After receiving a letter from a noble named Charlie Roan, Princess Twilight Sparkle and Prince Shinning Armor make their way to Manehattan to meet up with their contractor to help abolish the purge. However, before doing so, they need to face not just the NFFE, but also their ally Queen Chrysalis and her Changeling Rebels, as well as rescuing the Royal Sisters and Princess Cadence from getting purged and protecting Charlie Roan from them with Leo's help.

Meanwhile, the Mane 5 discover that a group of militia ponies lead by Bishop are plotting to rebel against the NFFE to save Equestria from suffering under the hooves of the purge. On the 4th Annual Purge, can Twilight and the Mane 5 save the Royal Sisters and Princess Cadence and expose NFFE's True Colors behind their evil scheming or will the NFFE doom all of Equestria when they enact the purge worldwide.
