Sonic and equestria girls
It was faithful day outside canterlot city, where we find a woman following a trail through Everfree Forest.
This woman's name was Celestia, she had light green, blue and pink stripped hair, white skin, she had a purple shirt and pants, and she had a brown jacket on.
Celestia was the principal of canterlot high, one of the best high schools one could be in.
It was currently the weekend and Celestia had decided to get some fresh air by going out for a walk, which led here to a well known path through Everfree Forest.
"It feels great to finally get some time for myself and not have work on anything related to the school." Celestia sighed.
Celestia continued on her way for a while before deciding to head back home. Before she can however, she suddenly heard what sounded like a baby crying.
Following the noise, she moved outside the trail before coming up to a bush that was concealing the source of the noise.
With great caution, she moved the bush aside before gasping at what she saw.
The source of the noise was in fact a baby (a baby boy to be exact), who had blue skin, (although there was very little) dark blue hair, and was unfortunately bare to the world.
Acting fast, Celestia took off her jacket before picking the baby up and wrapping the jacket around him.
After getting the baby into her arms, she began to rock him slowly until he finally stopped crying.
Once he was calmed down, the baby slowly turned towards Celestia before revealing his emerald green eyes to her.
Although Celestia was glad to see that the baby was fine, she was wondering why he was in the forest and why he was left there.
Despite all the questions she had, Celestia decided to make her way out of the forest while hoping she could find the baby's parents.
15 years later
We now find a teenage boy running along the same trail through Everfree Forest.
He was blue with dark blue hair, and with emerald green eyes. He was wearing a blue vest over a white long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and red and white sneakers.
His name was Sonic.
Sonic is the adopted son of Celestia and the fastest runner in canterlot high.
He knew he was adopted due to his mother explaining so and how it still remained a mystery as of how he ended up alone in the forest.
Despite that, understood completely and thanked his mother for taking him in as one of her own.
After running for a while Sonic had decided to take a short break.
"Man, nothing ends the weekend better than a run through the forest." Sonic said to himself as he took a deep breath, enjoying the forest air.
After a moment, Sonic decides to start running again when something catches his eye.
Not too far ahead of him, Sonic saw what appeared to be a orange orb that seemed to be floating in the air.
The orb remained where it was for a moment before floating off the trail and deep into the forest.
Although he knew it probably wasn't a good idea, Sonic decided to follow the orb in hopes of discovering what it is.
After following the orb for a few minutes, Sonic sees that it move behind a bush with no indication that it continued onward after doing so.
Acting cautious, Sonic slowly makes his way towards the bush before carefully making his way through it.
After making it to the other side, Sonic finds himself in a clearing.
Although he was curious about what area of the forest he was in, Sonic checked to see where the orb went until he spots something glowing on the ground.
Curious, Sonic makes his way towards the glow until he was able to identify what was creating the glow, and what he saw confused him.
Seven mysterious gems had seemingly been left on the forest floor, each being a different color (blue, cyan, green, white, purple, yellow, and red).
Knowing how there could be many reasons why the gems could be there, Sonic decided it was best to take them back to town and turn them in to the police.
'They may have been stolen and the thief was stupid enough to leave them in plane sight.' Sonic thought to himself as he eyed the gems.
After being hesitant for a moment, Sonic began cautiously to make his way towards the gems, making sure to be careful of any possible traps.
Once he was close enough, Sonic had reach down and grabbed one of the gems, with nothing happening as a result.
Relieved there was no trap, Sonic eyes the gem in his hand and smiled.
Before he could do anything else however, the gem in his hand began to glow brightly, with the other gems doing the same a second later.
After a moment, the gems levitated from the ground (or Sonic's hand for the one he was holding) and surrounded Sonic before they began to circle around him.
Scared for what may happen, Sonic tries to escape but before he could even move, the gems each shot a beam at him, causing him to let out a scream.
After a moment of this, the gems begin to slowly close in on Sonic.
Seeing this, Sonic tried to escape but found that he was being held in place, causing him to do nothing but watch the gems slowly move closer to himself.
Once the gems made contact with Sonic, they released a bright flash, binding Sonic before he last consciousness.
An unknown time later, Sonic begins to regain consciousness before letting out a groan.
When he opens his eyes, Sonic finds that he was at Everfree lake (a well-known lake in Everfree Forest) and that it was already sunset.
"Wait a minute, sunset!?" Sonic said to himself seeing that the sun was indeed almost down completely.
"I must have took a nap or something." Sonic said to himself, "Although I don't remember coming to Everfree lake."
Despite his confusion, Sonic decided to get a quick drink before heading home.
Once he got to the lake's edge, Sonic put his hands in before taking them out with water in them and moving said water to his mouth.
When move his hands down to get more water, he got a good look at his hands before freezing in place.
Instead of being their usual blue, his hands (and his arms) were now peach.
Looking at the rest his body, he was that he appeared to be a bit skinnier than usual (but was glad he still had his clothes).
Sonic then kneeled down on the lake's edge to see his reflection before freezing yet again.
What he saw was an anthropomorphic hedgehog staring back at him.
After a moment, Sonic lets out a scream that could be heard throughout the entire forest.

'How and why am I a hedgehog?!?' Sonic exclaimed in his mind as he frantically began ran around in circles.
After a few minutes of this, Sonic had finally calmed down and decided to think about the situation.
"Okay, I'm now a hedgehog apparently, and it's already sunset." Sonic said to himself, "It's pretty clear that I can't let anyone see me like this, but everyone will be worried if I don't come home."
After thinking for a moment, Sonic came up with an idea.
"I'll sneak back home and grab some materials, then, I'll leave a note for mom saying that I decided to stay one of my friends house for the night. Unfortunately, when tomorrow comes around, I'll have to come up with a new plan since there's school tomorrow, but I'm sure I can manage."
With his new plan in mind, Sonic begins to stretch himself before getting into a running stance.
When he took off however, he found that he was faster that a racecar.
"Whoa!" Sonic exclaimed before coming to a stop (Just in time since he was a foot away from crashing into a tree).
"Whoa! What was that all about?" Sonic asked himself as he saw that the lake was now completely out of his sight.
Although Sonic was unsure about his new appearance, he learned that his appearance wasn't the only thing that changed.
"So, I've got super speed now, huh?" Sonic asked himself before smirking, "Well, let's see how fast I can go!"
With that, Sonic takes off again, becoming nothing but a blue blur to anyone nearby.
It was completely dark out when Sonic made it home. Sonic had waited until no one was around before rushing into his house.
Once inside, he found that his mom wasn't home and decided to use the opportunity to get to his room.
'Mom isn't going to be happy once she finds out I'm missing, but I hope she can understand when I find a way to turn back to normal." Sonic thought to himself before entering his room.
Once inside, Sonic begins to make his way towards his dresser but stopped when he passed his body mirror.
Deciding to see what he actually looks like, Sonic began to examine his new appearance and saw that he was in fact, slightly skinnier now.
Sonic also noticed that his hair was turned into quills and that he had two smaller quills on his back.
Sonic saw that his face had slightly changed. He now had a small muzzle that was peach colored like his arms, and that his nose was now long and thin.
Sonic was examining himself for a while longer until he heard something downstairs.
Before he could get out of his room, he heard the voice of the one person he didn't want to run into at the moment.
"Sonic! Are you home?" Called the voice, who Sonic instantly recognized as his mother's.
'Aww crud!' Sonic exclaimed in him head before responding, "Yeah, I'm here mom! I'm just in my room!"
"Good, do you think you help me out with the groceries?" Celestia asked.
"Uh, I'm a little busy at the moment?" Sonic replied.
"With what?" Celestia asked.
"Nothing inportant." Sonic said.
"Is that so? Then it wouldn't be a bother that I come in and check on you, would it." Celestia asked as she began to make her way towards Sonic's room.
Hearing her approach, Sonic began to panic.
'Aww man, what am I going to do?!?" Sonic exclaimed in his mind, 'How exactly am I supposed to explain to mom that I was turned into an anthropomorphic hedgehog!? If only if I was my normal self again!'
As soon as Sonic made that final thought, he felt an unusual sensation around his body before suddenly being blinded by a bright flash.
It was exactly after the flash died down when Celestia opened the door.
Alright Sonic, what are you-" Celestia said before seeing Sonic in front of the mirror, "Oh, decided to see what a handsome young man you are?"
"Huh?" Sonic asked before looking into the mirror, only to see he was now back to normal.
"Well as much as you'd like to admire yourself you should go to bed, there is school tomorrow." Celestia said.
"Right, goodnight mom." Sonic said.
"Goodnight, Sonic." Celestia said back before closing the door.
Once Sonic was sure she was far enough away from his room, he let out a sigh of relief.
"That was way too close." Sonic said to himself before wondering, "But how was I able to turn back to my normal self? And what is with me turning into a hedgehog?"
As soon as he said that, Sonic was blinded by a flash yet again, and when it died down, he saw her was a hedgehog again.
Sonic was about to freak out about being a hedgehog again when a thought came into his mind.
"I was able to turn back to my normal self and into a hedgehog just by thinking about it, maybe I can do it again."
With that in mind, Sonic begins to concentrate by picturing himself as his normal self. And, as he predicted, he was blinded by the same flash before seeing that he was his normal self again.
Curious, Sonic began to constantly change from his normal self to his hedgehog form for a few minutes before deciding to stop.
Once he did, Sonic suddenly remembered about the gems he had found earlier.
"What were those things anyway?" Sonic asked himself before a mini flash formed in his hand.
When he looked, he saw that one of the gems (the blue one to be specific), had appeared in his hand.
Curious, Sonic begins to examine the gem for a while before letting out a yawn.
"I'll worry about this thing in the morning, for now, I'm gonna get some shut eye." Sonic said before looking at the gem.
Deciding to test something, Sonic closed his eyes and concentrated for a moment. After a while, Sonic felt the weight on the gem disappear from his hand before opening his eyes and seeing that the gem was now gone.
Satisfied, Sonic changed into his sleepwear before climbing into his bed.
"I don't know what's going on, but I'm going to do my best to get some answers." Sonic said to himself before falling asleep.
Later that night in Sonic's dreams, Sonic finds himself wondering around in a completely white space while in his hedgehog form.
"What is this place?" Sonic asked out loud as he stopped for a moment.
"You are in my sanctuary, Sonic." A female voice replied from behind him.
Turning towards the voice, Sonic was the same orange orb from earlier floating a few feet away from him.
"Who are you, and how do you now my name?" Sonic asked.
In response, the orb began to shine brighter until it reached the point where it blinded Sonic. But once it died down, Sonic saw a girl that was an anthropomorphic animal like he currently was, but she was orange, her quills were much longer and looked like the hair style most girls would have. She wore white gloves, a white shirt, a green skirt, a golden necklace with a blue gem in the middle, and a golden headband with a blue gem in the middle.
"To answer your first question, my name is Tikal the echidna, but you can call me Tikal." The girl now known as Tikal said, "As for your second question, I'm here to talk you about you destiny."
"My destiny?" Sonic asked.
"That's right, you were selected to wield the chaos emeralds." Tikal said.
"Chaos emeralds? You mean those gems you led me to in the forest?" Sonic asked.
"Correct, the chaos emeralds are power gems that hold unlimited power." Tikal explained, "Alone they can increase one’s abilities and turn their thoughts into power, but when all seven are gathered, a miracle occurs. The servers are the seven Chaos, Chaos is power, Power enriched by the Heart, The Heart is the controller, The controller serves to unify the Chaos."
"Thanks for the explanation, but, why me?" Sonic asked.
"You see Sonic, a future evil is approaching, and the chaos emeralds have chosen you to help stop that evil when it comes." Tikal explained, "And to help you to accomplish that, the chaos emeralds have provided you with some new abilities. And as you have already found out, incredible speed is one of them."
"As nice as the speed is, I'm still confused." Sonic said, "Why was I chosen? What else am I capable of? And what is this evil you're talking about?"
"As much as I would like to explain, I'm afraid I must go." Tikal said as she began to fade away, "But I promise I will try to answer any questions the next time we meet."
"Wait!" Sonic called out before being blinded by a flash.
Sonic woke to a start before being blinded by the sunlight coming out of his window.
"Morning already?" Sonic groaned before recalling his encounter with Tikal.
"So I'm the the one who's going to stop some evil, huh?" Sonic asked himself, "Well for the meantime, I better get ready for school."
With that Sonic gets out of bed and begins to prepare himself for school, unaware of how much his life has now changed.
