It's about an hour after the students of Canterlot High School arrived at Camp Everfree. After the safety rules and tent assignments, everyone began to unpack their things and settle into their tents.
Feeling slightly out of breath, Rainbow Dash went inside the Aquamarine tent, and wiped the sweat from her eyebrows.
"Whew, I think I deserve a little snooze after doin' all the crunches." Rainbow sighed stretching her arms.
"Dont'cha think it's a little early for you to be takin' a nap?" Applejack quipped, still unpacking her things.
"Nope." Rainbow answered. "We still have 30 minutes until the next activity, and I'm gonna take advantage of it while I can!"
"Alright. If you say so." Applejack said before retuning to her belongings.
Rainbow took off her sneakers, climbed onto her bed and sighed before drifting off to sleep.
While the two girls were preoccupied with what they were doing, a mystery figure appeared just outside the entrance of the tent. As soon as it was confirmed that Rainbow Dash and Applejack were too distracted to notice the figure, they went inside and hid on the right side of the bed where Rainbow Dash was sleeping.
Needless to say Rainbow tends to dream about sports, and the fact that she would sometimes talk about it in her sleep was more than enough for it to be a dead giveaway.
"And he makes a spectacular pass to Rainbow, as she make her way to the end zone. There is absolutely no stopping her! She going all the way, and she makes it to the end zone! It's a touchdown!" Rainbow mumbled while waving her arms and snorting every now and then.
Applejack chuckled. "Always gotta be the winner. Even in a dream." She climbed onto her own bed and began reading a book.
Rainbow continued to murmur in her sleep, while the mystery person waited alongside the bed for the perfect time to strike.
"And the next frame is underway!" Rainbow mumbled. "The player passes the ball to Rainbow and--"
WHAM!
The mystery person struck Rainbow in the stomach with a fluffy pillow.
"Huh?" Rainbow mumbled. "She takes a ball to the stomach?" She then woke up and sat herself upright.
Rainbow looked at the pillow, still on her body, and began to look around the tent for anything suspicious. But the only thing she saw was Applejack reading her book. She began to scowl towards the country girl.
"Anythin' wrong?" Applejack asked, taking her attention away from the book.
"Oh nothing." Rainbow replied with a hint of suspicion in her voice.
"OK." Applejack said before returning to her book.
Rainbow went back to sleep and resumed her dream about football. "The coach decided that it was a fowl play. The Wondercolts get the first pass of the next setting, as the big game continues." She murmured.
Just then, the pillow hit Rainbow again. This time, in the face.
"What the hay?!" Rainbow cried after shooting her body upright again.
"You sure you're alright?" AJ questioned. "You've been wakin' up a lot."
"Well maybe you have something to do with it!" Rainbow said accusingly, pointing at Applejack.
"What are you goin' on about?!" Applejack asked using the same tone as Rainbow.
"I know you're the one who keeps hitting me with this pillow!" Rainbow remarked showing AJ the pillow.
"No I wasn't! I've been readin' my book the whole time!" Applejack responded. "How am I s'pposed to know you kept gettin' whacked?!"
"I don't know! Psychic powers or something!" Rainbow quipped before getting struck again. This time, at the back of her head.
"Hey!" Rainbow yelled while looking behind her to see if there was any one there. There wasn't.
"Now do you believe me?" Applejack asked.
"Yeah, I do." Rainbow said. "But we still have to find whoever's pranking me!" Rainbow then went outside to see if there was anything suspicious. The only thing she saw was students talking amoungst themselves.
"Nothing out here!" Rainbow called out to Applejack.
Applejack went to look underneath the bed Rainbow had been sleeping on. Besides her sneakers there was really nothing.
"Nothin' under here either!" AJ called to Rainbow.
The two girls then went to look near Applejack's bed for any clues. Next thing they knew...
BAM!
Both of them were hit with pillows to the backs.
They whipped their bodies around and looked for any hints. But there was nothing.
"Whoever this person is must be pretty fast!" Rainbow commented.
"And sneaky." Applejack added.
Just then, Rainbow had an idea of who the prankster could be.
"Do you think it could be Pinkie Pie?" She asked.
"Nah." Applejack responded. "She'd be crackin' up by now."
"True." Rainbow added.
"You sure there's nothing under the beds?" Rainbow asked while going to check under her bed.
Applejack followed suit. "I'm pretty sure I didn't see anything."
The mystery person got up from under Rainbow Dash's bed, knowing that the two girls would come back to it eventually, and climbed onto the top of it.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash sighed and started to come back up after double checking Rainbow's bed.
"Yep. There's absolutely nothing." Rainbow sighed. "So much for taking a nap." She grumbled.
When they finally got on their feet, they saw who had been pranking them. And to their surprise, it was none other than...
"SUNSET SHIMMER?!" The two girls cried out in shock.
"Surprise!" Sunset Shimmer said with a chuckle.
"So you're the one who's been throwin' pillows at us all this time?!" Applejack asked, pointing at Sunset.
"Mm-hmm. I wanted to do something like this for April Fools Day. But it was Saturday." Sunset said.
"Oh." Rainbow and AJ deadpanned.
"Plus, I wanted to get back at Rainbow Dash for putting fake poop on my seat of the bus on the way over here!" Sunset added, pointing at Rainbow.
"C'mon! It was funny!" Rainbow yelled.
"And traumatizing!" Sunset added.
"Well, whatever the reason is, I'm just glad this whole shenanigan is over!" Applejack said happily.
"I wouldn't say that." Rainbow said with a devious grin on her face.
"What do you mean?" Sunset asked curiously.
"Well.." Rainbow began before getting a pillow from Applejack's bed. "THINK FAST!" Rainbow yelled as she threw the pillow at Sunset Shimmer.
Sunset ducked and giggled. "Oh, It. Is. On!" Sunset replied throwing another pillow at Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow ducked and the pillow hit Applejack right in the face.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Sunset apologize.
Applejack chuckled. "Oh, you're gonna be sorry alright!" She then grabbed another pillow from her bed.
"PILLOW FIGHT!" Rainbow yelled as the three girls started to pelt each other with pillows.
Twilight Sparkle was on her way to the gazebo when she heard screaming and laughing coming from the Aquamarine tent. She went over to check if everyone was alright. She poked her head inside and saw Applejack, Sunset Shimmer, and Rainbow Dash proceeding with their pillow fight.
"Is everything alright?" Twilight asked.
The three girls stopped and look at Twilight.
"Everything's fine!" Sunset answered. "We were just having a pillow fight."
"That Sunset started!" Rainbow added.
"Technically, you started it by callin' out the pillow fight in the first place." Applejack remarked.
"Whatever." Rainbow said, waving a dismissive hand.
"You wanna join us?" Sunset asked Twilight.
Twilight shook her head. "No, I'm OK. But I do want to get a picture."
Twilight then pulled out her phone and took a cute picture of Rainbow, Applejack, and Sunset continuing with their pillow fight. The fight went on until feedback squealed on the loud speaker.
"Alright everyone! Its time for our next activity!" Gloriosa Daisy said with a chipper voice.
"Well, guess it's time for us to go." Sunset said.
"Aw, and I was having so much fun!" Rainbow whined.
"I thought you wanted to take a nap?" Applejack commented.
"That was before the pillow fight!" Rainbow corrected.
"It was still fun though!" Sunset said happily. The other girls agreed.
Sunset, Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack then proceeded to the lake for the next camp activity.
"Next time maybe myself, and the rest of the girls could join?" Twilight wondered out loud.
"Now that would be fun!" Sunset replied, as they made their way to the lake.

My first story of 2018! I honestly don't know what took me so long to make this story, considering that I had a story like this in mind since a few months ago. Anyway I hope you all enjoyed, and please remind me of any errors and I will fix them! Thank you for reading! 
Also, I don't if you could tell, but I know absolutely NOTHING about sports! Especially football.
