Chapters A book is shown opening and the page merges into an overview of the land of Equestria at night, as Twilight and a young male voice are heard narrating ominously.
"Friendship." Twilight said. "It's pure, wonderful, and amazing in our land of Equestria."
"I didn't have friendship until I met this young princess next to me." the male voice said.
Twilight giggles. "Oh, Webber.. you tease. Hello everypony, I'm the princess of friendship, Princess Twilight Sparkle." she said proudly.
"Webber Shadow." the voice says.
"And we're both here to tell you about the story of me and my friend's final adventure." Twilight said. "Our final adventure to bring happiness, peace, and harmony back to the land of Equestria."
"That's right." Webber said. "Once upon a time.." he sniggers mischievously.
"Webber, you silly goose!" Twi giggles. "Anyway, the adventure starts here, in the past. A peaceful night in Equestria, not a bit of danger around, me and my mentor, Princess Celestia, in Canderlot castle, and Luna looking out the balcony. What could go wrong on this night?"
After that bit of ominous narration to the readers and viewers, we're taken to inside Canderlot castle, with Princess Celestia, her sister, Luna, and a young foal Twilight Sparkle, and Luna is shown looking at the moon that she just risen up in the sky, and not a minute later, she spots a comet shooting out of the sky and into the Everfree Forest.
"Sister, a comet just hit into the Everfree Forest!" Luna said to her sister.
"Oooh, a shooting star?" young Twilight asks gleefully.
"No, an actual comet, Twilight." Luna says to the excited pony. "I'm gonna go check it out."
"Well, be careful, sister." Celestia says worringly.
"Yes, please be careful, Princess Luna" Twi says.
"I always am." Luna winks as she teleports to the Everfree Forest.
As Luna teleport away, smoke can be seen coming from one of the trees of the forest, and the title of the story appears in front of the moon.
"MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP VS EVIL"
Then we are taken to the present day, at the Castle of Friendship, a couple weeks after the Storm King's defeat, and Twilight and Fluttershy are seen in the main hall, talking to Webber, who finally revealed to be a stallion alicorn, with an all black coat, brown eyes, a Mohawk-like grey mane with black stripes in the middle, same colors go for his tail, and a black and white striped horn, abit bigger than Twilight's horn.
"Webber, we need to talk to you about something personal." Twilight said. "Where's your brother?"
"I'll get him over here." Webber said and nodded agreefully. "DEATHSHADOW!"
By shouting his brother's name, as an act of echo communication, Deathshadow teleports into the room. The alicorn is revealed looking abit like Webber, with a black coat, but instead with a longer, wavy, black and white mane and tail, white and black striped horn, and with one brown eye, and a white blind eye.
"You called me, baby brother?" Deathshadow asks to Webber.
Webber gritted his teeth in frustration. "Don't call me BABY brother, big bro!"
Deathshadow sniggers. "You are younger than me."
Twilight and Fluttershy giggle and nod in agreement to Deathshadow. "He's got you there." Fluttershy then said.
"Anyway, that's not important, Twilight and Fluttershy wanted to talk to us both." Webber said. "Something personal, right?"
"Yes, Webber." Twi said. "We wanted to know about both of your cutie marks?"
"Oh, um...", Webber said surprisingly. "We didn't think you'd ask that cause..."
Deathshadow cuts him off. "... cause we actually don't have cutie marks." he said.
They show the side of their rears to the the two mares, revealing nothing.
"I honestly thought any of you would notice after so long." Webber sniggers.
"Hmm, we never thought of that.." Twi said.
"We usually look at our own, but now that you two are close to all of us.." Fluttershy said. "I..I guess we never realized that you both didn't have cutie marks."
"Well, now you do." Webber says to Fluttershy.
Twilight then asked, "Will you ever get cutie marks of your own?"
Deathshadow replied, "That depends on our actions and what we'll do in the future."
"Which reminds me of the future that I have envisioned for a long time, ever since we defeated Malavolence." Webber said.
Twilight asked, "What do you mean? What vision?"
"Well, it's complicated, and apparently, I don't think it'd be a good time to talk about it to you." Webber said. "Specifically YOU, Twilight. I haven't even told Princess Celestia about this matter yet."
"Webber, you've always been honest with me." Twilight went up to Webber and put her hoof over his shoulder in great concern. "Tell me what's going on."
Webber then backs away. "Sorry, Twilight. Not today, but maybe someday." He then teleports away with his brother.
"Twilight, maybe he's right." Fluttershy said, hugging her friend. "This may not be the best time to think about certain danger. Equestria doesn't need that right now. We don't need it now. You certainly don't need it now either."
Twilight sighs, "I suppose you're right, Fluttershy. Shall we go see what the girls are doing?"
Fluttershy beams, "Great idea."
Elsewhere, Webber and Deathshadow teleport to the Everfree Forest, and look up at a large, red and pink, magical aura midair above them.
"I can't believe it, brother." Webber said to Deathshadow. "I can't believe you and me had the guts and know-how to create this secret cloning machine. It's so beautiful, don't you think?" he smiles proudly.
"Honestly, I think it's amazing." Deathshadow said. "I'm glad I gave you this idea, cause a clone of you could help with the problem that we haven't told Twilight about. 2 of you is better than one if you ask me." he smiles as well. "
"I agree." Webber said.
He then shoots a white magical blast at the machine above to activate it, and the machine starts getting bigger and bigger, until releasing a large flash, which Webber and his brother cover their eyes for, and suddenly, the aura completely flashes the area. After a minute or two, Webber and Deathshadow uncover their eyes, and to their amazement, the machine goes back to normal, and they look down at the ground to see a clone of Webber, laying on the ground, not awake.
"It...It worked.." Webber says as a tear goes down his face and he happily goes up to the clone.
The clone then wakes up, and looks at Webber. The clone is revealed to look exactly like his creator, but with surprisingly minor differences: his entire body is completely black, along with his mane, tail and horn, and his eyes are completely dark red. The clone had a deep, whisper-like voice.
"Wh..What just happened?" the clone said. "Where am I? WHO am I?"
Webber smiles. "You've just been born into Equestria. You're a clone of me, I created you." he said, hugging the clone.
The clone hugs him back. "I feel powerful, and relaxed at the same time." he said. "Why did you create me again?"
"I'll tell you about that later. This is a pure good moment here for you, me, and my brother." Webber says, as he looks at Deathshadow.
"I agree." Deathshadow says and nods.
"What will you name me, my creator?" the clone said. "Cause we haven't been properly introduced yet, have we?"
"Well, I'm your creator, Webber Shadow." Webber said. "And that's my brother, Deathshadow."
"Hi." Deathshadow says and waves greetfully.
Webber rubs his chin, thinking, then he gets the lightbulb of an idea. "I think I have the name for you, my double: Hallows Shadow." he said.
The clone grins happily. "Perfect!"
The 3 alicorns hug each other happily.
Author's Note
This story I had in mind for 3 years, and I want to make it into a reality, as in bringing the story to life on the screen of a TV, computer, all that stuff. But for now, I want to bring this to you people now to read. Cause why not? I hope you guys like the 1st chapter of the 10 chapter story that is, My Little Pony: Friendship Vs Evil. This is my vision of the last adventure that Twilight and her friends will ever have. After the whole thing of this first part is written, the next 9 parts will only get darker from here, trust me.
Back in the Princess's Castle in Canderlot, Celestia is sitting in the throne room, peacefully, until she's interrupted by a graspy voice, whispering in her mind.
"Princess Celestia, my aunt, I know you can hear me.." the voice said. "I'm still here, and I'm ready to come back now."
"Riptide? Why do you toy with me now?" Celestia said.
"To tell you that the day is coming." the voice said. "The day you've always feared. I will rise again, just you wait."
Celestia made a serious, yet worried look. "You will not defeat us, hope will always be here in Equestria!" she said.
"Not for long..." the voice said, and it cackles evilly as it fades away.
Celestia sits back down in her throne, shaking in absolute fear and sadness, and then suddenly, Webber, Deathshadow, and Hallows coming through the doors to the room.
"Princess Celestia, look at who I made!" Webber said happily.
The 3 alicorns look at the worried Celestia in confusion.
"Hey, Princess, wh..what's wrong?" Deathshadow said, as he went up to her to comfort her.
"I keep hearing voices of him." Celestia said.
"Who is HIM?" Deathshadow asked curiously.
"Wait, I think I know what she's talking about." Webber realized. "How did he get into your head?"
"I..I don't know." Celestia said. "One minute, I'm sitting here thinking of my sister, and the next minute, he's there. There has to be some reason why he comes to me."
Deathshadow hugged Celestia. "He's gone at the moment. We were actually gonna tell you about him, but I guess he beat you to the punch." he said.
"Indeed." Celestia replied. "You didn't tell Twilight and her friends, did you?"
"No, of course not." Webber said. "I didn't think it would be the best time to tell her, cause she looked too happy for any bad news like this."
Celestia sighed. "We can't keep this a secret forever, Webber. One of you three will have to tell her when the time is right, because I have a very bad feeling about this..." she said disappointingly.
"I promise to you, Celestia..." Webber said. "...one of us will tell her at the right time." He then looks at Hallows. "Hallows, that goes for you too, okay?"
"I promise." Hallows said to his creator.
"Thank you." Celestia said. "Now, Hallows is your name, right?"
The clone bows down in respect. "Sure is, Princess." he said.
Webber thinks to himself, "He's so much like me. I love it!"
Celestia nods to Hallows. "Rise." she said.
Hallows rises and smiles. "Webber created me." he said as he pointed to him.
Celestia looks at Webber. "Why'd you keep this cloning idea secret?" she asked him.
"Oh, I guess me and my brother just like to surprise anypony." Webber said and he giggles.
Elsewhere, Twilight and Fluttershy are visiting Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack is seen bucking apple trees with her brother, Big Macintosh.
"Hello, Applejack." Twilight says greetfully.
"Howdy Twi and Fluttershy!" Applejack said back happily. "What brings ya both here?"
"We came to see you." Fluttershy says and smiles.
Twilight looks at Big Macintosh. "You having a good day with your sister, Big Mac?" she asked him.
Big Macintosh replies with a simple, "Eeyup." and he smiles at the 2 mares.
Twilight looks back at Applejack. "You want to come by my castle later today, Applejack?" she asked her. "Me and Fluttershy were thinking of having a sleepover with me, her, you, and the rest of the girls." she then said.
Applejack beams. "Love to, Twi! That'll be fun." she says happily.
Fluttershy shyly cheers, "Yay!"
Then later, Twilight and Fluttershy visit Rarity next at her boutique. Twi knocks on the door.
A familiar accent voice is heard. "Coming!"
The door opens to reveal Rarity, with her shades on.
"Oh, Twilight, Fluttershy, hello darlings!" she says greetfully and happily.
"Hi Rarity!" both Twi and Shy say back happily.
"Would you mind us coming in?" Twilight asks.
"Not at all, dear." Rarity said, opening the door.
The two mares walk into Rarity's boutique and look around. Suddenly, Twilight spots Spike, sitting on a sofa, lovestruck.
"Spike! There you are!" Twilight said to the little dragon, rolling her eyes, but still smiling.
Spike shakes his head, to snap out of his daze, and looks at Twilight. "Twilight, um...I was uh..." he says nervously and awkwardly.
Rarity walks up to the mare and dragon. "Spike was helping me with my designs. We're still working on them." she says.
"Understandable" Twilight says. "Will you be back sometime later today, Spike?" she asks the dragon.
"Of course. Why do you ask?" Spike asks back at the mare.
Fluttershy comes up. "Me and Twilight are thinking of having a sleepover back at her castle, and we wondered if you and Rarity wanted to join us?" she asked.
"We already asked Applejack, and she joined." Twilight said with a smile.
Rarity beams and flutters her eyelashes. "Oh, we'd certainly would love to join the sleepover, darlings." she said.
"I agree" Spike then said with a smile.
Twilight beams. "Great, we'l see you tonight then, you two!" she said.
Then elsewhere, outside of Equestria in a darkened area, a large black and dark red aura is seen flashing and suddenly, an alicorn pops out from it. An alicorn with an entirely black body, red irises of his eyes, a large horn, and a wavy/spiky mane and tail that is all black just like his horn and the rest of his body. His voice comes out all distorted.
"Ahh, what a rush!" the alicorn said, grinning evilly.
The graspy voice is heard again, coming into the alicorn's mind. "Finally, somepony worthy to be my apprentice." the voice said.
The alicorn looks around in confusion. "Who is that? What do you mean by APPRENTICE?" he asked.
"I saw you pop out of that thing. I know what you are. And I want you to join me." the voice told him.
"Why join you?" the alicorn then asks.
"Cause I know you're evil." the voice said. "You were created behind your creator's will, and I can feel your hatred and insanity inside of you. Makes you stronger, it does." it said.
"Wow, very observant, you are." the alicorn said. "What would you offer me if I join you?" he asked to the voice.
"A better, more powerful life." he said. "I know who you're after, and I will give you life that will give you the tools to defeat and taunt him, after you die in battle. We just have to lure him to us."
"I don't suppose you have a plan for that...master?" the alicorn asked him and smiles evilly.
"The perfect plan." the voice says and cackles.
A Misunderstanding Leads To A Betrayal
Meanwhile, back in Equestria, Twilight and Fluttershy visit Rainbow Dash in Cloudsdale, who's racing with the Wonderbolts. The two mares look around for Rainbow as she's nowhere to be seen with the Wonderbolts.
"Where's Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked, looking around.
"I don't know, but she's here, I know it." Twilight said to her friend.
Suddenly, a large streak of rainbow colors is shown in front of them, and the two mares look to see the source of the colors, and they see Rainbow flying fast in a couple circles.
"Rainbow, over here!" Twilight shouts and waves her hoof.
Rainbow Dash hears this and comes up to the two mares, although still flying in midair. "Hello, Twilight, Fluttershy!" she said greetfully. "You girls come to see me race?" she then asks.
"No, actually." Fluttershy said. "We wondered if you wanted to join us and the rest of the girls for a sleepover tonight?" she asks Dash.
"I'm so down for that, girls! Of course I'll come." Rainbow says happily.
"Good!" Twilight says with a smile.
Later, Webber, Deathshadow, and Hallows walk out of the Canderlot castle, and ponies look at Hallows confusingly.
"Everypony's looking at me weird." Hallows said nervously.
"Obviously they will be, cause you look exactly like me, Hallows." Webber said back to his clone.
"I guess you're right." Hallows said, trying to relax. "Nothing to worry about."
Deathshadow intervened. "What should we do now?" he asked. "Since we just helped Celestia out with the...problem..she was having, now I'm bored" he said, sniggering.
"How about we go back and see what Twilight and Fluttershy are doing?" Webber suggested. "If Shy is still there at least" he then said, laughing abit.
"This could be my chance to meet these ponies you're both talking about." Hallows said, smiling.
"That's right, my clone." Webber said. "Let's go!"
Back with Twilight and Fluttershy, the two mares finally visit Pinkie Pie at her bakery.
Twilight knocks on the door. "Pinkie, it's me and Fluttershy!" she said.
"Come on in!" Pinkie said, from inside.
The two mares open the door and walk in, only till seconds later, to be surprised by two of Pinkie's confetti cannons, shooting confetti in their faces. Fluttershy screams, being startled, and hides behind the open door. Then Pinkie suddenly pops up from out of nowhere.
"Hiya, Twilight, Fluttershy!" she said, bouncing around the two mares, much to their surprise.
"Pinkie, you just scared Shy!" Twi said and giggled. "You need to stop surprising everypony who walks through the door, some of them, like her, can't take it" she then said, still giggling.
"S..She..She's right, P...Pinkie..." a scared Fluttershy said. "You s..startled m...me...."
Pinkie smiles and pulls her away from the door, and closes it. "Aw, Fluttershy, you know me. I'm always looking for some great cheer out of anypony." she said gleefully.
Fluttershy stops shaking and shyly smiles. "You're right." she says.
"Anyway, that's not important." Twilight said. "We came here to ask if you wanted to join us and the girls for a sleepover tonight?" she asks Pinkie.
Pinkie squeals in delight. "I will, I will, I will, I WILL!" she says and bounces happily.
Twilight smiles. "Then that's all the girls."
Later, Twi and Shy walk out of Pinkie's bakery with some cupcakes, and they run into Webber, Deathshadow, and Hallows.
"Oh, Webber, Deathshadow!" she exclaimed. "Funny running into you all of a sudden."
"We were just about to go see what you and Fluttershy were doing, guess you're both not in the castle then." Webber says with a smile.
"We just asked the other 4 girls and Spike if they wanted to join our sleepover we're having tonight." Fluttershy said.
Twilight looks at Hallows with a surprised look. "Webber, who's that?" she asked. "He looks like you."
Hallows smiles. "Finally, I get to meet the Princess of Friendship. I'm Hallows, Twilight." he said to her. "I'm Webber's clone. He secretly created me, and here I am now."
Twilight walks up to him. "Wow, you look amazing." she said in awe. "Webber, why didn't you tell me this before?"
"I wanted this to be a surprise." he said. "Glad you like him, cause he's amazing."
"I gave him this idea." Deathshadow said proudly.
Twi looks at him. "Really?" she asked him.
He nods.
"Well, I'm really impressed." she said with a smile.
Fluttershy looked at Hallows uneasily. "He looks abit scary." she says nervously.
"I know, the eyes, it was intentional." Hallows said with a grin. "Webber thought of making me look like him, but with very noticable differences. Makes me stand out better, I guess." he chuckles.
"Ha, he's right." Webber said.
"Well anyway, so you both are having a sleepover with the girls?" Deathshadow asks.
Twilight nods. "Yes. Would you three like to come too?" she asks them.
The three stallions look at each other and shake their heads.
"Nah, we're thinking of something to do at the moment, but maybe next time." Webber said. "Thanks for the offer though." he smiles.
"Aw, okay." Twilight says. "But okay, maybe next time. We'll see you later." she smiles.
"Okay, bye, you two." Webber then said.
Later in the day, Webber, Deathshadow, and Hallows, are in Webber's cottage in Canderlot, and Hallows is in his new room in the cottage, sitting in a chair, peacefully. "Webber is the best, for creating somepony as unique as me." he said to himself.
Then he heard the alicorn from earlier with the distorted voice, talking to him. "He's using you.." the pony said in Hallows's mind.
Hallows looks around in confusion. "No, whoever you are, you're wrong! He's my best friend." he said back to the voice. "He literally just created me as well, so you're definitely wrong."
The voice of the alicorn cackles. "Of course you think that way." it says. "But I do hold the truth. If you want, ask your creator yourself."
"Maybe I will!" Hallows said, going into Webber's room. "Webber!"
Webber gets up from resting, in shock. "What? What's wrong, Hallows?" he asked his clone.
"I don't know if its my conscious telling me this, but I've been hearing a voice too." Hallows said. "Not the one Celestia heard. Somepony different.."
Webber's eyes widen in even more shock. "I..I don't understand. What are you talking about? Who was it?" he asked worringly.
Hallows sighs confusingly. "I have no idea, my creator. But he told me that you didn't create me for the reasons I thought you did." he said. "He said...that..you were just using me.."
A worried Webber goes up to his clone and comforts him. "I would NEVER use you, Hallows." he said. "You are my friend. My creation. My embodiment of my true self."
Suddenly after saying that, a small black tentacle appears, wiggling from outside of Webber's arm. He makes the tentacle go back into his body. "You believe me, right?" he asked his clone. "You know that I will always want you by my side, just like my brother, and the rest of my friends." he said after.
Hallows backs away from his creator. "Maybe I believe you, maybe I don't." he said. "Either way, I'm going to find out what that voice wants from me, and I don't want you, or your friends to follow me."
"Hallows.." Webber began.
"Please, Webber.." the clone interrupted. "...let me have some time alone. I need to figure out myself, for what purpose I really have." he said. "You told me that when you created me, that one day I should trust my instincts, and let me figure out my purpose, if I felt lost. Remember?" he asked.
Webber sighs. "Yes. Go. I won't stop you." he said disappointingly.
Hallows nods. "Thanks, my creator." he said, as he went out the door, giving Webber one last look, and flew away.
Webber turned his head and closed his eyes sadly. He thinks to himself. "Hopefully he finds out his purpose." He then sighs.
A Forced Betrayal/Darkness Awakens
Later that night, back at the Castle of Friendship, Twilight and the rest of the girls are in Twi's biggest bedroom, and they look around happily.
"You really know how to make the place look absolutely stunning, darling." Rarity said to Twilight.
"Thanks Rarity" Twilight said with a smile. "I always become prepared on these occasions."
Pinkie bounces around gleefully. "What should we do now, since we ate and played outside already?" she asked the five mares.
"I think I'm in the mood for a pillow fight, cause why not?" Rainbow Dash said proudly and smiled.
"Alright, maybe some more fun like that will be a good time." Twilight said.
Suddenly, a pillow is thrown at Twilight, by Pinkie Pie. "PILLOW FIGHT!!" she exclaimed happily.
The mares giggle as they throw pillows at each other, dodge piilows from certain areas in the room, having a great time, until a couple minutes later, a knock is heard on the door to the room, from the other side.
"Twilight, you and the girls in there?" Webber said from the other side, laughing abit.
Twilight opens the door for Webber. "Yes." she said, giggling. "We've just started doing a pillow fight, care to join us?" she asked him, smiling.
"It's fun, Webber!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, throwing a pillow at Rarity's face.
"Ah!" Rarity exclaimed as the pillow hit her. "Pause, Pinkie, darling." she said politely.
Webber shakes his head. "Maybe in a minute, but nope. Actually, I came here to talk to you about Hallows, if you don't mind taking a minute?" he asked Twilight.
"Oh, of course." she said. "Please, come in."
Webber walks in and sits down on a bed, Twilight does the same, on the bed opposite from him. "What about him?" she asked.
"Well, he's been under alot of pressure all of a sudden, just recently." Webber told her.
"What kinda pressure?" Applejack asked. "Cause I've been down that road time and time again, and it ain't a walk in the park." she then said.
"Very deep pressure." Webber said. "He's been hearing some weird voice, telling him that I had created him for the wrong reasons, and it's messing with his head. I don't know where the voice he talked about is coming from, but I'm pretty worried."
"Aww, the poor thing." Rarity says, and suddenly falls onto her bed, with her arm over her eyes, acting dramatic. "It's just the worst, to hear or see anypony in such pressure and stress, I just can't stand it!"
Applejack intervenes "Uh, Rarity, you should calm it down, I am sure it's not that big of a deal, is it, Webber?" she asked the black coated stallion.
"I don't know. But he's my only double, and I don't want to lose him to such a horrible accusation." he said worringly.
Twilight puts her arm on Webber's shoulder, to try and comfort him. "Webber, he's under too much stress right now, and you need to just accept that." she said to him. "He needs his own space. He'll come back around, I promise." she smiles at him.
Webber sighs. "I suppose you're right, Twi." he said. "But where ever he is now, I hope he finds his purpose, at my side.." he then said, lowering his head abit.
Twi hugs him tightly, Webber hugs back.
"It's okay, we're all here for you, Webber." Twilight says with comfort.
Webber gets up from the bed. "Now, I'm ready for a little pillow fight action, girls." Webber said with a smirk. "Bring it on!"
"PILLOW FIGHT...AGAIN!!" Pinkie said cheerfully.
The 7 ponies start throwing pillows at each other, having great fun. Elsewhere, Hallows is seen landing near Our Town, and hides, so that nopony could spot him. The stressed clone breathes heavily.
"I just don't get it." he said to himself. "What if that voice was right? What if Webber was right? Was I created to do good or not? Argh, I can't take this constant self pressure!" he exclaimed in anxiety.
"You are so much more." a familiar voice Hallows heard earlier, said.
Hallows looks around. "Hey, you're that voice! But seems like in person." he said.
"Yes, I'm here." the alicorn said.
"Where?" Hallows asked.
"In the shadows..." the alicorn said to him.
The clone looks around, for somepony in the shadows, but he can't see anypony around.
"Behind you, dummy!" the alicorn shouts.
Hallows looks behind him, and sees a shadowy figure of the alicorn, hiding in the shadows, leaning on a tree. "Come out, so I can see you face to face." he says to the alicorn.
The stallion walks out, revealing himself, and he's the same alicorn that spawned himself from outside of Equestria.
"Who are you, and why do you tell me these things?" Hallows asked him.
"I recently gave myself a name." he said. "A name that might spread fear into everypony, as much as my master's name. I'm....DEATH WISH." the evil alicorn says, grinning sinisterly.
Hallows's eyes widen abit. "Why are you telling me certain things, Death Wish?" he asked him.
"Because you created me, after Webber created you. And I see the potential in you." he said to the clone.
Hallows gasps. "I..I created you? How? That's not possible!" he said confused.
"I'm a spawn, Hallows. A clone created by a clone, after the first clone is born. I'm a hybrid embodiment of you and Webber." Death Wish said.
"I'm surprised that the machine I came out of, could create you." Hallows said in amazement.
"It wasn't intentional, but here I am." Death Wish said.
"What's wrong with your voice?" Hallows asked.
"It's an error during the creation process for me. But my master has vowed me to bring me the voice I really wanted" Death Wish said back. "Anyway, I think your creator is just using you."
"How do you know?" Hallows asked, freaking out.
"I don't. But I see his thoughts. I see your thoughts as well. Come, I'll show you." Death Wish said, smiling evilly.
Then, Hallows is taken outside of Equestria with Death Wish, into the same dark area that Death Wish was spawned from, and Hallows is lead towards a fog infested area, with a bald, tan coated pony meditating in the fog. Death Wish bows to him in respect.
"Master, I have him." he said to the pony.
The pony's eyes open, to reveal neon green color, and he smiles sinisterly. His voice is familarly the same graspy voice Celestia has heard.
"Hallows, I promise you, you will be better than your own creator." he said.
"I don't believe you!" Hallows shouted.
"You will, I promise." he said and cackles.
Death Wish does the same.
Vision Of The End Of Equestria
The next morning, in Canderlot Castle, Celestia is seen looking out from the balcony, at the beautiful land, ponies all around are having fun, eating, singing, life is good in the princess's image, until she takes a glance around the throne room, lowering her head abit sadly.
"I wish my sister were here to see this." Celestia said to herself. "Equestria looks perfect. Just perfect. But now, I'm not so sure anymore."
Suddenly, Tempest Shadow and Grubber come into the throne room, and they see Celestia at the balcony. The princess looks at the unicorn and hedgehog entering and smiles.
"Ah, Fizzlepop, Grubber, what a surprise." Celestia said.
"Not so surprising anymore, now that you spotted us, right, Celestia?" Tempest said, with a tricky, yet happy look on her face.
"I love surprises!" Grubber said cheerfully.
The unicorn and hedgehog come up to the balcony, next to Celestia, overlooking Canderlot.
"You bored today?" Tempest asked the princess.
"No, not really." Celestia replied. "But I wish my sister was here to see the perfection of the land of Equestria. Just look at it. Absolutely beautiful."
Tempest replied. "I agree. So what's the problem with it?" she asked Celestia.
Celestia sighs. "I've had a vision that I yet to tell Twilight." she said.
Tempest then looks at the princess in great concern. "What kind of vision?" she asked.
Sudden silence filled the throne room for a good 10 seconds, until Celestia finally replies. "A vision of the end of Equestria, and everypony in it."
Tempest stares in shock. Grubber does the same.
"The END of Equestria?" Tempest asked. "What does that mean?"
"It literally means the end of Equestria's harmony, and the end all of us ponies, and all other creatures and animals in the land." Celestia replied.
"And the lands beyond?" Tempest asked with a raised eyebrow.
Celestia lowers her head. "Gone as well." she said.
Then suddenly, a blue and yellow patterned basil appears in the middle of the throne room, and Celestia goes up towards it, and then looks back at Tempest and Grubber.
"Wanna see?" Celestia asked Tempest and Grubber.
"Oooh, a movie!" Grubber said happily, rushing over to the basil.
Tempest follows, coming up to it as well. "I may not like it, but let's see what the future might hold." she said, keeping a brave face.
Suddenly, the basil magically creates a smoke-like hologram in the center, and the hologram reveals the future like a fortune teller crystal ball.
"I've seen it all, and I have no doubt we're on our last thread of string now." Celestia said.
The hologram shows Canderlot castle demolished into pieces, Ponyville shredded, ponies captured or killed, Wasteland overrun, Trotham City's buildings set on fire, and maniacal laughter in the background, then finally, a pair of neon green eyes appear, staring at Tempest, Celestia, and Grubber. Then the hologram disappears.
Tempest stands shocked. "What. Was. That. About?" she asked shockingly.
Grubber shakes in fear. "A scary movie.." he said nervously.
Celestia sighs in sadness. "The near future, that will be."
"I never seen such tragedy since my early years." Tempest said, in a depressing tone.
Suddenly, a loud sonic-like sound is heard coming from outside of the castle. Celestia, Tempest, and Grubber run to the balcony to see where the sound came from.
Evil Makes The First Move
From outside, a building near the castle is seen on fire, with many ponies screaming and running out. From there, another building's roof gets literally torn in half.
"Celestia, what's happening?" Tempest asked worringly.
Suddenly, Twilight and her friends, including Webber, teleport into the throne room, and come to the balcony.
"Princess Celestia, we all heard the noise, what's going on?" Twilight asked.
Celestia points down, at the burning building. "See for yourself." she said.
The 7 ponies gasp in shock.
"What in tarnation is causing this?" Applejack asked.
Suddenly, Hallows is seen, walking through the town below, with Death Wish next to him, smiling evilly.
Webber gasps. "Is that Hallows?" he asked, pointing at him.
Tempest looks at Webber, confusingly. "Who's Hallows?"
"My clone!" Webber said, alarmingly, jumping off the balcony, and uses his wings to fly down to where Hallows is.
Celestia, Tempest, Grubber, Twilight and her friends, follow Webber.
"HALLOWS?!" Webber said, in a monstrous tone of voice, that has never been heard from his mouth before.
Hallows hears his creator's voice, and puts his head down in shame, then turns around to look at Webber. "Hello, my creator." he said, ashamedly.
"Why?" Webber asked, with his ears down. "Why did you choose this path? You had it made here, I showed you the happiness and wonderfulness of this land." he then exclaimed.
"I agree with him, Hallows. I just met you not that long ago, and you turn on your own new friends?" Celestia said.
Hallows sighed. "It wasn't completely my choice to go down like this." he said disappointingly.
Suddenly, Death Wish teleports in front of the ponies, smiling evilly. "Hello, Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle, Webber Shadow, hay, all of you." he said, in his distorted voice. "I'm the real reason this red eyed demon is here with me."
Fluttershy hides behind Applejack and shakes in fear. "Y...Your v.voice is scary..."
"IT SHOULD BE!" Death Wish exclaimed, then chuckled evilly.
"Who are you?" Twilight asked, with a serious look.
"The hybrid of Webber and Hallows, the heir of the Dark Lord, my name is Death Wish! Muahahahaha!" he said and laughed again, this time in a dramatic, evil, and kinda silly way. Then he coughed hard, as the crazy laughter messed with his distorted voice.
Twilight raises a eyebrow in confusion. "The Dark Lord?" she asked.
Webber intervened. "Not the best time to talk about it, Twilight."
Celestia steps up, with a serious look. "What is your goal here, Death Wish? Coming here and raiding Canderlot like this, what is your achievement here?" she asks him.
Death Wish gives a big, sinister, toothy smile, and chuckles through his smile. "Just a message to all of you in Equestria, and especially to you, Princess Celestia, since you're one of the main rulers here, that your future is in danger." he said.
Tempest gasps quietly, realizing that the hologram from earlier was far from fiction.
"Your land, your love, your honor, your strength, will soon belong to the Dark Lord." Death Wish continued. "You all can try to save the land, but our power overpowers yours."
"Really?" Webber asked inqusitively.
Webber shoots out a black web from his hoof, to try and grab Death Wish, much to the Mane Six, Grubber, and Tempest's surprise, but Death Wish uses his magic to grab the web, and throws it, along with Webber, aside. Webber hits a building wall.
Twilight gasps. "Webber?!" she exclaimed.
"Ouch." Webber said, quickly getting back up.
Death Wish smiles evilly. "We may be powerful now already, but once my master is fully reborn, we'll be so much more." he said, with determination.
Celestia's horn starts to light up yellow, thinking of shooting a magical blast at Death Wish, but Hallows uses his magic power to reverse the effect, much to Celestia's confusion.
"What? My horn!" Celestia said worringly.
Hallows shaked his head slowly. "Don't think about it, Celestia, I'm sorry." he said sadly.
"No, Hallows please, don't do this!" Webber exclaimed, worringly.
Death Wish cackles again. "Evil has made the first move, everypony. We'll be back. Or, if you feel adventurous, come find us." he said, winking at everypony.
Suddenly, Hallows and Death Wish disappear, and Deathshadow is seen putting out the fire on the building that was on fire earlier, with a hose, then looks at everypony in confusion.
"What happened?" Deathshadow asked.
Twilight and Webber look at each other in concern.
"I...I have no idea." Twilight said.
"Hallows betrayed us, brother!" Webber exclaimed angrily.
Deathshadow's eyes widen. "What?"
"He just told us the future that I've witnessed with Celestia." Tempest said.
The Mane Six look at Tempest, Grubber, and Celestia in shock. "What do you mean?" they all said in unison.
Celestia nodded. "Come with me." she said.
The Mane Six, Tempest, Grubber, and Celestia teleport up to the castle, but Webber walks away, with his head down. Deathshadow looks at his brother with his ears down.
"You okay, baby brother?" he asked Webber.
Webber looks at him disappointingly. "I'm gonna take a walk, you go back home." he said, sighing, and continues to walk away.
"If you say so, I'll meet you back home later then." Deathshadow said, and teleported back home.
Then, back in the Canderlot castle, Celestia reveals the hologram that she showed Tempest Shadow and Grubber before.
The Element Of Peace And Patience
The hologram plays, showing everything that was shown before, which leaves the Mane Six and Spike, in shock.
"What the hay is this all about?!" Applejack asked, in a fearful tone.
Celestia puts her head down. "The terrible future.." she said disappointingly.
Twilight looks at the hologram, in a gazed trance, and suddenly, she looks around her, imagining herself inside the vision, as everypony in the room disappears, and she appears in a more demonic version of the Castle of Friendship.
"Wha...What's going on?" Twilight asked herself. "Where am I?"
A loud thunderclap is heard, which makes Twilight jump and yelp, in surprise. She takes a good look around her, and realizes where she is.
"Wait, this looks like the Castle of Friendship. But..it's different colors." she said. But before she could make out what's wrong with the Castle, it disappears around her, and she falls into complete blackness.
Twi starts screaming, until a few seconds later, she hits a hard surface, unexpectedly. "Oof!" she said, looking up, at the same green eyes that were in the hologram, staring down at her.
"You will be eradicated, by my hooves, young Princess. It's only a matter of time.." the gravelly voice belonging to the green eyes, said to a scared Twilight.
The purple mare gets up, and tries to run away from the green eyes, hearing his cackling fade as she gets farther away, but gets stopped by a spotlight, which showed herself, punching Death Wish, slowly and repeatedly.
Twilight gasps. "Is that me?" she asked herself.
Death Wish is heard grunting, from Twi's punches, but grins and coughs. "One more...!" he encouraged her.
Twilight covers her mouth in shock, as she heard a final blow towards Death Wish. Small tears stream down both her eyes.
"No..no, I'm not a killer!" Twilight exclaimed, as she looks away, only to appear in another scene, where she, and the Mane Five, in their Rainbow Power form, blasting something that isn't shown , which leaves Twilight confused.
"Equestria will be gone, you'll see!" a graspy voice said, which Twi heard.
Another voice is then heard, this time a British mare's voice. "My old friends, I missed you all!"
Twilight then sees what looked like Tempest Shadow, jumping in front of Twi, to save her from a magical blast, that came from somepony unknown. "NO!" Tempest said, which made Twi cover her mouth again.
"You must stop him, Twilight, before he stops you." Webber's voice said, faintly.
"Webber?" Twi asked. Then finally, she appears in a darkroom, with a spotlight, shining on what looked like a gold amulet, with a symbol of a pair of blue hooves inside of a pink heart, on the center, sitting on a pedestal.
"What is that?" Twilight asked herself, as she slowly walked toward the amulet. "Looks like another...Element? Of what?"
Twilight stands in front of the mysterious amulet, in much curiosity, until a faint echo of Applejack's voice is heard.
"Twilight?" Applejack asked.
Then, Pinkie Pie's voice is heard. "Twilight, what's wrong with you? Why are you looking down at the floor?" she asked.
Twilight hears their voices, which makes her look up, and a white flash hits her, and she appears back in the Canderlot castle, with the Mane Five, Princess Celestia, Tempest, and Grubber, on the floor, in shock.
The Mane Five look at Twilight worryingly. "Twi, you okay?" Rainbow Dash asked the scared, purple mare.
In Twi's first pony perspective, she looks at her worried friends, and suddenly gets scared tears in her eyes. "What was that?" she asked, emotionally.
"What was what, dear?" Rarity replied, curiously. "And why are you sobbing so terribly much?"
"I...I saw so much horror, somehow, I found myself inside that vision in that hologram." Twilight said. "After seeing so much, I finally saw what appeared to be another...Element."
The Mane Five looked at their crying friend, in shock. "Another Element?"
Celestia sighed. "I thought somepony would see that, Twilight, but I didn't think you'd be the one to see it first hoof." she said.
Twilight stood up, and wiped her tears away with a tissue from out of nowhere. "Princess Celestia, what was that thing?" she asked curiously.
Celestia turns the hologram back on, and shows the same amulet that Twilight saw in the vision. "The Element Of Peace And Patience, the 7th, ego element, that existed since me and Luna became the rulers of Equestria, and was cast away after Nightmare Moon's banishment." she explained.
"For whatever reason, Princess Celestia?" Rarity asked.
Celestia hesitated. "To...keep it safe...f.from...." she stopped. "...from Equestria itself." she managed to finish.
Applejack raised an eyebrow. "What is it about that Element that makes it so dangerous to Equestria?" she asked curiously.
"It is the only Element ever, to have become very...unstable, for nopony except for the right one, to wield it." Celestia then explained.
"And who could be the right one of wield that thing?" Tempest asked, until she notices that her cutie mark pulsates and her broken horn lights up brightly.
The Mane Six, Celestia, Grubber, and even Tempest Shadow, look in shock, as this happens to the dark red unicorn.
"Y...You are the right one to wield it!" Twilight exclaimed.
Tempest looked at her friends. "Not only did my cutie mark light up, but so did my horn." she said. "I thought this only happens when a friendship problem arises."
"Not when your horn starts lighting up as well, Fizzlepop." Celestia said. "The Element Of Peace And Patience calls to you!"
Tempest looks at Celestia, in abit of fear. "I...Celestia, I...I don't think I can handle such a responsibility." she hesitated.
Celestia came up to Tempest and patted her shoulder. "It's not all about responsibility with this Element. Just like in its name, you got to have patience in order to bring peace." she said, smiling.
"Hmm, I think I understand that." Tempest replied.
"You'll get used to it after a while." Twilight said. "But Princess Celestia, all those visions I've seen, will...will they actually happen?" she asked.
Celestia nodded. "Unfortunately, yes. It's essential, Twilight." she replied.
"But...But that means...Applejack's big brother will turn himself into a monster, just to be more than he is now..." Twilight started explaining worryingly.
Applejack's eyes widened. "Say what, now?" she said confusingly.
"...Webber will go feral..." Twilight kept going.
Rainbow Dash looked at her friend with an eyebrow raised. "Feral?" she asked.
"...this so called Dark Lord will hunt me down..." Twilight kept going.
Rarity covered her mouth in shock. "Oh dear." she said in fear.
"...Tempest will save me from his grasp..." Twilight kept going, now starting to panic.
Tempest raised an eyebrow like Rainbow. "What?" she said.
Twilight finishes and asks. "...and I will...KILL that Death Wish fellow we saw a while ago? I'm not a killer!" she then exclaimed.
Celestia sighed. "That last bit will depend upon your anger and revenge." she explained.
"Revenge for what?" Twi asked.
"I won't say till it happens. You need to experience these events for yourselves." Celestia said and looked at everypony in the room, including Grubber. "All of you will have to, with no choice. This is an essential and likely vision to become true."
Grubber looked at Celestia, shaking his head, after he just stared off in space. "Huh, what? I wasn't listening." he said, blushing embarrassingly.
"But.. But Princess Celestia..." Twilight started.
"No buts, Twilight." Celestia interrupted. "I wish there was another way too, but this Element and all these events in the future, cannot be reversed."
Twilight sighs disappointingly. "We'll get through this, everypony. I'm sure of it." she said.
Tempest lowered her head, and talked in her mind. "I doubt you, Twilight. I really don't believe this."
Rainbow Dash intervened. "Umm, quick question, to pass these desperate measures: Where do you think Webber and his brother went?" she asked.
Celestia used telekinesis, and found Webber. "Everfree Forest." she said.
"I'll go get him." Twilight said, leaving the castle.
Meanwhile, Webber is seen walking through the Everfree Forest, with his head down, sadly.
