A Cliché Story

Chapter One
Celestia sighed as she walked through the hallways of Canterlot castle. It had been a long day for her as she sat through countless meetings with nobles about matters that were too boring to remember. Two guards saluted her as she walked past them, but she was too tired to respond. Celestia made her way to Luna's private study to inform her that it was time for her to take over the court and raise the moon, alowing Celestia to get some well needed rest.
Celestia knocked on the door to Luna's study.
"Lulu, time to raise the moon and take over the royal court for the night~"
Celestia heard the sounds of many different objects being rearranged around the room as Luna slowly made her way towards the door. Alas, the door opened to reveal a very tired Luna.
"Luna, you don't look so good. Have you been staying awake for the past couple of days again?" Celestia asked her sleep deprived sister.
Luna released a yawn which answered Celestia's question.
"We have... I have been trying to catch up on all the things that I missed while on the moon. I am perfectly fine Tia," Luna mumbled while walking out into the hallway next to her sister.
"Luna, you're not even walking, you're just shuffling across the ground. In fact, you've been doing that quite a lot lately," Celestia pointed out. Luna just sighed.
"Yes, I understand that every day I'm shuffling," Luna paused. "Huh, that's strange."
"What is," Celestia asked curiously.
“We- I felt like something was supposed to happen after I said that.”
“Said what?”
“Every day I’m Shuffling. Weird, now I have this tingling sensation that’s in my bones, it makes me want to dance." Luna's legs started to move back and forth in spasmic motions. "Tia! Help me,” She screamed.
“Luna, you need to make some friends. It would be healthy for you,” Celestia laughed while walking away from Luna, leaving her to shuffle in the hallway.
“But Tia, it’s not that easy. Everypony is still afraid of me, nopony wants to be my friend,” Luna called out.
“Just try for me Luna, I’m sure you could make somepony like you,” Celestia called back.
Luna shuffled in place thinking about what Celestia said. You need to *make** some friends. I’m sure you could make somepony like you.* The words ringed in her head as her legs kept moving. Suddenly a light bulb went off in Luna’s head.
“Oh, I will make a friend alright,” Luna said under her breath while running to royal archives to find information about animation.

“I’m telling you man, the Xbox version of Minecraft updated and now has pistons,” My friend, Colby, said excitedly.
“I don’t care, I play the computer version, I’m more excited about the tripwire that’s coming out” I groaned.
I was 16, 5’6, had sandy blond hair and blue eyes, a sarcastic asshole most of the time, had a headache and was annoyed.
I was sitting at lunch with my friend Colby while I started my homework that was due next period and he ate what are poor school dared to call food. We had a test next period and like always, I didn’t study. I would probably make a low B on it so I didn’t really care.
“Hey bro,” Colby asked me shaking me from my thoughts.
“What do you want, I’m trying to finish this,” I responded drily.
“Sorry, but this is important. You know how we’re both Bronies.”
“Yeah,” I said looking up. He lied to me, ponies are not important, they’re VERY important.
“Well think about this, what would you do if we went to Equestria?”
“No.” I cut him off before he could say anything else, looking back at my history book.
“What, you wouldn’t want to go to Equestria?”
“Well not really, I’m perfectly happy with all the shit I have at home and I like my family. Plus, Equestria isn’t real dumbass.”
“I know it’s not real asshole but what if you could?”
“I wouldn’t go unless I had a way back and wasn’t a human because that would scare the shit out of all the ponies there.”
“Good point, so would you go as a pony?”
“No, I would go as a worm, you fucking idiot. What do you think?”
Just a note, my friends and I are completely random, insult each other all the time, and curse like sailors; so this was a normal conversation for us. We then proceeded to argue about which type of pony was better, Pegasus or Unicorn. Colby was saying how pegasi were better because they could fly and control the weather. I pointed out that unicorns could use magic and that in theory, they could just use a levitation spell on themselves, allowing them to fly. I love troll logic. We continued this argument until we walked into our next class and sat down.
We were handed our test and I looked over all the questions. I didn’t know any of the shit that was written on that paper.
“This is gay,” I said a little louder than I expected while flipping back to the first page. Unfortunately my teacher, Mr. Montgomery, (we call him Mr. Mont for short) heard me.
“What did you say Mr. Chance,” he said in his normal booming voice.
Fun fact: If Mr. Mont can’t pronounce or remember your last name he just calls you by your first name. My last name is Garrard. It also sort of sounds like Gay-Rod. So I'm just called Mr. Chance.
“I said is this due today? I don’t think I will be able to finish answering all these questions this class period,” I responded. Some of the other kids snickered.
Another fact: Mr. Mont’s test are LONG. He knows we can’t finish most of them in one class so he lets us come after class to finish, great for suddenly knowing the answers to the questions you didn’t know before, if you know what I mean.
“Yeah, like always you can come after class if you don’t finish,” he said mainly addressing the entire class instead of just me.
I sighed and slumped back into my seat. I just stared at the test, my eyes becoming heavy at the silence in the classroom. Soon I put my head on my desk and started to scribble my pencil on the test so it looked like I was answering questions. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Luna stood in at the edge of the circle made out of strange symbols that were created out of chalk. She was wearing a lab coat and safety goggles as she scanned over the steps and ingredients used to make the spell to make sure she did everything correctly. What she was preforming was extremely illegal but she was the Princess of the Night, she was in charge of the laws. Luna just hoped that her sister didn’t find out.
Luna was ready. Her plan: Make a friend, literally. She was making a body of a unicorn and was going to fill it with life essence; creating a living pony. Of course it was temporary. She would destroy the, ‘shell’ as she called it, when she had made real friends and had no more use for her creation.
Luna sighed and closed her eyes. She was tired, but she would rest when she was done with this and had a friend to hang out with. She started to focus and call magic to her horn, casting the spell. The circle of runes started to glow as the pile of mud, hair, some small unicorn bones, and drops of blood from no other than Princess Luna herself started to rise from the ground. The mixture started to spin slowly, increasing its speed until it was just a blur. Slowly the mixture slowed down and took the shape of a unicorn. The shell of a pony stood in the center of the circle, seconds ago where the pile of mixed ingredients were.
Luna slowly opened her eyes to see if her spell worked correctly. She walked around the soulless body examining it. The body was that of a stallion. She swore silently, she should have checked the bones she recovered to see if they were male or female. Luna shook the feeling of disappointment away and decided that a lesson she should learn about friendship was that she should accept ponies for who they are, even if it was because of your mistakes.
Luna continued to look over the body, examining the pale coat and dark blue mane the body had. It reminded her of the moon in the night sky. Luna smirked at how close both of her creations looked like. The eye sockets were empty, mainly because the shell had no ‘soul.’ The horn was larger than the average horn but not as long as her and her sister’s horn. She assumed it had to do with her blood being used to create the body. Luna had to make sure she kept the pony under control while it was alive. It would be a powerful pony, almost on par with Twilight Sparkle. If it went crazy, and started wreaking havoc in the city, it would do a lot of damage before it was stopped. Luna sighed then smiled.
“I guess it’s time to make a friend,” she said while her horn was engulfed with a dark blue aura.
Luna slowly lowered her horn to touch the horn on her soon-to-be friend. After a couple of seconds, the body collapsed onto the floor. Luna watched as the pony started to breathe slowly and its eyes opened.

I opened my eyes to see the feet- hooves, whatever, of none other than Princess Luna herself. She was staring at me and I just stared back. Then she spoke.
“Hello, I’m Princess Luna. Ruler of the night sky, creator of the moon, I AM the night, controller of-”
I couldn’t help it. I put on my best Christian Bale impression and interrupted Luna’s monologue.
“I’m Batman.”
“What?”
I laughed and tried to get to my feet, but instead found out I had hooves. I was a pony.
“Well this is new, never dreamed where I was a pony before… AW SHIT, Mr. Mont is going to kill me for sleeping in his class.
“What?!”
“MOTHER FUCKER! THIS IS A FIRST PERSON DREAM TOO! LUNA, BARRICADE THE DOOR WHILE I LOOK FOR WEAPONS!”
“WHAT?!”
