Chapters You decided to walk up to it and open the lid
You get sucked into a portal and you spaced out.
You tried to move around but you couldn’t, then you noticed something pink. You looked around and you noticed it was some kind of pink creature that was holding you.
The pink creature looked at you and she said, “You’re finally awake”.
Her voice, it was a soft and sweet one, you liked it, it was like the voice of the mother you had never had. The weird creature kissed you on my forehead and you got a better look at her.
She was a unicorn!
“What the heck is happening?! Why is there a pink unicorn?! Am I dreaming?!” you tried to say but instead, you only made gurgles.
The pink horse giggled.
Then you heard a knock on the door.
“Come in” the pink unicorn said.
A white unicorn with different shades of blue hair came in and said, “I’m sorry I’m late Cadance, I was on duty for a long time”
“Cadance? Is that her name?”, you thought.
Then the white unicorn looked at me and it seemed like his eyes widen.
“Can horses even do that?”, you thought.
“Is that my daughter?” the white unicorn said as he started to tear.
“You mean our daughter”, Cadance said.
“Wait what?! Daughter!!! How are horses my parents? And how am I here? And what am I?”, you said very fast but it all came out to sound like gurgling.
The two unicorns both awed at me and Cadance said, “I think she likes you Shining Armor”.
Shining Armor? What a weird name.
A knock was at the door and Shining Armor said to come in. This time it was not a unicorn, it was some other type of horse. The horse was really shiny, like crystal shiny.
The horse bowed and said, “Hello your highnesses, congratulations on your new baby princess, the empire is honored to have her”.
“Wait what? Your highnesses? Baby princess? Empire? Are they royalty? Wait! And I royalty? I must be dreaming. Are they my parents?”, you thought.
“Thank You Doctor Crystal, we are both happy that we all can share this experience”, Cadance said as Shining Armor nuzzled you.
“I am just here to give your baby a checkup”, the doctor said.
Shining Armor nodded and he handed me to the doctor. The doctor put you on a scale and weighed you.
While he was doing that, there was a mirror behind the scale and I looked at it. You look like a white baby unicorn, with dark blue and yellow hair.
“This must be a dream, or someone must have drugged me!”, you said and started wailing.
The doctor handed me back to your supposedly mother.
“Shhhh sweetie, it’s okay, your mother is here”, Cadance said.
“What are you talking about?! This is not okay! I was a human moments ago, now I’m some kind of unicorn princess!”, you tried to say but instead, your wailing became louder.
Cadance started swaddling you and you started calming down.
“Don’t worry about her wailing your royal highnesses, babies do that, you’ll get use to it”, the doctor said.
“Phew”, Shining Armor said and kissed you on the forehead.
“Well I did her check up and your baby is healthy and normal, congratulations!”, the doctor said.
The two unicorns thanked the doctor and he left.
“What are we going to name her Cadance?”, Shining Armor asked.
“I was thinking, Radiance”, Cadance said.
“What a beautiful name for our beautiful daughter”, Shining Armor said.
They both kissed you on the cheek and suddenly, you felt sleepy.

You’ve been awoken by some awes, as you opened your eyes, you saw six ponies.
You noticed there was a blue one with wings who was up in the air.
“Great, a horse with wings, why am I not surprised”, you thought.
The other five was a purple one, a yellow one, a pink one, a white one, and an orange one. They were aweing at you as you started you look at them.
The purple one said, “Congratulations to you both, I know she’s going to be a great ruler someday”.
“Ruler?”, you said but it only came as gurgles.
The six ponies awed at you.
“Shall we start the ceremony?”, the big white unicorn asked, as you figured she is Celestia.
The couple nodded and the purple one picked you up and carried you outside.
As the purple unicorn was carrying you, you were dazzeled by the beautiful shiny walls and floor.
It was big. As you put things together, you finally realized you were in a castle, it makes sense, your “parents” are royalty.
The shiny ponies wearing armor were on the side.
“I guess they are the guards”, you thought.
When you got outside you heard cheering behind the curtains. As everyone went through the curtains to the stage you were amazed by everything. To beautiful houses to the colorful shiny ponies below you.
You saw two ponies, one a light purple unicorn and an orange unicorn who were both not shiny, wave at the pony that was holding you. The purple one waved back with a grin like she was proud or something.
The couple came up beside you, one at each side kissed me. Their horns started to glow and you were being lifted up somehow. You had a strange feeling, but even thought it was strange it felt warm and loving, so you giggled.
“Ponies of the Crystal Empire, may I present the newest member of the Crystal Empire”, the purple one said and pointed at me.
The light behind you started to shine brighter as the horses below started to cheer. They all bowed while you were dropped slowly. Your parents caught you and nuzzled you.
You felt love and warmth like you never got before, you didn’t want it to leave.
After the whole event, your eyes become droopy and you fell asleep.
Once again, you woke up, but this time, it was night. As you try to wake yourself up from this “dream” you realized something.
“Why am I worrying about all this, I shouldn’t care if this is or is not real. I am being treated like royalty here. Why should you go back to where you were and work as a trashman but instead just live your life like a princess and make your servants do everything for you. But then again, do I really want to be a pony? And relive my life as a baby again?”
You thought about this for awhile.
You decided you should live this princess life (Go to 5)

You walked into the throne room, and you saw your mother, looking broken as ever. It’s been awhile since you’ve seen her smile. Nothing has ever been right in the Empire since he was gone.
You bowed to her. “What do you need Radiance?”, your mother said firmly.
No backing out now.
“Mother, I wanted to talk to you about something”, you said.
“What is it?”, your mother asked.
You missed the sweet warming voice your mother used. That voice was gone now.
“Mother, I wanted to talk about the rules”, you said.
“What about them?”, your mother said.
You tried to think carefully what you were going to say next.
“They’re too strict”, you said.
“Excuse me? What I am trying to do is to protect you! Keep you from harm!”, your mother yelled.
You knew that was would be her reaction. You can’t look away from her because her eyes were locked on you.
“I’m sixteen mother. You’ve kept me locked in here ever since I was born. I think it’s time to put the rules aside mother. And I can’t be good ruler if I am stuck in here all the time, I need to know my subjects.”, you said with anger.
Your mother sighed and said “Maybe you’re right, maybe I am being a little overprotective of you”.
“A little?”, you said as you raised an eyebrow.
Your mother chuckled. That was the first time in forever since you heard her laugh.
“I’ll bend the rules a little, for both you and your father”, your mother said.
You mother walked down from her throne and walked up to you. And she hugged you.
The love and warmth, it was back, you missed it so. Both you and your mother shed a tear. The happy reunion was put into an end when a blast came bursting through the door. It was some kind of insect pony.
“Radiance stay behind me!”, your mother commanded as she walked in front of you.
The insect pony laughed and said, “What a way to ruin a happy moment, if only I could do that more often.”, the insect pony said.
“What are you doing here Chrysalis?”, you mother said with anger.
“Chrysalis?”, you thought.
You’ve heard of here a couple of times. She is changeling that tried to take over Equestria during your parent’s wedding.
“To finish my job of course”, Chrysalis replied.
“Job? What job?”, you asked.
Chrysalis laughed and said, “Seriously Cadance? You didn’t tell her”.
“Mother, what is she talking about” you asked and looked at your mother.
She looked down and said nothing. You were confused.
“I hate to break this to you but, I’m the reason your father is gone”, Chrysalis said.
You felt furious. You being locked up, your mother being heartbroken, the love and warmth you never felt for years, it was all because of Chrysalis.
Chrysalis used her magic and blasted your mother. Your mother collapses down.
“Mother!”, you said as you ran to her.
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you the truth, and I’m sorry I was being too overprotective of you”, your mother said as she fell unconscious.
You nuzzled her, then you looked at Chrysalis.
“Aww, what are you going to do now since I knocked your mommy out”, Chrysalis said.
You felt enraged, you felt a surge coming from your horn. Then BAM! You made a blast that hit Chrysalis and knocked her out.
You were surprised, it’s been a long time since you’ve used magic. When you were a baby, your magic was out of control. You would do teleportation spells or levitation spells all the time. But as you grew out of the baby phase, you weren’t allowed to use your magic at all.
Then guards came in to the throne room and held Chrysalis.
“Man, where were they the whole time?”, you thought. “Radiance”, your mother said.
You ran to her. She looked at you and smiled,
“I’m proud of you”, she said.
You shed a tear and hugged your mother.
You are outside of your mother’s bedroom, pacing back and forth. Then Princess Celestia went came out of her room. You looked at her with a worried face.
She gave you a warming smile and said, “She will be fine, she just needs to rest”.
“That is reliving”, you said.
“Even though Chrysalis has been defeated, there is still a swarm of changelings and I believe they are going to come after us.”, Celestia said.
“What do we do?”, you asked.
“Your mother told me how you defeated Chrysalis”, Celestia said.
You blushed.
“You have great potential, sadly that potential was hidden away since you were locked up. I was thinking, maybe you should lead an army to defeat the swarm.”
“What?!”, you thought.
“I know it might seem crazy and I know you have no experience leading an army but, the crystal guards need someone to lead them since your mother can’t, and I have my own army to lead”.
“What about Princess Luna and Aunt Twilight?”, you asked.
“My sister will be watching over Canterlot while I’m gone and your Aunt Twilight has a friendship mission with her friends, far away from Equestria”, Celestia replied. “I'm not making you lead an army, it’s your choice”, Celestia said.
You decide to lead the army (Go to 8)

You decided you wanted to go back to the human world
You thought about it, you didn’t want to relive your life as a baby again, not to mention a horse. You wanted to be human again. You were feeling mad, you didn’t know what was going on, you just want to go home.
Then you felt a surge coming from your head . . . or isn’t your horn. Then a big blast came out of your horn and you can see all the floors on top of you.
“Did I just do that?!”, you thought.
Then some tall creature appeared out of nowhere to your room. She had a horn and insect wings. The thing had holes on her. You got some creepy vibes off her. You started to cry.
“Shh, it’s okay little one, don’t fret”, the creature said.
You still cried. She picked you up then suddenly the doors opened revealing Shining Armor and Cadance.
“Chrysalis!”, Shining Armor said.
“Let our baby go Chrysalis, or else”, Cadance said as her horn started glowing.
Chrysalis laughed, “ Would you rush hurting the baby?”.
Cadance’s horn stopped glowing.
“Please don’t do this Chrysalis, don’t take it out on our baby”, Shining Armor pleaded.
“Oh please Shining Armor, of course I’m going to do that!”, Chrysalis said and gave them an evil laugh.
You were freaking out, you didn’t know what to do, you tried to make the blast you did earlier but it didn’t work. And then you and Chrysalis disappeared from your room. Suddenly, you appeared in a dark place. Suddenly the place lit up and you saw more creatures.
The other creatures were shorted than Chrysalis but still had the same features as her. You stopped crying.
“Finally, I thought this little pest would never shut up”, Chrysalis said.
She put you in some kind of stump, it was less comfortable than the bed you had in the nursery but, it was still more comfortable than the bed you had in the trailer.
Chrysalis patted you and said, “You should be happy that I took you away from those idiots, now you are with me, you will help me rule Equestria now”.
It’s your choice.
You choose to not to side with Chrysalis (Go to 10)

“What the heck are you talking about? You’re insane”, you said but only gurgled.
You were getting mad, you just wanted to go home. You then get a surge on top of you. Suddenly a blast came out of your horn.
“Wait a minute, my anger can causes these blast to send signals to someone so they can find me”, you thought.
You made another magical blast.
“Enough!”, Chrysalis yelled but you didn’t stop.
You tried to aim at Chrysalis but your aim was bad.
“You will pay for this you little pest!”, Chrysalis said.
You then saw her horn glow green, you suddenly fell asleep. While you were asleep, you were having nightmares, at one moment you were being chased by a scary monster, at another, you were drowning. It felt like these nightmares won’t ever stop.
BAM! You woke up to some rumble. They’ve came! Your plan has worked. Then a blast hits the door that was keeping you trapped. It was Cadance.
She came bursting in and blasted the two insect ponies that were guarding you.
“Radiance!”, your mother said and ran to you and gave you a hug.
You hugged her back. She carried you and flew out of the room. You saw a whole army fighting those insect ponies. Chrysalis was defeated. You mother flew you down to the ground as ponies came up to you. Your father ran to you and hugged you. The purple unicorn you finally realized it was Twilight, nuzzled you.
“We are never losing you again”, your father said. Then you were being nuzzled by your parents. You missed their love and warmth.
A few hours later, you were being fed mashed beans, it tasted delicious for you this time. You were gurgling and giggling because you were happy you were safe. Your parents were so happy you were back. But you still wanted to go back to the human world. But for now, you just wanted to relax, after all you just got saved from being kidnapped.
While you were drinking your milk your parents were just watching you. They barely blinked, you guessed they didn’t want to lose you again, but it was getting weird. After you finished your bottle you started to hiccup. Your parents were aweing at you.
After you hiccuped for the second time you disappeared from the bed and appeared on top of your wardrobe closet. Your parents gasped and your mother used her magic to levitate you down to her.
“Her magic is getting powerful, we should do something before we lose her again”, your father said.
As soon as he said that, you hiccuped for the third time and teleported away to another room. The room was dark, but you weren’t freaked out.
No insect pony creature thing was going to get you. You heard they were all locked up in “Tarturus”.
There was a mirror in front of you. You were getting weird vibes from the mirror. You tried to walk with two hooves but you fell down. You forgot you were a horse. So you started to walk with your four hooves to the mirror.
You touched the mirror, your hooves went through the mirror.
You pulled your hoof back and said “What the heck?!”. You were freaked out but at the same time, you were curious, “I wonder what’s on the other side”, you thought.
What should you do?

You heard the door open and turned around. It was your parents.
“There you are!”, Cadance said in relieved.
Then Shining Armor put some kind of ring on your horn.
“I’m sorry sunshine, we are doing this because we love you”, Shining Armor said as he kissed you on the forehead.
They carried you to your room and put you down on your bed.
“Dang it, back to square one”, you thought.
They sang a lullaby as you pretended to go to sleep. After they thought you fell asleep they kissed you on the forehead and left.
You opened your eyes and just stared at the shimmering crystal ceiling.
“This is hopeless, I am never going to get out”, you thought.
Then you heard a hiss.
You looked behind you and saw a shadow at the corner of your room. The creature walked up to you. It was a changeling.
But how? You thought all of them was gone.
You tried to use your magic but it didn't work. It was the ring that was dampening your magic.
“You separated me from my family, so I’ll take you away from yours!”, the changeling said.
He attacked you and everything became black. You died.
The End
You decided to betray Chrysalis
“No!”, you said as you realized your mistake.
“What is it Radiance?”, Shining Armor said.
“The plan! It’s already intact”, you said.
“Plan? What plan?”, Cadance said.
You sighed and said, “Chrysalis’s plan to take over Equestria”.
The couple both gasped.
“We have to stop them”, Shining Armor said.
“No, it’s too late, I bet they have already captured the princesses, it’s all my fault”, you said.
“It is not your fault, you didn’t know. And we will save them, we just need to work together”, Cadance said.
A few hours later, you were back at the changeling hive. You entered into the throne room with two changelings carrying Cadance and Shining Armor. They were both unconscious.
“Good job Radiance, time to put them in the cocoon”, Chrysalis said.
“If you don’t mind waiting, I want to talk to my parents. The parents that left me”, you said.
“Oh, so you figured out these benevolent fools are your parents.”, Chrysalis said.
“Yes my Queen, they said they never left me, and said that you were the one that took me but, I didn’t believe it for a second”, you said.
“Well then, I’ll leave you three alone”, Chrysalis said as she walked away with the other two changelings.
After they left you said, “They’re gone”.
Then Shining Armor and Cadance got up. They weren’t really unconscious, they were just faking it.
“So where are they?”, Shining Armor asked as he looked around.
You looked and pointed up. Everyone was in a green cocoon, sticking on the wall, some were awake, others were asleep.
Cadance flew up and removed the cocoons of the wall one by one. While you and Shining Armor break them free.
“The princesses?”, Cadance asked.
“Check”, you said.
“The Mane Six?”, Cadance asked.
“Check”, Shining Armor said as he helped Twilight up.
“Discord?”, Cadance asked.
“Check”, you said as you wondered how the changeling caught the King of Chaos.
“And Starlight And Spike?”, Cadance asked.
“Check”, Twilight said as she helped Starlight up.
Twilight looked up to you. “Radiance? Is that really you?”, Twilight asked you.
“It sure is Twily”, Shining Armor said as she walked up to you.
Twilight hugged you. And you hugged her back. Even though you didn’t know her that much, you missed her.
Then you heard hisses, it was coming behind you. Everyone looked like they were ready to attack. You turned yourself to see who it was. It was Thorax. The only nice changeling in the whole hive. He left the hive a few months ago. You noticed his wings were different, it was sparkling.
“It’s okay everyone, it’s Thorax”, Spike said as walked to him.
“What do we have here?”, Chrysalis said. You saw the whole swarm behind her.
Cadance and Shining Armor walked in front of you and said, “You are never going to separate us again”.
“Oh please, you are outnumbered”, Chrysalis said. “And you!”, Chrysalis yelled and pounced on you. “I gave you a home! I treated you like you were my own daughter! How could you do this?”, Chrysalis said in anger.
“You were never my mother to begin with”, you said and used your magic and blasted her, far far away.
"Wow, didn't expect the to happen", you thought.
The changelings were about to attack until Thorax stepped in.
“All of you stop. You all don’t have to starve anymore, I know a new way to stop us all from hunger and we don’t need Chrysalis’s leadership to do so. Instead of taking love, share it and you will not starve no more”, Thorax said to the changelings.
“He’s lying!”, a changeling said.
The swarm of changelings started murmuring.
Then you had an idea, an idea to prove Thorax is right.
You walked up beside Thorax and said, “If you don’t him, he’ll prove it to you”.
Thorax looked at you and said, ”How?”.
“Share it”, you said.
At that moment Thorax knew what to do. He shared his love to some of the changelings and then something happened. Thorax was glowing and was starting to be lifted up. Then he turned into a chrysalis. You slowly touched the chrysalis and it started glowing bright. You opened the your eyes when the flash was gone and you looked at Thorax.
He looked different. He was taller and colorful.
You the looked at swarm and said, “See now?”. “See now? Was that the best you could come up with?”, you thought.
The demonstration worked, the changelings were starting to share love.
After cleaning up you and everypony went to Ponyville. They had a party to celebrate you defeating Chrysalis and Thorax, becoming the new leader of the changelings.
You went to the washroom to clean up. When you walked in, a portal appears out of nowhere. You believe that’s the portal to home. But then again, Equestria is your home.

“What’s the occasion?”, your father asked. Your mother lightly hit him as he chuckles.
“What? Don’t you like my free hugs?”, you said. Your parents both smiled.
Your Aunt Twilight walked to you and said, “I missed you Radiance, we all did. And even though we missed a part of your life, we are all proud of you became.”
You teared up from the short speech she gave you.
You hugged her and said, “I’m happy that I’m finally home”. And the four of you share a group hug.

You decided to wait for your tutor
A few minutes later, you heard a knock.
“Come in”, you said as you got up from your bed. It was your tutor.
She was a blue crystal pony, with white mane and tail. Both her mane and tail were in a bun. She wears tiny red glasses. It was Madame Prestige. Madame Prestige teaches you how t be a proper princess.
She started to teach you at age fourteen. You thought it was going to be easy, you thought she was only going to teach you for a couple of days. But no, you were wrong, it’s now been two years since you had her, it was like her lessons were never going to end. You figured out by then it wasn’t just etiquette classes, it was to teach you how to be a ruler. You thought your mother was going to teach you but, you were wrong.
“I’m sorry I’m late your highness”, Madam Prestige said.
“Sorry?”, you thought. Madame Prestige would never say “sorry”, she would say “apologize”.
“It’s fine Madam Prestige”, you said.
“Ready to start your math lessons?”, Madam Prestige asked.
“Math lessons? You don’t teach math.”, you asked.
“Oh forget about it”, Madame Prestige said as she took off her glasses.
“Forget about what? Did I say something wrong?”, you asked, unsure of what was going on.
Then a flash of green blinds you for a second. When you opened them, you saw a tall black insect pony.
“Your an imposter?”, you asked.
“Uh, duh”, the tall black insect pony said in a tone.
Then the creature’s horn started glowing green then BAM! She blasted you. You slammed into the wall and collapsed and everything became black after that.
You woke up and looked around. It was dark, it looked like you were in a dungeon. You walked up to the bars. It seemed like no one was around. You didn’t know what to do. You were locked up your whole life, it’s not like they taught you the art defense. Your mother didn’t let you do magic.
You felt scared, you don’t know what to do. You just wanted to go home. Then you heard someone coming in. He looks like the creature you saw before, but smaller.
“W-what are you going to do with me?”, you asked.
The creature opened the cell and said, “It’s okay, I’m not one of them. I’m Thorax”.
Thorax? You’ve heard of him before, from Uncle Spike. Thorax lives in Ponyville with Spike. He was a changeling.
“Let’s go”, Thorax said. Thorax lead the way as you followed. You both had to be sneaky and go unnoticed as the changelings were walking through.
“We’re almost there”, Thorax whispered. You didn’t know where you were now. You see something that looked like a big throne. You looked around.
Then when you looked up, you saw a green cocoon. You looked at it more closely and you notice, someone is in there.
“Princess!”, Thorax whispered loudly. You turned to Thorax who was at the end of the room.
“Let’s go, before someone catches us”, Thorax said.

“We have to go!”, Thorax said.
“Not until we save the pony up there”, you said as you pointed to the cocoon.
“There’s no time argueing with you, let’s hurry!”, Thorax said as he flew up to the cocoon.
He removed the cocoon and lifted it down to you. You started to break it. After a few seconds, you and Thorax broke the the pony free. The pony is a white stallion, with different shades blue mane and tail. You started to hear him breathe.
“It can’t be”, Thorax said, he looked shocked.
You don’t recognize him but, you feel like you’ve known him once.
“Who is he?”, you asked.
“It’s Shining Armor, your father”, Thorax said. You gasped in realization.
Then you started to hear some buzzing and hissing noise.
“They’re coming!”, Thorax said. You turned around to Shining Armor and saw he was up.
“Let’s go!”, Shining Armor said.
“Father?”, you asked, unsure if it was really him.
He gave you a smile and said, “We can talk later, we need to go”.
You nodded and the three of you ran.
The swarm of changelings were right behind you guys. Once you got outside, you saw the gang. Your mother, the princesses, the Mane Six, and Starlight, they are all there. Only two miles back.
Your father started blasting his magic at the swarm. They were starting to slow down. You ran to your mother and hugged her.
“Are you alright?”, she asked.
You nodded and shed a tear. Then, she looked shocked when she saw your father, everyone was.
“Shining? Is that really you?”, your mother said as she started tearing up.
“It can’t be?”, your Aunt Twilight said as he walked up to Cadance.
“It is Twily”, Shining Armor said.
“We can talk later”, you said as you pointed to the swarm.
You and your friends were surrounded by the swarm. Then, the four alicorns looked at each and nodded. Celestia, Luna, and Cadance walked up and they started to cast a spell, while Twilight stayed back. Their eyes started to glow white.
“Everyone get back!”, Thorax said. Everyone did so.
“What are they doing?”, you asked.
“They are enacting a scared spell”, Twilight answered.
“What will it do?”, you asked.
“It will destroy everything and everyone in the perimeter”, Twilight said.
“What?! Even us?”, you asked.
“The ones who enact the spell will not get into an harm while me, you father, and Starlight will cast a barrier so we’ll be protected.
The swarm started to fly away but it was too late. The spell was enacted, once it did, Twilight, Shining Armor, and Starlight combined their magic to make a barrier to protect the others.
You watched until a flashing light blinded you and the big boom made you close your eyes. Once you opened them, you noticed everything was destroyed. You and your father ran to your mother as the others ran to the other two princesses.
The three were laying on the ground and looked tired.
“We need to get them back to the castle”, Twilight commanded.
A few hours later, all of you were at Twilight’s castle. The three princesses were resting. You and your father were outside of the room your mother was resting.
“Hey, she’s going to be fine, your mother is tough”, your father said.
Then Twilight came out of the room, looked at the both of you and said, “She’ll be fine, she wants to talk to you by the way”.
“Thanks sis”, your father said.
“I’m glad to have you back big brother”, Twilight said, then your aunt and father hugged.
“If you can excuse me, I have to go check in Celestia and Luna”, Twilight said and walked away.
“Ready?”, you asked your father.
Your father nodded and it looked like he was going to cry. Then, you open the doors. At that moment, you felt your family becoming whole again.

You decided to go through the mirror
You walked through the mirror. You get sucked in like the last time.
As you opened your eyes, you see your hands.
“Hands! I’m human again”, you said. But it wasn’t your normal hands, it was baby sized.
You looked at the puddle beside you and saw yourself. You didn’t look like you, you still looked like Radiance but it was just a human form of you.
“Who is this?”, a stranger said as she bended down to you.
She picked you up and took you away. You lived in the adoption center for three months until the human forms of Cadance and Shining Armor adopted you since they couldn’t have a child. But at least you are a human.

And for the rest of your life you kept working for your lazy, alcoholic father and died young.

“Wake up!”, you heard your alcoholic father say.
You thought, “If I’m worthless, what are you? You’ve been spending my earned money on beer”, but you said nothing, he was your dad after all.
You get up and get your uniform and get dressed. “Another day as a trashman”, you thought and ran out of your trailer and ran off to work.
It was now 5 p.m. and you’ve worked over twelve hours. You are starving since you haven’t ate anything since two weeks ago since your father wasted all the money you’ve earned for himself.
As you went to the last trash can, you heard something from it. Then the trash can started shaking. You didn’t know what to do. Either you walk away from it or you walk up to it, what do you do?
You choose to walk up to it and open the lid (Go to 2)

You’ve finally awoken and you started looking around. It was a different room, the last one was at a hospital but this one was different. The room was big, bigger than the last one, heck bigger than the trailer you live in. It was more shinier with many colors.
“Oh it’s a nursery”, you figured.
You tried to move but you couldn’t, you were wrapped with a blanket and couldn’t get out of it.
“Hands would be very useful right now! Stupid hooves”, you said, but as usually, only gurgles came out.
Then the huge doors opens and Cadance walked in.
“Hello sunshine!”, she said. Her voice always seemed to soothe you.
Your stomach started to growl.
“Oh someone’s hungry” she said and she got some mashed beans and a spoon.
She got a spoonful. You knew as she was putting it in your mouth, Cadance was going to regret it. As she put it in your mouth, you puked it out.
“Awww Radiance, you have to eat something, or you’ll get hungry, besides this is good”, Cadance said and she ate a spoonful of mask beans to show you it’s good.
She almost puked it out but played it off like it was good.
But you were hungry so, you ate it.
“Man, I thought I was going to get some good baby food, I am royalty right?”, you thought.
When you were finished getting fed, Cadance patted your back until your burped.
After that, you feel sleepy and everything was black.
It was morning and you just woke up when a servant walked into your room.
She fed you and changed your diaper. Then the royal couple walked into the room.
Shining Armor picked you up and said, “Morning my little Radiance” and booped your nose.
You giggled just to make him happy. Cadance then tickled you.
As you giggled she said, “Visitors are coming and you want to look beautiful for your Royal Crystalling”.
“Royal Crystalling?”, you thought.
Then two big unicorns came into the room.
The tallest was a white one, with a flowy colorful mane, the other was a little shorter and was blue, with a blue sparkling mane.
The servant bowed and walked out of the room. Shining Armor and Cadance bowed to the beautiful unicorns.
“Aunt Celestia, Luna, I didn’t know you’ve would be arriving early”, Cadance said.
“Well we couldn’t wait”, the blue one said.
As you looked at them, you saw the two had mark on their behind. Then you notice your parents also had some strange marks as well. You weren’t really surprised though, after all you’ve been through, marks on ponies behinds weren’t that strange.
“Twilight and her friends are arriving soon Shining, you should pick her up”, Cadance said.
“Of course dear, I bet Radiance wants to see her Aunt Twilight, don’t you sunshine?, Shining Armor said.
“Aunt Twilight?”, you thought.
Shining Armor kissed you on the forehead and left.
Cadance then picked you up and began to swaddle you to sleep.

You decided you wanted to stay here
You didn’t care if you are a horse now, or you’ll have to relive your life as a baby again. You love how you were being treated, no more days as a trashman, instead you will living your life as a princess. You lay back on your comfortable bed and went back to sleep, with no worries.
You heard a door opening as you woke up. It was your mother.
“Did I wake you up Radiance?”, your mother said.
“Yeah you did, but it’s cool” you said, but only came up as gurgles.
Your mother giggled and gave you your baby bottle. You drink the milk as you heard a knock on the door.
“Man, even though the baby food sucks, the milk is delicious”, you thought.
Your mother opened the door and a guard came in.
“Princess Cadance, may I have a word with you?”, the guard said to your mother.
Your mother looked back at you and nuzzled you, “I’ll be back sweetieheart”, she said. She walked outside of the room with the guard.
Cadance didn't entirely closed the door, only a little part of it was open but you can still hear them talking.
“I have bad news your highness”, the guard said.
“Did something happen to Shining Armor? He wasn’t back this morning”, your mother said, starting to sound worried.
You felt worried as well, even though you’ve known him for only two days, he was a better father than the one you originally had.
“I’m sorry”, the guard said.
“He’s dead?”, you thought.
You are now feeling sad and you suddenly cry. Cadance ran in seeing you cry. Suddenly you felt some surge. That surge was lifting everything and everyone up. You are freaked out, you didn’t know what was happening and you cried even more.
“Radiance, I’m here, don’t cry”, your mother said.
Her soothing voice made you calm down. Then the surge you felt was gone and everything and everyone was dropped.
“I could do magic? Cool”, you thought.
While the guard was getting up after being dropped, your mother walked up to you and picked you up.
“Don’t worry my little Radiance, I’ll be here for you. I won’t let anyone hurt you”, your mother said.
Afterwards she swaddled you to sleep.

16 years later . . .
It’s been sixteen years, sixteen years since you became a unicorn. You got used to the pony customs. The Crystal Empire grew dimmer. After the event of what happened to your father, you mother kept you inside the castle. She rarely lets you out of the castle. If she did let you out, your mother would be there with at least three guards surrounding you and your mother.
After the event, your mother became broken, the only thing that kept her in the light, was you. Yes, it may have annoyed you and yes, you felt lonely but, you didn’t mind it. You just wanted to make your mother happy, that why you were so obedient all those years.
You’ve been woken up by a knock on your door. You rubbed your eyes, yawned, and said come in. Your servant, Velvet Rose came in with your breakfast.
She bowed and said, “Good morning m’lady” and gave you your breakfast. “I’ll start your bath your highness”, Rose said and walked to the bathroom.
After you finished eating, you went to the bathroom and went into your bathtub.
Rose Velvet bathed you while you thought about something, “What is the matter your highness?”, Rose Velvet asked.
You looked up at ceiling and said, “Is this daily routine going to be part of the rest of my life?”.
“I don’t know how long you live but it seems like it”, Rose Velvet replied.
After you got out, Rose Velvet dried you off with a towel.
As Rose brushed your hair she said, “Maybe you should talk to her about it princess”.
You sighed and said, “I tried like a million times by now but whenever I try to confront her about it, I look into her eyes and I just change the subject, I don’t know what to do.”
“I’m sorry your highness, but I have to go, we can talk about this tomorrow. Your tutor is going to come in a few minutes”, Rose Velvet said as she bowed to you and walked away.
“Why am I complaining? I am being treated like royalty, well cause I am one. Why should I be complaining? All mom wants is to keep you safe, which means locked inside the castle, pretty much a cliche from some Disney movie.”, you thought.
You want to tell her so badly but at the same time you didn’t. It’s time to make up your mind.
You choose to confront your mother (Go to 7)

You decide to lead the army
“Okay I’ll do it”, you said.
Celestia nodded and said, “Let’s get ready”.
You, Celestia. and the army of soldiers were at the changeling hive. You soon see a swarm of changelings charging at you. You used your magic to blast those changelings away. But more and more swarms were coming your way. You head inside the hive to to fight the changelings inside.
It was like a maze in there. It was like you were going in circles until finally, you found Chrysalis’s throne. You stopped to take a breath and looked around. When you looked up, you saw some kind of green cocoon. Somepony was in it.
You used your magic to levitate the cocoon down to take a closer look at it. It was a white stallion, with different shades of blue hair.
Wait a minute, it’s Shining Armor!
“He’s alive?”, you thought.
You break him out of the cocoon, he was wet with green stuff on him. And then you hear him breathing.
“He’s alive”, you said as you shed a tear.
Then you hear a hiss. You looked behind you and you saw a changeling, it was about to attack you until a blast it the changeling, knocking it down. You didn’t do that. You turned back and Shining Armor, he was awake. He was the one that saved you.
“Radiance? Is that you?”, he said.
“Yes. And are you, Shining Armor?”, you asked, unsure if it was him.
He nodded.
The ponies won the war. They trapped the changelings in Tarturus, only a few soldiers were injured. You and your father were outside of your mother’s chambers.
You looked at him with a smile,
“Ready?”, you asked.
“Ready as I'll ever be”, your father replied. Then, you open the doors.
At that moment, you felt your family becoming whole again.

You decided to side with Chrysalis
When you were about one, you were finally able to talk. You told Chrysalis the truth, she told you if you helped her take over Equestria, she will send you back to your world.
After that, you forgot forgot that Shining Armor and Cadance were your “parents” and thought Chrysalis was the one that found you.
16 Years Later . . .
It’s been sixteen years since you sided with Chrysalis. She trained you in magic and combat. She may have been cruel and strict but she treated you like you were her own daughter. Chrysalis made you her commander.
Today was the day where the changelings take over Equestria. You and your army was assigned to takeover the Crystal Empire.
It was night and you teleported in the castle. You were trying to find Cadance and Shining Armor. You told the other changelings to take out the guards and staff. You hid in the shadows as you were walking through the hallways. You finally found the doors to the throne room. You used your magic and blasted the doors.
And lo and behold, it was Cadance and Shining Armor. But they looked different. They looked broken. Cadance looked dull, than last time you saw her. She was wearing armor. Shining Armor looked dull as well and he has a scar through his eyes.
“Who are you and why are you doing here?”, Cadance said as her horn started glowing.
You put your hood down and Cadance and Shining Armor flinched.
“Radiance?”, Shining Armor said.
You were confused. “How do you know my name?”, you asked.
“No! It must be a trick! It must be a changeling!”, Cadance said in fear.
“Then let’s see”, Shining Armor said and looked at Cadance.
Cadance looked back at him and they both nodded.
You were still confused. “What is going on? Why do these foes know who I am”, you thought.
Cadance then put a spell on you. You were being lifted up.
“What are you doing to me?”, you said struggling to be put down.
Then you started to glow.
“No, it can’t be”, Cadance said.
“It has to to be, if she was a changeling the spell would have turned her back into a changeling”, Shining Armor said.
While you were being lifted down, the two ponies walked to you. You stared at them confuse.
Cadance started to cry and said “My baby is back”, and hugged you.
You backed away.
“What are you talking about?”, you asked.
“Radiance it’s us, we’re your parents”, Shining Armor said as he walked up to you but it only made you back away more.
“Lies! Chrysalis told me my parents left and and Chrysalis took me in”, you said.
“Maybe this will help you remember”, Cadance said as she put another spell on you.
Then you remember. The days where you were with Cadance and Shining Armor were coming back to you. You remember their love and warmth.
The two walked up to you and hugged you. And you embraced it. The love and warmth, it was back.
But as you thought about it, were you going to betray Chrysalis or stay on her side?

“I’m sorry”, you said as you put a spell on the couple. Then they were put to sleep.
The changeling army succeeded. They took over Equestria. You met Chrysalis at Canterlot.
“As I promised, I’ll send you back to your home”, Chrysalis said. Two changelings were carrying a mirror down to you.
“This mirror is suppose to bring me home?”, you asked.
“Yes. I heard of Princess Twilight’s adventures as she went through this mirror. They said in this world, you are not a pony, you would this thing called hands”, Chrysalis said.
“That must be my world!”, you said.
“Then it’s time for you to go home”, Chrysalis said.
You walked up to the mirror and looked back at Chrysalis. She nodded at you as you turned back. You walked through the mirror. It felt like you were being sucked up like the last time.
You opened your eyes, and you saw your hands.
“Hands!”, you said.
You looked around, you didn’t know where you were. You looked at the puddle that was in front of you and you looked at yourself. You still look like Radiance, not the real you.
You tried to go back by walking into the statue but you couldn’t. You just bumped the statue. Little did you know, as soon as you got out of the portal, it closed.The End
You decide to save yourself
Both of you made it out of the hive, you saw your mother, the other princesses, the Mane Six, and Starlight there.
“Mother!”, you said, and ran to her and hugged her.
“I’m sorry I’ve been so cold to you, Radiance.”, your mother said as she was in tears.
“It’s okay mother, I’m just glad I’m free”, you said.
Then you see the swarm of changelings come to you.
“Well well well, why am I not surprised”, the tall one said.
“How dare you try to take away my daughter Chrysalis”, Cadance said in anger.
Chrysalis? You’ve heard her name before.
“Oh please, save me your lectures for later”, Chrysalis said.
Then, the four alicorns looked at each and nodded. Celestia, Luna, and Cadance walked up and they started to cast a spell, while Twilight stayed back. Their eyes started to glow white.
“Everyone get back!”, Thorax said. Everyone did so.
“What are they doing?”, you asked.
“They are enacting a scared spell”, Twilight answered.
“What will it do?”, you asked.
“It will destroy everything and everyone in the perimeter”, Twilight said.
“What?! Even us?”, you asked.
“The ones who enact the spell will not get into an harm while me and Starlight will cast a barrier so we’ll be protected”, Twilight said.
The swarm started to fly away but it was too late. The spell was enacted, once it did, Twilight and Starlight combined their magic to make a barrier to protect the others.
You watched until a flashing light blinded you and the big boom made you close your eyes. Once you opened them, you noticed everything was destroyed. You ran to your mother as the others ran to the other two princesses.
The three were laying on the ground and looked tired.
“We need to get them back to the castle”, Twilight commanded.
A few hours later, all of you were at Twilight’s castle. The three princesses were resting. You were pacing back and forth outside of the room your mother was resting until Twilight came out.
“She’ll be fine, she wants to talk to you by the way”, Twilight said as she lifted your chin up.
“Thank you Aunt Twilight”, you said and walked into the room.
“My Radiance”, Cadance said in the sweet voice you loved once ago.
At that moment you felt that things were going to change, but those changes were going to feel right. But you knew, you were going to feel the love and warmth again.

You decided to go back to the human world
You walked through the portal. You opened your eyes, you see you were in your bed. But you weren't on your bed, it felt more comfortable.
You looked at yourself. You see you have hands. This is you! You looked around,
“This isn’t a trailer”, you thought. The room you were at was bigger.
Then you hear the doors open, it was your father. But he didn’t look wasted or drunk, he looked clean. He was wearing a silk robe.
“You’re finally awake”, your father said.
You must be in some kind of different universe, but you liked it. You were you, your dad is here and not drunk, and it looks like you are living in a mansion.
Welp, whatever universe you are in now, you have to get use to it.

You decided not to lead the army
“I’m sorry Princess Celestia but I can’t”, you said.
“It is fine”, Celestia said. “I must get ready to go to the changeling hive”, Celestia said.
“I’m sorry Princess”, you said.
“It is alright Radiance, you defeating Chrysalis was enough”, Celestia said and walked away.
Celestia lead the armies. It was a scarce. Guards got confused on who was who since the changelings could change into them. It seemed like the changelings were winning until Celestia casted a spell. This spell was sacred and destroyed everyone who was in range of the changeling hive. It was her last line of defense so she had to use it. All the changelings were destroyed. Sadly many ponies were destroyed as well.
Moving forward, you were finally free. Your mother was least protective of you, you were allowed to go outside, allowed to do magic. You and your mother started to bond more. The Crystal Empire started to glow again, everything is right as rain again.The End
