*Third Person's POV*

Words alone could not describe the divinity of this moment. The moment when a god walks among mortals. Right now, in the under-city of Terra, the divine sanctuary of humanity, in the golden throne room the thousands of liberated humans who were escorted by the Space Marines and their Chapter Masters entered for one purpose only, to meet the God-Emperor of Humankind himself. For that sacred moment, up there he is, sitting on his golden throne while having a divine, golden aura glowing around his body as the liberated humans stare at him with faces of adoration and idolization, while the Space Marines were on their knees with their heads looking down.

After like five minutes (felt like fifty hours) of silence, the God-Emperor rise from his chair and slowly walked down the stair towards his subjects. Each step he takes echoes through the entire room, perhaps even through out all of Terra. As slow as he comes the closer the God-Emperor comes to the free humans, the more an alien sensation or feeling they begin to beat inside them. They all began to feel a new kind of feeling that they had never felt in their life. An emotion that is absolutely the opposite of what they had always felt as slaves and run-away slaves. When they were rescued by the space marines they know the feeling of save and happiness but this complete new feeling is something they don't even know or understand.

As the God-Emperor is comming closer and closer, all the liberated humans felt their insticts telling them to go down on their knees. At the same time they all immediately got down on their knees with their hands and heads down on the floor. They all kept bowing even after the God-Emperor came to the end of the stair.

*God-Emperor's POV*

I walked all the way down the stairs to make a first good impression on my dear subjects and it seems to work to the point that they all bowed down to me very quickly. It really took me by surprise since I thought they wouldn't accept a ruler for the sake of their freedom, but I guess that after what my warriors did for them they are so extremely grateful.

Once I was at the end of the stairs, I passed through my Chapter Masters to come closer to the liberated humans who were still bowing down on the ground. It would seem that I truly am an emperor of humankind. I looked at them all and tries to think of a way to talk to them. I myself was nervous because I was never worshiped or admired as a ruler for all my life. Of course my Space Marines are the first one to do it but when we talk about people who were born naturally and grew up outside my personal empire is a complete different thing. All I can do now is trusting my instincts about how to approach this.

"I'm filled with joy and pride to meet you all, my precious subjects." I said in a calm and kind tone, trying my best not to be rude. My word did however cause them all to lift up a little but their heads was still looking down on the ground.

"Look at me again everyone." I told them all and they all complied, slowly gazing their eyes on me again.

"When I woke up from my slumber in limbo and set foot on this world I saw and felt what the world did to our race. My visions showed me the treatment every races gave you all and the pain all nations of the world filled in you all. Which is the purpose of my and my warrior's existence, to turn the table around and turn you all from slaves into conquerors for the sake of survival and justice of our kind." I spoke out loud enough for everyone to hear. I seem to have given everyone alot of impression enough for them to talk among themselves in admiration of my goal.

"Great God-Emperor. Forgive my curiosity, but I must know. How are we going to become conquerors when we have been slaves and victims for all our lives. We know nothing of how to fight, unlike your warriors." An old man asked me and that cause everyone to look at me, eager for an answer. I took a deep breath before I make a speech that I had practised with.

"It has fallen to me and my Space Marines, to defend humanity, and we have made our preparations as well as they can be made. None of us knows why humanity are treated as slaves. Every Xeno of this planet are always giving the same claim that the human race has always been slaves. We fight over an offence we did not deserve, against those who has no right to give us this offence. Humanity is not destined to be slaves! We are a holy race capable to travel across the stars and conquer other worlds. If we humans are stupid animals like the xenos claims we are then how are we able for such machinery and power that we now possess?" I asked and they all looked among themselves to ask that before I continued.

"What is more stronger? Magic? Machines? The amount of muscles? It is the will to never give up! Who possess that will? There is only one race that does. THE HUMAN RACE!" I said with a raised voice.

"We fight to protect and preserve the human race, to defend you all. But not for your safety, but for you all to become stronger and fight back with the instrument of righteous revenge!" I said outloud and all the humans seems encouraged and enlightened by my speech. I decided to finish my speech the way I planed it.

"We can become conquerors instead of slaves, do you all wanna know how? (they all nodded) This is very simple. The world is tainted, but we are the purifiers. The world is infected, but we are the cure. The world is ruin, but we are the builders. We are here to return the power that humanity had once again, with hard work, with honesty, with determination, with trust. We are the product of loving mothers and supportive fathers. We are the embodiment of power and progress! Our bravery makes us masters of magic and science. We are the gods of what is right. We are the promise delivered to all humankind. For that, we take weapons and fight as one for a holy empire. We step to the beat of one drum. We march to the beat of one heart. I offer you all the chance to become stronger, so strong you and your love ones will never be hurt ever again. I'm giving you all the one time opportunity for change, for retribution! Will you all take this one chance!?" I called out with my arms stretched out for an answer and they all cheered with rage and pride in their hearts.

"Hear me out then! Be without fear in the face of your enemies. Be brave and upright for all things that is right and holy. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard all humans. That is your oath. (I snaps my fingers so that I created a quick spark on their heads as a way to slap their necks)And that's so you all remember it." I said and it seems like none took any offence in that, some seems to chuckled nervously, it was in that moment I raised my right hand in the air and called out.

"Arise warriors! ARISE ASTRA MILITARUM!!" I yelled out and than all the liberated humans stand up on their feets and cheered and roared the loudest one I had ever heard, with their fist in the sky.

"FOR THE EMPEROR!!!"
"FOR HUMANITY!!!"
"FOR REVENGE!!!"
"ALL HAIL THE GOD-EMPEROR!!!"

I could hear them all yelling as they kept cheering in both admiration and devotion to my quest of forming my own Imperium of Mankind, I renamed it the Holy Human Empire!

And now it is time to set my military plans to motion.

Author's Note

The God-Emperor's Speech is inspired from two movies known as the Kingdom of Heaven and the Iron Sky.

Spoiler(s): I read the story known as For the Emperor and the UNSC! and I can imagine the Space Marines and the UNSC armies fighting together, so imagine if the Astra Militarum is actually the imperial version of the UNSC as a whole. Maybe this story's Astra Militarum is (smirking).
