"If you need to get your lunch box, please get it now." Miss Lavender Twist said. Scootaloo and her friends trotted over to the place were their lunch bags were kept. It was just another boring day of seventh grade. They had all three already started middle school, and were bored to death at the classes that they took here.
"Aww, Apples!" Apple Bloom started. "I hate this school!" She complained. Sweetie Belle was thinking to agree with her, but instead kept her mouth closed using her hoof. Scootaloo had been quiet for the whole day.
"Are you going to speak at all, Scoots?" Sweetie Belle asked her Pegasus friend. The orange filly did not answer with a single noise. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle continued to walk down the slippery hallways. They were being careful not to slip, as they passed the first caution sign. It warned them that they were walking on wet floors. The fillies passed it without a question.
"I'm going to bring these books to my locker." Scootaloo told her friends, just before cantering towards her locker. Sweetie and Apple Bloom waited patiently for her on the other side of the room. However, the flightless filly had forgotten the wet floor signs. Soon, Scootaloo was skidding across the floor.
Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom watched in horror, as their best friend started slipping and sliding towards the wet floor sign. The two fillies clenched their teeth as if they were feeling pain. But, the friends could never recover from what they had seen when they opened their eyes. Scootaloo was in front of the sign and had crashed into it, but if that was all, the fillies would not be surprised, would they?
Scootaloo's lips touched the sign. However, she did not take them off. She took in the sensation of kissing the inanimate object. Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom just stared on in shock. "What in the world?" Sweetie Belle stared at her earth pony friend. "What is wrong with her?" She asked.
The other filly answered. "I have no idea." She replied, still looking at Scootaloo turning red with blush as she kissed her new special, some-object. It was oddly disturbing to watch.
Scootaloo's beady eyes stared into the sign supposed "eyes" with deep love. Her eyes sparkled with admiration for the object. "Thank you for catching me, sweet baby." The small orange Pegasus kissed the sign again. Apple Bloom and Sweetie slowly trotted away from the pair of unusual lovers.
"Doesn't Scoots realize that that sign belongs to the janitor?" Apple Bloom asked Sweetie Belle in confusion.
"I don't think so." Sweetie answered. Scootaloo still had not joined the rest of the class in line for lunch. Instead, she was kissing the sign and sharing lunch with it. However, the wet floor sign was not eating a bit of the bologna sandwich that Rainbow Dash had packed her.
The orange filly shoved a chunk of bread and bologna in the "face" of the sign. When the sign didn't eat, Scootaloo blushed. "Do you want time with me instead, sweet heart?" The filly asked, dazed and seemingly in a trance of love for the object. Out of excitement, she imitated a voice to fit the sign. "I love you so much, Scoots!" She made the sign confess.
"I love you too, Sign!" Scootaloo confessed her reply. "Let's go to the cafeteria, sweetness." She pulled the sign closer and took off with it. Sweetie and Apple Bloom were sitting at a table, waiting for Scootaloo. She took a seat beside Sweetie Belle, and placed the sign carefully in the seat right next to her. Then, she pulled it closer, and kissed it once more. Scootaloo blushed so much, that she looked as if she was completely turning red. Her ears flattened in admiration for the object.
"Scoots, you should stop!" Apple Bloom yelled angrily. Everyone in the cafeteria immediately stared at Scootaloo. The orange filly suddenly looked up from kissing the sign.
"Stop judging me!" She screamed at them. "Sign and I are in love, okay!" She passed the statement off as if it was normal. Then, preceded to embrace the sign, while blushing. She then trotted out of the cafeteria. Out of curiousity, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle followed the two.
"I love you soooooo much!" Scootaloo said, before kissing the sign again. Apple Bloom opened the janitors closet, and saw Scootaloo inside of it.
"Sweetie and I wanted to be your best mares if you and Sign got married." She said. "There is no need to split apart a happy couple." "Sign did catch you, after all." Apple Bloom decided.
"Apple Bloom is totally right!" Sweetie confessed. "You are adorable together!" She squealed, as all three of them left school.
There they were, on a picnic blanket, at a candlit dinner. With the happy couple, Scootaloo and Sign. The candle light flickered as the flame burned brightly, However, Sign did not eat any of his food. So, the two third wheels ate it for him.
"You really do make an adorable couple!" Sweetie started to squee.
"Thanks!" Scootaloo said, even making Sign's voice. The two kissed for probably, the fifteenth time today. Scootaloo fluttered her flightless tiny wings with love. As Apple Bloom finished off Sign's plate of mashed potatoes, Scootaloo was taking Sign onto the swings near the playground. She was pushing him effortlessly.
"I wish my boyfriend was this light!" Sweetie complained to Scoots. The orange filly turned around to face her friend.
"It takes practice for your boyfriend to be as light as mine." She replied. "Maybe yours is just fat, Sweetie."
Sweetie Belle seemed to be fine with the statement that was used to bash her boyfriend. She just shrugged it off and pushed Apple Bloom on the swing next to Scootaloo and Sign.
But, suddenly Scootaloo stopped the pushing, and trotted over to a tree with Sign on her back. She plucked a feather from her small wing and began to write. "What are you writing, Scoots?" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle asked in unison.
"Just a fanfiction about me being in love with a wet floor sign at school." Scootaloo looked at the idea, as if it was strange. "I would never to something so weird in real life though." She said, cuddling Sign close with her wing
Why in the world did I write this???? XD
