Enter Captain Marvelous

It was December 21 2012 I was out shopping with my host family in Tokyo when it all happened, we were doing some last minute christmas shopping when some people started screaming and running away from we didn’t know what. But soon it was all to clear that some people had acquired military hardware and were causing chaos. We tried to run tried to hide but they found us and they claimed to be part of the new world order it didn’t matter to me as they were executing people to make sure they went unchallenged, I was tied up saw one by one people getting executed till it was my turn. I closed my eyes waiting for the end then suddenly nothing, no bang on pain nothing I opened my eyes to see a white void in front of me.

I wondered if I were dead, I could still feel my heart beating, while I looked around an old man came out of nowhere and explained everything to me apparently the end of the world was some kind of test and that I was a survivor and I had the opportunity to head to anywhere I wanted with anything I wanted and In a moment of weakness I took the offer.

I closed my journal and looked out at space and sighed it had been months since I took the offer and it has been lonely with only Navi to keep me company, that was not to say I didn't have any adventures along the way. I stopped by a few planets on they way to my mysterious destination.

I looked at Navi before asking “(So is this the Planet?)”

Navi flew around the room before saying, “(Yes this is the place.)” she then landed on her perch and said “Let's go treasure navigation!” And flew up into the ceiling before floating back down onto said perch “(Look in the mountain city for the Princesses Apprentice.)” she said.

She was being surprisingly straightforward today. “(So find the apprentice and get our first crew member got it.)” I said as I headed up to the steering wheel. “(Lets go in for a closer look.)”

‘A few days passed since the mysterious object was detected entering Mundus’ atmosphere’ the news paper read as Twilight and her friends were sitting at a cafe talking about the wedding Twilight was making it clear that there was something wrong with Cadence but her friends were ignoring her feelings saying that what she was seeing was probably just pre wedding stress. Twilight sat alone thinking ‘maybe it is just pre wedding stress maybe I’m overreacting.’ she then got up and started walking back to the room she was given for the wedding.

As she was walking back to her room she bumped into someone “Hey watch it.” she said.

“Sorry.” the person said as she was about to turn and leave. “Miss you dropped something.” he said handing her something wrapped in cloth.

She took it and gave a quick look at before saying “This isn’t...” she paused as he was no longer around “...mine.” she finished as she looked around looking for the person she bumped into to no avail. She then took a look at the device before putting it in her purse and walking away wondering what had just happened.

I stood on the roof of a nearby building with Navi “(Is the Tracker working?)” I asked.

“(Yes its working. Its tracking the girl.)” Navi said.

“Good.” I said as I took a hold of Navi and disappeared in a puff of smoke.

The next day I was hanging around the gardens looking at the statues while keeping an eye on the tracker I placed on the girl. As I was looking at this mishmash statue of creatures the tracker went off and the girl went from in the castle to somewhere in the mountain ‘looks like I tagged the right person’ I thought to myself as I readied myself for what came next. I headed to a secluded area and prepared myself.

I stood with the real Cadence about to leave the area we were in when a strange noise came out of my purse I reached in and found that the sound was coming from the device that I was mistakenly given, when I opened it up and a voice came out of it “Hey.” the voice said as I was confused to how this worked but the voice spoke again “Listen I don’t have much time to explain incase you didn’t know you were teleported into the mountain.” The voice said.

“Twilight what’s going on?” Cadence asked.

“I’m not sure, this thing is talking to me.” I said as Cadence looked confused.

“How could it be talking to you?” she asked.

“Because its not talking to you there is just someone on the other end.” the voice said as Cadence heard it.

“Wait whoever you are find princess Celestia and show this to her we need to hurry.” Cadence said.

“First off the name is Captain Marvelous and second I like the way your thinking.” The voice said as the device went silent and we went off on our way.

I went off to find Princess Celestia whom I guessed was in in her office. I left the secluded part of the garden and into the castle it was time to switch into Kakuranger. I pushed the button on my belt and the red Kakuranger key came out of it and I placed it in the keyhole and said “Gokai change!” as I turned it a voice shouted ‘Kakuranger!’ as I transformed.

I climbed the walls of the castle as I found a window to climb in and began sneaking around looking for Princess Celestia. Which wasn’t hard to be honest just follow a few guards and be sneaky while every now and then grabbing a guard and asking for directions before knocking them out I eventually found my way to Celestia’s study.

I dropped down and knocked out the guards I then changed back from Kakuranger back to my normal look before entering the study. When I saw Celestia she was a large woman with wings. She was reading a book before she said “Guards I said I didn’t want any disturbances before the wedding.”

I smiled before saying “Well maybe you’ll appreciate this disturbance.” as I pulled out my changer and pressed a button the communicate with Twilight in a few seconds Twilight answered.

“Captain Marvelous are you with Celestia yet?” Twilight asked as Celestia looked miffed.

Celestia was about to say something but I interrupted her “Twilight yes I’m with Celestia but let's get to the point.” I said.

“Auntie you have to listen to us.” Cadence said.

Celestia was confused when she heard the voice of Cadence coming from the other end of the Changer. “Cadence?” she asked.

“I don’t have long to explain but the Cadence that has been around for the past few days isn’t me it's a changeling.” Cadence said as Celestia looked skeptical.

“How do i know your telling the truth?” Celestia said.

“The code to your safe is 7397 and it contains your cake stach.” Cadence said as Celestia looked embarrassed.

“Alright I believe you.” she said as I gave a slight chuckle before Celestia asked” so what do we do about the Changeling?”

“How long till the ceremony?” I asked.

“An hour or so.” Celestia said.

“How far are you from escaping Twilight?” I asked.

“I don’t know I could try to teleport but I don’t know if I can make it with Cadence.” Twilight said.

“Save till you know you can make it.” I said before answering Celestia “If you delay the wedding the Changeling might suspect something and act accordingly so keep the wedding as planned and I’ll think of something to delay the actual marriage before Twilight and the real Cadence get there.” I said as Celestia nodded before I asked “Could you teleport me to the gardens before your guards wake up.” as she nodded and her hands glowed before I found myself back in the royal gardens.

An hour passed as the wedding got underway and Twilight was closer to escaping she just needed a little time. As I peeked into the ceremony hall and saw the fake Cadence walking the aisle. That's when I decided to make a show but before I could open the door I saw a roughed up Cadence and Twilight. “Are you captain Marvelous?” she asked.

“(Yes)” I answered and nodded as we entered the room I pulled out my gun and fired three shots at the changeling and she fell.

The entire room gasped as they turned to see me, Twilight and Cadence standing there. “Wait how can there be two Cadences?” a Rainbow haired girl with wings asked.

“There isn't the one on the floor is a fake.” I answered as the fake Cadence got up.

She placed her hand on the area where she got shot and noticed some blood, she then stared at me with great rage before exploding in green flames and transforming into another woman this one with greenish black hair and buglike wings. Before she could say something I shot her again but that only made her madder. “So who are you?” She asked.

“Ladies or whatever you are first.” I responded as she looked somewhat ether impressed or shocked.

“Very well I am Queen Chrysalis.” she said introducing herself.

“See that's better anyway you may call me Captain Marvelous.” I said.

“Good I’ll have it placed on your gravestone!” she screamed as she tried to rush me only to have a blast of energy to hit her in the back. “Who?” she asked seeing Celestia standing there.

“Your fight is with me Chrysalis.” she said as Chrysalis turned around and launched a blast towards Celestia whom inturned launched a blast to counter Chrysalis. It looked like they were evenly matched until the beam went in Chrysalis’ favor. It was to fast for me to turn the tides with my gun.

We all started as Chrysalis as she relished in the fact that Celestia laid down on the floor defeated we all saw outside as bug people which I assumed were Changelings were assaulting the shield. I turned to Twilight and handed her a Gokaiger Belt buckle that was used to summon Ranger keys but before I could explain why I was handing her this stuff the Changelings broke through the barrier. “We have to get to the Elements of Harmony.” Twilight said as they started to run off before I followed them.

As we ran I wanted to tell Twilight about why I gave her the belt buckle but we were stopped by a swarm of Changelings. I turned to twilight and said “Go I’ll clear a path for you.” I said as i pressed the button on my belt buckle and pulled out the Gokaiger ranger key “Gokai change” I said as I place the key in the keyhole on by changer. As I did this a voice shouted ‘GOKAIGER!’

The pink haired girl looked around and asked “Where did that voice come from?” as I just shrugged.

“(Lets go!)” I said running into the swarm of Changelings swinging my sword at a few of them and shooting a few more as Twilight and her friends ran passed the fighting to get to the elements. A few changelings tried to go after them but I shot them in the back “(Hey your fights with me!)” I shouted as they all swarmed me I pressed the button on my belt and the Dynaman ranger key came out. “Gokai change.” I said turning the key. ‘Dynaman!’ the voice shouted as I posed and a large explosion suddenly happened behind me ether killing or knocking away the changelings before changing back to gokaiger.

Meanwhile Twilight and her friends made it to the hall of the vault where the Elements were stored “How do we get in?” Applejack asked while Pinkie and Rainbow Dash were holding the door closed and struggling to keep it closed.

“I-I don’t know.” Twilight said looking at the lock before looking down at at the belt buckle Marvelous gave her. “Why would he give this to me?” she asked.

“You can focus on that latter darling we first need to get into the vault and save Canterlot.” Rarity said.

“I hope mr marvelous is alright.” Fluttershy said quietly.

“Oh i’m sure he’s fine.” Pinkie said trying to keep the door closed as her ear twitched “Hey do you hear that?” Pinkie asked.

“Hear what?” Rainbow asked while trying to keep the doors closed.

“I don’t know it's the same voice I heard before but this time it's saying something else.” Pinkie said.

“Alright i’ll bite sugarcube what did the voice say?” Applejack asked.

“Well first it said Gokaiger but now it said Jetm-” Pinkie started as Changelings burst through the doors and windows. There was little they could do and surrendered quickly and were taken to the throne room.

“Well,well,well if it isn’t my sister in law and her little friends.” Chrysalis joked as Twilight and her friends were dragged in. “Now where is the one that dared attack me?” she asked as a changeling whispered to her “What do you mean he flew away?” she asked “He doesn’t even have wings!” she screamed knocking the changeling away.

“(Looking for me?)” I asked as I was standing on a pillar before I shot down with my laser pistol.

Chrysalis growled before shouting “Get him!” i quickly flew around them and changed back to Gokaiger.

“Twilight use the buckle.” I said as I blocked a few chanling claws as twilight pulled out the Belt buckle and placed it on her belt.

“Okay now what?” she asked.

“Press the button on the top it's not fully linked to the box so only on key should come out use it with the changer I gave you yesterday.” I said before shooting a few changelings.

“Alright.” she said as she did as I instructed before she transformed “Gokai change” she said as she transformed into Gokai Pink.

“Good now mimic me.” I said pulling out my ranger key and placing it in my sword as Twilight did the same. As we prepared out attack a voice shouted ‘Final Wave!’ as We slashed the air and a shockwave appeared heading towards Chrysalis causing her to explode and when the smoke cleared Chrysalis was gon and a window was smashed behind her .”Well that's done go see to Cadence.” I said.

When everything was starting to be cleaned up we were in the ceremony room in the castle “Thank you Captain Marvelous.” Celestia said as Cadence and her husband to be were taken to the hospital.

“Thank you but why did you give me this?” Twilight asked.

“Simple before I kept got interrupted by the invasion I wanted to ask you to join my crew.” I said as everyone looked at me funny.

“Why the heck would she join you?” the rainbow haired girl asked.

Twilight gave a look to the rainbow haired girl before saying “Spike come here a moment.” as a small purple and green dragon walked up to her.

“Yes Twilight?” it asked as she picked it up.

Twilight smiled as she said “Say goodbye to everyone because were going on a trip.” as everyone gasped.

“Twilight why?” Celestia asked.

“Because it's clear you guys don’t trust me enough to at least hear me out.” Twilight said as she walked beside me. “So let's go.” she said to me I smiled as I pulled out my changer and pressed some buttons before dragging Twilight towards a window and jumping out as the Gokai Galleon flew by dropping some ropes to pick us up.
