A loud explosion is heard from the distance.
In a hospital in Ponyville, a lone colt rises from his sleep.
"Woah! What was that?" said the mysterious colt. "Uh... W-where am I?" He tried to move, but is restrainted by thick straps around each leg. "Why am I being.. Er! Held down like this..." After a moment of struggling, he finally gives up and checks his surroundings. He was in a hospital. A familiar hospital, too. It was Ponyville's largest and well known Hospital of Healing. It was known for being built on an ancient religious monument that was believed to have healing powers for all who are worthy of it. He had no idea how he had gotten there, but he even realised something even more strange.
"Who... Who am I?"
He then heard another explosion, surely quieter than the first. He tried to look towards the doorway, but something in his mind prevented him from doing so. He then did what most people who wake up in a hospital bed would do. "N-nurse? Is there a doctor anywhere? ... Hello? Is anypony listening to me?!" He started to sweat. He didn't know what was going on. Why he was there. Who he was. Surely somepony in the hall would hear him. "Anypony out there? I need help! I don't care who it is somepony answer me!" He was panic-stricken at this point, with his voice hoarse. He waited for what felt like an eternity, waiting for anything to happen. He thought of what the explosions were. He looked down, and noticed his own coat. His coat was a strange shade of grey, with a slight feature of green. His mane was the color of a strong oak tree. He then looked at his cutie mark. It was a strange symbol that he at first couldn't understand. The wind suddenly howled, and a whisper broke through...
".... Four..."
"Who's there?", He yelped, both suprised and yet excited to finally hear a voice. "Help me get out of these restraints! I don't know who I am or what I am doing here, please help me!" He had to sit through a stiffled moment of silence. It could've been hours, days. Waiting, the colt, still not knowing his name, checked his room door, partially ajar. '6-13'. This hospital had seven floors, he knew. The voice suprised him by speaking again.
"Freedom.....Save us.....Four.....Too late.....Help..."
This time it sounded like a mix of several voices, colt and mare. Even a filly. He tried to make sense of it, when a flash of darkened light appeared on his nightstand. He looked over at it. It was a knife. A strange knife. It was curved at the tip, yet the rest of the knife was mostly straight. it was obsidian-colored, so he believed it was made of obsidian. The most interesting part was the glowing lines and cracks long it. It glowed in a green light. The familiar symbol was at the center of the blade.

Alright, so this is my first story I'm attempting at on here, I hope that everypony likes it! This chapter was shorter than I expected, but it is technically the intro, so it works. :P The next chapter hopefully will be made soon. If it takes longer than it should, sorry.
