Tracked Her Down
Chapter I
Load Full StoryNext ChapterIt was another bright and sunny day in the land of Equestria.
A train pulled up to the Ponyville Station.
Steam hissed from the old-timey locomotive as ponies filed in or out of the cars.
One nervous young stallion stepped down, his hooves quaking with excitement as he trotted up to the information booth.
He was an earth pony of average height. He had an indigo fur coat with a blond tail and mane. His cutie mark was three horseshoes and a five-point star. The same mark adorned his saddlebags from which he pulled out a big map.
“Excuse me?” he spoke up, sounding a little like a colt who’d just broke puberty.
The bored-looking mare at the booth didn’t even look up, “Yes… how may I help you today?”
“Could you please tell me how I can get to the Castle of Friendship from here, Madam?” he spoke with confidence, even though inside his young heart was beating like mad. He’d taken a big risk coming all the way here, just to see her again, his favorite princess. He even realized how creepy and stalker-y it would seem, that a simple colt like him would just show up out of the blue.
The mare, who’d preoccupied herself with a crossword puzzle in the newspaper, looked up at the young stallion with the quavering voice. She rolled her eyes then pointed with one hoof, “It’s that big gaudy thing over there, ya can’t miss it.”
He looked where she’d pointed and his blue eyes lit up with stars, “Oh my! I’m here!” He trotted happily in place, “I’m about to see Princess Twilight again!” He galloped away shouting “Thank you!”
The mare just sighed then turned her attention back to her paper, “Bucking tourists…”
…
Meanwhile, at the Castle of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle yawned cutely as she rolled out of bed with all the grace of a lazy teenager.
The lavender alicorn shook herself like a dog to get all the sleepiness out of her body. It was the start of another day, and Twilight was looking forward to a full day of… she didn’t know yet, but it was going to be something good.
She stretched out her wings and moaned with delight as she popped a few tight joints. Twilight saw herself in her vanity mirror, the glorious bedmane she’d developed overnight. She giggled as she could imagine what her friend Rarity would say.
“Egads! This is a disaster! That mane, those split ends, have mercy!” Her imagined Rarity fainted out of existence and Twilight shook her head.
Twilight went about her morning routine, humming We’re Not Perfect to herself as she worked.
Sometime later, her mane was combed, her tail brushed, her wings maintained and a perfectly pristine and hygienic princess made her way to the castle kitchen.
Already, the smell of something baking caught her attention.
Spike must have gotten up early to make breakfast. Good for him, and for her too because she was starving.
What Twilight came to find however…
Starlight was in the process of mixing batter by hoof in a big bowl. She perked up, “Oh! Good morning, Twilight! I hope you don’t mind, but I figured I ought to make breakfast this time.”
Spike shrugged, “She insisted, Twilight.”
Star blushed, “I just felt like doing something nice this morning.”
Twilight giggled, “Starlight, you know you don’t have to do anything to prove yourself to me.”
“That is what I said!” said a fourth voice from the far end of the kitchen.
There was Trixie, sitting her cute butt up on the kitchen counter, juggling teacups with her magic, “I mean, you’re Princess Twilight, the Sovereign of Friendship, the Mistress of all Gushy Good Feelings-”
A strawberry magically stuffed in her mouth made her stop talking for a moment.
She ate it then gave a ladylike burp, “and so generous too.” She covered her muzzle with a hoof as she giggled with playful mirth.
Twilight shook her head while a smile betrayed how much she’d come to enjoy Trixie’s presence since she’d been visiting more often.
She turned back to Starlight, “Anyway, what are we making?”
Starlight levitated a cookbook to show Twilight, “I’m just trying a new recipe.”
Twi smiled, “It looks nice, but are you sure you can make this?”
Star shrugged, “Who knows! I’ll never know if I don’t try right? Besides, baking is very therapeutic for me. All the steps that go into it, it really helps to keep me focused.”
Twilight clicked her tongue in sympathy, “Oh yes, that it does. Well, I hope everything comes out right. I’d love to taste it.”
Trixie popped up between the two suddenly, “I would love that too, Starlight.”
Both Twi and Star jumped back after she came in between them.
Trixie snorted, “You two are so easy.” She started laughing while the other two just stared at her like she was a crazy pony.
Twilight laughed, “Never a dull morning.”
…
Star Tracker looked at all the ponies he walked by as he trotted confidently through Ponyville. His eyes lit up when he recognized one of Princess Twilight’s friends trotting, no bouncing, in his direction.
Eager to meet a new friend he watched as the bubbly, pink, cotton candy pony stopped in mid-air upon seeing him then floated to the ground as her bright blue eyes focused on his.
Star Tracker’s ears drooped back as nervousness struck him, “Um, he-hello?”
Suddenly, she gasped, “Oh my gosh!” Then she rushed off, nearly bowling him over.
Track fought to maintain his balance, his mane in a shamble by the gust of her sudden departure. He rubbed a hoof through his mane in an attempt to fix it, “Huh? Was it that bad?”
He shrugged off that encounter then kept going. He really had no idea who, if anypony, he could really talk to. This was one of the princesses, it wasn’t like he could just walk up to her front door and knock.
Track had been so lost in his thoughts, he hadn’t been watching where he was going.
There was a light ladylike “Oof!” as he bumped into none other than Ponyville’s top fashionista, Rarity.
She herself had had a light breakfast at her favorite café, wearing her favorite scarf. She had just gotten up to leave when this young fool ran right into her.
Her pupils shrank and she cried out, “My scarf!” as her pink winter scarf unwound then flew off. She watched in abject horror as the precious garment fluttered towards the ground.
Without thinking, Star Tracker shouted, “Don’t worry, Lady! I’ve got it!”
Showing his innate earth pony agility, Track dove for the scarf, catching the garment on his blond mane before faceplanting in the dirt. He stretched out his right front hoof to catch the scarf as it fell off his head.
He looked up, his face mussed up with dirt, at the lovely white unicorn who stood over him. “Ta-da…” he said weakly before dropping his face back in the dirt.
Rarity picked up her scarf with her magic, her eyes stuck on the gallant young stallion who had selflessly sacrificed his own precious indigo coat to save her scarf. She put her scarf away in her saddlebag before addressing him, “Thank you for saving my scarf… are you new in Ponyville, darling?”
Tracker brushed the dirt from his cheek as he got back to his hooves, “Uh, yeah, er, yes, I am. My name is Star Tracker.” He suddenly realized who he was talking to, “Oh… and you’re Rarity, aren’t you? The famous fashionista?”
That gave quite the boost to her ego. Rarity smiled, “Why yes, I am her, that is I am, Miss Rarity.” She threw a dramatic pose and she fluttered her long eyelashes at him, “And it is a fine pleasure to meet you, Mr. Star Tracker.”
He blushed hard when she gave him those eyes, “Wow… of all the ponies I could meet in Ponyville. I-I” He stammered until a soft white hoof poked him right on his muzzle.
“Hush.” Her eyes aflutter, she took her hoof from his face, “I am just a pony like anyone else. It should be no harder to talk to me than if I were a schoolmate.”
He had caught the scent of her perfume when she’d touched him with her hoof, “I know, I know… it’s just… I don’t get out that much.”
Rarity smiled sweetly, “Tell you what, how about I treat you to a nice cup of tea? My boutique is just a mere walk from where we are. We could chat more. I have time to kill.”
He wanted to refuse, he didn’t want to impose, but something in him compelled this young stallion to follow this lovely mare.
…
Sip!
Star Tracker drank the fresh raspberry tea that Rarity had made for him. He held the intricate little cup with the navy-blue swirls like the curls in her mane. He had no magic, so he had to hold it carefully between his front two hooves. It was better than just drinking out of it like a cat.
“So then, you’re here all the way from Baltimare, just to see Twilight?”
Tracker put the cup down, “Y-yes, that’s the whole reason behind the trip. I saved a lot just for the train ride here… I-I didn’t even think on what I would even do when I got here. I mean, the last time we met, I know I kinda creeped her out but, I was just so excited!”
Rarity giggled, “Yes, I’m sure you were. I’d actually heard from Twilight about her zeppelin trip with her family.” She scoffed, “That silly brute Iron Will… But, I can imagine, getting to spend an entire day with your idol, hmm?”
Track nodded, “Oh, oh yes, it was the best thing… I mean, I even got to play bingo with her dad! I, uh, I guess you can say I… I’ve got kind of a big crush on her. That was only one day but still… it was the best day of my life.” He blushed, “N-not that it hasn’t been great getting to meet you.”
Rarity tittered softly, “Oh, fret not about my feelings. I find you quite precious really, and you can take it from me, I know all about crushes. If it were me, I would find it quite flattering to think somepony would come this far just to see me.”
Track tapped his two front hooves together as a deep blush filled the gap between his eyes, “So you don’t think it a little, uh, creepy? I mean, I just hopped the first train I could get here… I didn’t even give my parents a proper goodbye.”
Rarity shrugged, “A little bit creepy? Not at all. The heart often leads us where our conscience would normally stop us. I know I’d done a few rash things to impress a crush like… impersonate a farm pony.” She blushed as that memory came back to her. “Hmm,” she took a sip of her own tea, “did you say you lived with your parents?”
Tracker blushed, “Yeah… I’m in the process of trying to find myself a place of my own but, Mom insisted I stay until then. This is the farthest I’ve ever been from home. I’m still kinda struggling with what I’d like to do… I’ve got this cutie mark, still don’t quite know what I’m gonna do about it, though.”
Rarity tapped her muzzle in thought, “Mmm, I know that feeling. But then, I knew right away what I wanted, even before I had my cutie mark. I’d always seen a future in couture.”
Tracker nodded, “I can see that. You clearly have this passion for fashion,” he chuckled, “I can see that in just the dresses I saw out in your store.”
Rarity had finished her cup, “Hmm, Star Tracker…”
He looked at her, “Yes, Ms. Rarity?”
She smiled, “Would you like for me to help you? In meeting with Twilight, that is. Truthfully, if you really wanted to see her, you could just go right to the castle. She is a princess, but she is still just another pony and her status should not change how you feel.”
Tracker gulped, “I wanted to… I wanted to just go right up to the castle, but I’m scared she’ll just think I’m some creepy stalker.”
“She may think that, yes, but, your situation is not hopeless.” Rarity scooted herself a little closer to him, on the couch the two had been sitting on. A thought came to her mind, “I would like to ask you something, Star Tracker. You don’t have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable but…”
He looked at Rarity, blushing as he realized how close she was.
“Have you ever kissed a mare, Track?”
His throat suddenly felt dry, “What?”
She smiled, “It’s a simple question. A… traveled mare like myself knows that any stallion who would cross miles just to see one mare is not just looking for a simple conversation.” She twirled a hoof at him, “I’m not judging you, I find it quite bold really that you would come this far. So, have you?”
He gulped then shook his head, “No… it’s sometimes hard for me to even talk to a pretty mare.”
She leaned in so her mane brushed his coat, “You’re doing a fine job with me, though.”
He leaned back, “Well, it’s j-j-just that y-y-you’re so easy to talk to. You’re so nice, so-”
“Pretty?” She fluttered her eyelashes at him.
He gulped again then nodded, “Yes, you are… very pretty.”
She put her head on his chest and she could practically smell the purity from him. Something just fascinated her about cute virgins like him. She wanted to help him, really help him. She brushed a hoof through his soft fur.
Tracker’s heart raced as sweat poured down his face, “Um…” She was getting quite the reaction from him, one he was sure she would soon notice.
Rarity did notice, but she ignored it for now. There were proper steps to take and she didn’t want to scare him. She pulled herself up on her front hooves then looked right in his eyes, “Star, would you kiss me?”
His heart about stopped there, “Um! What?”
She kept her gaze on him, “If I asked you to, would you kiss me?” She truly wanted to help him.
He gulped a third time, “I… I guess I would. I would k-k-kiss you.”
She leaned in, “Kiss me.”
His heart skipped a beat, “Um… that wasn’t asking.”
Rarity cleared her throat, “Will you kiss me, please?” She smiled showing her shiny teeth to him.
Tracker braced himself. He was waiting for her to say something, like she was just joking or testing him or anything. But there was no joking in her tone, her posture, he could tell, though he’d only known her for a short time, he could see she was serious.
Rarity was patient, though she thought a light tease would help him along, “I am waiting…” She said with a playful tone.
Swallowing his pride, Tracker leaned in, shivering as he got closer, as he could feel her breath, smell her perfume, then…
Their lips touched.
It was simple, sweet, none of that wild tongue lashing like he’d read in his mom’s trashy novels. He had her lips and he could smell her natural perfume behind what she wore right now. She smelled as desirable as she looked, as she carried herself.
Rarity pressed back, brushing her hoof against his side as their kiss ended.
Tracker pulled away, “Wow… that’s…”
She giggled as a light blush had painted her snowy cheeks, “That was pleasant. Any filly would thrill for that kind of a kiss.” She calmed herself down before looking at him again, “Now…”
“Now?” He waited to see where his day would go from here.
“Now, would you like for me to kiss you?” She booped his nose with her hoof.
It tickled appropriately and made him chuckle, lightening the mood in the room for him.
Tracker gulped a fourth time, licking his lips before he answered, “Yes, please.”
Rarity smiled, then went in for the kill, her lips grabbing his in a firm yet gentle embrace.
The force in her kiss surprised Track, then he felt the tickle of her tongue. There was that tongue stuff.
Tentatively, Tracker opened his lips and let her taste first his teeth, they were clean, he’d always made double sure of that, second his mouth.
She raised a hoof to his cheek and she gently guided the inexperienced young stallion while her tongue slid against his own.
He put his right hoof around her waist as his first real kiss proceeded.
Rarity didn’t attack his tongue, she gently caressed it with her own, letting him taste her as she tasted him.
Their lips smacked gently while their kiss persisted.
Their lips separated so he could catch his breath. Their tongues still touched.
She wrapped her lips around the tongue, sucked on it before re-entering this lovely kiss with this sweet, young stallion.
That little reaction of his was now not so little. It would be impossible for Rarity not to notice.
Still she kept the kiss going, even as she could see the fruits of her labor out of the corner of her eye.
She rubbed his chest and his belly with her hoof while their kiss grew in passion.
Now she had him licking the roof of her mouth, her tongue, drinking her saliva, still tasting of the tea she’d just had.
She slid herself closer, fully aware of how their lower bodies were almost touching now.
Her rubbing slowly progressed further down his young body until…
He whimpered perfectly in their kiss.
Rarity broke the kiss, “Oh my…” but did not break eye contact, “is this for me?”
Tracker shuddered under her soft touch. He couldn’t have even dreamed of something like this happening. He sat there, his muzzle inches from hers while she stroked his… Emboldened, he initiated another kiss with the sultry mare.
She purred delightfully as the wild mustang in him took control and she let him slip his tongue into her mouth, let his tongue lash hers while her hoof glided back and forth over his…
“Rarity, I’m home!”
Rarity’s eyes shot open as her filly sister’s voice rang through. She pushed Tracker as she panicked.
“Whoa!” He yelped as that beautiful moment was suddenly shattered.
Little hoofsteps were heard.
There was a little gasp, “Oh, for the love of Celestia!” Sweetie shouted, “Can I have one day where I don’t come back and see some stallion’s dong?” The unicorn filly was blushing as she covered her eyes having seen too much of her sister’s guest.
Rarity stammered, “S-s-sweetie Belle, dearie, this isn’t what it looks like.”
Sweetie rolled her eyes, “Oh so you were not sucking a stallion’s face? I see.” The rambunctious little filly gave an indignant grunt, “Hmmph!” then trotted upstairs to her room.
Rarity blushed heavily as she looked back at Star Tracker.
“This is just like Thunderlane! I bucking swear!” Then there was a slam as Sweetie Belle presumably went into her room to vent.
Star Tracker’s excitement went down after that. He looked at Rarity.
Rarity smiled, “I suppose… those last moments were, um, moving too fast… and perhaps we should have chosen somewhere more private but…” She cleared her throat, “That was a very nice kiss, followed by two outstandingly breathtaking ones. Whichever mare is saddled with you, dearie… my praise goes to you for the beautiful nights you are sure to bring her.” She tittered delightfully, “But, I suppose now would be a good time for us to get some fresh air.”
He nodded, “Yeah, sure, that would be nice but, what about…”
She waved a hoof at him, “Oh, don’t fret about Sweetie. She’s a moody little filly, I should know; I was one too.” She giggled, “She’ll get over it then be back in a good mood.” Rarity got up, “We could go to Sugarcube Corner. She always cheers up after a treat from there.”
Tracker got up after her, “Sure… um, you lead the way.”
She giggled, “Oh, you just want to stare at my flank.” She playfully waved her curly purple tail at him.
He snickered, “That’s a possibility.”
The two of them left together.
The boutique was quiet for a moment after that until Sweetie came out of her room to peer down at the lower floor. She sighed, “Thank Celestia, they’re both gone!”
She trotted back downstairs to get to the back door.
She looked both ways before whispering, “Okay, the coast is clear!”
A brown colt came in, “Finally! Was your sister havin’ another one of her stallions over or somethin’?”
Sweetie rolled her eyes, “Of course… come on, Button!”
Button Mash whispered a triumphant “Yes!” to himself before following his filly-friend inside.
