Chapter 1: The Mysterious Phone Call
Author's Note
Hey there! New author here who's decided to take the plunge and post the first chapter of my first ever seriously written story with my own personal twist thrown in containing the odd 4th wall break or references to both MLP and non-MLP related things, events or characters in order to get some feedback. Despite the fact that I've checked this story over several times, I can almost guarantee there will still be some parts that don't make sense or are generally weird, plot holes, clichés and a cheesy storyline, so brace yourself. If you decide to leave a constructive comment telling me how I'm doing (good or bad), then I will be very grateful.
I hope you have as much fun reading it as I did writing it, and please feel free to let me know what you think of how I'm doing!

Chapter 1: The Mysterious Phone Call
It was a quiet and tranquil evening for Rainbow Dash in her home in Cloudsdale. After slipping into her pyjamas, she was taking her time to wind down after an action-packed day with some quiet time to herself in her room. Most of her day was spent doing some flight training alongside the Wonderbolts early in the morning, and after that, she spent the afternoon with her close friend Twilight in Ponyville.
She still remembered vaguely of the first time they met; it was a somewhat awkward encounter as Rainbow let her slightly cocky personality get in the way. However, as they got to know each other, the bond between them grew in strength and they now have a solid friendship with each other. Rainbow was sitting on the edge of her bed, but then threw herself backwards to lie on her back as she continued to reflect on how her week had been going so far. Earlier that week, she had managed to get Soarin’s number, the day after that she went out to lunch and had a friendly chat with Fluttershy, though the one thing she’d enjoyed the most so far was the heart-to-heart conversation she had with Twilight. Rainbow couldn’t wait for the weekend as she had planned a big night out with all the mares; Twi, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie, and even AJ.
Recently, she wasn’t too keen on Applejack though, as whenever they were alone together, AJ would often flirt and drop extremely subtle hints that she was probably interested in being more than just friends. At first, Rainbow was flattered and thought it was sweet, but as time went on, she reckoned that AJ possibly was doing it as some sort of dare or joke. It was highly unlikely that if she was indeed doing it for a laugh that she would have continued for as long as she did. Still, Rainbow knew that she had been wrong before, and was well aware of the fact that Applejack found it very amusing to mess with her head.
'I'll just have to get her back then... eventually,' she thought to herself. Rainbow took a moment to ponder about any potential motives that AJ could have had for her advancements and came to the conclusion that it was just tongue-in-cheek humour done somewhat badly. Despite this, she got on reasonably well with AJ otherwise, so she shrugged it off and reached for her bed covers so she could tuck herself in. She closed her eyes and her mind began to wander, until all of a sudden she thought about Soarin again. Her face started to feel quite warm, at which point she was aware that she was blushing over the thought and softly chuckled to herself over it.
Just as she was about to drift off, her phone began to ring which caused her to snap out of her sleepy state, slightly annoyed. “Damn it! I forgot to put the fucking thing on silent…” she mumbled angrily to herself as she rolled over and reached for her bedside table to grab the phone and promptly answered it. “Hello...?” Rainbow answered, seemingly still very confused about who was calling her at 10pm, as all of her friends know she’s an early bird who likes to go to bed early and get up early. It was a number she didn’t recognise, but she picked it up possibly thinking it was Fluttershy as she had recently changed her number but forgot to tell her what her new number was.
“Hey, beautiful. I know you don’t know who I am but please don’t freak out. Let me exp-” It was a deep, raspy voice that was on the other end but at this point, Rainbow started to freak out and cut him off.
“Who the fuck are you! Why are you calling m-” Rainbow screamed, only to be interrupted herself by the mysterious being on the other side of the call frantically trying to pacify and cool down the situation.
“Hey hey hey, calm down, sweetheart, alright?” the voice replied, in an attempt to get her to relax. Rainbow was extremely anxious; clenching her phone in one hand, the other tense and still, and was about to hang up and throw her phone across the room. However, after hearing his voice again, she started to ease up a little, although she had no idea why. There was an awkward silence, but there was something about this guy’s voice that she really liked yet couldn’t explain, and she still felt uneasy. She slowly dropped her fist, laid back on her bed once again, took a deep breath and let out a hesitant response.
“O-okay then, fine,” Rainbow stuttered. “W-what is it that you want? I’m listening.”
“Alright, listen; I’m aware this is very odd and spontaneous, but I promise this will be worth your while, Ms. Dash. The name’s Marnol, and I know you. As bizarre as this is, the only thing I want to do is to help you, ease your mind, and make you feel good because deep down I know that you’re quite stressed about a few things in your life, and not everything that you come across is what it might initially seem.”
At this point, Rainbow is confused, fascinated and scared all at the same time. How does Marnol know her name, and how much does he know about her? She starts twirling her silky smooth hair around one of her fingers and lets out a nervous laugh. “I’ll admit; it’s nice to hear that you have good intentions, and I think your voice is pretty cool, but I don’t know why you happen to know my name and I don’t have any real reason to trust you. If you somehow got my number off one of my friends and are trying to sweet talk me, you’re gonna have to do better than that.”
“Is that a challenge?” Another awkward silence ensues.
“No it's not, you weirdo.”
“I’m going to accept it anyway; all I want right now is two minutes of your time…”
Rainbow rolls her eyes, lets out a loud and frustrated sigh, and gives a very sarcastic response. “Fine, I’m in a somewhat good mood today; go ahead and take your 120 seconds of glory if it means so much to you.”
“Well, you see, I know that you’re really digging Soarin’ right now, aren’t ya?” Marnol lets out a chuckle to tease Rainbow a little, but she immediately denies it.
“No I’m not!” Rainbow remarked; her heart started racing and she nervously bit her bottom lip as she contemplated what else Marnol knew about her even though they’ve never met.
“No point denying it, I'm already aware. I know that you’d love being able to cuddle up, give him a big, sloppy kiss on the lips and tell him how much you fancy him!” Marnol at this point is laughing and Rainbow feels herself blushing even harder than she did before, and mumbled her response.
“Uhh... yeah, well… kinda… I do want to do that to him but how do you know and why are you bringing this up?”
Marnol took a deep breath and sighed before he continued. “Alright, I’ll stop it with the teasing because now it’s time to get serious,” Marnol replied with a completely different tone of voice that almost sounded angry. Rainbow decided to listen attentively this time as she had a feeling that what was going to be said next would be very important. “As much as you may like him, if you listen to only one thing I say, then my advice is that you’ll be doing yourself a favour if you stay away from him as he’s a mare-beater. He’s abused all of his previous marefriends, one of them you may or may not know or heard of before and I’m sure you don’t want that. I’m well aware you have no real reason to trust me but the last thing I want is to see you hurt.” Just from listening to the sincerity in his voice, Rainbow knew that Marnol probably actually cared about her, but she still didn’t trust him. “I can’t force you to listen, but honesty is all I have to offer. Speaking of honesty, let me lighten up the mood a little bit and say I would be lying if I said I wasn’t interested in you in the same way you’re interested in him. Unlike Soarin’ though, I know how to treat a lady right. Just putting that on the table.”
At this point, all Rainbow wanted to do was get this phone call over and done with. She did feel that Marnol’s warning was somewhat credible, but she still refused to believe it. In her mind, there was no way that Soarin’ could possibly be like that; he was too sweet and kind to her for that to be true. After a brief silence, she says, “I appreciate your honesty, but if I’m honest you kinda have a really creepy vibe going on here, and you’re definitely not going to get to my heart because of it, as much as you’d want to.”
“I respect that and I can understand; you can’t blame me for trying though, but I’m dead serious about Soarin’. If you want to try and get with him anyway, I can’t guarantee I’ll be there to save you if shit hits the fan.”
“Pfff… whatever. Get lost, loser!”
Rainbow hangs up after letting out a loud, frustrated groan and goes to sleep after putting her phone on silent, ensuring that her sleep will not be disturbed again.
Three weeks have passed since Rainbow Dash talked to Marnol over the phone, and now Rainbow is getting ready for her first date with Soarin; she was over the moon from the fact that he said yes and she couldn’t possibly have been more excited. It was around 5 o'clock in the evening when Rainbow skipped happily into her bedroom and opened her wardrobe, deciding what to wear as well as doing her hair and makeup. She opted to wear her hair slightly wavy instead of her usual straight and spiky style, and a touch of purple eyeshadow to partially match her pink eyes, and was shuffling through her wardrobe to find something suitable to wear. She picked out a red blouse and a black skirt. At the back of her mind, Rainbow was wondering why Soarin’ decided to go quite formal for the first date but she eventually shrugged it off.
Later that evening, they will be visiting the biggest restaurant in Ponyville but Rainbow easily would have preferred something more casual; a night out to a movie, or even just chilling out at her place with some pizza and video games. Both of them liked playing games in their free time after all, and the more Rainbow thought about it, the more she started to question why. Why is Soarin’ going all out on the first date? Is he desperate to make a really good first impression? Does he have some sort of motive? By the time Rainbow had finished getting ready, it was 5:45pm. The date was at 6:15pm, so she immediately set out to be on her way to arrive on time.
She arrived at the entrance at 6:10pm, and spotted Soarin arriving too, wearing a dark navy suit with a cobalt blue tie, and a black and silver watch on his left wrist. She rushed over to say hello, flung her arms wide and gave him a hug. “Hey, how are you?” Rainbow squealed, fluttering her wings in excitement.
“Seems like somepony’s happy to see me,” Soarin’ chuckled, embracing the hug. “I’m doing fine, dear. I just hope you’re excited as I am.”
“Of course! Why wouldn’t I be?”
Soarin shrugged his shoulders. “I dunno, anyone who wouldn’t be excited being in your position right now clearly wouldn’t appreciate anything. It’s not every day that I’d take a mare here, so I hope that you’re grateful.”
“I guess that’s true, and yes; I am grateful!” Rainbow giggles and points towards the door. “Shall we head inside?”
“Why not?”
Both of them head inside and get themselves seated. Immediately after Rainbow sat down, she got a text from the same number she had a call from previously a few weeks prior; it was Marnol. The text read:
'Looking at the reserve list of members that restaurant is expecting tonight, I see you’ve decided to ignore my warning. Don’t worry, I’m not outside stalking you because I respect the fact you don’t particularly like me and need your space. That truly would be creepy. But if you see your stallion try anything funny, you better watch your back and get out of there. He only wants you for your body.'
While reading the text, Rainbow Dash was visibly worried and started to look around her as well as listening carefully for anything even remotely suspicious. All she could see in the dimly lit environment around her were waiters and waitresses delivering meals on metal trays, dining tables for almost as far as the eye could see and one of the chefs making their way into the kitchen through the back. All she could hear was the familiar sound of cutlery and plates, jazz music faintly playing in the background, and many ponies chatting and laughing the evening away. Nothing out of the ordinary, but that didn’t mean that Rainbow was not going to be vigilant. Soarin’ was having a quick glance at the menu, and as she looked over to him, their eyes met. He immediately noticed that Rainbow was feeling uneasy.
“Are you alright, honey? You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” Soarin’ said while brushing her arm.
Rainbow sighed while still holding eye contact and then replied. “I guess I am okay at the moment, thanks for asking. Don’t worry, Soarin’.”
Shortly afterwards, a waiter came over and addressed them. “Good evening you two, are you ready to order something?” the waiter asked. He had a slightly posh accent.
“I’ll have your spaghetti bolognese dish with Parmesan cheese please,” said Soarin while he looked at the menu again. He turned over to look over to Dash who was fiddling with her hair. He knew that Rainbow wasn't feeling quite comfortable, but decided not to question her about it any further. “What would you like, sweetheart?”
“Uhh… I guess I’ll have the same as well...” Rainbow mumbled, still feeling uneasy over the fact that she chose to ignore Marnol’s warning. Already she felt that something was severely wrong but she couldn’t tell exactly what. Both Soarin and the waiter turned to face each other again and started whispering and gossiping among themselves. She was barely able to make out what they were saying over all the background noise and discreetly leaned in a little closer.
“So, who’s the lucky lady, Soarin’?” the waiter whispered, barely audible to Rainbow Dash.
“Rainbow Dash; met her about three weeks ago. She seems a little shy now but damn, she’s so fine!” Soarin’ responded as he glanced over to Rainbow's general direction for a split second.
“I agree, man she looks sizzling hot tonight. Don’t burn yourself though when you inevitably get some action… if you know what I mean.”
“Nah, bro I got this. I’m gonna be the lucky one tonight.”
Both Soarin’ and the waiter burst out in laughter, but from what Rainbow was able to make out, she wasn’t impressed. At all. She was even more worried than before but did her best to not show it to avoid Soarin’ calling her out again. Rainbow decided to confront him about what she had just heard.
“Seems that you really know that guy, huh?” Rainbow asked sarcastically.
“Yeah, I’ve known him even before I joined the Wonderbolts and got semi-famous,” Soarin chuckled. “I had no idea he works here though, he never told me.”
“What were you talking about?”
“Oh nothing, just some banter and jokes between us.”
“What. Were. You. Talking about?” Rainbow’s sternness became really obvious to Soarin’ as she folded her arms. She simply wasn’t buying his pathetic excuse. “Don’t make me ask the question again.”
Soarin’ knew she wasn’t going to take any more lies from him, so with his quick thinking skills, he decides to partially confess. “Uhh…. umm... just locker room talk about another mare he knows… you know how stallions can be, Rainbow.” Soarin shrugged but Rainbow didn’t budge an inch; she was still staring into his soul with a very unimpressed look. “What? I’m sorry if it bothered you that much, Dashie… it’s nothing personal.” He reached out to lift up her chin and lightly caress her muzzle and face in an attempt to cheer her up but Rainbow ended up pushing him away after trying to ignore him for a few seconds.
“Don’t call me that, fuckboy… I heard most of what you said!” she snapped angrily, banging a fist on the table in her rage. “You were talking about me, weren’t you?”
Soarin started to blush, but continued to try and comfort her. He leans forward towards Rainbow and whispers, “Hey, look, I didn’t mean it and neither did he. Please relax, okay?”
“Whatever; guys will be guys. I’ll put it aside if you behave and treat me right.” Soarin’ nods, lifts her chin once again and gives her a brief kiss on the lips which leaves Rainbow blushing and smiling. He gives her a seductive smirk back while holding eye contact with her. “Maybe I was overreacting a little bit, it seems you do know how to make a mare feel special though,” Rainbow said with a sheepish laugh, to which Soarin’ responds with another nod.
After a short while, the same waiter from earlier came back with their food and placed their meals on the table. When he was walking away, he winked at Soarin’ and Soarin gave a head nod back. Both of them picked up a knife and fork each, and began to eat.
“So, let’s begin; what’s on your mind, Rainbow?” Soarin asked.
“Oh, nothing really; just my thoughts are wondering and I’m thinking about random stuff,” Rainbow replied.
“Am I in any of those thoughts?”
Rainbow raised an eyebrow; she was pretty sure what was going on and what Soarin’ was up to. In the back of her mind, she was still thinking about the possibility that Soarin’ could pounce at any moment. It was highly unlikely that he was going to do anything in public with this many potential witnesses around if he truly did have illicit intentions, so she decided that for now, it was safe to get a little bit comfortable. “Maaaaybe. Trying to be smooth?”
“Nah, I was trying to be rough. You can make me smooth by sanding me down and giving me a backrub though.”
“C’mon Soarin’, you can do better than that.” Rainbow giggled, but a period of silence follows afterwards.
Soarin’ continued to eat and was trying to come up with a response. He eventually said, “My food’s gone cold, but who needs a microwave or an oven when I’ve got you?”
Rainbow initially missed the point before she realised the joke and burst out laughing. “A little bit cheesy but I’ll admit that one was good!” she teased. “I have a feeling you probably looked that one up on Google earlier though, so no bonus points.”
“No need to look up anything on Google when you already have everything I’m searching for, Dashie.”
Rainbow smirks and gives Soarin’ a very sly look, which sparks his interest. “You’re really going for it, aren’t you?”
“Yep. Do you know what else I'm searching for on Google? Rule 34 images of you.”
“Rule 34? What's that?” Rainbow looked at him blankly in her confusion, but Soarin’ quietly giggled to himself over her ignorance about the matter before responding.
“It's probably best that you didn't know,” said Soarin with a very smug expression, leaving Rainbow absolutely baffled. “You wouldn't understand why it exists.”
Both of them ended up shrugging and continued to eat for the next ten minutes. Nothing was said during this time period but they would often hold intense eye contact with each other and trade sly smirks and even the occasional wink. After Soarin’ had finished eating, he reached over to tap Rainbow on her shoulder and asked, “Would you like some dessert?”
“Yes, please,” Rainbow replied with a sweet smile.
“Take a look at the menu and let me know what you would like.”
Soarin’ waved at another waiter to grab their attention, but to Rainbow’s surprise, it was Fluttershy who came over. She looked substantially different, to the point where Rainbow barely recognised her at all and even began to question if it really was Fluttershy, or if she was seeing things; her hair and tail was completely straight and dyed black, she was wearing a lot more makeup than usual, and she even went as far to dye her signature yellow fur to a light gray colour. Rainbow noticed that she gave a brief glance that gave the impression that she recognised her and tried to play it off.
Fluttershy eventually asked, “Good evening! Can I.. uhh… take your order?”
Rainbow immediately noticed that she was trying to disguise her voice; it was a lot deeper than her usual high pitched voice, but at this point, she knew without a single doubt it was her. Her shyness, the fact that her voice was still very soft, familiar facial features, and after looking at her hair more closely, she noticed that it was slightly pink at the roots. All of these were telltale signs.
Rainbow had no idea whether or not she should call her out on it, and how Fluttershy would react if she did end up mentioning it. Fluttershy was clearly trying to be someone she wasn’t, but Rainbow couldn’t think of any logical reason why she would do this as she was the most reserved and introverted pony in her entire group of friends, and always seemed so innocent. Is she hiding something and up to no good? Was she trying to live a double life? Then all of a sudden...
“Hey, honey… aren’t you going to tell the waitress what you would like to have instead of keeping her hanging?” Soarin’ asked, looking very confused.
“Oh… my bad, I totally zoned out and uh… I-I got lost in my thoughts; sorry!” Rainbow frantically replied, trying really hard not to stutter from being nervous.
Fluttershy chuckled, rested a hand on her shoulder, looked her right in the eyes and said, “It’s okay madam, calm down. You can take your time.”
“Mind if I ask you a quick question?” Rainbow gestured with her index finger indicating her to come closer so she could whisper in her ear. “I don’t want to jump to any conclusions here, but you remind me a lot of one of my friends; is your name Fluttershy?”
Fluttershy raised an eyebrow, giggled and whispered back with, “No, it’s not. I don’t know who that is, but your date is really handsome! I hope he treats you good and that things go well for you.”
Rainbow wasn’t convinced. At all. She shook her head and then double facepalmed in her frustration. Still, she still had to give credit where credit was due: Fluttershy was doing good enough of a job to fool someone who might not know her closely, but there was no way that she was falling for her disguise, no matter how convincing it was initially, even to Rainbow Dash. “You do realise I can see right through all of this, right? I’m very confident at this point that I know who you actually are.”
After being confronted, Fluttershy began to blush slightly and briefly looked away, but she decided to persist and remain in character and see if she could make Rainbow change her mind and back down. “You are? What makes you say that?” she growled, trying to intimidate Rainbow.
“I know it’s you, Fluttershy. Please don’t be somepony that you’re not. I can tell by your eyes, your face, your wings, your soft-spoken tone and the fact that your hair is light pink at the roots. I know you’re not Pinkie either, even though she has pink hair too because if you were, you’d be bouncing all over the place and you would be speaking so fast that even I couldn’t understand.”
Fluttershy’s eyes widened, and her cheeks flushed a deep crimson red. She immediately broke eye contact again, sighed, and replied to Rainbow in her normal voice. “Fine… you got me, Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy mumbled, “but please don’t say my real name out loud here.”
Soarin was staring at the two mares the entire time, as he was very confused at what was happening between the two of them. He musters up the courage to ask, “Ladies, is it a bad time for me to ask what the fuck is going on?”
Both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy slowly turned to look at Soarin, resulting in a minute’s worth of awkward silence. “Yes. Yes it is,” Fluttershy stated.
“Soarin’, I’m really sorry for spoiling the mood, but can you excuse us for like… five to ten minutes?” Rainbow nervously asked. She could see the frustration in his eyes; he was clearly upset over the pair excusing themselves, but then he eventually nodded. After he instructed them to actually come back once they’re done, Fluttershy and Rainbow headed straight towards the mare’s bathroom for a heart-to-heart conversation.
“Fluttershy! What’s going on? Why have you changed your appearance so much and why are you pretending to be somepony you’re not? Tell me everything!” Rainbow exclaimed, shutting the door behind them.
Fluttershy started to cry a little, and her cheeks were still flushed from earlier. “It’s a long story, but I’ll tell you if you promise not to tell anypony. Ever.” She paused and rested her hands on Rainbow’s shoulders, looking her in the eyes with a slightly lowered gaze. “Not even the girls, alright?”
“Sure, no problem.”
Fluttershy sniffed, caught her breath, and then began to open up to Rainbow.. “Okay… so... there are two reasons why I’m looking like this right now. One, I have a new coltfriend, and two, I’m really, really self-conscious and I find it easier to relax if I pretend that I am somepony else. My new partner told me about one of his ex-marefriends that dumped him and how much he really loved her and although he likes me too, he said it was never the same. He suggested that I make myself look like her, and I didn’t really think much of it because I want to make him happy. But then, one thing led to another and he asked me to talk like her, and even started calling me by her name instead of-”
“Woah, hold up! Why is he making you do all of this shit? And who is this ex that he speaks of? What’s her name, Fluttershy? Tell me,” Rainbow demanded, interrupting her.
“Umm… I think her name is Octavia,” Fluttershy muttered in her response. Although she trusted Rainbow, it didn’t stop her from feeling very unsettled by talking about this. In her mind, Fluttershy knew that getting this off her chest was for the better, as she was hiding this from her friends for so long to the point where she was straight up neglecting them. All of them were wondering about where she had been, and she was well aware of it. As she continued to ponder about the situation between her and her new lover, Fluttershy realised that he was very demanding and was trying to take control of every aspect of her life for no reason other than his longing for Octavia, his own amusement, or even both.
“Where have I heard that name before?” The name was very familiar to Rainbow, but she wasn’t sure about why.
“Cello and violin player for the Equestrian Orchestra...? I think… he hasn’t told me to learn how to play either instrument though, but he really wanted me to work here.”
“Ah, I know. But why!? I don’t get it when apparently she can be a really stubborn bitch in her private life despite the fact she seems innocent… kinda like you. I’d hate to see you go down that route. Before you continue, are you honestly comfortable with this? Because I think that this isn’t right in any circumstance and your new guy is a really big weirdo at the very least.”
Fluttershy began to play with her hair, pushing it through her fingers while looking at herself in the mirror. “Well… I can’t lie… I really like this look, but I get what you’re saying, Dash. I should be myself. And now that you mention it, he is kinda weird and controlling, but I was so tired of being alone; I want to know what love feels like, and I feel so good when I’m around him.”
“Fluttershy, this is not good, and that isn’t true love. You need to break up with him for your own good and return to being you, instead of being Octavia. Imagine if Twilight saw you like this? I hope I don’t have to remind you that Twi and ‘Tavi have had some beef in the past with each other.”
Fluttershy’s eyes shot wide open; she had completely forgotten that Twilight didn’t like Octavia at all. Twilight wasn’t the kind of pony who would outright hate someone, but as far as Fluttershy knew, Octavia was the only pony, if not one of very few that Twilight genuinely hated. She thought back to the time when the two mares nearly got into a serious fight with each other, and came to the conclusion that it could end in tears if Twilight saw her walking around and mistook her for Octavia. “Yeah, you’re right. Twilight doesn’t exactly get on well with her, but I would be absolutely terrified to try and break up with him though. Have you ever had a weird coltfriend?”
“Not exactly, but I have a really bad feeling about Soarin’ though.”
Fluttershy’s face lights up in curiosity. “Why?”
Rainbow pauses for a moment before she continued. “Some guy I’ve never met but apparently knows him warned me about him and advised me to not date him. I ignored it though because I was so frustrated but I’m starting to see why he probably might be right.”
“Really? What’s his name?”
“Marnol.”
“How does he know you if you’ve never met?”
“I don’t have a damn clue! He could be stalking me for all I know.”
“Why is it that the best looking stallions are usually jerks?”
“I don’t know the answer to that either, unfortunately. Why is your coltfriend obsessed with Octavia?”
Fluttershy shrugged before answering. “Beats me, the only thing he told me is that he admires her ‘classiness’, and that ‘mares like her are really hard to find’.”
“That’s bullshit!” Rainbow snapped, shaking her head in disbelief.
“Yeah, it probably is. I’m still terrified to break up with him though.”
Fluttershy appeared to be deep in thought; in order to reassure her, Rainbow gave her a warm smile and reached out for a hug. “Don’t worry, I can support you through it if you wish,” she quietly whispered. “Do you still remember my number?”
“Yes, but… I guess I can handle it now that I’ve gotten it off my chest,” Fluttershy replied, embracing the hug. The two mares continued to hold each other for a while, and it sparked a warm and pleasant feeling for Rainbow as she made the most of this moment.
Rainbow Dash eventually broke off the hug and smiled at her again. “Remember, this is what friends are for. You shouldn't just ignore us like that. Everypony's been wondering about where you possibly could have disappeared to, but next time I see Twilight, I'll tell her that you're okay since she was completely worried sick about your absence. Is there anything else that we should talk about?”
“I don’t know. Besides what I just told you, there’s not much else going on for me right now. Why don’t you tell me more about what you have been up to, Rainbow?”
All of a sudden, Rainbow’s phone started to go off before she was able to speak. It was Marnol. She answers the phone and puts it on loudspeaker.
“Rainbow, it’s me, Marnol. Don’t hang up, I’ve got some bad news. I’ve just intercepted a phone call from Soarin’ and it seems that he’s getting really pissed off over the fact that you went to the toilet with some other lady and have been away for almost 20 minutes. Time flies, I know. He’s just asked some of his ‘boys’ to help kidnap you and take you back to his place against your will, so you need to get out of there. I’m not being a stalker, I’m looking out for you and trying to protect you. Do not under any circumstance go back to him. Find another way out, go home, and lay low for a couple of days. If the mare you went to the bathroom with or wherever is your friend, make sure she does the same as he has plans for her too. He suspects you might be… let’s say… ‘getting it on’ with her behind his back. Later.”
Rainbow dropped her phone in shock and Fluttershy gasped loudly. “Flutters… it seems like I’m in some deep shit. I fucking knew Soarin' was up to something! Where’s an alternative exit we can use?” Rainbow stammered, trying her absolute hardest not to lose her cool.
“Uhh... shouldn’t we call the police?” Fluttershy mumbled nervously in response.
“We should, but getting home is our top priority right now.”
“I guess… there’s a backdoor only employees can use that I can open for you.” Fluttershy bends down to pick up Rainbow’s phone for her and hands it over before continuing. “Follow me; let’s be quick.” Both of them walk out the bathroom and Fluttershy leads her to the back of the building and uses her keycard to open the door.
“I have to stay here because I haven’t finished my job for the evening. My boss would get really mad if I left early. Make sure you stay safe and text me when you get home, okay? Or else I’ll assume something really bad has happened to you.”
“Thanks.”
Rainbow walked out the door and immediately started to check her surroundings. She was in a dark alleyway, and after looking around, she determined that she was in the clear. Just in case, she slowly started to creep towards the street, being careful not to make a single sound and to stay hidden in the shadows. To her surprise, all of a sudden she is tackled to the floor, her hands are cable tied behind her back and her feet cable tied together. She was positioned to be on her back, and Soarin popped into her view while chuckling.
“So… you decided to try and sneak out, huh?” he sneered with an evil grin. "That's probably the second biggest mistake you've ever made. Now you will be mine, whether you want to or not. Maybe I should start calling you 'My Little Dashie' now, eh?"
“Soarin’, what the fuck are you doing?!" Rainbow yelled, "Why are you and your guys doing this to m-”
“Shhhh…” Soarin placed a finger on her lips to interrupt her with a huge smirk on his face. “Hush, my darling. I just wanna have a little fun with ya since you decided to be hypocritical and run off with that marefriend of yours to probably chat shit behind my back… or even worse. Don’t worry, I’ll get the lads to take care of her too.”
“What do you mean?! I didn’t backch-” Rainbow is interrupted with a hard slap from Soarin and a punch in the back from one of his associates. They immediately subdue her and put a gag into her mouth.
“I’m going to have a lot of fun with you… I’ll admit, I’m a really freaky and kinky guy. So tonight you’re gonna return the favour and satisfy all of my desires.” Soarin turned away and whispered something to one of the other stallions there, but Rainbow couldn’t make out what was said. Without saying another word, Soarin’ picked her up and put her in the trunk of his car which was just across the street. He slammed the boot door shut and Rainbow is plunged into darkness. ‘Where did my life go so wrong for me to end up in the back of a car with no way out?’ she thought to herself. ‘Is it because of the one time I was a little rude to Rarity and almost fell out with her a long time ago? Or maybe because I’ve been ignoring Applejack recently? It can’t be, right…? Right?”
As the engine roared to life and the car begins to move, with the tyres squealing loudly as they struggled to grip the road, Rainbow felt herself starting to roll over and eventually banged her head against the boot door, groaning a little in pain. During the journey, she is thrown around in all possible directions; she tumbled over to her right when Soarin’ made a hard left and felt something digging into her side, and shortly afterwards she is jolted upwards repeatedly into the air, her face smashing into the top of the trunk.
‘Fucking hell, Soarin’! Stop driving like a lunatic, you’re gonna kill me back here going over these speed bumps!’ she yelled within her thoughts, wishing that he was able to hear her. For a while after that, it seemed that his driving had smoothed out a little, but just as this thought came to her head, Soarin took a hard right and then immediately slammed on the brakes, and as a result, she had somehow managed to find herself upside down and completely disoriented. At this rate, Rainbow thought that she was going to snap her neck on something before making it out of the car alive, but she was very glad that the car seemingly had come to a stop, and let out a loud groan of relief.
She sat in silence after she heard the faint and very muffled sound of one of the car’s doors opening. Was this finally it? Was Rainbow about to be finally set free? She let out a very muffled squeal of delight, but unfortunately for her, that was not the end of it as she heard a door slamming shut from the same side that she previously heard a door open. It quickly became apparent to her that Soarin’ was only making a short, routine stop as he stepped on the gas, causing Rainbow to faceplant against the bottom of the trunk. This time, she was too angry to even let out even the tiniest of yelps in her pain, as she anticipated the process of being thrown around to start all over again.
After what seemed to her to be almost 45 minutes of pure torture that was on the verge of being unbearable, the car screeched to a halt and the engine shut off. She heard Soarin get out of the car and walk towards the trunk, and anxiously waited in anticipation, shaking in fear. A few moments later, she also heard the sound of the boot door unlocking and Soarin’ pulling the handle. As he slowly drew the door open, she felt the light from the outside world hit her in the face as her eyes quickly made adjustments to the new conditions. She is greeted with Soarin’ giving her the most mischievous look she ever saw in her life, and he leaned in to give her a creepy smile.
“We’re here, Dashie,” he purred seductively in a low voice. “I hope you enjoyed your little road trip, but now you’re coming with me.”
He reached in and picked her up, taking her inside his home and then up the stairs towards his bedroom. ‘Yeah… I definitely enjoyed being driven around by an idiot in the back of a pitch black trunk. It was really fun and I would totally want to do that again,’ Rainbow replied in her thoughts while rolling her eyes. Soarin’ placed her on the bed, turned around to close the door behind him and then dimmed the lights.
Wrong Place Wrong Time: The Corruption of Princess Luna
Chapter 3: Brute Force (NSFW)
An hour earlier at Soarin's house...
He finally had her exactly where he wanted her. Nothing was going to stop him now, and at this point, there was no turning back. This was the moment that he had been waiting for, and he was going to enjoy every second of it.
“Now, let’s begin. I hope you like having your hooves licked, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg," Soarin' laughed as he sat down next to her. All Rainbow could do was mumble and attempt to scream but it was futile as it was very muffled.
Soarin' proceeded to rip off Rainbow’s clothes and kissed her stomach, working his way down to her legs. He cut the cable ties around her wrists and her feet, slid off the leggings and thigh high boots she was wearing, and immediately chained her to the bed. Afterwards, he began to caress her thighs, her legs and her feet with an evil grin on his face. “You know, Dashie… the one thing I like about beautiful, young mares such as yourself besides nice, firm boobs and butts... is a gorgeous pair of legs. I can barely describe it, but the way that the soles of your hooves flows into your ankles is very sexy...” Rage started to build up inside of Rainbow and she felt her blood begin to boil. She tried to retaliate when Soarin started licking and kissing her feet but she was completely restrained and unable to move at all. Several minutes passed, and with each passing moment, she felt increasingly more helpless. It was just her and Soarin in a room with no windows, and no means of escape. Eventually, Soarin’ stopped and walked around the bed to whisper something into her ear.
“It’s such a shame you don’t feel the same way about me, but I’m sure we can work something out after all this...” Soarin' whispered seductively while he ran his fingers through her hair with one hand and groped her breasts in the other. He reached over to kiss her on the cheek and proceeded to remove her gag.
“Why are you doing this to me? Don’t you think this is wrong?” Rainbow asked with tears now rolling down her face. She felt so helpless; nothing like this had ever happened to her before, and she had no idea on how to react or what to do.
“Well, I can’t lie… it does feel kinda wrong but at the same time I absolutely love it.” Soarin' used a finger to wipe away her tears, and he stared into her eyes while Rainbow's face became pale; her pupils started to dilate, and her breathing was very sharp and irregular. Soarin' rested a hand on her cheek as he continued to admire Rainbow's beauty, and he smiled again. "You look so pretty when you cry, but don't worry; I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do, maybe even more so."
Rainbow frantically shook her head while angrily glaring at him. “Guess what? I don’t like this, you jerk! All of this is completely uncalled for. You’re an absolute freak, and I thought you were a nice guy! You shouldn't treat mares like this.”
Soarin' placed a finger to his lips. “Shhh… deep down I know you’re liking this. Just calm down a little, take a few deep breaths... and enjoy.”
Rainbow spat at him and started screaming in retaliation which resulted in a slap from Soarin' that was so hard it left her very disorientated for a few seconds. "Don't you dare do that again!" he howled, wiping his face clean of her saliva while Rainbow scrunched up her face and groaned in pain. "Now stay still, be quiet, and don't kick up a fuss!"
He then went on to climb on top of her, took off his jacket and shirt, and started kissing her neck which caused Rainbow to moan softly a little and roll her eyes. She wasn't enjoying this at all, and there was nothing she could do about it. After a while, Soarin' moved up a little higher to kiss her on the lips and forced his tongue into her mouth. Rainbow could feel him swishing it around carelessly, probably in an attempt to find her tongue. She had withdrawn her tongue as far back into her mouth as she could, as Rainbow didn't want to give Soarin' the satisfaction of making him think that she was kissing him back. As she laid completely limp on the bed, the bright idea of biting on Soarin's tongue came to her, but she decided not to act on it as she wanted to avoid being hit again. Her face was still stinging from being slapped earlier, and she didn't want that to get any worse than it already was.
Soarin' eventually pulled away from the kiss while still holding his face close to hers and started to smile. "Doesn't that feel nice, Dashie? No need to spit at me in the face... as long as you cooperate, I won't hurt you. However, the same can't be said if you choose to fight back. I noticed you didn't return the kiss, but whatever."
Rainbow shook her head and groaned in disapproval. "Just get on with it, will you? I wanna go home!"
Soarin' started to kiss her neck and face again, slowly making his way over to one of his ears. He gave it a quick lick before he whispered into it. "If you insist... but let me have a little more fun with you first. I hope you don't mind if I give you a hickey."
"A what, now?" All of a sudden, she feels a very sharp sting as Soarin bites into her neck. "OW OW OW!! HEY! What are you doing?! Somepony help m-!"
She is interrupted by Soarin swiftly placing a hand over her mouth. He shuffled around while he looked for the gag that was on her earlier, and when he found it, he forced it back into her mouth as Rainbow tried her hardest to resist, twisting her head side to side and keeping her lips shut as tightly as she could. When Soarin' finally managed to slip it back on, Rainbow whimpered loudly in defeat, and her eyes drooped a little.
"Don't look at me like that. I gave you a chance, Rainbow, and you chose not to shut the hell up. This time it stays on, you hear me?"
Rainbow whimpered again and nodded in response. She knew that she literally had no choice, but she thought that Soarin' would at least consider being more gentle once he was done having his fun with her if she cooperated. Although Rainbow wasn't liking this experience one bit, she decided that at least so far it wasn't that bad in the sense that it could have been much, much worse. In the back of her mind, she was still well aware that all of this will inevitably end in tears; it wasn't a question of if Soarin' would eventually get the bright idea of sticking his member inside of her without her permission, but when. Speaking of which, as this thought came to her, Soarin' slid a vibrator inside of her and turned it on; she slowly started to feel herself becoming very wet and slick in her nether regions, and even started throbbing a little from arousal. That didn't mean that any of this was acceptable though, and the only thing that she wanted to do after this traumatising experience was over, was to fly back home and cry herself to sleep.
Soarin' then went back to caressing her breasts, but this time he was very tender and affectionate in the way that he went about doing it, and even got a little experimental. He licked and sucked on one of her nipples while gently tracing circles around the other, and occasionally blew warm air over them. For some reason that she couldn't explain, this drove her wild, and she started to squirm around, letting out a few quiet moans that Soarin' noticed.
"You're getting into this, I see," he chuckled as he worked his way back down her body. He could feel her shivering in response to his touch, and he could hear Rainbow's moaning progressively becoming louder. When he reached her belly button, he took a few moments to tease the outside of it with his tongue while simultaneously taking out the vibrator that was inside of her and putting it to one side. He instantly replaced it with two of his fingers and followed it up by sucking on her clitoris, which caused Rainbow to squirm around from the intense sensation. She let out another moan while she bucked her hips at him, and then Soarin abruptly stopped to raise a fist at her which left Rainbow quivering with fear.
"What did I just say about a minute ago?" he yelled. "Stop it!"
It was only a few moments later that she recognised that Soarin' must have mistaken it as retaliation, but Rainbow had no clue as to why he was so aggressive when clearly he was in control of the entire situation regardless. 'Damn... no need to shout at me like that! Jeeez...' Rainbow thought to herself as Soarin' slowly dropped his fist and continued where he left off. She closed her eyes in the hope that she could block out the outside world and pretend as if nothing was happening or somehow come to the realisation that all of this was a dream, despite the fact she was feeling emotional and physical pain. 'Maybe all of this is just a dream... a terrifyingly vivid dream.'
A few minutes later, Soarin' stopped. Rainbow could hear the distinct clinking sound of a belt, and as she opened her eyes, Soarin' climbed back on top of her. "That tight little butthole of yours better be ready for me," he purred with a grin, using one of his free hands to spread her apart, all the while her heart began to pound heavily. Soarin' continued to tease the outside of her anus with his fingers, before eventually doing it with the tip of his shaft and then slowly pushing his hips forward as he entered her. It was extremely painful, and Rainbow started to scream loudly non-stop through her gag while her entire body became tense, causing her to wrap around him even tighter which only amplified the pain even further.
"Ahhhh... fuck..." Soarin' moaned as he managed to fit just over three-quarters of his length inside of Rainbow, his hands firmly gripping her hips for better leverage. He slowly starts to pull back as he developed a rhythm of thrusting in and out of her, eventually picking up the pace and going a little faster. As he did so, the sound of bed springs creaking and their thighs slapping together filled the room and became louder with each stroke as he pounded away at Rainbow. He was rock hard, and his eyes rolled back as he started to growl loudly in pleasure through gritted teeth. It wasn't long before he started to sweat and pant in his excitement, and he grinned at her while leaning forward a little.
His eyes drifted from Rainbow's eyes, which were looking back at him in simultaneous resentment and horror, to her breasts, which were jiggling up and down perfectly in time with his thrusts. The mesmerising sight of her chest along with the extremely tight feeling of Rainbow around him brought Soarin' close to release quite quickly, his cock throbbing, twitching and eager to explode to pump his seed deep inside of her ass. He took a hold of both of her boobs, squeezing and massaging them while he bit his lip as he slowed down his pace. Eventually, Soarin' pulled out to give himself a chance to calm down a little.
"Damn... almost got a little too excited there, but I don't wanna end this yet... your body is fucking amazing. You brought me close, but guess where I'm gonna blow my load?" He inserted a finger inside of Rainbow's pussy and looked at her with an evil grin before continuing. "Right here. Yep. I'm gonna cum inside... and there's not a damn thing you can do about it."
Rainbow's eyes widened in shock. 'Don't you dare!' she replied in her mind. 'I swear... if this asshole gets me pregnant, then I will do terrible things back to him when he releases me.'
Soarin' inserted himself back inside of her. "Holy shit..." he moaned as he bottomed out for the first time, "your pussy is almost as tight as your ass. I'm impressed, Rainbow." Once again, Soarin' took a firm grip of her hips and built up a rhythm of slow in-and-out strokes to savour the moment. It didn't take long before his dick started throbbing again, and his eyes rolled back into his head. "Ahhhh..."
Just as he was about to pass the point of no return and go over the edge, the door of his bedroom flied open and slammed against the wall behind it, causing a loud bang that made Soarin' shriek and pull out of Rainbow so fast that a quiet pop was heard. She yelped in pain while desperately scrambling around from Soarin' suddenly withdrawing from her.
“Freeze! Cloudsdale PD! Get on the ground and do it now!” an officer yelled while he and four other officers entered the room and began to surround them. Rainbow looked over to the police officers and then back at Soarin’; she had never seen someone's facial expression change so quickly. His evil grin disappeared, and he was instinctively covering his crotch in embarrassment as he sprung from the bed in fear and started to back away once two of the officers began to edge closer towards him with tasers in hand.
“I-I-It's not what it looks like, off-” Soarin' stuttered while he eventually backed up straight into a wall, only to be cut off by another officer who tried to corner and box him in.
“What are you waiting for?! Hands behind your back Soarin’, we’ve caught you red-handed.”
Rainbow continued to watch on and felt very satisfied once Soarin' was tackled to the ground and put in handcuffs. 'Serves this idiot right, he has no respect for mares whatsoever,' she thought.
Soarin' is then lifted back up to his feet, his face completely covered in tears and his head hanging in shame. "You are now under arrest, and have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law," an officer said, reading his rights out to him and holstering his taser. "Do you understand?" Soarin' slowly nods in response while snivelling, full of regret and remorse. The police officers help him put back on his trousers and then lead him out of the room and down the stairs, however, two of them stay behind to assist Rainbow Dash.
"Are you okay, Rainbow?" a female officer asked with great concern in her voice while she walked over and sat down next to Rainbow, reaching over to take the gag out of her mouth. She was a white earth pony with a long silver mane that was up in a ponytail.
"I... I... don't even... know what to say," Rainbow stammered, who was absolutely mortified by what she had just experienced. "All I know is that I'm glad that it's all over, and that I just want to go home."
"Perfectly understandable. I would want to go home and wrap up in my covers too if I were you," said the other officer, who was a yellow unicorn with a light golden brown and blonde coloured mane that was slightly longer than shoulder length. She picked up Rainbow's clothes from the floor as well as her phone and inspected them before continuing. "Seems like we're going to have to wrap you up in a towel or something, you're definitely not putting these back on. And of course, we'll need to find a way to get you out so we can take you home."
The two officers proceeded to free Rainbow from the bed after a brief search for the key to unlock the restraints, and helped her to stand up. Her wrists and legs were very sore, not to mention her entire backside felt as if it was on fire. After she got up, Rainbow limped into the bathroom and came out with a towel wrapped around her torso one minute later.
"Follow us downstairs and we'll give you a ride home," the yellow unicorn instructed. "If you want to, we can even stop by the shops and get you something to take your mind off things."
"Oh no, I'm fine thanks, but thank you for the offer!" Rainbow smiled, and followed them outside, opening the door and climbing into the backseat of their car. She told the two officers where she lived, and the white mare in the front passenger seat turned around to look at Rainbow with a smile just as the car set off.
"Having somepony force themselves upon you like that is extremely terrifying, but try not to let it get to you for too long. Remember, it's our job to make the ponies of Equestria feel safe. Besides, I personally know what it's like to be abused like that, and it's very horrifying. It can scar you for a pretty long time, but not everypony is out there to get you. You just need to know where to look to find good company."
"That's quite reassuring to hear that you're somepony who can relate. What's your name if you don't mind me asking?"
"I'm Lily." She then pointed to her partner who was driving. "And this is Saffron; we often do our work shifts together. If you want to stay in touch, I don't mind, but as soon as you get home you need to get some rest and give yourself a chance to clear your mind so you don't let what happened today upset you. In fact, if you want to get some shuteye right now, feel free to go ahead. I'll wake you up when we're about to arrive."
Rainbow nodded. "Yeah, I'd appreciate that. It's gonna take a while for me to let this go." She makes herself comfortable and reclines her seat a little while closing her eyes, before eventually falling into a deep sleep.
When Saffron arrived and pulled up just outside Rainbow's house, she got out of the car, walked around to the passenger door around the back and opened it. She lightly rested a hand on Rainbow's shoulder and playfully stroked her chin.
"Wake up, sweetie, we're here," she whispered into her ear with a smile. However, Rainbow didn't respond and she also began to snore softly while she slumped against the back seat. Saffron giggled quietly and turned towards Lily who just got out of the passenger seat. "Aww, bless. It seems that she's a heavy sleeper. Let's get her inside without waking her up. You did grab her keys before we left, right?"
Lily put a hand into one of her pockets, and her eyes widened when she found out it was completely empty. She then began to frantically check all of her other pockets as she panicked.
"Shit... did I just lose these keys alr-" She stopped when she found it in one of her back pockets and let out a sigh of relief as she pulled it out. "Ah, here it is."
Lily walked over to the front door while Saffron carefully lifted Rainbow out of the car, supporting Rainbow's upper back and her legs. However, as she did so, the towel that was wrapped around Rainbow slipped off and fell on the floor.
"Dammit!" she muttered under her breath as she looked back at the towel that lay on the floor. "What kind of mare doesn't know how to wrap a towel around themselves properly?" It didn't take long before Saffron eventually found her eyes involuntarily drifting towards Rainbow and following her many curves as she carried her over to the door. 'Heh... on the other hand, Rainbow Dash is a lot lighter and a little bit more curvy than I had imagined... she looks so good! I can't believe I'm holding one of the Elements of Harmony in my arms!' Saffron thought to herself as she inspected Rainbow's body while smirking. However, she quickly dismissed this thought and anxiously bit her lip. 'C'mon Saffron, focus! You already have a special, handsome somepony, and this mare is considerably younger than you. Don't let your mind go down the gutter!'
Lily inserted the key into the lock and turns it to slowly open the door, turning on the light as she stepped in. As she did so, she glanced back at Saffron and could almost immediately tell that there was something on her mind.
"Hey, is everything alri-" Lily asked, raising an eyebrow at her. She immediately cut herself off when she realised Rainbow was naked. "Where's her towel?! She's going to get cold, bring her inside!"
"It fell off when I picked her up! I only have two hands," Saffron anxiously replied with her cheeks beginning to flush. It took all of her willpower in order to force her eyes to stay away from Rainbow. "and yeah, I'm alright. I'm just having... unwanted, intrusive thoughts. I don't wanna talk about it, don't worry."
Lily giggled and shook her head. "You're a unicorn, are you not? Why not use your magic? You never use it! Anyway, why don't you tell me what's on your mind? You seem troubled."
"Oh... right. I forgot." Saffron pushed past Lily and started carrying Rainbow upstairs. "Like I said, I don't wanna talk about it, Lily. Let's get Rainbow into her bed and get out of here."
Lily followed Saffron up the stairs and when they reached Rainbow's bedroom, Lily held the door open for her as she walked in and placed Rainbow on the bed before she tucked her in under the sheets and rested her head against one of the pillows. Saffron then proceeded to take Rainbow's phone out of her pocket and placed it on her bedside table after she found the charging cable and plugged it in. She took one last glance at Rainbow laying down on the bed before she stood up from her knees. When Saffron turned around, Lily shook her head and gave her a very sly look as she was now aware of what was on Saffron's mind. Both of the policemares quietly left the room after they turned off the bedroom light and made their way downstairs and out of the front door. Lily locked the door behind her and pushed the keys through the letterbox before she immediately started giggling loudly.
"You were checking her out, weren't you?" she smiled. "That's why you didn't want to tell me anything!"
Saffron's face dropped in horror and she immediately stopped walking. She wanted to waste no time in making her way over to their police cruiser, but this is exactly what she didn't want to happen. She slowly and awkwardly turned around to face Lily who was following behind her, and Lily rested a hand on her shoulder while making eye contact. Saffron opened her mouth to begin to speak, but she was unable to say anything out of embarrassment and nodded her head after a moment of silence.
"I knew it!" Lily began to laugh uncontrollably while Saffron turned away. "Don't worry, I won't tell your husband. It will be our own little dirty secret."
"She... s-s-she just looked so nice..." Saffron stammered in her response as she continued walking over to the car, avoiding all eye contact with her coworker as she did so. "her face... her hips... I... I just... I just couldn't help but look."
As both of them took a seat inside of the car, Saffron had her face in her palms in the passenger seat; after sitting in silence for a few moments, Lily reached over and gave her a hug to comfort her. "Don't worry about it too much, I'm just teasing because I know you're quite dirty-minded. It's not that big of a deal I guess... I mean, there have been mares which I thought looked really good too, and had a second or even a third glance at."
Saffron didn't embrace the hug though, and she still was hiding her face in shame with Lily's arm around her, trying her hardest to ignore her coworker. When Lily continued to try and comfort her, Saffron eventually snapped and shoved Lily off of her, causing Lily to bang her head hard against the driver's side window. "Just take us back to the station so we can call it a night! I wanna go home, get something to eat and forget about the fact that I just had sexual thoughts about a 19-year-old mare when I'm 33! I'm a fucking predator who's fucked in the head and deserves to die! Leave me be!"
Lily simply stared at Saffron with her eyes wide in shock over her outburst. Without saying another word, she slowly and awkwardly put the keys in the ignition and set off.
'Saffron really could use a good night's sleep. The stresses of life must be really getting to her now if she's getting aggressive with me and coming out with a disturbing outburst like that. She just doesn't realise sexual thoughts are normal, everypony has them... the problem is when you act on it when it's inappropriate to do so. I mean... a 13-year gap is pretty big but there's nothing inherently wrong with it in this case. I better stay out of her way for the next couple of days and let her cool off.'
