The bouncy baker, met with gasp, The farmer, took my hoof in clasp, The pegasus with voice of rasp, I fled the fashionista's grasp, And squeak, And squeak, But do not speak. The moon went pale, the Mare was not, I found myself held to the spot, Transfixed by one we'd all forgot- I've got to go, faster than trot. They will not leave, they will not go, Even when I told them so, The danger here will only grow, But here they come so start the show. The forest here is deep and dim, The chances of success are slim, But even though the path is grim... OH CRIPES THE GROUND, over the brim! A clasping hoof, a soothing word, And though I'm sure I had not heard... Let go, you said? Why that's absurd! But something in me has been stirred... A fearsome beast lies in our path, His claws and teeth there bared in wrath, But 'fore the bloody aftermath, A kind hoof here, and... kitty bath? We move along, up swells our fear, And faces in the trees appear! Why in the world did we come here, But from the baker, waves of cheer? What in the world, she starts to sing? But then there's a perculiar thing, I feel quite light, as if on wing, What an odd feat to set in swing. Our progress once again is spoiled, Up ahead the water boiled, A thrashing serpent coiled and coiled, A gift bestowed, his anguish foiled. A bridge across a canyon - broke, To false idols our hope she spoke, And though tempted by ego's stroke, Betrayal they did not provoke. At last, So fast? The past Forecast... A spark to wake up that which slept, In rocks within the castle kept, A site where many ponies wept, Now all forlorn and weather-swept. She's here! The Night! A Fearsome fright! But no, I must restore the light, But I alone? No, that's not right... My friends beside me, what a sight! Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy, Applejack, and then me, hi, Time to wave Nightmare goodbye. Now all fares well and all is fine, And these ponies? Friends of mine. And there the summer sun does shine, And there a heartfelt, gen-u-ine, Apology, between a pair, Of alicorns who lay right there, Excuse me if I stop to stare, Sisters? Now they clear the air. And now this little tale, it ends, But now I have my five new friends, And though our bonds will test and bend, With no one else my time I'd spend. Now Ponyville was an old town, And the pony, she put her roots down, She made tons of new friends, And worked on the weekends, So that nopony could ever frown. Then along came a unicorn nerd, Who told us 'bout a few things she'd heard, We restored the Nightmare, With a rainbow we shared, And we welcomed her back to the herd. Rainbow DashView OnlineFriendship is RhymingRainbow DashUp in the air and looking down and it's so far below, The ground right there, I do not care, My wingbeats hardly slow, As I climb up and out above there in the great blue sky, I feel the ice, I feel it slice, And still I fly and fly, The air around grows light and thin and thinner ever still, The stars to touch, Not quite too much, Against the empty chill, And tuck, And turn, Sky plucks, Sky churns, And dive, And down, Alive, The town, Below, Comes up, Just go, Don't stop, The sky, To break, I fly, Awake, Right there, The edge, The flare, To fledge, The spark, The grip, Stands stark, Don't slip, The catch, The push, Dispatch, The whoosh, The burst, The bloom, Headfirst, Rainboom.
