Flurry Heart: The Disappearance Of The Baby Alicorn And The Desperate Search To Find Her

Pinkie Pie was sitting inside Sugarcube Corner as she was helping Mrs. Cake bring in some more supplies that they had bought for baking as the other supplies had been used up. She had to make sure that all of this stuff was put away or else they wouldn't have any more supplies to use.

While she was helping Mrs. Cake put the supplies away customers entered and bought cupcakes or other essentials as Mr. Cake watched the cash register. As they worked more customers entered Sugarcube Corner, among them was a pony cloaked with a hood.

Nopony paid attention to this hooded figure until she got closer to the front. Pinkie Pie didn't see her at first as she went to sort out more supplies but when she came back and served some more customers the hooded Pony came up to the front.

"Hello? What can I get you today?" Pinkie Pie asked in her usual cheery voice, the hooded figure spoke to her but Pinkie Pie couldn't hear her over the crowd of ponies that were taking so Pinkie Pie asked her again but couldn't hear her so she got closer to her.

"Can I talk to you in private Pinkie Pie?" The hooded figure asked. Pinkie Pie got confused as to why a pony that she didn't recognize wanted to talk to her. Pinkie Pie shook her head as she was polite as possible.

"You can talk to me right here okay?" Pinkie Pie said, the hooded figure shook her head and tried to persuade her.

"I'm afraid that can't happen, you don't understand what's going on, can I talk to you in private?" The mare asked. Pinkie Pie shrugged and let the pony guide her upstairs. Pinkie Pie was led into a room and the pony shut the door and locked it.

"Who are you?" Pinkie Pie asked the pony and she got her answer when Princess Luna took off her cloak. Pinkie Pie was stunned as Luna never went out during the day. She wondered why Luna was going undercover as well.

"Luna why are you outside in the daytime...you never go out during the day. Why are you outside and why are you sneaking around like this? It's weird." Pinkie Pie asked her. Luna quieted her before Pinkie Pie could distract her by accident by talking to her and she spoke.

"I need you to do a very big favor for me as nopony else is available to do this. I was looking at Princess Twilight's friendship map. As you know she is on vacation so nopony could check the map for any friendship problems. I was inside the Royal Castle when Spike came to me telling me and Celestia that the map was calling Twilight to the Crystal Empire." Luna explained.

"Why are you telling me this? Twilight's cutie mark is telling her to go back to the map to solve the friendship problem so she should go to the Crystal Empire and do her job. Why do I have to deal with this? The map isn't calling me it's calling Twilight. The map calls the ponies that can best deal with a friendship problem. Pinkie Pie asked.

"I sent letters to Twilight telling her to go to the Crystal Empire and solve the problem but she told me no. Your the official friendship ambassador to YakYakistan which makes you an Equestrian Official. Your the second pony that I trust with this." Luna said desperately. Pinkie Pie rubbed her forehead with frustration as she thought about it.

"Alright I will go right now. I'll tell you when it's done." Pinkie Pie said, Luna left Sugarcube Corner and Pinkie Pie told the Cakes where she was heading and why she was heading there. The Cakes said that they would take over for her until she got back and then she headed off for the Crystal Empire.

Pinkie Pie went to the trainstation and boarded a train that went to the Crystal Empire. As Pinkie Pie headed towards the Crystal Empire she hoped that she could solve the friendship problem, she wondered what the problem was about exactly.

While She was riding the train she feared that she wouldn't be able to solve the problem since the map didn't call her. She feared that she wasn't the correct pony to solve the problem but she had to try as she was the only one available to do Twilight's job for her.

She was mad at Twilight for refusing to do her job, she wanted to have a long talk with Twilight about refusing to solve the problem that the map needed her to solve. It made her annoyed but she decided to forget about it for now and just focus on solving the friendship problem.

Pinkie Pie decided to stop being mad though and tried to enter her pleasant demeanor that she always had. When the train made it to the Crystal Empire Pinkie Pie took a deep breath and made the happiest smile that she could make even if she was more annoyed than anything.

As Pinkie Pie walked to the palace she saw a lot more guards out than usual, it was very strange. She saw a group of ponies going back towards the palace.

When she got to Cadence's palace Cadence was outside to pull her in as quickly as she could. Pinkie Pie was put off by how fast Cadence pulled her inside. The door shut behind her as she watched Cadence with concern as Cadence hyperventilated, Pinkie Pie became very worried as she wanted to know what was wrong.

"Pinkie Pie you have to help me! She's not here! We checked everywhere! I looked all over but I can't find her! I put the Crystal Empire on alert! I don't know what to do or who to see! She's missing!" Cadence said. Pinkie Pie was startled by how Cadence yelled and panicked during the sentence. She decided to stop Cadence.

"Whoa Cadence! You need to calm down I don't understand what your talking about. Slow down and take a deep breath and then tell me what the problem is." Pinkie Pie said. Cadence stopped running back in forth as she tried to stop from crying as she spoke more clearly.

"Flurry Heart's missing! I don't know where she is! I looked everywhere in the castle but she's not here she's gone! She's probably dead! I don't know what to do!" Cadence cried. Pinkie Pie digested this new information as she wondered how Flurry Heart could get lost when she was with Cadence or Shining Armor most of the day.

"Well...when did you see her last? Where the Windows and doors open in the castle, because she couldn't get lost that easily. Are you sure you checked everywhere in the castle?" Pinkie Pie asked. More tears streamed down Cadence's face.

"The last time I saw her was in her room like usual before I left to go shopping as I didn't want the guards to waste their time for me so I went by myself when I came home she was gone. Please you have to help us!" Cadence explained as she cried. Pinkie Pie thought about the possibilities of where she might be.

"Alright if you want my advice then I'll say it. The entire castle needs to be searched immediately. If Flurry Heart isn't found we need to impose a curfew on the Crystal Empire ill explain more if that happens." Pinkie Pie explained. A look of worry crossed both Cadence's face and Shining Armor's face.

"But that would piss everypony off. What if they are mistreated if they are on the street?" Cadence asked. Pinkie Pie shrugged.

"Serves the dumbasses right. When we order the curfew they can either stay inside of get arrested. Yes I know that what I'm suggesting is against ponies rights but right now our top priority is finding Flurry Heart and getting her to safety. So start a search on the castle and if Flurry Heart isn't found shut everything down and order a state of lockdown. Get every guard to search everywhere! You have to do this Cadence." Pinkie Pie said. Cadence hesitated for a second but then told the guards the order and they complied.

The entire castle was search everywhere by every guard in the castle, Cadence was so nervous, she feared that something bad had happened to her little foal. She was so terrified. Pinkie Pie tried to keep her calm as Shining Armor led the search. Soon the guards looked everywhere and Shining Armor delivered the result.

"Flurry Heart is not in the castle I'm afraid she is missing." A guard said. Cadence's eyes grew enormous as she looked horrified. Shining Amour comforted her. Pinkie Pie tried to reassure Cadence and then she spoke to Shining Armor and the guard.

"Order a curfew immediately! Shut everything down. If anypony is still outside after arrest them. I also want every single house invaded and searched. Somepony might have kidnapped her. I know that might scare eveypony but we have to take caution with this." Pinkie Pie ordered.

"But Pinkie Pie that's against the rights of equestrian citizens." The guard protested. Pinkie Pie laughed.

"Do you really think I care about their rights to privacy right now? Our top priority is making sure that Flurry Heart is safe and sound and brought back here to her parents. Shut everything down!" Pinkie Pie ordered again. The guards looked to Shining Armor for guidance and he shrugged.

"Do what she says." Shining Armor. Told the guards. Shining Armor sent a decree out to the empire ordering a lockdown while Pinkie Pie went out to the balcony to deliver a speech as ponies gathered around the castle.

"Listen up everypony! Party pony and friend of Princess Twilight Sparkle is talking right now. Just an hour ago we have discovered that Flurry Heart is missing from the castle! Now I don't want you to panic and throw riots! I want a calm and order among all of you! I am officially declaring a state of lockdown. You all are to go inside your homes and stay there until Flurry Heart is found and is unharmed. I'm also ordering that all of your doors are unlocked so your home can be searched by every single guard we have here. While we are doing that I don't want any complaints about how your privacy is being invaded and if you try and lock your doors you will be arrested on the spot with no questions asked. I don't give a shit about your right to privacy or your civil liberties! And if anypony complains then they can spend the night in chains! Now if anypony is found to have hurt Flurry Heart or is found to have kidnapped Flurry Heart then you will be dragged out of your home and put in jail. Those are the rules! Get to your homes now!" Pinkie Pie ordered.

Immediately after Pinkie Pie stopped talking everypony rushed inside their homes while the guards arrested anypony who protested them. Some ponies who shouted tyranny were also thrown in jail. Pinkie Pie went up to the guards that were assembled in the hallway by Shining Armor while Pinkie Pie was speaking

"Search for Flurry Heart do whatever you can to find her. That's an order." Pinkie Pie stated. A huge group of guards left and started to search every where for Flurry Heart. Pinkie Pie turned to Shining Amor.

"Stay with Cadence and keep her calm I'll go and oversee the search." Pinkie Pie ordered.

"But Pinkie Pie I should be out there!" Shining Armor said. Pinkie Pie looked over at Cadence.

"She needs someone to comfort her. Go and do that. I'll make sure everypony does what I ordered and I will make sure Flurry Heart is found. We will find her!" Pinkie Pie stated. Shining Armor hesitated but ultimately went to comfort Cadence while Pinkie Pie left the castle.

Pinkie Pie ordered the guards to search every pony's house and that's what they did. Most ponies followed Pinkie Pie's order and allowed the guards to search the homes and some refused. Those who refused had their doors knocked down and dragged out while their homes were search. They were then thrown in jail for disobeying the the order. Pinkie Pie told the pony that they can go free after Flurry Heart was found.

Most ponies who saw this happened finally stopped resisting and allowed their houses to be search. Pinkie Pie made sure that all of the guards checked very single house on the next few blocks down. Ponies who looked suspicious had their houses search more furiously.

Some ponies who continued to resist were arrested on the spot. They of coarse protested this but Pinkie Pie reminded them that she didn't care and that they can be released after Flurry Heart was found. More houses were searched and more ponies were arrested.

Meanwhile Cadence tried to keep calm as Shining Armor reassured her that Pinkie Pie would have the guards find a Flurry Heart. The guards searched every single house but they still couldn't find any trace of a Flurry Heart. Pinkie Pie ordered the searches of houses that didn't result in anything to be conducted again.

More houses were searched and brought up nothing so Pinkie Pie ordered the houses to be searched again and they were. More houses kept getting searched as every block was patrolled by guards.

All of the stores were closed immediately as well. Pinkie Pie ordered the stores to be overturned and searched no matter how much damage was caused. Pinkie Pie also ordered an additional search on the local library so ten guards search Crystal Empire's humongous library but turned up no results.

Soon the guards who checked each building brought up no results as more and more places were checked. Flurry Heart was no where to be found and Pinkie Pie was getting very desperate. She got a bit worried as she thought of the possibility of Flurry Heart flying away from the Crystal Empire.

Due to not finding Flurry Heart Pinkie Pie ordered the outside of the Crystal Empire be searched and it was searched by every guard that they had. Cadence said that she had given up hope as she went up to her bedroom and cried her eyes out.

Pinkie Pie couldn't believe that this was happening. She didn't want to believe that Flurry Heart was possibly killed, the thought of that possibility sickened her. Since this thought entered her head she decided to order that anypony who was a paroled criminal be searched and questioned repeatedly.

The guards did what they were told as they questioned every paroled criminal about what happened to Flurry Heart and Celestia ordered a decree that this must be done in every place of Equestria.

This went on for an entire day and then after a few more hours a guard came and delivered the news to the royal family declaring that a Flurry Heart had been found to be safe and alive outside of the border Cloudsdale. Flurry Heart was returned to Cadence.

Cadence and Shining Armor celebrated Flurry Heart's return as they snuggled with her. They thanked Pinkie Pie profusely.

"Pinkie Pie I'm so glad you found my daughter. I was so afraid she was dead, thanks so much! I'm so glad you found her. Thanks so much for your help." Cadence said.

"Thanks Pinkie Pie. I have to admit you are a better leader than me sometimes you should have my job." Shining Amour said as he was relieved.

"No problem. I'm glad that she was found. It's okay you were just panicked so that's why you weren't up to it. It's understandable." Pinkie Pie said.

Questions immediately arose as to how Flurry Heart could get so far on her own and Twilight explained that ponies who are alicorns are stronger than the regular pony so since Flurry Heart was born as an Alicorn she had more strength to go farther than a normal foal could go.

From then on Cadence and Shining Armor kept all of the castle doors closed tight so that something like this wouldn't happen again. They also ordered Flurry Heart to be watched more often than she was now.

Everypony in Equestria was glad that Flurry Heart was safe. They were glad that Flurry Heart was found. Celestia gave Pinkie Pie a reward for her leadership in the search for Flurry Heart. Pinkie Pie and everypony in Equestria was glad that Flurry Heart was safe.
