Canterlot City: Crystal Prep Academy; January 5th, 2018
Crystal Prep Academy, founded in the year 1875 and has stood as a testament to higher learning and unrivaled since its creation. It was a school that had the best teachers, the best curriculum and a strict code of rules that kept its students at the top of the mountain of greatness that had given the school such a magnificent reputation.
The school was also masterfully crafted both inside and outside as the many walls were layered with crystal much to the credit of the schools namesake. Every part of the building dazzled in the morning light as the sun shined bright in the sky even though the chilling winter cold had accompanied it making everyone scurry inside quickly. Of the many students now headed inside early to either study or chat there were three girls who were very new to this school and each of them was distinct and special in their own way.
The first was the youngest and the one with the wide eyed bright smile on her face as she gazed upon the brand new school that she and her two sisters would be attending. She had never really liked the 'class' parts of school whenever they needed to attend in order to stir up trouble and absorb energy but she ADORED extra curricular activities and classes that involved anything to do with cooking or baking and of course music.
She was dressed in the traditional crystal prep shadowbolt uniform that complimented her baby blue skin as well as her blue and indigo streaked hair which she had done up in a cute short ponytail as opposed to her normal longer ponytail. Another thing she did like about some of the schools they attended were the uniforms and these uniforms were super cute! With stars in her eyes and a wide smile the young blue girl said.
"This place is like soooooo pretty! It kinda looks like one of the castles in the crystal empire back home!" Sonata chirped with a cheery grin.
Next to her was the middle child and second oldest siren who unlike her sister had her arms crossed and sported a sort of pouted scowl on her face as if saying she really didn't want to be there but was because she had nothing better to do. She was unlike her dopey and ditzy sister; she HATED school.
Classes were a drag, teachers were annoying, other students were even more annoying, lunches sucked and by the time the school year was over? You go on summer vacation just to forget most of what you learned anyway! It was so stupid but of course she had no better plans than what her eldest sister had come up with and while she thought this was a bad idea that had a high chance of failure just like their last attempt at a High School? She couldn't argue with Adagio even if she tried....which she did...and she lost.
She wore the same uniform as her younger sister however Aria HATED uniforms and so in an act of defiance she would still wear it but she would wear it her way but the only change she made was ditching the bow-tie and opted for leggings like Adagio and she had kept her blazer closed. Her long purple and turquoise streaked hair as usual was tied into two long pigtails held in place with two star hair clips.
"This is such a drag; do we HAVE to mingle in with these snobby pricks?" Aria Blaze said with clear irritation in her voice. Why couldn't she just stay home and laze around on the couch? It's not like she wasn't probably gonna get suspended from this snooty place anyway. It always ended up that way for her when they attended prep schools or academies in order to seed chaos because Aria was a bit too good at it sometimes and it was sometimes unintentional.
"Ugh and these uniforms suck! I mean it's Friday! Haven't these people ever heard of dress down day?" Aria complained.
The final girl who stood in the middle of the two younger siblings was of course the elder and the leader. She had an air of dominance and grace about her that was natural as her beauty and yet underneath it all was a sense of intimidation that could be turned on at the flip of a switch. She was the most well built out of her two sisters as well, while Aria had a nice rear and hips; and Sonata had a bouncy chest and nice hips with a baby face? Adagio had hips, chest, legs and the whole nine yards.
She was simply beautiful and she was very confident in that and made sure everyone had something to look at. She wore the same uniform as her sisters but her skirt was just a short enough to show a little hip, her leggings clung amazingly to her legs, she had her blazer open and wore the bow-tie while also keeping the top two buttons of her shirt undone as to show just enough cleavage to attract a couple eyes.
On her hands were a pair of fingerless purple gloves and her lions mane of orange and yellow hair was tied back into its normal big puffy ponytail. She smiled a smile that would more likely be at home on a super villain and while she wasn't exactly 'evil' anymore, old habits died hard and her smile was one thing that would probably always be laced with mischief in some way but nowadays she tried to have it only be playful mischief and nothing world ending.
"Oh stop your whining Aria; this is going to be the sight of our greatest conquest yet!" Adagio stated as she looked upon the school and the students that walked along the hallways and her outfit was certainly turn a couple of heads and not all of them were male. Feeling in control of the environment Adagio walked forward, hips in full swing as her black uniform shoes clicked against the polished floors.
"Come girls we have business to attend to." Adagio said taking a look at the sheet of paper she was given days prior by the new principal.
"So what's the plan Dagi? Can ya tell us noooooow?" Sonata said growing more impatient that Adagio hadn't shared the full plan with them and she was so excited to finally know what it was. She knew it involved this school somehow but didn't know exactly what they would be doing there.
"Yeah 'boss' whats the big master plan this time?" Aria rolled her eyes with her arms still crossed and pouting.
"Oh very well I suppose I've kept you two in the dark long enough. Our plan here is quite simple." Adagio stopped at where the sheet of paper said their lockers would be located and after dialing in her combo she opened her locker and found her own set of supplies that were given to her as well as her sisters by the school board.
"You see after the battle of the bands its safe to say we needed...'time' to recover and in all that time what did we learn?" Adagio asked her sisters as she scanned through the different books she had gotten and then the class schedule that was given to her.
"That we are stuck in this world forever?" Aria replied snarkly
"That we don't have magic anymore?" Sonata replied as well
"That we totally still suck at singing because of those stupid raingoons?" Aria answered bitterly
"Rainbooms." Sonata corrected.
"Whatever" Aria answered curtly.
"Yes to all of those; however you forgot something. We are still alive. They let us live, the elements of harmony let us live. No banishment to Tartarus or the moon; no getting turned to stone. They gave us a chance to change and I don't know about you but after much misery and time to think? I say we give it a shot." Adagio finished saying as she placed all her books in her backpack as she addressed her sisters finally about what she felt they should do.
Remembering back to the battle of the bands she remembered the exact moment she knew that once again they had been defeated by Equestrian powers far beyond them and then chuckled semi-bitterly. "Do you remember when that first wave of those girls magic hit us?"
"How could we forget?" Aria said placing a hand where her gem used to be.
"Yeah it felt like that time Aria one inch punched me in the gut when we lived in China but in the throat!!" Sonata said throwing a pouty look at Aria who simply grinned and shrugged it off.
"What? I wanted to see if I could pull it off and I bought you noodles to say sorry" Aria said rolling her eyes but grinned just a little bit, if there was one way for Aria Blaze to get her jollies anymore? It was teasing Sonata just to see her throw a flustered temper tantrum like a child.
"Hmph you're a meanie!" Sonata said stomping her foot.
"And you're the worst!" Aria snapped back
"AM NOT!!" Sonata shouted.
"ARE TOO!" Aria snapped back
"Nuh-uh!" Sonata yelled
"Yuh-huh!" Aria snapped getting in Sonata's face.
"Meanie butt!" Sonata snapped using her most common insult against Aria
"Taco breath!" Aria shouted back at Sonata.
"Frowny McPouty Pants!" Sonata snapped now in Aria's face
"Stupid airheaded blueberry!" Aria got in Sonata's face and scowled.
"Flat!!!" Sonata grinned viciously and knew she had just hit a big trigger for Aria. She was VERY sensitive about her chest size as compared to Sonata and Adagio, Aria looked very flat. To further push this point home Sonata rapidly flicked Aria in the tit through her shirt which Aria HATED.
"Ack wuh why you ditzy little-owowowowowowoowowow!!!" Aria began to get red in the face but then felt someone grab at her pigtail on the right side and yank it strongly
The same was done to Sonata as he ponytail was given a powerful tugging by Adagio who also tugged at Aria's hair. This was a punishment that was usually used against them as their hair basically functioned like their fins back in Equestria and pulling at them hurt like Hell which is one of the reasons why Adagio was VERY touchy about people touching her hair. As she yanked their hair in different directions she smiled deviously at the two of them.
"Now didn't I make myself CRYSTAL clear at home this morning? What was it I told you two when we got to school hm? Ari?" She yanked and tugged at Aria's pigtail a bit hard and made her yelp.
"Gyah! T-To play nice! Owowwowow c-c'mon Gio let us g-goooooowowow!!!" Aria yelped wildly as Adagio kept yanking at her hair.
"owwy owwy owwy owwy!!! We'll be good!!!" Sonata flailed in distress hoping for Adagio to release them.
"Hm I am not sure I believe you; perhaps you two need..." Adagio's villainous grin grew wider as she was about to suggest something she knew Aria hated.
"Oh no...please...please I swear I'll be a good girl just don't-" Aria pleaded with her eyes but to no avail.
"A HUG!" Adagio said bringing her two sisters into a very powerful hug and kept them close together and pressed against her and she added lethal sweetness to her voice. "Now are you two gonna be good little dazzlings and behave like I told you?"
"YES!" They both replied quickly as they didn't want Adagio to crush them as she was much stronger than she looked.
"Goodie!" She released the two girls and smiled still turning back to her locker and grabbing two sheets of paper. One was purple and one was blue and she would hand them to the respective girl they went too. "This is our schedule; from what I have read we have most of our classes together but only have 2 classes when we are all in the same place and that's gym and history." Adagio stated
"Well at least we know what classes we will be surely acing at this place...well I mean I'LL ace gym; not sure about you two" Aria was very confident in saying that physically she was the strongest of the sirens and knew her way around a fight the best especially having gotten training in china many centuries ago from a legendary martial artist.
"Yes because we both know you are best suited for being the group attack dog and what better place to let you off your leash than in the gym." Adagio teased and looked over her schedule again smiling as she read over the different classes she personally had. "Oooh I've been given dance and art! Excellent for me; and what about you Sonata?" Adagio asked the youngest sibling.
"I got Home Ec and dance! Yay!!" Sonata beamed happily. She loved to dance just like Adagio did and she was the second best dancer among them.
Looking at the list again Aria then noticed something before all of their classes. "Hey it looks like we are supposed to go to some kinda orientation in the preforming arts center; wonder what that's all about"
"Only way way to find out, it's high time we dazzle this place" Adagio said with no shame in the pun she just made as she lead her sisters down the halls and while she couldn't sing anymore she could still whistle a melody and so she would whistle and hum the very same melody and tune they had used when they first arrived at Canterlot High School.

Crystal Prep Academy: Preforming Arts Center
The preforming arts center of Crystal prep was the sight of many a great acts. Plays, musicals, concerts, exhibitions and so much more. All of it had seen these grand walls and the even grander stage, upon which currently stood newly appointed Principal Cadence who was wearing her usual crystal and sapphire blue dress and blouse combo with her long flowing pink, yellow purple and indigo hair coming down her back to her waist. Around her neck was a crystal heart shaped necklace and upon her finger was her newly acquired engagement ring. As the students were ushered in by the teachers the doors of the P.A.C closed and everyone had taken their seats. Walking up to the microphone she principal tapped the mic with a finger and cleared her throat and spoke up in her normal cheery tone as expected of her.
"Good morning students and welcome to another fantastic day of learning here at Crystal Prep. I have a couple of announcements for you all before we begin the day the first of which is to welcome three new students to our prestigious school." The principal stated as she took the mic from its stand and then looked into the crowd. Unlike Cinch she had taken the time to learn the first and last names of each and every one of her students without the use of a clipboard and had actually gotten to form bonds with the students through doing announcements this way, as she scanned the crowd she looked for the students she sought to introduce.
"Now I know they are here somewhere...hmmm where oh where could they be?" The principal said and then grinned and held the mic out to the crowd of students. "Lets give 'em some encouragements ladies and gentlemen."
"Wow this lady is annoying" Aria rolled her eyes as they sat in the back lounging lazily in the seats
"She's pretty!" Sonata replied stating the obvious and it was true, principal Cadence was very pretty but then she noticed the ring on her finger and pouted. "Aw phooey, she's spoken for." She slumped back in her chair sitting Indian style.
"Heheh and when has that ever stopped me before?" Adagio said with a sly smirk as she had her feet kicked up on the seats.
"You do whatever you want homewrecker." Aria said begrudgingly and looked away from Adagio.
"Tch oh c'mon you still mad about that? It was the damn 60's Aria, swinging was the thing back then and I didn't hear you complaining while we were-" Adagio began to remind Aria of that time back in the 60's when they had done some drugs with a few hippie chicks and gotten wild in the back of a groovy van. Aria was always possessive when she had enthralled someone and Adagio was a lot more of a spiteful cunt back then when she was still absolutely evil.
"Shut up!" Aria snapped and flailed her arms at Adagio attempting to hit her to make her be silent and not bring up such an embarrassing memory. Adagio simply laughed and scooted away down the row of seats.
"Everyone shout out our first new students name loud and proud; MS.BLAAAAAAAAZE? ARIA HERE!!!!?" The principal shouted out over the mic which made Aria blush to her maximum.
"Oh no she didn't just-"Aria said in total disbelief that this woman just used her name in a pun like that. She HATED people doing that. What she hated even more was people laughing at it when it wasn't funny...least to her. Adagio and Sonata as well as the rest of the P.A.C. found it hilarious.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!" The two other sirens laughed, each holding their sides and Sonata trying to hold back tears from laughing so hard.
Aria was left a pouty blushing mess but not before shouting. "YOU BOTH SUCK!"
"Ohhh and it looks like we found her everyone!" Cadence teased lightly and gave a signal to have the spotlight placed on Aria and by extension her two sisters. She had read the profile on each of the girls and she knew that Aria was the grumpy one and therefore the easiest to trigger and Cadence being the sly woman she was at times just couldn't help herself. The students certainly got a laugh out of it and when it calmed down she smiled from afar at the three girls.
"Mind introducing yourself ladies? C'mon up, no need to be shy" Cadence welcomed them to come up on stage to be properly welcomed by her. Principal Cinch usually did something similar however she was much colder and not fun about it. 'I hope that old crone is happy in her retirement vila out in Manehatten.'
"Well you heard her ladies; now remember you two smile, wave and above all? Behave" Adagio said adding lethal underlined sweetness to her words as she got up from her position swinging her legs down off the seat which she had them propped up on. Standing up she would lead her sisters forward, it was a shame they could no longer sing otherwise likewise they'd have made this a musical number.
"Right-O Dagio!" Sonata chirped as she bounced up from her seat and followed close behind her big sister.
"Tch fine...whatever" Aria gruffly got up and crossed her arms. "But I ain't smilin' for these chumps, fight me if you don't like it Puffy" Aria said curtly with a sly grin on her face. If nothing else she would only smile because she was going to be in passive bitch mode and that meant ALL the snide remarks and retorts.
'Oh it is ON little sister' Adagio thought with a semi-sinister giggle.
"Just don't get yourself suspended on the first day, hehehe wouldn't want a repeat of Fillydelphia now would we?" Adagio teased as she continued to walk forward getting closer to the students and since she was front and center she was getting the first looks and she was liking what she was getting. Admiration from both male and female, jealousy of her beauty from MANY females and a desire to spoil her from just about everyone who looked like they had a bit too much money in their wallets. Adagio Dazzle was a woman of many smiles, she had practiced many different types of grins and smirks in her centuries living in this world and right now she was wearing her 'I'm bad and you all know it' smile as she strut her way to the stage with her sisters in toe.
"Oh c'mon that bitch was askin' for it and I warned her to hand it over or else; she should've listened." Aria said remembering with fondness the time they had decided to stir up chaos at a few schools in Fillydelphia and this one bitch who thought she ran the place thought it was smart to stand between Aria Blaze and the last slice of pizza on Friday. Sure she could have used her powers to make her just give it to her but she was ordered by Adagio not to in order to 'not rouse suspicions' or whatever, one thing you did not do is deny Aria something she wanted, she didn't like to hear 'No you can't have this' it made her angry; Adagio always called her a brat for it but she didn't care, if she wanted something she'd have it! That bitch snatched the last slice of pizza? Aria snatched her hair and slammed her into a locker and took the pizza.
"Hehhehe and then she tried to get you jumped after school! Biiiiiig no no...I hadn't seen you punch or smack that many people since that time in China when-ow!" Sonata began to recount a memory that was very painful for Aria and as a result got her ponytail yanked by her sister.
"Don't...you should know better" Aria said semi-threateningly
"Now girls....what did I say? Behave." Adagio warned them both and then turned her head to grin her 'you'd better fall in line or I will embarrass the fuck out of you right now' smile at them. "Or do you both need a hug?"
"NO!" They both replied and instantly stood side by side and hugged to show there was no ill will or bad blood.
"See?! Being good!" Sonata proclaimed hugging Aria to the point of lifting her off the ground.
"Yeah. Totally what she said....Sonata do me a favor?" Aria asked.
"Yes?"
"PUT ME DOWN!" Aria flailed.
"Oh...oopsy" Sonata released her sister and then looked around and scratched her head. "When did we get on stage?"
"Pleeeeease tell me everyone didn't just see you hug me..." Aria groaned as she got up to her feet.
"Hehehe afraid so dear." Cadence replied with a cheeky giggle. "Do forgive the unorthodox welcome, we are trying new things here...would you all like to introduce yourselves?"
"You'll have to excuse her; she is just SO naturally tsundere. You'll get use to her." Adagio said with a smirk knowing that term flustered her sister because even though she out deny it to death she knew it was true. Finally deciding that she had teased her sisters enough she gave a small bow to introduce herself as she walked up to the mic back at the stand and she felt a wave of nostalgia wash over her.
"I'm Adagio Dazzle, eldest sister and well like my namesake-" She struck a pose that involved her swinging her curvy hips and flipped her hair and moved her bangs away from her eyes toward the crowd in a semi-salacious manner, puckered her lips and put her palm to them and blew a kiss to the crowd who clapped and cheered for her. "-I dazzle anywhere I go. I am honored to have been accepted to such a lovely school to be among such elite students who share in my drive to be the best" Adagio praised the school and their drive to succeed and be at the top, while they may have changed this philosophy somewhat it still rang true that the Shadowbolts of Crystal prep loved to win and they loved to compete.
Turning her attention back to the principal she changed her smile once again now to the 'Flattery will get me anywhere and I know it' smile. Taking a look at her diamond ring she did have to admit it was impressive but Adagio being who she was? Saw this as a challenge. "And I have to say the head of the school is as gorgeous as the crystals lining the halls, ESPECIALLY with that ice on your finger; congrats." Adagio said with a chuckle and wink at Cadence who visibly blushed and for Adagio? That meant she found a crack and she would slip right through it.
Cadence blushed a light shade of red on her cheeks and looked at her right hand at her ring finger and looked upon the beautiful diamond ring that her fiance and brother to her favorite student Twilight Sparkle; Shining Armor had given her. She loved him dearly and was desperate to say 'I do' but he'd gone on military leave right after he proposed but she swore she'd wait for him; she'd always come back before and he would now.
"Hehehe oh t-thank you Ms.Dazzle, I can see you are also the most charming of your trio. And how about you sweetheart?" Cadence then turned her attention to Sonata who for the most part wasn't paying attention until she was called to.
"Huzzah whuh?" Sonata said turning her head to Cadence.
"She asked you your name dummy" Aria said rolling her eyes.
"Ooooh right! My names Sonata Dusk! It's nice to meet you all! Um when's lunch?" Sonata asked tittering back and forth on the heels of her shoes.
"Well I can see your the adorable one of the group; the three of you have the 3rd lunch period of the day at 12:45. And lucky for you its everyone's favorite lunch day; Buffet Day!" Cadence had said just the right words and as a result was giving a near crushing and snugly hug from the youngest siren.
"YAY!!!!" Sonata cheered after releasing the principal remembering Adagio's talk about 'personal space'. "I LOVE THIS PLACE ALREADY!"
"Hehehe glad you feel that way." Cadence then turned her attention to Aria who was still more or less passively pouting with her arms crossed. Putting on a gentle smile she walked closed to Aria. "And last but certainly not least-?"
"Aria Blaze but I'm pretty sure ya knew that after that toxic pun you made earlier" Aria said trying not to look at the principal and only at the ground.
"Well everyone else certainly thought it was funny but I can see you didn't exactly think so; I do apologize if I offended you" While Cadence was kidding in the beginning her intentions were of course pure, she wasn't like Cinch who more or less encouraged students making fun of each other or ridiculing them because she often did so herself but in a 'professional manner'.
Aria turned one eye toward the woman and raised an eyebrow; she didn't seem to be baiting her and was genuinely apologizing. It wasn't that the joke was insulting, it was just a bad pun and it caught her off guard. Aria hated feeling embarrassed because it made her feel weak and not tough and she was the toughest siren of the bunch in both attitude and in actual strength. Scoffing and rolling her eyes again she waved a hand in the woman's direction.
"Meh it's whatever I guess, I mean you were just kidding so...it's cool...I guess." Aria didn't like to hate people, it was just people usually gave her a reason. This woman while annoying was...nice and seemed patient so likely she wouldn't get expelled on the first day or suspended.
With a light giggle and nod Cadence would then turn to the other students in the crowd.
"Well then girls its certainly a joy to have you all here, would you care to tell us all a little about yourselves? A little or a lot it doesn't matter. What brought you here to our school? Do you have any goals or dreams?" This was a question Cadence had asked to all of her students, while not all of them had given her an answer; the ones that did? She saw great potential in them. This was especially true for five girls who were in the crowd as well and she was positive they were watching closely.
"My my my so inquisitive!" Adagio said with dramatic flare and a semi-devious smile that somehow only seemed natural on her face. "Well as to what brings we three here? Opportunity of course." Adagio said as her smile turned sly.
"Oooh and what might that be?" Cadence inquired.
"Why the oppurtunity to strut our stuff, to show our skills, to find someplace where we fit in as we are not as people want us to be...mhmhm that and well personally-?" Adagio looked out to the crowd and threw a wink at any and all in the crowd who dared to dream they had a shot with her. "-I'm looking to get to know each and every single one of you" She spoke her words with mischievous sweetness underlining her tone. Then turning her attention back on Cadence she spoke again.
"As for what dreams and ambitions we may have? I myself wish to see what this schools dance and theater arts have to offer and perhaps join a sport, gotta keep my figure you know" Adagio said giving her hips a slightly shake to show her point.
Nodding and trying not to blush to much Cadence took note of that and then turned her attention to Sonata.
"And what about you Ms.Dusk?"
"Uuuum I heard you have like a super neato cooking course here! I love food and cooking! Oh oh oh and art too!" Sonata of the three sirens was the most creative on top of being cheerful but not only that she was the best cook surprisingly enough. She was horrible at math, science and most anything that had to do with learning but in the kitchen somehow Sonata was almost professional as if it were natural to her.
"Oh then you are in for a treat! We just revamped our student chef program and as it happens have a brand new head chef in the cafeteria." Cadence replied remembering that Cinch had taken a couple of the more old school staff similar to herself with her when she had retired. This included a few of the chefs, coaches and teachers who were more like college professors; the type who would pile their students with homework with little regard for their lives outside of school.
Giving an excited gasp as her smile spread wide. "For realsies?!" Sonata asked with absolute excitement.
This got a round of chuckles from the crowd and Cadence respectively and she nodded in response. She loved this girls enthusiasm which was something this school greatly needed more of especially with the announcement she had coming up after she introduced the last girl properly.
"For realsies. So Aria how about you? What's the tough one of the group dream of achieving hm?" Cadence said with mild tease.
Thinking about it for a moment Aria shrugged. "I'unno, honestly I don't got much better to do but I guess I'll see how your sports teams stack up. What do you offer here?" Aria asked in a bored tone.
"Basketball, Football, Soccer, Lacross, Boxing, Wrestling, Mix Martial Arts, Swimming, Track & Field, Motocross, Roller Derby, Extreme Jump Rope, Extreme Frisbee, Kick-ball, Dodge ball-" That last one was a trigger of the best kind for Aria.
"Dodge Ball huh? Oh say no more where do I sign up?" Aria was a fierce lover of dodge ball and unknown to most? She INVENTED the sport about 200 years ago in Manehatten. It fit her style after all, throwing things at people and expecting them to dodge if they didn't wish to get hurt. She had a strong arm and a sharp eye so she was a master at the game, grinning a semi-sinister smile of her own she flexed a purple arm in a taunting fashion to the jocks in the crowd.
"Any of you chumps want a piece of me on the court come get some and no I will not be gentle with you" Aria said almost sounding like Adagio with how sadistic it rolled off the tongue.
"YOU'RE ON!!" Shouted Indigo Zap from the seats a few rows back from the front.
"Well, well, well it would appear we have a friendly little rivalry going on already! Well it is my honor, privilege and pleasure to welcome the three of you Crystal Prep. Now do go have a seat as I have one more announcement before classes begin"
"As you wish; come along girls. Thank you for the warm welcome Principal Cadence, expect great things for the three of us, I promise you we will no doubt liven up this place" Adagio said with full confidence and a grin laced with mischief as well as a genuine attempt to be polite without malicious intent. Not that she had any malicious intent and while she did resolve to try and have the dazzlings turn over a new leaf, old habits died hard and causing mischief was second nature to the three of them. Adagio in many was could be considering the a bully with how much she teased and poked fun at people simply because she could and often she did what she wanted to do regardless of any rules however she knew what limits were and knew only to push so far.
"What Dagi said! You'll adore us!" Sonata chirped happily as she followed behind Adagio. She wanted to genuinely make friends and have fun at this school and was confident that her sisters wanted the same thing, even Aria.
"Guess this place ain't so bad, so...yeah." Aria shrugged and was trying to 'behave' and 'be polite' like Adagio said and followed her sisters off stage to go back to their seats.
As they walked off stage each of them were given looks by the various students and they all recognized those looks. Adoration. They all looked upon them with a desire to want to learn more about them, to do things with them and for them and to the sirens who craved attention? This was nirvana to them. Each of them in their own way LOVED to get attention, they craved it like they craved negative energy. Deep down they weren't evil creatures really; all they truly wanted was to be loved and accepted. As Adagio leads them down the aisles of seats her eyes came to rest on a group of five girls who caught her attention; she wasn't exactly sure why but something seemed familiar about them.
From left to right they sat in the 5th row from the front of the stage. The first at the end of the the row furthest to the left was a girl with teal like skin and light purple hair with a yellow sun hair clip inserted among the bangs on the right side of her head. She had an air of elegance about her that Adagio instantly knew that she liked and the way she smiled at her when she approached them told Adagio that she certainly had some level of interest in her as well.
The second was a girl with cream color skin and she wore her uniform more similar to how Aria was wearing her's without the bow-tie. Her hair was an indigo and electric blue and upon her head sat a pair of bronze color aviator goggles. Aria could tell at first glance this girl was the most tomboyish of the group and most likely the one who had called her out to get crushed in dodge ball and this was confirmed when the girl shot her a grin that said 'you are goin' down!'
The third girl had also captured Aria's attention with how bored and uninterested in everything she looked. She had light purple skin and pure white hair that was done up into three pigtails with a hair clip on the side that had the shadowbolt insignia on it and upon her face sat a pair of orange glasses. She looked like a girl who didn't take shit from anyone and told it like it was; Aria admired that.
The fourth girl had caught Adagio's attention after the first one, one thing that Adagio found very attractive? Freckles. This girl had the cutest set of freckles and cream color skin complimented by fuchsia color hair that had a teal streak going through the middle. She had a smug yet sweet look on her face, she looked like a girl who knew very well how to lead and that told her that she was the likely self appointed leader of this group of girls.
The final girl was really the only one to catch Sonata's attention only because at first? Neither of them were paying attention but then Sonata's ears caught the melody coming from the girls pink headphones and she had recognized it as a song she heard online a couple of times. The girl had pink skin and lime green hair that was a bit wild and frizzy in the front with a chill smile on her face.
As each of the girls looked over one another the first to speak up was Adagio.
"So...mind if we sit with you all? I promise we don't bite." Adagio stated with a grin and chuckle giving a wink at the five girls. "Unless your into that"
"As LOVELY as that would sound? Pass. But you can totally sit here though." Sour Sweet said with her usual swift from sweet to sour but she had learned to be a lot less malicious about it as of late.
"So you think you can take me in dodge ball eh newbie? Good luck!" Indigo said pointing to Aria and this only made the middle siren chuckle.
"That right goggles? We'll see bout that" Aria said throwing a jab at the girls aviator goggles.
"Bring it pigtails!" Indigo replied quickly.
"Tch such children...you'll have to excuse her, shes...very competitive" Sunny Flare tittered and then looked over to her friends. "Well? Move down so our new friends can sit down"
"Friends?" The dazzlings repeated the girls words.
"Did she stutter?" Sugarcoat stated bluntly
"Well of course, you are apart of our school and class now, that means your a shadowbolt; and being a shadowbolt makes you a friend of ours." Sunny Flare stated simply.
"Well isn't that nice. Well if we are all going to be friends your names would be a nice place to start don't you think?" Said Adagio.
"Ah yes of course, where are our manners? I'm Sunny Flare"
"Indigo Zap" Indigo gave a greeting two finger salute.
"Sugarcoat" Sugarcoat said pushing up her glasses.
"I'm Sour Sweet" Sour said with a smile.
"And I'm Lemon Zest; so like question, have I seen you three somewhere before? Like in a competition or somethin'? Lemon Zest asked and this question sent slight chills down the sirens spines.
Adagio being ever the quick thinker thought up an alibi. "Well I doubt it, the three of us haven't really been in this area long. We just moved here a few weeks ago before the holiday."
"Oooh ok, guess it was nothin'" Lemon said letting the issue drop.
It was at this time Cadence got everyones attention again by tapping the mic and clearing her throat. She looked to be a bit nervous giving this next announcement and any students who knew her knew that her getting nervous usually meant bad news or REALLY bad news.
"Now everyone let me please have you attention, this next announcement is very important. As you all know I was promoted to principal some months ago after Principal Cinch had retired-"
This statement got a round of cheers from the students as each of them had made it very clear that none of them liked Cinch when she had left Crystal prep. The old woman had such hubris to believe they would be worse off without her but in truth they were very much better off than they had been in years and it was all through Cadence's efforts to unite the school as best she could as an educator.
However Cinch was a spiteful old bat and swore that she would 'ensure the legacy of crystal prep even if she was no longer in charge.' and she knew better than anyone that Cinch didn't make veiled threats and as of this morning? That threat was made good on; sighing as she used a hand to hush the students she spoke again.
"-now, now that's enough. Anyway ever since her departure the position of Dean has more or less been left open and while it has been taken by a few different staff members from the city none have decided to keep the job as you are all aware by now I am sure. However today I must announce that the position of Dean has been filled and it stands that she will be sticking around for quite some time." Cadence said with a hint of worry in her voice but then quickly perked up.
"She was handpicked by Cinch meaning that she has the schools best interest forefront in her mind and i feel confident that her interaction with you...ALL of you; will help her feel welcome here at Crystal Prep. So please give a warm round of applause to our new Dean and head of discipline...Ms.F-I mean..." She had almost slipped and announced the woman by her actual name and if her encounter with the woman was any indication? That was a bad idea. Clearing her throat she would try again.
"Introducing, Ms.Tempest Shadow."
As she announced the woman's name the chatter in the room had gone dead silent as the clicking of heels along the stage could be heard. As the curtains pulled back the woman revealed herself to the children sitting in the rows down below her and she looked down upon them all with blue eyes that could only be described as cold. She had a magenta complexion to her skin and her hair was a fuchsia pink shade that was done up in a sort of Mohawk with the sides of her hair shaved down low. She wore a suit that was all black and had shades of purple in the blazer and skirt. Around her neck was a pendant with the letter S and a lightning bolt through it.
She stood next to Cadence and was about the same height as her and the contrast between the two was very clear. The woman then took the mic from Cadence and took a few steps forward.
"Greetings students; as Ms.Cadenza said, my name is Ms.Tempest Shadow; for those of you who don't know who I am I am from here on out three things. First is the law, I will be in charge of enforcing the rules at this school and I don't cut corners. Second is your judge, all judgement and punishments will be handled by me and know that I shall not go easy on ANYONE. The third is optional. And that is that I'll be your WORST nightmare if you step out of line or cross me or any of the rules here, this school is one of excellence, no excuses and no nonsense. It has been for well over a century and that will not change simply due to a change in power." Tempest spoke bluntly and no one dared to speak while she was speaking and then she began to speak again after her first declaration was made clear.
"Oh and three things I will not be. First is a pushover, you cross me and break the rules? You pay, simple. No amount of pleading or begging will sway me. Second is your therapist, we actually pay for those so bring your issues to them, not me. Third and finally is NOT optional. And that is that I will not nor do I want to be your friend. I am here to establish order and enrich your minds, not be buddy, buddy." Tempest made that last part dangerously clear, almost as if the idea of friendship disgusted her. As she finished and stepped back she gave an almost wicked grin before handing thing back over to Cadence.
"So good to be back here at Crystal Prep, I can see this place has changed some since I graduated years ago but I can assure you all that it'll retain its glory, whether you like it or not. That is all. Dismissed" Tempest said bluntly ending the announcements and telling the students to all go to class walking past Cadence and sending shivers up the woman's spine.
"Um...Y-Yes, dismissed; and have a wonderful day of learning everyone!" Cadence said giving some final words of encouragement as the students began to file out of the P.A.C.
As all the students began to leave the Dazzlings had decided to go along the five shadowbolt girls they had befriended however that was stalled when they heard an icy cold voice call out to them from the stage.
"Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, Sonata Dusk; you three are to report to my office first." Tempest said phrasing that clearly stating that they had no choice as she left the stage to head out to her office so she could make it there before them.
"Heh wow first day and the new Big D is already grillin' you huh? Niiiiiice" Indigo nudged Aria and that pun got a chuckle out of the middle siren, dick jokes always made her laugh in some way for some reason and that one was just priceless.
"Meh I'm used to it, I mean I haven't done anything or committed a crime; heh Hell if anyone committed a crime it was a her hairdresser for giving her that punk Mohawk. So whatever I'm not worried, what's the worst she can do?" Aria said with a confident grin. Turning to leave though she bumped into someone and before she could get out a 'watch where your going' she looked up to see it was Tempest Shadow.
"You must think your pretty cute making fun of someone when you think they can't hear you." Tempest said curtly and had her arms crossed.
Aria grinned and now entered her 'cynic bitch mode' and replied. "Tch bitch I'm adorable."
The mouths of everyone within earshot dropped to the floor and Cadence who was close behind Tempest as she was leaving starred in wide eyed disbelief. She had to give Aria Blaze credit...she had BALLS. Tempest did not look amused however for some reason she smiled a wicked grin and chuckled.
"I'm gonna have fun breaking you; to my office...now" Tempest said as she walked by Aria who simply grinned a shit eating grin the entire time with her arms crossed. If there was another way Aria Blaze got her jollies? It was toying with bitches who had a stick too far up there ass and this woman had one so far stuffed up her ass it was a wonder how she walked straight. Turning to follow the new Dean the three sirens all smirked, Sonata was innocent and playful, Adagio's was smug and devious and Aria's? Aria's was a mix of smug,devious and sinister all at once as each of them all thought the same thing.
'This is gonna be fun'

Oh yeah, I went there! This chapter was gonna be more shadowbolt heavy but I need more time to full get into writing their characters first but rest assured that they will be as accurate as I can make them. As for Tempest? She is gonna be a hardcore bad ass hard-ass...if you are wondering if she will have 'a broken horn' of sorts...she will and the backstory behind it is gonna make the movie look childish by comparison
