Chapter Three A Desperate Plan

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

I chose this path that in the hopes that both of these species could work together but from what I have seen so far is very different. First, the two humans are split apart, they don’t understand the ponies they are supposed to help, they lost the long-range transmitter, and they are miles apart from each other. I need to help them somehow but my power is limited. It is not what it once was so long ago before the war. “What am I going to do?”

“You can give them the power to understand what we say to them then leave them in the dark not knowing our language which is a very bad idea by the way.” I turned around to face the only pony who knows I am still alive and her name is Star Dust as for her appearance she had a coat that was dark blue with stars on it shining still. Her mane was a bright white and so was her tail. But her eyes were shaped and colored like the moon. She had no irises just those round white moons as her eyes.

She was leaning against the side of the entrance of my room. She then got off the side of the door and walked towards my desk and pulled up a chair and sat down. She looked at me waiting for a reply. “It’s not that simple you know that right? I can not use the power I have left so foolishly.”

“You have a point but if they are going to survive out there they are going to need all the help they can get.”

“But on a vain hope that they can achieve while so many have failed to tell me how do I put so much at risk for my last desperate plan to save this world and there’s with almost nothing left of my powers to be seen.”

“You said it yourself this is the last plan Discord you need to put everything you got on this plan for it to succeed. We are the people that ponies thought we were dead. And it must stay that way but if we die using our powers for good instead of bad then so be it. This world needs more heroes to save them than just two ponies. That is probably never going to see each other. So these humans must have an advantage that we can give them to survive what is ahead of them in this world.”

“I hate it when you are right you know that right? So be it they will have the power to understand the ponies they encounter on their mission.” I put my arm out and two white orbs appeared I then shot both orbs in different directions. “Good luck humans you are going to need it for the struggles ahead.”

Author's Note

This chapter was pretty short because I just wanted to give some explanation of why Discord is still around but the next chapter will be 2,000 words long and will continue on with the main story
