Starlight's Dronification
Starlight Glimmer stormed into her hotel room in a fit of anger, her hooves making obnoxiously loud clopping noises each time they hit the pristine marble floor, her reflection didn't hide her anguish. The other guests were used to this kind of thing happening, and they had a good idea why Starlight was so upset. She stood there cross with an upturned lip, staring at her face in the mirror. God, it looked... Honestly, there were no words to describe it. That's how Rarity would probably put it but not in a good way. Starlight was currently staying at a hotel in Canterlot for a while as she had some private business to attend to with Princess Luna and Celestia. Strange thing is she had been told to come all the way down here and yet they still hadn't told her what this meeting was going to be all about. Thinking of it as an important challenge, and maybe a chance to learn a new friendship lesson, Starlight had gladly accepted.
During her time in Canterlot, since she had several hours yet before she needed to be at the castle, so she decided to go and get her makeup done, after all, might as well try to look presentable when she meets the princesses right? However whoever she got to do the makeup, to put it frankly, did so bad a job of it, even the most passive non-fashion enthusiasts would cringe. Starlight simply took a deep breath and did a massive groan, knowing she couldn't wipe off the teal colored horrid lipstick from her face right now, as it had dried by this point."That's the last time I let another pony do my makeup!" Starlight huffed proudly like a snooty aristocrat in disgust, slightly raising her hoof in a mocking manner. "Rarity does a way better job." she added, solidifying her argument. Although Rarity wasn't in town so It's not like she could've done it. Stupid Starlight. In that case she probably should have just left it until she got back to Ponyville. She'd never look presentable at the meeting now... Wait. What was that?
Starlight's eyes were drawn to a mysterious, haunting looking... Substance of some kind. It wobbled around and shifted in place. It was purple in color, and although it looked like it had the texture of a large piece of chewing gum, it was actually made of rubber. Starlight carefully lowered her hoof and out of sheer curiosity, circled it around, feeling the rubber which confirmed her speculation was false, but when she let go that didn't make it seem less creepier, in fact it might be worse now. It just sat there ominously shuffling towards Starlight, with no clear purpose or origin, it certainly didn't look like anything she had ever seen, and she had seen a lot in her lifetime. Feeling unnerved, Starlight was going to alert the hotel staff about it, but almost as if the blob of rubber had read her thoughts and wanted to protect itself, it twisted and morphed into tight restraining rubber rope of some sort, forcing itself into climbing up Starlight's body in an enchanting swirly pattern.
Feeling increasingly scared Starlight finally decided to take action, and used her magic to send a shockwave impact out from her horn, knocking off all the creepy rubber substance. It was clearly a desperate and fearful measure, after all that was a very high risk, serious spell to perform. Starlight was on the edge it seemed. Thinking the strange incident was over with, before she could do anything the blob of rubber had already formed itself right back into a whole piece after the spell split it apart, and yet again attempted to take over Starlight. It succeeded this time as she was caught totally off guard, with the rubber blob yet again shifting into tangled sausage like rope arms, but this time taking another approach, and wrapping the end directly around her lips. At first it didn't seem to do anything, as Starlight looked at her face in panic and shock, though the restrained lips kept her from showing it for the most part except in the eyes.
Although as Starlight was unwise enough to not focus as the rest of the rubber yet again started to make its way up her body in a spiral trail, her main concern was her lips, which she could swear were beginning to grow in size, and the teal lipstick upon them dried up like flies in the extreme heat, but soon enough it started to look like it wasn't even lipstick at all, like the teal was her natural lip color. This was concerning enough, but it kept growing and growing for seemingly all time yet only a few seconds as Starlight had found her muzzle was entirely just a gigantic set of lips with some of the rubber still wrapped on the end, starting to extend further over her face. At the same time, while she paid more attention to that it was all subsided by the rubber substance starting to spread, consuming near enough her entire torso, leaving only the cutie mark as mysteriously intact.
Soon enough the substance had made it's way up her entire neck, which was starting to make breathing a little harder, It's easy to imagine it would be when your neck is made of rubber, but somehow Starlight survived. At the same time, her eyes proved to be the scariest change yet, as they were becoming more harder and solid with each passing second, grey rims starting to form around them while their irises disappeared and were replaced with what looked like a luminous teal sheen with a lens flare reflecting off. Starlight was thankfully still able to see through the glass lens eyes, almost like a robot. Her mental and emotional state had become impossible to tell visually, but Starlight was starting to succumb to the will of the rubber and accept her fate, mentally she was losing a lot of her smarts, though she still had memory and knowledge of who she once was, she started to become... Mindless, for a lack of a better term. Of course, the rubber had planned things out, splitting itself into two just as Starlight did before, and slowly wrapping itself all over her hooves.
With the transformation almost complete, Starlight's expressions started to calm as she simply stood there, gazing into the distance as the final rubber started to ascend, spreading up the face and slowly but surely converting all that it covered from purely just regular pony with a rubber coating, into a pure living rubber drone. The only places that had not been affected by all this were her mane and tail. Starlight Glimmer, once a proud citizen of Equestria with a small makeup problem, had gone through a complete transformation into a rubber drone. Mentally, she wasn't a bad person or anything, just quite simple as most drones would be. Starlight had the choice of either following her daily routine as normal, or seeking others to change with her magic lips that could now rubber drone up anyone she wanted, as she had to admit, being a rubber drone felt really nice, it was a feeling really worth sharing. In a way it almost felt like the escapade she caused back in the village when you think of it like that, how ironic.
