As quietly as he could, he slipped out through the door and down the hall. He looked around at the high walls as he made his way, a little unsure of where he would find any food. After passing a few doors, he decided to open one. Taking the first door to his left, he pushed a hoof against it. The wooden door gave way with a dull creak before opening to a bathroom, where what stood before him was a pony who was currently pacing back and forth. As he crept closer he could hear the mare mumbling under her breath.

"What should I do. What should I do. I know I came here to seek help, but how would she help me when I was the one who attacked Canterlot during her visit with the Element of Magic." She mumbled before looking up to the young colt that had just wandered in.

"A-Are you ok?" he asked.

When she had finished speaking, she became engulfed in a green flame, revealing the shiny chitinous body of Queen Chrysalis. The two guards sprung immediately and aimed the spears at the newly revealed Queen.

"Please, Just hear me out. I mean no harm here. I have brought none of my children with me. I come to make peace, for the sake of my children. They are dying and I cannot feed them. Cadence and the rest of the Princesses sat slack-jawed. Never did they think that an enemy would willingly submit to reformation like this. It was an incredibly heavy thing that Queen Chrysalis had just dropped on them. Cadence looked to the others to gauge their reactions. Luna, Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon sat with pensive looks, mulling over what had been presented before them. After a few minutes of silent deliberation Luna nodded at the others before speaking.

"On behalf of Canterlot and the Princesses of Sun and Moon, We shall enter deliberation with thee on the matters of being Allies. Whether we decide to do so will depend also on the thoughts of my Sister. That is our word on the matter." She stated, her authority ringing with every word. Cadence nodded and looked to the Queen before she to spoke.

"Queen Chrysalis. You attacked the city of Canterlot to try and save those you care for and love. That is something near and dear to my heart, and I too would like to discuss this union in detail. However a more pressing matter would be the state of your children yes?" She stated, the Queen nodding with a sad look. Cadence nodded as well before she continued. "In that case, I have a proposition. I just happen to know a very dashing colt, who happens to have plenty of love to give. With permission of those here, Id like to offer the services of our royal consort, Sir Aero."

Aero froze in his seat at that. All of his mares smiled and looked towards their adorable lover and nodded, knowing that his kind heart would be perfect for helping the woe begotten Queen. After a few moments of fighting himself, his own soft side won out. He nodded as a fierce blushed colored his face. Cadence smiled and dismissed the two guards as she hopped down from her throne. She beckoned for Chrysalis and Aero to follow as she led them to one of her nicer rooms. She opened the door and pushed the two in before closing the door quickly, giving them a quick goodnight before leaving.

Aero shuffled nervously before taking a few breaths. He had done this numerous times now, and that meant that he couldn't be some blushing nervous colt anymore.
