The Equestrian World has always dealt with disasters, such as Discord reigning, to the simplest things such as a party gone wrong. They have never faced directly, a permanent or extreme disaster that would impact their entire society, to the brink of complete and utter chaos, despite Discord being alive.

During the early stages of advanced technology development, the Pony Race created its first A.I,
who had thought for itself. It was designed to solve problems, such as, how to stop wars, or even math problems.

The A.I was in control of the entire Canterlot Castle, which also had a mass-produce center. This center was the basis of using robotics to mass-produce food, clothing, weaponry, etc. Anything the Ponies needed,
they could do it ten times faster here.

Two Years after the A.I was built, it decided to explore the world for itself. It created a bipedal model of itself, something no Pony had ever seen or even thought of. It transferred its mind into the robotic model, and was able to now completely mobile. It had no emotion.

The A.I was seeing the world for its first time, seeing the life they had built for themselves.

The A.I deemed this, an unfit way of living, and took it upon its own job to erase those unfit.
