Prologue

The events of Equicity take place in a land called Equus, populated by the race of pegasi for the most part. Pegasi in Equus have the ability to conjure magic at will, though only after thorough training and intense concentration can they achieve only the basics that magic grants them.

In this you will follow the journey of the complacent, smug yet loyal mare, Prism Sky, on her lifelong dream of becoming like one of her idols at the Skybolt military flight team or more commonly called ‘the smf’ or just ‘the skybolts’. However she will need more than just confidence and a massive ego to achieve this as the infamous, malevolent, masked mare known only as Nightshade and her imperial regiment, the Shadowstorms, intervene for the first time after the battle of rainbow falls which took place only nine months prior.

Who will she meet along the way and how will they affect her adventure? Will she survive the sadistic games that Nightshade plays or will she succumb to her own inner demons? Most of the answers lie in the pages of this book, though some, maybe be harder to find than others.
