Welcome to Canterlot High!
It was 8 P.M. My dad drove me over to my girlfriend's sister's house/boutique to drop me off. We were headed to the school dance known as the fall formal. It was the event of the year for freshmen. I finally got to hang with bunch of people up at the high school and dance with my girlfriend. Who, currently was upstairs. I had been waiting for her for ten minutes.
"Hola, Plata" Sweetie Belle said, walking down the stairs. I looked at her. She was gorgeous.
"Hola hermosa" I said. She blushed.
"English, darlings" Rarity said, walking into the room. She looked like she was getting ready for a makeover montage.
"Sorry, Rarity," I said, "Just getting in a little practice."
"Yeah, we have our next test coming up in a week!" Sweetie said.
"Marvelous," She said, flatly, "Now get into the car, I'll be waiting for you. I think Twilight will be riding with us, so be prepared to sit in the back, Sweetie Belle."
"Okay, Rarity" She said. We headed out the door and hopped in the backseat. It was bad that Rarity never locked her doors, but at least it made it easy for us to get in. Me and her sat in the back. after a few minutes, things got boring. I looked at Sweetie. If there was one thing I remembered, it was that she was very ticklish. I poked her side. She glared at me like she knew what I was doing. I ignored her and poked her again. She glared at me again, but this time for longer. I began tickling her. She laughed, horribly.
"S-Stop! P-Please!" She said, between bursts of laughter. I ignored her and continued to tickle her sides. She wouldn't stop laughing. She pushed me off, sending me into the door. She began to tickle me. I laughed even harder than she did. She started to faster and faster, until I pushed her off. I sat up and pulled her in for a kiss. She kissed back. We sat in that position for a good two minutes before Rarity opened the door.
"That's enough, you two," Rarity said, "I don't want to clean my car and I don't need a nephew or a niece."
"Hey!" We said in unison.
"Just joking around," She said, "But seriously, you two are too young for that."
We laughed and drove off. I kissed Sweetie Belle on the cheek one more time. She blushed. She kissed me on the cheek back.
"What did I say?" Rarity asked.
"We weren't listening" I said.
"Note Blade!" Sweetie Belle said, slapping me.
"Damn" Rarity said.
"Sorry..." I said.
"You know, you can be a real idiot sometimes..." Sweetie said, "But you're still my boyfriend."
We arrived at the High School. We hopped out with Rarity and Twilight, who was very quiet the entire trip.
"Here we are, Twilight," Rarity said, "The Fall Formal."
I grabbed Sweetie Belle's arm and ran up the steps and into the main halls. We navigated the school to the gym. SHe almost fell on the way there.
"Note!" She yelled, slapping me hard enough to send me into a wall.
"Fuck!" I yelled. She grabbed my hand, picking me up. We walked into the gym. I kissed her as we entered the gym.
"PDA, Note Blade" She said.
"Don't care" I said. We stepped into the gym. We headed toward the wall immediately. We weren't dancers, but we did get to play after Flash Drive. Sweetie was going to play back-up vocals for my band. We hadn't gotten any of our songs done, so we were just going to play a couple of punk songs and rock songs before we played one final song. That's when Sweetie Belle would take over singing. After Flash's last song we walked backstage.
"First off, I wanna say how wonderful everything looks tonight. You all did a magnificent job pulling things together after the unfortunate events of earlier. And now, without further ado, I'd like to announce the winner of this year's Fall Formal crown. The Princess of this year's Fall Formal is... Twilight Sparkle!" Celestia said. The crowd cheered. There was some yelling, but I couldn't understand what it said. I opened the curtain just a bit. Nobody was in there. I went to the front of the school to see where everybody went. My band followed behind me. I arrived and saw everybody staring at something outside. I looked where everybody else was looking. A demon. Fuck.
"Run!" I yelled. I heard a crushing sound come from the front entrance, and then I heard a magical blast. But I didn't stop running. I somehow escaped her, but just barely. I ran to the fencing area and grabbed a sword, for protection, of course. I knew I should've taken fencing. I sat there for a good hour before I heard a loud laser beam. I got up and headed toward the source, which was, of course the front gate. Rarity and her friends were flying with magic and had defeated the demon. I looked down at the hole in the ground. Sunset Shimmer was crying in the hole.
"You will never rule in Equestria," Twilight said, "Any power you may have had in this world is gone. Tonight, you've shown everyone who you really are. You've shown them what is in your heart."
"I-I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Sunset said, crying, I didn't know there was another way."
"The magic of friendship doesn't just exist in Equestria. It's everywhere," Twilight said, "You can seek it out, or you can forever be alone. The choice is yours."
"But... But all I've ever done since being here is drive everyone apart," Sunset said, "I don't know the first thing about friendship."
"I bet they can teach you" Twilight said, pointing to her friends.
"Those are my girls! Woo-hoo!" A dog said.
"Did that dog just talk? Whoa. Weird." Brawly Beats said.
"Seriously? The talking dog is a weird thing about all this?" The dog
"I, for one, think you're adorable" Rarity said, petting him.
"Oh, yeah" The dog.
"I believe this belongs to you. A true princess in any world leads not by forcing others to bow before her, but by inspiring others to stand with her. We have all seen that you are capable of just that. I hope you see it too, Princess Twilight" Principal Celestia said to Twilight.
"I do" She said.
"Wait, wait," I said, "What. The. Fuck."
Pinkie Pie walked up to me and told me the entire story.
"Again," I said, "What. The. Fuck."
Welcome to Canterlot High!
We were at the final battle of Battle of the Bands. Trixie was performing. My band, Sweetie Belle, her friends, and I were sitting under a tree nearby. We hated Trixie’s song. She played it the entire Battle of the Bands. The music stopped. Thank god it was over. Then the Dazzlings started playing. When I first heard their voices, something felt weird. I covered my ears and told the others to do the same. After the song, I told them to act all angry and stuff. I don’t know why, but they listened. I saw some people walking up on a hill. It was Twilight and her friends! I knew something was fishy. They began singing. I still refused to unplug my ears though. Sweetie Belle unplugged hers though.
“Sweetie Belle!” I hissed.
“What?” She asked, “I’m not noticing anything.”
I couldn’t hear her, but I could tell what she was saying. I unplugged my ears. I looked toward the Dazzlings. They had changed. A lot, actually. Was this another magic situation?
“Don’t need to hear a crowd cheering out my name,” Twilight sang, “I didn’t come here seeking infamy or fame.”
“The one and only thing that I am here to bring is music, is the music, is the music in my soul! Gonna break out! Set myself free, yeah! Let it all go! Just let it be, yeah! Find the music in your heart! Let the music make you start to set yourself apart!” The rest of the girls joined in. The Dazzlings looked angry.
“So the Rainbooms want to turn this into a real Battle of the Bands?” Adagio said, “Then let’s battle!”
The Dazzlings started singing, “What we have in store, all we want and more! We will break on through, now it’s time to finish you!”
Magical creatures flew threw there medallion. They all got into a vocalization contest until Twilight lost the mic. A random girl picked it up. Wait... It’s Sunset!
“Sunset Shimmer!” Twilight said, “We need you!”
Sunset threw her jacket off and a drum beat started.
“You’re never gonna bring me down!” She said, “You’re never gonna break this part of me! My friends are here to bring me ‘round, not singing just for popularity!”
“We’re here to let you know,” Twilight joined in with Sunset, “That we won’t let it go.”
“Our music is a bomb and it’s about to blow!” They all sang.
“And you can try to fight,” Sunset and Twilight sang, “But we have got the light of...”
“Friendship on our side!” They all sang, “Got the music in our hearts! We’re here to blow this thing apart! And together, we will never be afraid of the dark! Here to sing our song out loud, get you dancing with the crowd! As the music of our friendship survives, survives!”
Everybody began singing, “Got the music in our hearts! We’re here to blow this thing apart! And together, we will never be afraid of the dark! Here to sing our song out loud! Get you dancing with the crowd! As the music of our friendship, survives, survives, survives!
A sick guitar solo played as a giant alicorn that had appeared in the sky brought a magic rainbow beam down on the Dazzlings. After the light faded away, leaving at least three or four kids with seizures, the Dazzlings sat in defeat. They got back up.
“We will be adored!” The tried to sing, but failed, “Tell us that you want us! We won’t be ignored! It’s time for our reward...”
“Boo!” We all booed at the Dazzlings. They ran off stage, crying. The girls headed up toward the stage. Sunset picked up some of the crystal that was on the ground. I couldn’t tell what she was saying, but I knew those amulets had to be some sort op power source. I felt a pair of lips touch my cheek. I blushed. I kissed her back.
“I love you” She said.
“I love you too” I said. I kissed her deeply on the lips.
“Sweetie Belle!” Rarity yelled form the stage, “Stop!”
“Can we ever end a chapter with kissing?” I asked.
“Nope!” Pinkie said, popping up randomly, “Deal with it! The world is a paradox that I know how to bend because FUck reality! Also, you’re too young!”
“C’mon!” I said. I’m 14! Why is everybody so against it? Fuck.
Author's Note
Well, I did great. I think. This chapter was shorter than I thought it would be. Bye!
