Nightmare Centaur

"Zecora when can we get moving I'm bored already." Centaur laid on the floor covered in bandages.

"When you can stand at take ten steps before falling down." She was reading a book sitting a few feet away from him.

"But why is it so important that I even get fully healed? It's not like I haven't done this before."

"Have you done this before, Centaur?" Zecora looked up from her book and tightened the bandage on his chest, "stop trying to get up it's not going to happen, Centaur."

"But,The elements." He tried to sit up again finding whatever Zecora did to him still was holding him back.

"I've contacted Twilight, Shes the most powerful of elements, magic. She should be here any minute now.Shes very interested to meet a Centaur and test out some spell."

"I hate magic, never does any good for anyone." He shook his head furiously,"What if it turns me into some type of rat or somthing?"

"Then I guess it would be best to keep you away from larger pest."

Centaur's eyes lit up for a brief moment, brightening the whole room."What was that for!" He shot Zecora a accusing look.

"Sorry, centaur.I guess habit's die hard huh." She smiled slyly as he tried to stand again only to fall back down.

"You did that on purpose! Admit it." When zecora said nothing, he slammed his good hand onto her book. "I said, admit it."

"I have no clue what your talking about, Centaur."

"Fine.When is this Twilight supposed to get here anyway."

"She has her own life you know. Why don't you just take a nap and when you wake up she should be here."

"I don't wanna take a nap," Centaur complained.

"But you will." Zecora blew a green powder into Centaur's eye.

his head fell onto the ground, "I don't wanna."

"Will she be alright doctor?"

"Applebloom will be just fine, Applejack. That claw just nipped a major artery but she'll be fine."

"Alright y doc."

The hospital room door opened, "Hey Applejack you want to come with me to see a Centaur?"

" Now why would I wanna do that when poor Applebloom is stuck in bed?"

Twilight pulled Scootaloo by the tail into the room, "She says, that's the creature that lured the manticore away from Applebloom."

"Is that true, Scootaloo?" Scootaloo nodded. "Then I guess that I better go check on him then."

"I'm not going." Scootaloo stated.

"Of course not, you're  staying to keep an eye on Applebloom."

"Why do I have to watch Applebloom?" Scootaloo complained.

"Don't worry Scootaloo. You won't be the only one keeping an eye on Applebloom" Rarity said pulling Sweetie belle into the room.

"I don't wanna stay at the stinky old hospital."

"Well you're going to." Rarity dropped Sweetie belle beside Scootaloo."Doctor, make sure that they're the ones who feeds her and makes sure she has everything she needs."

The doctor nodded."Can do miss Rarity."

"Do you have any problem with that arrangement Applejack?"

"Nope. that sounds pretty fair to me, Rarity."

"Pretty unfair If you ask me." Sweetie belle whispered to Scootaloo.

"Are you girls all set to go?" Twilight asked her friends.

"I guess so.I just hate that Zecora chose to stay in that forest rather than in a house in ponyvile."

"Well, Rarity.That was her choice now come on I wanna get there before it gets too dark."

Centaur was flailing about randomly bucking everything that was in Zecora's house. The pain from losing his arm finally hit him and he was having a panic attack.

"Zecora what's going on?" Twilight asked the Zebra who was outside her house.

"Nothing. he's just having a problem with his missing limb." The girls all walked up and stared into the window.

"Centaur's eyes where lit up once more as he turned to the window that the girls watched from. He threw himself into the window and latched onto Rarity's horn with his good hand.Zecora yet again blew green dust into Centaur's eyes.

"He's a bit cranky from his nap, miss Rarity.It would be best If we would let him rest."

Centaur's eyes lit up once more as he fell to the ground unconscious.his grip loosened and he let go of Rarity's horn.

"Well what was all that about Zecora?" Asked applejack

"Well I made it so when the pain from losing his arm came it would be much easier to deal with , it didn't work. Not to mention I aggravated his Sing song."

"Well that doesn't explain a thing about why he was destroying your house."

"I think we was having a panic attack of some sort." Zecora lead the girls into her house.

"Zecora, do you plan on keeping him here with you?"

"Oh, no.Twilight The only reason I didn't take him back home yet is because he claims nightmare moon has taken over Tribe, his home."

"But didn't we defeat nightmare moon with the elements, twilight?"

"I thought we did Applejack. It is possible that she just decided to give up on Luna and move on."

"Well what sense would that make Twilight?" Rarity asked as she continued to clean Zecora's house, for some reason.

"It sounds like Nightmare moon just cut her losses at the lost possible moment."

Centaur kicked out knocking several things of the wall.

"And why on earth did he think he could beat a manticore."

"He didn't, Applejack. Hes not the one who thinks before he does something.Also where he comes from there is a drink called manticore, probably thought that was what the girls where referring to.

"That sounds highly unlikely."

"Twilight, hes the element of stupidity, The sub element of laughter and loyalty." Zecora said handing Twilight the book she had been reading earlier."It's all in this book."

"I've read that book aready Zecora.I just didn't believe it."

"So what was that stuff you put in his eye Zecora? It would be plenty helpful to have that stuff when granny smith is snoring up a storm."

"It's a knock out powder but it only last three minutes at most."  Zecora said backing out of her house slowly.

Centaur's head shot up and quickly looked around."Where are they!?" he shouted as he grabbed hold of applejack. "What have you done with Strongheart Appleloosan?"

"I have no Idea what your talkin' about."

"You and your settler ponies kidnapped Little stongheart, Where is she." he shook Applejack violently, trying to get an answer.

"we're not even in Appleloosa!" She shouted pushing off of him.

He stared angrily at Applejack. "Thunderhooves was right you appleloosans never change." His head turned to Zecora.

"Zecora? What are you doing here, I thought you left."

"Seems he has memory loss now."

"My memory is just fine you're the one whose mind is all jacked up." He pointed to Twilight.

"What do you mean my memory is jacked up?"

"I don't know, it just is ok. I'm a element of harmony you better watch your tone."

"we're elemens of harmony."

"Impossible I'm still miles away from ponyville. Strongheart is supposed to take me ,But you took her."his attention wen't back to Applejack.

"I ain't done nothin With Little strongheart." Centaur reached down and grabbed a spear he knocked off the wall earlier.

"Centaur." Zecora said from behinde him

"What!" He turned around  and got a face full of knock out dust.

"That's one way to get things done. But why did he think he was in appleloosa?

Zecora shrugged,"Tribe is no where near Appleloosa. He must have gotten of track, on his way here."

"Whats this ,'Tribe', Zecora." It's a City much bigger than even Manhatten.everything from humans to ponies live there. Centaurs are the result of the two living together peacefully for over a thousand years..."I even found myself living there for a period of time. For some reason Centaurs could be controled or killed by Melodies and song.So after four years of moving there, I moved on."

"That sounds like a place I would like to visit, is it anything like canterlot?" Rarity looked at Zecora finally taking intrest in the situation.

"Yes. they pride themselves on art and some fashion but getting in is a task of it's own. If your intentions are not pure they'll kill you at the gate not even allowing you the chance to turn around."

"That sounds, bad." Rarity's enthusiasm lessened."So one would have to take a chance at death before they could enjoy the city?"

Zecora nodded."But with nightmare moon there, the rules sure to have changed."
