Mark is 17 years old and terrified of the conclusions he has reached about the nature of the universe. He is also desperate not to become like a father he never understood.

But now that Rainbow Dash has come to stay, Mark feels that he may finally be able to shake off the pain of the past and become the person he is supposed to be. He is not entirely wrong.
