In the dead of night before an important test day Starlight Glimmer is hurdled horn first into a dreaded place - Tartarus! And without working magic she must find a way back to her home and friends before it is too late. As she is hunted by cursed creatures, she travels along with an odd guide where both learn to appreciate the true meaning of self-forgiveness and, of course, friendship.
