Twilight sat in her room, staring at the ceiling. She wanted nothing to do with anything in the world at the moment. Every flake of snow that blew past her window, every creek sounding from the cold crystal walls, it did nothing but bring her torment. She just had possibly the worst day of her life. Not only did she completely humiliate herself in front of everyone in Canterlot, but she did it during a time of year when ponies had nothing to do but talk with each other, so she won't be hearing the end of it anytime soon.
"Ugghhh..." Twilight groaned into her pillow, hoping that it would suck her in so she can suffocate. "How could this get any worse?"
Suddenly, the door swung open, revealing the smuggest looking blue pegasus the town of Ponyville has ever seen. "Twilight! You absolute beast! I can't believe you actually did that in front of all those ponies!" She came in, expecting to see Twilight just as giddy as she was. "Uhh... Twilight?" Twilight didn't answer, she was too embarrassed to show her face, even to one of her closest friends. "Aww... Gee, Twilight. I'm really sorry. I didn't realize you were upset about this..." She rubbed her forelegs together, trying to think of something to say. "If it makes you feel any better, she said she'll forgive you as long as you promise to never enter within a 5 kilometer radius of literally everything she owns. And for the sake all our friends, you should probably get your issues sorted out." She stealthily reached under Twilight's bed, snatching her stash of Ritalin without her noticing, and storing it precariously under her wings.
"Just go away, Rainbow. Please." Twilight grumbled from under the covers. Rainbows face drooped and she turned to leave.
Rainbow smiled faintly. "Well, let me know when you're feeling better. Maybe you help clean up the mess. It would be sure to make you look better. Just be sure to bring gloves. We don't know what kind of crazy stuff that alien liquid contains. Speaking of alien liquid, how did you manage to...?" She was interrupted by a pillow in the face.
"I SAID GO AWAY! I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT" Twilight screaming into the echoing room.
Rainbow looked back at the door. "Well, I would, but for some reason, the door closed behind me and the knob magically disappeared." She said, mildly agitated at Twilight's aggressive behaviour.
Twilight's eyes shot open. "Wait, what did you say?!" Her voice was panicked, throwing Rainbow Dash off. Twilight bound up from her bed and ran to the door. "No, no, no, no, no! This can't be happening!"
Rainbow dash was perplexed. "What the problem, Twi?"
Twilight turned around, flailing her limbs as she yells her response. "The problem is that I enchanted the door this morning to make it so that it will close and permanently lock for anybody attempting to enter my room without my approval. Because I really didn't want you here, the door closed and now were going to be stuck here until we die from dehydration or natural causes!" She started hyperventilating and hugged the floor.
Rainbow remained silent for 15 seconds. "Umm, Twilight? How long does that stuff you took last for. I think you're still..."
Twilight shoved her hoof into Rainbow Dash's mouth, completely cutting her off. "Now listen here, Rainbow! If we want to survive these horrific conditions for as long it takes for rescue to arrive, you're going to have to do exactly what I say without question! Do you understand?!"
Rainbow considered asking her why she did this, or if she was being serious, but she instead just nodded her head to avoid Twilight's wrath. Twilight grinned maliciously. "Good. Rainbow Dash, you are going to sleep with me tonight." She said it light it was a demand. Rainbow's eyes shot open.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on a second here, Twi! I don't swing that way, and even if I did, you're my best friend, so that would make it weird, and you should at least treat me to a nice dinner first!" Rainbow was now just as panicked as Twilight was 1 minute ago. Twilight rolled her eyes.
"No. I mean we need to do it to conserve our core body temperatures, so we don't die in our sleep."
Rainbow's brain was on the verge of hemorrhaging. "Wait, are you being serious about this whole thing?!"
Twilight gave her the the most evil grin that Dash has seen since the one she made to Chrysalis at Shining's wedding. "More serious than you could ever imagine.
6 hours later.
Rainbow was trying her hardest to curl up in a ball, but couldn't because Twilight was spooning her like a cat would hug a poll. Her face was so hot, her cheeks could melt steel. Twilight loomed over top of her, smiling as she dreamed, presumably about books.
"Umm, Twilight? Can you move over a bit?" Rainbow asked, quietly. Twilight didn't respond directly, instead she mumbled something about how the fire in Canterlot library was actually an insider conspiracy designed by the griffons.
"Stupid greedy griffons. Think they can just come in here and subvert our culture." *Grumble* *Snort*
Rainbow sighed and closed her eyes, trying desperately to fall asleep. She was in a position where she had to either choose between freezing to death, or being molested by her longtime friend. Although, she is royalty, so that's still a definite plus.
"Maybe if I..." She tried to move her her legs into a more comfortable position, but Twilight wouldn't let her. She just kept whispering into Rainbow's ear that she was her favorite little snuggly wuggly.
Rainbow started tearing up. "I'm too young to be raped by a princess..."
Suddenly, she was saved, as the door exploded inwards revealing Starlight Glimmer wearing SWAT armor and a look of determination and confidence. "Twilight! Rainbow Dash! Are you in here?!" She immediately stopped talking as she saw Rainbow Dash and Twilight hugging so closely, their colors looked mixed together from the other side of the room."
A blush adorned her face. "Ohhh, so that's what's been going on." She turned to Rainbow Dash. "Way to go, Dashie. You sure aim high." She winked and walked back out.
Rainbow quickly followed her out. "Oh, Twilight. I'm totally pressing charges against you."
Twilight looked down, sadly. "Awww..."
