Fluttershy screamed. She woke up in her cottage, and all of the animals were gone! She rushed to all of her friends' houses, and told them what had happened. They were all alarmed, but lately the Nightmare had been bothering them a lot, so they knew it had to be the Nightmare. Applejack and Rainbow were trying to cheer Fluttershy up, while Pinkie, Rarity, and Twilight were busy figuring out a plan.

"It was horrible," Fluttershy was saying. "I just woke up from my bed, and boom! They were all gone."

"Fluttershy, we're gonna get them back, aren't we girls?" Applejack said. "The Nightmare can take our stuff away, but can't stop us from taking it back." This cheered up Fluttershy very slightly, and all of a sudden, there was a giant light bulb on top of Pinkie's head.

"I got it!" Pinkie screamed. "We should kick and hit the Nightmare, and end the Nightmare for once and for all!" Everyone agreed, and then there was a sudden BOOM! Rainbow was alarmed, and screamed, "WHO ARE YOU?!?"

"I am the Nightmare! Nothing shall defeat me!" The Nightmare hissed. "You can't defeat me all the time, you know."

"Yes we can too Nightmare!" Pinkie yelled. "Friendship is Magic! Evil is not!"

After Pinkie had said that, the 6 mares started to hit, kick, punch, and do anything they could to the Nightmare. Rarity and Twilight used their horns to shoot fire at the Nightmare, which was very painful. Pinkie and Applejack, since they were both very strong, they kicked at the Nightmare. Fluttershy and Rainbow flew up to the Nightmare and bit the Nightmare. The Nightmare couldn't take it.

"Please, stop! Fluttershy, you can have your animals back!" The Nightmare yelped. "I will never bother you ponies again! Just please stop!"

When Fluttershy heard she could have her animals back, she perked up. She stopped biting the Nightmare, and went back to her cottage. And sure enough, her animals were back.

"Girls! It's true!" Fluttershy cried. "My animals are back!"

The rest of the mares stopped doing whatever they were doing to the Nightmare, and went over to look. And they saw it, Fluttershy's animals were back.

"Yay!" Pinkie cried. "Everyone's happy!"

"Wait," Rainbow said. "What happened to the Nightmare?"

Everyone looked to the place where the Nightmare was, and sure enough, it was gone. The 6 mares shrugged it off, and went back to their houses.
