Chapters You Must Admit (Chapter 2)
"I will try to be gentle." Fluttershy calmly said gently brushing the knots and tangles out of Twilight's mane. Whilst she did that Applejack and Rainbow Dash ran her a bath, Pinkie Pie baked some cookies and Rarity returned with her shampoo.
"Twilight.. you seem a bit down, is everything.. ok?" Fluttershy said, sounding concerned.
Everything wasn't ok. But if Twilight admitted that she liked Starlight, and not Flash, then who knows how her friends will react. Twilight just fake nodded and fake smiled and allowed Fluttershy to keep brushing her mane.
After Twilight's mane was all done, she went and had a bath. Her friends had lit 2 candles and placed it at the end of the tub and Rarity had left some rose petals to float around in the water and left her shampoo on the side.
"I'm so lucky to have such good friends." Twilight said to herself in the bathtub. She was dreading tonight, but her friends managed to make then 'getting ready' part actually ok.
Twilight had been in the bath for about 2 hours, as she had practically drifted off to sleep as it was so relaxing. While she was doing that Pinkie Pie decorated cookies by using icing to draw Twilight's face and Flash's face on each cookie. Her other friends were dusting and decorating Twilights castle for when Flash arrives to pick her up. The part that Twilight was dreading.
"Do you think she's looking forward to her date?" Applejack asked scrubbing the doors with a sponge.
"Of course darling, who wouldn't look forward to her 1 year anniversary date with one of Princess Celestia's royal guards!" Rarity beamed, eyes glowing at the thought of her and a member of the royal guards, watching the sunset together, and the same time as sorting out Twilight's curtains.
"I don't know girls. She seemed a bit overwhelmed when I was brushing her mane earlier." Fluttershy quietly said looking at the ground. "Do you think that.. she.. ISN'T looking forward to her date?"
Rarity shook her head in disagreement, but Pinkie Pie spoke before she could say anything, "Girl, check out these cookies! Hehe, they have Twily and Flash Sentry's faces on them." she chirped, then noticing everyone was giving her a glare for interrupting their conversation.
"Why is everyone looking at me funny?" Pinkie said suspiciously, but before anyone could answer, Starlight and Spike both entered the room which everypony was in.
"Wow guys, this place looks great! Twilight will be so happy when she is finished with her bath!" Spike said giving a thumbs up.
"Maybe.." Starlight said, remembering what Twilight had told her.
"Everything ok Starlight?" Rainbow said, hovering above the purple unicorn.
"I shouldn't be the one you ask that to." Starlight said frowning. She wanted to tell the other girls what Twilight had told her about no longer loving Flash, but she decided that Twilight has the rights to do that. Because Starlight was still waiting for an answer on who Twilight loved instead of Flash.
When Twilight was finally done with her bath, she drained out the water, and got dried. She then went to blow dry her hair and went to see her friends.
As Twilight stepped out of the bathroom, she noticed the castle was shinier then normal, the curtains had no stains in them and you could see your reflection through the ground.
"I can't believe they did this for me!" she thought, "If I tell them that I don't love Flash, I'll be such a horrible friend!" Twilight started to feel tears in her eyes as she spoke, and they fell down and splashed on the shiny ground. She tried to hold back her emotions, and entered the room her friends were in. Only to find them all staring at her. Everypony apart from Starlight, that is.
"You ok?" Applejack gingerly asked.
Twilight nodded and try to force her lips to smile.
"Flash will be here soon. Shall we go pick out your dress now?" Rarity said, smiling at her friend.
Twilight looked away from Rarity. She didn't want to pick out a dress for her date. She didn't want to go on her date. Suddenly Starlight walked over to Twilight and put her arm around her.
"Will you all give us some privacy for a couple minutes?" Starlight politely asked, holding the door open so the others could walk through.
They all look puzzled, but they nodded and walked out.
Once Twilight noticed it was just her and Starlight in the room, she started to feel better. Until..
"Twi, you have to tell them how you feel! They're not gonna stop till you admit that you don't love Flash anymore!" Starlight firmly said, patting the miserable alicorn on the back.
Twilight liked it when Starlight patted her on the back. Alot. She didn't want to admit that. Suddenly Twilight started to get really emotional. She could no longer hold back her tears. And so out of nowhere, Twilight started sobbing intensely and collapsed onto the ground infront of Starlight. She cried at the thought of Flash Sentry. She cried at the thought of her friends. She especially cried at the thought of Starlight not accepting her love for her.
Starlight didn't like it when Twilight cries, though it rarely happens. Usually it's Twilight who has to comfort Starlight from her sobs. Today it was the other way round. Starlight sat beside Twilight's head and put her hoof on her friend.
"I just.. I don't know if I can. They've all been so polite and caring, to help me get ready for a date that I don't even want to attend. And I'm too scaredy cat to tell them. I'm such a failure." Twilight helplessly wailed.
"I really think you should calm down Twilight. Your friends will understand. They're your friends. They just want you to be happy. If they knew you weren't happy, they'd stop giving you unwanted help immediately." Starlight said, trying to calm down her friend.
Twilight started to calm down a little, but it wasn't because of what Starlight had just said to her. Its because she never realized how much Starlight cares for her. All she wants is to admit her crush on Starlight. But she has to get through the tough part first. Finally, Twilight got up, sniffled and wiped her tears away. Starlight got up to and put her hoof on her friends back and smiled.
"You ready to tell them? I know you can do it." Starlight said which really did help Twilight get over he fear.
"I think I am Starlight." Twilight said, smiling back at her friend. And then, they both walked out of the room and Twilight spoke up.
"Twilight has something to say to you girls." Starlight said, nodding at Twilight giving her some reassurance.
"Girls, I have been dreading to tell you this all day after all that you've done for me, but--" Twilight started, but suddenly and quite unexpectedly, Pinkie Pie interrupted.
"You are sad that it's your one year anniversary because you really don't want to date Flash anymore and you've been dreading to admit this all day because of the way we helped you get ready but then Starlight told you that you have to tell us or it won't get any better which cheered you up from your intense sobbing and so you finally decided to come to tell us the truth." Pinkie said in a speedy voice.
Twilight and Starlight's mouths flung open, and her friends all stared.
"H-how did you know that?" Twilight said, eyes widening.
"Giiirl, we were totally onto you the entirrrre time." Pinkie said raising her eyebrows.
The others all nodded and said "Mhmm"
"Oh, Twilight, you didn't have to be nervous to tell us that you were upset, we understand." Fluttershy said with a warm smile.
"Yeah, upsetting your friends is so not cool." Rainbow said putting her hoof around Twilight.
Rarity and Applejack agreed and so did Spike. Starlight winked at Twilight as a way of saying "Told ya!".
Then suddenly, Pinkie shouted, "GROUP HUG!" and it was a special group hug because Starlight was in on it. Feeling her light purple hoofs around Twilights back was a great feeling and it made everything better.
"We must cancel your date with Flash immediately!" Rarity exclaimed grabbing a phone.

Feelings For Another (Chapter 1)
One morning in Ponyville, Princess Twilight Sparkle was sound asleep, drool coming out of her mouth, dreaming about stacking and reorganizing books in the castle library, and also dreaming about magic lessons with Starlight, until she was quite rudely woken up by spike.
"Twilight! Wake up! Wake up!" Spike yelled pouncing onto the Princess's bed.
"Huh? What? Spike? It's wayyy too early.." Twilight moaned peering at her alarm clock which read: 6:17am, then covering her face with her stuffed toy smarty pants.
Spike rolled his eyes at the sleepy pony and reached over for her calendar. He then grabbed a red marker and X'ed out yesterday's date and circled todays. He then grabbed the calendar from last year and turned to the same date. The 15th Of June.
"Look!" Spike said, grabbing Smarty Pants and tapping Twilight's head. Twilight groaned and peered up to see Spike holding up both calendars and pointing at the dates.
"It's been exactly one year since you and Flash Sentry started dating!" Spike said with a grin.
Twilight stretched her whole body out on her bed then finally sat up and looked at the calendars.
"Um, yeah, I.. uhhmm.. forgot.." She said trying to manage a tiny smile. Spike hopped up and down on the bed and then sprinted to the kitchen, he then quickly rushed back and peered through the door.
"Also, your friends are here for breakfast, just thought I'd mention that." Spike chuckled racing away in a hurry before he got told off by Twilight for not telling her sooner.
Twilights eyes widened and she started panicking, "Already?! They're here already?! Why so early!" Twilight said quickly making her bed. She had no time to brush out her mane or have a wash, she used her magic and quickly teleported to the doors to the kitchen and flunged onto her chair.
Everypony stared at the princess for a good 5 seconds. Rarity then broke the silence.
"Oh my goodness, darling!" Rarity exclaimed levitating a mirror and putting it in front of the princess. "What has happened to your mane?!!".
Twilight looked at her reflection and giggled nervously, "I had no time to brush it, I must've, um.. overslept." she said, then rolling her eyes towards Spike and giving him a glare.
Rainbow Dash then flew over to Twilight and sniffed her. She blinked, then put her hoof over her nuzzle. "P-U!" She said holding her eyes shut. "Not to be rude Twi, but you smell like rotten apples." Applejack glared at that comment, as in her opinion, rotten apples didn't smell THAT bad.
Pinkie Pie sniffed to, and she started flicking her tail in disgust, "You smell worse then rotten apples, you smell like a sad rainy day where no pony is smiling!" she squeaked, eyes widening at the thought.
Twilight frowned and moaned. She knew that this would call for a trip to the Ponyville spa, but she was really not up for that. Not on a day like this. But when Starlight Glimmer presented the pancakes, she felt alot better. She levitated a plate to each mare, each stack having a different array of berry's. When Twilight received hers she smiled warmly and thanked Starlight.
"They look delicious, thank you Starlight." Twilight said, forgetting about the mane and smell issue. Starlight Glimmer then went back to the castle library to help Spike dust the shelves.
"Eeep!" Pinkie squealed, diving into her plate of pancakes with strawberries and raspberries on top along with Twilight. But no pony else was eating, they were all still concerned about Twilight, seeing as it was her 1 year anniversary with Flash Sentry. They wanted to make sure her day was perfect, as they were her best friends and all. Rarity then looked at the others, and as of some type of communication, they all looked at Twilight (now with whipped cream all over her face) and nodded.
"Why don't you let us help you get ready for your big day with Flash, Twilight?" Fluttershy said fluttering over to her friend.
"Yes! We must help you - you can't possibly show up to your date looking like... well... that" Rarity said, cringing a bit at the sight of Twilights messed up mane. Applejack and Rainbow Dash nodded.
"As long as I'm not on bathing duties!" Rainbow said crossing her arms.
"Rainbow Dash!" Applejack scolded.
"Hehe, I mean.. yeah let's help!" Rainbow chuckled nervously.
Twilight gingerly shook her head and said, "I appreciate the offer, but I don't think that's absolutely nercessar-"
Rarity quickly interrupted, "Then it's settled! We shall help you prepare for your date!" Everypony shook their heads in agreement and walked to separate rooms to get hair brushes, hair dryers and Rarity went back to her boutique to grab her special shampoo she got from Zecora.
Once everypony was out of the room, Twilight facepalmed. Part of her didn't want to even think about the date, and there was a reason why...
"Hey Starlight, can I talk to you?" Twilight asked, walking into the library where Starlight and Spike were working.
"Oh sure Twilight, but I'm helping Spike." Starlight replied.
"I'm sure Spike can handle this just fine on his own. As he is the best assistant." Twilight said, winking at Spike. Spike nodded and continued dusting the library shelves
Starlight looked over at Spike then back at Twilight, "Ok Twilight. Let's talk!" she said.
Twilight and Starlight walked side by side through the long empty hallways of the castle, and then walked into a private empty room.
"Sooo..?" Starlight started, raising a brow, "What do you want to talk about?" she asked, getting comfy on a couch.
Twilight took a breath and begun to state her issues: "Well.. the thing is... I don't really know about this whole date with Flash, like.. I don't know if I wanna go." she said, looking down at the ground.
Starlight's ears perked up in surprise, and she responded with, "Why is that?"
"Well, it's just that I don't think I like him as much as I use to. He's fun and all.. but-"
"Buuut?" Starlight interrupted, eyes looking through Twilight.
"But, I don't think I love him anymore. But that's not all - I think I like some somepony else." she said nervously, hoping Starlight wouldn't ask who.
"Twilight, listen." Starlight said wrapping her hoof around her friend, "If you don't feel comfortable on going on this date with Flash, then that's your choice."
Feeling Starlight's hoof around her made Twilight suddenly feel very warm, and happy on the inside, and she broke a tiny smile, but then it went again thinking about her issue.
"I just don't know what to do... how am I meant to break up with him just like that? It'll crush him.." Twilight mumbled, getting a bit teary-eyed.
Noticing this, Starlight got closer to Twilight and gave her a hug, wanting to comfort her friend.
"It'll be okay Twilight, I promise. But-" she paused, looking up at her friend, hooves still around her, "Who exactly do you want to break up with him for?" she asked looking at Twilight as if desperate for an answer.
Twilight's heart was beating so fast she could hear it, she couldn't tell Starlight yet. She wasn't ready!
"Um, I don't wanna say yet Starlight, sorry.." Twilight said, looking back at the ground again.
Starlight looked disappointed, but she excepted the fact that she wasn't getting an answer.
"Ok Twilight.." she said in a puzzled voice. But Starlight was starting to wonder why Twilight wanted to talk with her. She had her other friends somewhere in the castle to talk to. But no. She wanted to talk to her. Starlight wanted to ask why, but she didn't.
Starlight and Twilight sat there talking for 5 more minutes, until Twilight was called by her friends to get sorted out. Twilight sighed and walked off to join her friends. All she wanted to do was talk with Starlight about how she will break up with Flash... because...
She wants to dump Flash.. for Starlight.

True Love (Chapter 3 - Final Chapter)
It had been a long day for Twilight. What was funny was she never had to worry about how she were to break up with Flash Sentry as he had already been cheating on her with another mare. Usually Twilight would be heart broken about this, but she couldn't be happier that Flash had done the cruel thing for her.
At the end of the day Twilight knew it was time. Time to tell Starlight how she feels.
"Can I open my eyes yet?" Starlight asked with a huge grin.
"We're almost there!" Twilight giggled. "Don't open those eyes yet!"
Twilight took Starlight up a big hill 5 minutes before sunset. As she reached the top of her destination she finally said: "Ok.. open your eyes!"
Starlight never opened her eyes quicker as she was so eager to see where Twilight had taken her.
"Wow!" Starlight gasped "It's beautiful!" she said, looking up at the sky ready for Princess Luna to raise the moon.
"Isn't it?" Twilight replied, then put a hoof around her friend and whispered, "I have another surprise for you aswell."
Starlight's ears perked up, "Really? What is it?"
And just as the moon rose, Twilight gave Starlight something she had wanted to give her all day and that was, a kiss.
Starlight blushed and said, "I-I was hoping you'd do that.." and kissed her back. The pair opened their lips for a deeper kiss. And then sat together and watched the moon rise.
As Twilight put her arm around Starlight she thought, "You know what? I thought today was gonna be awful, but it couldn't have been better."
Twilight had finally gotten the mare of her dreams.

Honestly I think this story could improve, not sure what I think about it. But hope some ppl like it xD
