Twilight was surfing around the internet on her newly made computer. She was thrilled when she first saw the computer in the human world but sadly they didn’t exist in her home world. Today was different. She had finally managed to make a computer after TONS of research. Day after day. Night after night and today it was finally complete. Twilight had built it on steam power for now and somehow she had managed to plug the internet into all the human stuff.

Twilight was still amazed by the internet. She had been sitting non stop for ten hours, just looking at the magical screen, filling her brain with knowledge. Her friends had asked her to stop but she couldn’t. She just couldn’t. This was too great. Too much power and knowledge. She could learn everything, just by pressing some buttons. Nothing could ruin her time of happiness.

Until something in the computer did. Twilight was about to search for ‘My Little Cupcake’ to watch the latest episode when the last search proposal indicated something called ‘My Little Pony’. Interested in finding out what this ‘My Little Pony’ was, Twilight pressed the proposal. When Poogle appeared with the search Twilight’s eyes shrank to pinpricks. She was literally beside herself. Or more precisely, in front of herself.

The screen was showing a perfect picture of herself, down to the singlest detail. A moment passed and the freight she had felt before was gone. She saw a website called KissCartoon and pressed it. In there she still saw the headline as ‘My Little Pony’ with four pictures underneath. The pictures had one letter and a number beneath them. G1, G2, G3 and G4.

Twilight chose to start at G1 and work her way up but after one episode she calculated that this would take a lot of time.She sighed but continued nonetheless. The graphics were pretty bad but anyhoo what can you do? It looked like Twilight was in for a marathon…

To avoid misunderstandings and that kind of stuff, I would say that this now takes place in the ending of season 7. Or at least kinda like that.

“Hey Twilight. I didn’t get to fully ask you this. How is your feelings for Starswirl now that he’s back?” Starlight the unicorn asked. However the Princess of Friendship didn’t really notice her question as she once again had been reunited with her favorite computer.

With her bloodshot eyes and black coffee on her table she was ready for the last few episodes of season 7 G4. Nothing should disturb her while she watched her favorite show. Ponies should know what happens to those who betrays the princess.

After Twilight didn’t respond Starlight moved in to poke her back. What could make Twilight so weird? She quickly poked Twilight’s neck as an attention seeker but without warning Twilight’s horn lit up and shot a powerful beam at Starlight. It wasn’t lethal but it sure did it’s work. Without another word, Starlight galloped out the door.

Twilight turned back to the screen with a grin as she played the last two episodes of season 7. Feeling confident that season 8 was going to come soon she enjoyed what was soon to be the last part of the show…

“Lucky, I had a student of my own to remind me” Twilight finished with a hug and the episode ended with a black screen.

Twilight sat back in her chair, nipping her black coffee. She sat still for awhile. Then her horn ignited, her magical aura pressing the letters in. M-L-P-S-E-A-S-O-N-8. Poogle loaded in and Twilight pressed the first website she could find. when she got in there was a schedule for the next seasons yet to come. She read 2017: season 7, 2018: season 8, 2019:season 9, 2020… G5…

Twilight’s body froze entirely. G5. Gen 5. Generation 5… was coming in two years. She immediately searched for G5 and recieved a picture. A picture which startled her beyond believe. Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and herself was present at this picture only… different. Twilight’s horn was… gone. It was gone. She was an earth pony. Fluttershy was a unicorn. Twilight could fully understand it but when she put 2 and 2 together it all made sense.

Rage filled Twilight. Fluttershy would replace her! She needed to end her before it could happen. She had to do something at least… This can’t be right. Can it? Twilight closed the computer screen and teleported towards Canterlot. Something had been annoying her from the first day she began to watch the show. When she appeared in the throne room she turned to face Celestia.

“Celestia please you got to help me! If you don’t… I’ll be turned into an earth pony and Fluttershy will take my place! What can I do?” Twilight asked Celestia as calm as she could which means not so calm at all.

“Calm down Twilight, I’m sure there is nothing wrong,” Celestia said avoiding Twilight’s questions. Twilight noticed it though.

“Don’t go there Celestia. I know what you’ve done.”

“Whatever do you mean Twilight? I’ve been teaching you your whole life. If you didn’t know that you should maybe learn how to remember next” Celestia snickered while Twilight walked closer.

“I said STOP Celestia! Or should I call you… Lauren Faust!” Twilight yelled as Lauren’s face went serious. She teleported the guards out the door so she could have a more private talk with Twilight. The sun got lowered as well.

“How did you figure it out G4 Twilight?”

“So that’s who I am now huh? G4 Twilight? I’m not a toy Lauren! I’m a real pony! I know what you are going to do to me Lauren. I’ve watched all generations now. I’ve always been a unicorn. Why would you change that?”

“It’s just… since the movie… you’ve been getting a lot of hate so now I will try something new.”

“You can’t change me. I won’t let you. I have two whole seasons to fight you off camera. Then I will control the show. I will be the-”

Twilight was suddenly stopped when Lauren fired a magical blast at her. She slowly got up only to be put down again.

“You can’t stop the reboot G4 Twilight. However it looks like I can’t make the next two seasons so I might need to publish G5 right away to make you into an earth pony. I’m sorry G4 Twilight but this is the end of you. Next season is rated T so maybe I’ll have you killed for this treason.”

“You - oof - can’t do this to me! I’ve done so much for you!”

“You are just a toy G4 Twilight. I will see you in the next generation. I will press the reboot button.”

“NO! This can’t seriously be right.”

As Lauren levitated a button over Twilight fought against her as hard as she could. She soon found that it was to no avail.

“Sorry G4 Twilight, but this is the end of G4 and the E rating. I like T better anyway. Goodbye.”

Lauren pressed the button and killed everypony in the G4 world. The world crumbled together and G4 Twilight let out her final words.

“And I didn’t even get to see the final seasons :(“
