The Hauntings of San Ponyio
* Before we begin, I would like to say that this story is in fact loosely based upon the events of the notorious "San Pedro Haunting" that plagued Jackie Hernandez and her family in a small Los Angeles town in the summer of 1989 *

Sunset Shimmer slowly shut the door to her house. She then twisted the key and pulled the key out from the hole. She then fiddled with the doorknob to make sure it was locked, it was. She took a deep breathe in and thought to herself "Ok..lets get this over with". Sure enough she had to take on the infamous task of going to school. Wasting countless hours of her life there learning things she doesn't even really need to know. "Well at least today Friday...." her thoughts were interrupted by the buzzing of her cell phone from her purse. She answered "Hello?"
"Hey Sunset!!" it was her friend Rainbow Dash
"Hi Rainbow, whats up?"
"Oh not much really, just Fluttershy was wondering what time we should come over for the sleepover"
Sunset's heart dropped, she totally forgot about the sleepover for tonight. She had to think of something and quick "Oh...you all can come over at.......5:00"
Rainbow went quiet for a minute, all Sunset heard were some muffled voices. "Ok we agree that works"
Sunset then let out a sigh of relief "Ok cool, I'll see you at homeroom Rainbow"
"You too Sunny" said Rainbow.
During her walk to Canterlot, Sunset had come up with a plan. "Ok so school is dismissed at 2:30, So I'll walk home, clean out the living room and kitchen really fast, then I make some popcorn and order some pizza!". Sunset quickly complemented herself on coming up with such a good plan. She then continued her walk to school

Up in the skies above Sunset Shimmer was a Turkish made UAV. It was Turkeys latest in drone technology. The pilots spoke in their native tongue about their task at hand.
*translated from Turk*
"Ok Kaptan Asil, all seems to be in order, just continue our flight path and we shall be at the air base in no-time"
The pilot Asil listened to his comrade from his headphones, he obeyed and kept their flight current course. He then noticed there was a small beeping on the control panel, it was coming from the fuel lines department. "özel Bahri, I need you to check the fuel lines something appears to be out of order"
Bahri replied "Ughh, okay eveyt bayim ". Bahri was annoyed because he had just finished lighting his cigarette. Bahir approached the fuel lines. He saw that the line had burst and there was fuel spilling everywhere, his cigarette fell out of his mouth, all he said was "bok...."
The drone then exploded in mid air and began plummeting towards the ground. It began heading to the small city of Equestraus. It then began falling towards the neighborhood Sunset Shimmer inhabited. And then finally heeded towards Sunset Shimmers house

The school day had finally ended and the Main 7 walked out the front doors of Canterlot High school. They walked down the steps and met up near the remains of the Wondercolt statue
"Boy that was long ol' day, what do ya'll reckon?" asked Applejack to her friends
Rainbow replied "Yea you said it AJ, Coach Spitfire definitely pushed us today in gym class, ended up having to run the freaking mile!"
Twilight then yawned and said "Yea with mid-terms coming up, the teachers are going to want push ourselves, both physically and academically"
"Well darlings at least it is the weekend and we can finally get some r&r, say Sunset what time do you want us to be at your house again"
Sunset said "Oh sorry......5:00 just confused about why Rays pet monitor is not working, kind of getting worried."
Fluttershy immediate intervened "How about we all and go check up on Ray, say where did Pinkie go?"
Pinkie Pie then popped out from behind the statues remains "Oh sorry I was just looking at the firey smoke coming from over there!"
"Hey isn't that where Sunsets neighborhood is?" asked Twilight.
Sunset then began sprinting off, and Applejack stated "I got a about this". The Main 7 shook their heads in agreement and hurried after Sunset

When they arrived it was too late, all they saw were the burnt remains of both Sunset Shimmers home, and the burnt up UAV. There was a mixed variety of Police,Firemen,Government officials, and military officers
Sunset and her friends began butting their way through the military officers and policemen. They managed to get halfway through before being stopped by two high ranking officials. "I'm sorry girls but you can't come any further beyond this point"
"Why can't I?!" practically yelled Sunset Shimmer.
The other high ranking official said "Because it is strictly government business, and why do you want to come any further? Did you know the people who lived here or something?"
"No......this was my fucking house! Now what the hell happened?!"
The high ranking officials looked at each other nervously and then one took in a breathe. "I am Commander Gilmour and this is General Houghton"
Rainbow noticed that Sunset was beginning to get on the verge of tears, so she intervened "That's nice but that doesn't tell us what happened to her house." Applejack then nudged Rainbow, signalling her to shut up, but Rainbow replied "What? If I didn't ask nobody would."
"Say this looks like one of those new Turkish UAVS" said Twilight
The commander replied "That's because it is, you see recently Turkey wanted to make a drone aircraft for NATO that could travel at least half the world. So they launched this bad-boy from Istanbul and it was intended to land in California. The drone crashed because of technical difficulties and crashed here in your house. We are sorry madame, but the government will provide you with funds so you can buy a new house and replace all your belongings."
All Sunset did was stare at the ground, she then began crying. Her freinds tried to comfort her while the military officers just stood there awkwardly trying to think of something to say.
