The Death and Ressurection of Shining Armor
Three days ago "no I know you're captain of aunt Celestia's Royal Guard but nopony has ever come in contact with a creature like this please don't go begged Princess Cadence."
Shining Armor told his pink alicorn wife with a long blonde mane and tail that has shades of dark pink and purple in it as he wiped the tears from her purple eyes "hey don't worry there's no way i'll let a griffon/ changeling hybrid get the best of me plus do you want them to attack and take over Canterlot."
Princess Cadence told him" no but ..."
Shining Armor asked her "but what?"
Princess Cadence told him while she once again started crying "what if you don't come back?"
Shining Armor hugged and kissed his wife and then told her "hey now don't say stuff like that one way or another i'll definetly come back to my beautiful wife."
Princess Cadence said after doing a cute and adorable blush "ok i'll see you again my handsome husband."
Two and a half days later at the griffon kingdom of Griffala Shining Armor and several other unicorn Royal Guards were fighting the griffon/ changeling hybrids when suddenly one of them snuck up behind him and stabbed him in the back with his claws, he then finished off the white unicorn stallion by grabbing his spear and stabbing through his Royal Guard armor right through the chest.
One day later three royal unicorn guards carrying a dead Shining Armor knocked on the castle doors Princess Cadence expecting the safe return of her husband answered the door but when she saw the three guards carrying his dead body she asked them as she started crying "what happened to him please tell me."
They sighed before telling her "Princess Cadence yesterday a griffon/ changeling hybrid snuck up on and stabbed him in the back with his claws, he then grabbed the Captain's spear and stabbed him through his royal guard armor i'm sorry."
Princess Cadence said while screaming as tears continued falling out of her purple eyes "no no NO!!!"
Princess Celestia, her younger sister Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle who was visiting Canterlot castle until her older brother's return all showed up and asked Princess Cadence "Cadence what's wrong?" Princess Cadence pointed to the three Royal Guards holding the dead body of Shining Armor.
Tears started falling out of Twilight Sparkle's purple eyes too as she said "no it can't be my BBBFF (Big Brother Best Friend Forever is dead please wake me up from this nightmare."
Princess Cadence told the lavender unicorn mare with a bluish purple mane and tail that has shades of pink and purple in it as she wrapped her pegasus wings lovingly around her sister in law "it's going to be ok Twilight we'll get through this together."
Princess Celestia decided that her niece and most faithful student needed some alone time to cry and hug each other. The next day Princess Cadence, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, several unicorn and pegasus Royal Guards, Twilight Sparkle, Twilight's parents, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Spike were all at Shining Armor's funeral.
Applejack told Twilight in the trademark southern accent that all members of the apple family talk in "i'm real sorry about your brother."
Pinkie Pie who nuzzled up to Twilight Sparkle told her as her usually happy go lucky self was frowning and sad told her "i'm super duper sorry too."
Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Spike all told her at the same time "we're all very sorry Twilight come on let's go back to Ponyville.
Twilight Sparkle shook her head and told them "thanks but no thanks I want to stay here for a while make sure my parents and Princess Cadence are ok."
Rarity asked her in the trademark British accent that she talks in "are you sure about that darling?"
Twilight Sparkle told Rartiy "yeah i'm sure don't worry about me besides I want to return to the castle and take off my black dress." The other five members of The Mane Six and Spike the dragon all gave her a group hug and told her goodbye."

Princess Cadence told Twilight Sparkle "wait Twilight my brave little soldier I still need your help to bring Shining Armor back to life fully instead of you know a undead zombie pony like he is now." Twilight agreed as he and Princess Celestia reread the book again and performed the spell once again this time the right way.
Princess Cadence and Twilight ran up to hug him and were crying again but this time they were tears of happiness and joy they told him "welcome back to the land of the living we missed you so much."
Shining Armor told Princess Cadence and Twilight "I missed you too but i've got a kingdom to defend."
Princess Cadence and Princess Celestia told Shining Armor "actually Twilight has volunteered to be a Royal Guard for a day put her in armor please."
Shining Armor told Princess Celestia "yes you're highness i'll do that right away."
Shining Armor told his younger sister after helping put her into royal guard armor "you look pretty good in that LSBFF." (Little Sister Best Friend Forever)
Twilight Sparkle told her older brother Shining Armor "thank you now come on BBBFF let's go save Canterlot."
After several minutes of blasting Queen Chrysalis, her changeling army/ swarm and the griffon/ changeling hybrids with magical energy lasers and hitting and stabbing them with spears and short swords all of the invaders were either defeated, dead or flew away scared.
Twilight Sparkle asked Princess Celestia "Princess Celestia can you give me a scroll and ink I have a letter I want to write to Spike and the rest of my friends back home?"
Princess Celestia told Twilight "of course Twilight here you go."
Meanwhile back in Ponyville the letter that Twilight just wrote got belched up by Spike who read it to the other five members of The Mane Six "dear friends I will be returning to Ponyville tomorrow me, Princess Cadence and Princess Celestia brought my brother Shining Armor back to life, me and him defeated a army of both changeling invaders and griffon/ changeling hybrids see you soon your friend,

Three days later "Princess Mi Amore Cadenza come out of your room right now" said Princess Celestia.
Princess Cadence opened the door by turning the door knob with unicorn telekinesis and told her while levitating a book in mid air "aunt Celestia, Twilight come in my room quickly there's something I want to discuss with you."
Princess Cadence told them "I think I found a way to bring Shining Armor back to life with this."
The white alicorn princess with a long flowing wavey mane and tail that has shades of green, pink and blue in it "I strongly advise against this the dead are meant to stay dead."
Twilight Sparkle told Princess Cadence "I love and miss my brother too and so do my parents but are you sure it's a good idea to bring him back to life?"
Princess Cadence told them "I don't care I want to do this I want to see my Shining Armor again now please help me."
Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia reluctantly agreed as they read the spell book and brought Shining Armor back to life only he wasn't really alive he was a zombie.
Zombie Shining Armor told his wife Princess Cadence as he walked towards her "brains." Princess Celestia placed a barrier around herself, Twilight and Princess Cadence. He tried hitting it with his decayed dead hooves and fired a magical energy laser from his unicorn horn but the barrier did not break. Just then to make matters worse the griffon/ changeling hybrids who it turns out weren't completly beaten and actually shape shifted into and impersonated several of the unicorn Royal Guards that they were fighting against back when they were fighting them in Griffala plus Queen Chrysalis and her changeling army/ swarm also showed up."
Princess Cadence suggested "we have to figure out what went wrong with the spell and perform it again when Shining Armor returns to life he and the rest of the Royal Guards can defeat and drive them away."
Twilight Sparkle told Princess Cadence "i'll help too Royal Guard for a day."
Princess Celestia told her faithful student "I know you'll do a good job Twilight."
Twilight told her "thank you Princess Celestia I won't let you down."
