Heat
Chapter II
Previous ChapterNext ChapterLuna blinked, unsure if she had heard her sister correctly. "W-what? You mean that we—"
"Luna, neither of us has a special somepony, and I thought…” Celestia hesitated. “Maybe we could help each other in times of need, and…"
"No!" Luna barked back. "I mean… as much as we both enjoyed what we did… In the end of ends, we are still sisters, and we shouldn't have done that in the first place. I guess…" She sighed. "I guess that not having somepony for a long time got the best of me. Twice. It may not be the wisest idea to do this again."
Celestia nodded. "Luna?"
"Yes?"
"I didn't mean to imply that we..." Celestia bit her lip. "I just wanted to say that I enjoyed what you… I mean… I just thought… that… Oh dear. I feel so embarrassed now."
For a moment, a dead silence fell between the pair. Luna silently observed as her sister's muzzle turned redder as the seconds passed by. She couldn't help herself but giggle. "You should look at yourself in the mirror, Tia. Your face looks like a ripe tomato."
Celestia laughed wholeheartedly. "I—" She cleared her throat. "I shall leave you alone with the shower now." She turned towards the door. "But you might want to lock the door behind me. I'm not the only pony in the castle."
Luna nodded. After Celestia left the bathroom, Luna did what she was advised. She lit her horn and locked the door, ensuring that nopony could enter the bathroom, not even her sister. She stepped back into the cabin, turned the shower on, and continued what she had started before the awkward interruption.
She sighed deeply and closed her eyes, allowing the warm droplets to caress her body again. She opened up her mouth and let the warm water fill it to the brim just so that she could spit it out. As she repeated that a few more times, the aftertaste of her and her sister's misconduct dissipated from her mouth. But regardless, even the thought of that left her in a strange predicament. She freely admitted to herself and to her sister that she enjoyed their ordeal. Whether that was due to Celestia being a mare, that she hasn't been with anypony for a thousand of years, or the combination of both, she couldn't say.
As she realized where her thoughts had wandered off, she tapped the faucet lightly, allowing the warm water to grow colder. It was usually more than enough to bring her hooves back to Equestria, but this time, it just wasn't enough. She tapped it again and quickly washed her remaining parts. It didn't take her more than a few seconds to open the glass door and jump out of the cabin. "T-that's really c-c-cold!" she muttered to herself.
Shivering slightly, Luna wrapped herself with nearby towel and rubbed herself thoroughly. As she glanced into the mirror, the image within smirked at her. Instead of being its majestic, ethereal self, her mane was in shambles, strands of hair sticking in every possible direction. A quick fix with her towel, spiced up with a little bit of magic, was followed by her brushing her teeth and a thorough cleaning of her regalia. When she was satisfied with the result, she smiled at her own reflection in the dark pieces of metal. She took a deep breath to make herself forget what just happened and trotted towards the kitchen, where she found her sister.
"How was… it?" Celestia asked innocently, pushing a plate of blueberry pancakes towards her sister.
"Cold and wet," Luna replied with a smile. "Mayhaps a tad too cold." With a glance and without a second thought, she grabbed a mug containing cold coffee and made a swift, long gulp. In an instant, she regretted her decision.
"I was just about to throw that away, Lu," Celestia mused.
Luna spat. "Egads! I had thought that hot coffee was terrible, but this…" She gagged. "That's what I get for… your cup?"
Celestia giggled. "You already put away yours, remember?"
"Gah! You should have warned me…"
"I saw no reason for doing so. Besides, I know that you have an undying love for cold coffee. So…"
Luna shook her head. "Of course. And the colder the better. At least these delicious pancakes are here to the rescue."
"Certainly."
The two ponies looked at each other and started to giggle like a pair of foals. As that died down, they chatted about the passing day, as well as Luna's duties for the night. Neither mentioned the adventures in either bedroom or their encounter in the bathroom.
And it was not just that day that conversations of their encounters never seemed to spark to life again.
At least for a few more weeks.

As dusk fell over Canterlot and its residences, a pair of Royal Guards bowed to Celestia in front of her sister's room.
"At ease, my little ponies," Celestia said softly. "I'm just looking for my sister. It's a little odd that she hasn't joined me in the kitchen for a few days in a row…"
"We… uh…" started the first one.
"We… we haven’t seen her either," finished the second guard.
Celestia blinked. "What? Why wasn't I informed of this?"
"We apologize, Princess Celestia, but we both thought that if she would go somewhere, she would inform you first."
The other guard subtly nodded. "But nothing stands out of the ordinary, ma'am. She raises and lowers the moon every night, and her work still seems to be getting done."
"I see…" Celestia muttered to herself but loud enough to be heard by both guards.
"Princess Celestia? Should we… Do we need to worry? Old tales say that's how Nightmare Moon—"
"Dust Cloud!"
The guard quickly closed his mouth and hung his head in embarrassment. "I apologize, Princess Celestia. I didn't meant to imply…"
"I understand the concern, Dust Cloud, but I reckon that there's no cause for alarm. Luna has done this a few times before as well."
"She… did?"
Celestia nodded. "Long before her banishment. And both times…" She smiled. "She was fine. If what you said is true, she should return shortly. And if you do see her before I do, would you be so kind and send her to me?"
The guards nodded simultaneously.
"Very well. Thank you for the information. At ease."
The two guards bowed to Celestia as she head back to her chambers.
As she closed the massive door behind herself, she shook her head. She knew what the sudden disappearance of her sister meant. The past times Luna did that, her return had been accompanied with a delightful mare. This time, Celestia had been only slightly disappointed that Luna didn't tell her what she was about to do before she took off.
Celestia sighed. She sat down behind her desk and opened a book. Reading, however, proved to be impossible as the words quickly started to blur. With a sigh and a swipe of her hoof, she closed it. In that moment, a tap on the balcony door caught her attention.
She didn't need to guess twice who that may be. Without even putting on her golden slippers, Celestia walked to the door like a Royal Guard, upright and stiff like she just ate a broom. Inches before her destination, she bowed deeply, and inviting Luna in in a bemused tone, "Come on in, Your Highness. Would you like to—"
She looked up, her smile and mocking voice dissipating immediately. "Luna?" Her voice was now coated with genuine concern.
Luna indeed was in desolate state. Her ethereal mane was dimmer, and the bags under her eyes indicated that she had trouble sleeping the past few days. If she had managed to get any sleep at all.
"You just… disappeared for a few days," said Celestia, and she gave her sister a tight embrace. "Where have you been?"
"Here," Luna replied meekly. "But I avoided everypony. Including you."
"But… why? Last time… last few times you took off without a word to anypony, including me, you returned with a lover. I had expected to welcome two ponies, not just one."
Luna glared at Celestia but said nothing. Not that she needed to say anything, anyways. Luna's body language, light blush, and a faint scent of musk told Celestia what Luna couldn't or didn't want to put into words.
Celestia nodded understandably. "Please do come in. It's not as warm outside at night as it used to be. What do you say?"
With a nod, Luna followed Celestia inside. As much as she tried to look past it, Luna's eyes kept coming back to the rhythmic sway of two white flanks. Only when they had stopped did Luna shake her head to clear her thoughts.
"Luna?"
"Sorry."
"I was worried, Lu… You were avoiding me because you were in heat?"
"Still am."
"Luna… you know that you didn't have to…"
"I didn't want to snap at you or at anypony else like the last time…"
Celestia sighed. "It happens, Luna. You need not worry about it."
Luna's muzzle became redder.
"You really have to do something about your body. Look, I know that you think that it's undignified, but it's something that will keep your heat in check even if—"
"Doesn't work."
"Of course it doesn't if you hadn't even tried it yet, Luna." Celestia smiled. "Nothing works unless you—"
"I have!" Luna yelped, but she cut herself off. "T-this morning, too. I promised myself that I wouldn't, but… I got desperate. Unfortunately, that didn't help at all."
"It didn't?"
Luna shook her head.
"Luna…"
Luna shuffled and hung her head. "Yes… Uhhh…"
"So, I guess that you want me to… Luna, you said it yourself, that may not be the wisest course of action."
Luna subtly nodded. "I know, but… I wouldn't have come here if I had any other choice," she almost whispered. "I wouldn't need to hide from everypony either."
After a moment of dead silence, Celestia finally smiled. "Shower."
"W-what?"
"Before I let you on the bed, you need to take a long shower. Very long shower."
"Shower?"
Celestia snickered. "You smell like you just came from running a marathon, Lu. At least two of them."
Luna blushed. "That bad?"
"Worse. Now go."
With a nod, Luna headed for the bathroom and climbed into the cabin. She happily gave into the onslaught of tiny droplets as they soaked her fur. She just wished for a pony that would help her brush the dust out of the even faintest crevices. A nice, young mare with a nimble set of hooves, and—
"Egads!" Luna yelped as the water got colder than she expected, snapping her out of her delightful fantasies. She quickly jumped out of the cabin and reached for the towel, wiping herself off. Like she had seen Rarity do once, she wrapped her mane into a towel and headed out.
Celestia laughed. "I said long, but I never thought that you would take an eternity and a half. Or was it two full?"
Luna blinked. "How long was I…"
"Good twenty minutes, Lu. I thought that you had forgotten about…" Celestia giggled. "At least now you smell like a princess."
"Lavender and oak. I smell like tree sap."
Celestia laughed again. "Jump on the bed."
Luna nodded. As she sat on the bed, Celestia sat behind her. Just like before, she floated the bottle of Passion Fruit oil, splashed it onto her hooves, and rubbed them lightly against Luna's hips. Celestia smiled. "Comfortable?"
Luna nodded.
"Good." Celestia's hooves continued with what she was doing, making Luna squirm.
"Can't help it. It tickles!"
Celestia chuckled and continued to lead her hooves across Luna's stomach and between her thighs. The tip of her hoof slided along the rims of Luna's slippery slit, making Luna moan and her body flinch.
Celestia’s free leg gently wrapped around Luna's stomach while the tip of her other hoof managed to worm itself inside of Luna's slit and started to rub it. With each pass, Celestia felt Luna's body flinch ever so slightly, a reaction that amused Celestia immensely.
And as she continued, Luna's erect clit protruded through her lips like a glistening pink button, waiting for attention. Amused, Celestia blew on it, making Luna squirm even more. As she started to lightly massage Luna's clit, Celestia asked, "Do you want me to continue or—"
In a response, Luna groaned.
"I'll take that as a 'yes'," Celestia mused. "Although, I think that I have something better." She reached underneath one of her pillows, retrieving a short plastic toy. "It helps me keep my heat in check. I'm sure that you'll like it too," she added. "Now, lean back."
Luna did as she was told. She leaned into her sister's warm body and closed her eyes, enjoying the playful interaction as the toy, wrapped in Celestia's magic, danced on her body. Celestia would lead the toy towards the middle of her chest for one moment, and then inch the toy towards her hips and back again in the next.
"Stop teasing," Luna whispered.
Instead of replying, Celestia just shook her head.
"You're evil," Luna murmured.
"Mayhaps just a little bit," Celestia whispered back. She guided the toy between Luna's hind legs, making sure it passes by the slippery lips. In response, Luna flinched. "You're really wet now," she mused.
"Been like that for a whiiii—" Luna gasped as she felt the tip of the toy slip effortlessly inside of her.
"Luna?"
Luna huffed. "I-I didn't expect this…"
"I was hoping for that." With a mischievous smile on her muzzle, Celestia’s horn grew slightly brighter. She flicked a switch on the toy and gently pressed it against her sister's pink button.
Luna shivered. Using a hoof was one thing, but this was something completely different. She felt like her body started to resonate with the toy. The familiar warmth started to creep into her. She wanted to give into the divine ministrations, however, Celestia wasn't done yet.
Just like she had done for herself, Celestia pulled the vibrating toy out and pushed it back over and over again. However, even with Luna now breathing heavily, Celestia pushed even deeper. As she still held Luna against herself, Celestia could feel her sister’s every muscle contracting and releasing.
"T-Tiahhh," Luna breathed and bit her lip in an attempt to delay the inevitable, but to no avail.
Suddenly, Luna shivered in delight as the waves of the climax rippled through her. She felt as if all of her muscles had released their tension at once, leaving her gasping for air on her sister's silk sheets.
Celestia released her grip and let Luna rest on her stomach, who was regaining her composure and catching her breath. Celestia gave Luna a warm smile and ruffled her wings.
Finally, Luna looked up but quickly lowered her head. "S-sorry, Tia."
"Sorry? I'm afraid that I don't understand, Luna…"
"For… asking you to do this again…"
"You're my sister, Luna, and—"
"That's just it, Tia. You're my sister, and—"
"Luna, we talked about this already. Even if it's trouble with the heat, you're always welcome here." Celestia smirked. "And besides, you wouldn't do those faces anywhere else."
"Faces?" Luna looked up.
Celestia was quick to mimic her sister's face just before her climax. She closed her eyes and opened her mouth ever so slightly. "That face."
"Oh." Luna giggled. "Still…"
"Get some rest, Luna. There's still a long night ahead of you, and I need some shut-eye myself." She paused for a brief moment and looked at her sister. "Um, Luna?"
"Hm?"
"You… you never answered my question."
"I wasn't aware that you asked one…"
"It was a question from a while back, Luna. A proposition… For doing this when either of us are in heat. Like I said, sister helping sister, nothing more." Celestia paused for a bit, waiting for Luna's response.
The familiar, but strange, sensation returned to Luna. Instead of answering her sister's question with a firm "no", Luna struggled with herself again. The idea of sharing the sheets with her sister still felt wrong, but not even five minutes ago, she was enjoying herself immensely. Had it been because of the very notion that she slept with her sister, or perhaps it was because Celestia did something that nopony else but her lovers did?
Or perhaps it was nothing like that at all, and Celestia got her off just because she knew what Luna went through. As Celestia would say, it was just sister helping sister. And yet, there was nothing mechanical or detached in Celestia's ministrations; rather, it seemed like Celestia was enjoying it almost as much as Luna herself.
Lost in her thoughts, she felt a slight nudge from Celestia.
"Luna?"
"I, uh… What?" Luna shook her head. "My apologies, Tia. These past few days… took everything out of me. And what just happened was just… Tia?"
"What is it, Luna?"
"I know that I'm asking too much, but I don't think that I'll be able to attend my duties tonight. If you could… I'm barely keeping my eyes open right now…"
"I see," Celestia mused. "I guess that I'll be attending your duties tonight. It has been a long time since I did that."
Luna smiled and pressed her muzzle on her sister's cheek.

In the wake of the morning, a strong, but pleasant aroma, teased Luna’s nostrils, rousing her awake. She batted her hoof in the vain hope to get the source of the tempting smell closer to her, but failed.
"I don't want you to spill it all over my sheets. Sit down proper, and you can have some."
"Tia?" Luna jumped up. "Oh no! The moon! Stars! I'm—"
"Taken care of. I didn't want to wake you up, so I lowered it for you."
"Oh."
"Here."
Luna groaned. "Coffee. It smells lovely. Too bad that it tastes terrible."
"This one is special. I got it just for you."
Luna took a small sip and smiled. "It's better than usual. What is it?"
"A very special coffee. Its beans had been digested by a cat."
The response took Luna by surprise as she had another sip. In a moment, she spat out everything. "What?!"
"I see that you like it," Celestia mused.
"Blech! No!"
Celestia laughed wholeheartedly. "It's just cocoa, Lu. I added a little bit of coffee to it for aroma. I just couldn't pass up an opportunity like that."
Luna groaned. "Thou art vile."
"Sometimes," Celestia mused. "Usually when my sister falls asleep in my lap and I have to do her chores. Although…" She flicked her horn and picked up a small piece of paper from the platter. "Here, read this."
"Thank you for a wonderful evening, Princess Celestia," Luna read. "Signed, Ruby Shine." She blinked. "Ruby Shine? The talkative pony from the town?"
Celestia nodded.
"You two…"
Celestia nodded again. "I can give you all of the details, if you so desire," she happily added. "He's a little on the rough side, but he can go for a long—"
"Tia!"
Celestia giggled. "I'm sorry, Luna, but I hadn't been with a pony for… Geeze… a few hundred years now. It's really wonderful to spend a night with a polite gentlepony who is… quite well endowed, too."
Blushing furiously, Luna stuck out her tongue.
"Now, I must ask you to leave, Luna."
Luna blinked. "W-why?"
"Because you refused to listen to the details of my adventure, and because this is still my bedroom, little sister." She giggled. "And you're taking almost half of my bed. After a night like this, even a cauldron of coffee would barely have any effect, so…"
"I understand. I know when I'm not wanted anymore," Luna mused. "Tia?"
"Hm?"
"Thank you. For… you know… everything."
"Any time, Lu."
With a smile on her muzzle and a cup of cocoa held by her magic, she spun on her leg and trotted out of her sister's room. Halfway to Celestia's door, Luna stopped and turned back, wanting to remind Celestia she's about to sleep on dirty sheets, a gesture that was proven too late. She couldn't help herself but to smirk at the scenery as Celestia had already splayed herself on the bed, each leg pointing in a different direction.
Luna stood there for a while, watching the majestic pony lie on the bed like a pony that had way too much to drink. She really didn't know whether to laugh or to say nothing at all. Finally, she smirked and silently walked back to the bed.
As entertaining as it was to watch her sister's badly hidden genitals, Luna lit her horn, grabbed the sheet with her magic and pulled lightly. Even as she saw her sister glide to the edge of the bed, she closed her eyes and perked her ears. A brief moment later, a muffled thud echoed around the room.
"Wha—Luna! What the hay!"
Luna gave Celestia a mischievous smile. "Your sheets are dirty. Isn't that the excuse you usually give me if I sleep for too long?"
"Luna…"
"Yes?" Luna asked in a sweet, innocent tone.
Celestia stood up and sighed. "Luna, as much as I love playing your games, now really isn't the time."
"It isn't?" Luna asked in her still-innocent tone. She lit her horn again and floated a fresh sheet from the cupboard. In a moment, the fabric spread and covered the entire bed.
Celestia shook her head. "Sometimes, I really don't know what's running through your head."
Luna chuckled. "Everything. Now climb back onto the bed."
As Celestia did as she was told, Luna gently floated a blanket on top of her sister and tucked her in, just like Celestia had done countless times for her. For a moment, she felt like she was putting a foal to sleep. A few thousand year old foal that was in the end of ends bigger than she was.
The thought alone was more than enough to make her laugh. With a smile on her muzzle, she leaned forward, kissed her sister's forehead and paused. She had given Celestia a goodnight kiss more times than she could remember, but unlike other times, she trembled. Something shifted inside of her. Unfortunately, Celestia noticed it too.
"Luna? You're acting strange… Is there something wrong?"
Instead of answering, Luna shook her head.
"Luna… I know you too well, remember?"
Luna sighed. "I'm worried, Tia. The heat… What if next time—"
Celestia lightly pressed her hoof against Luna's lips, disallowing her to finish the sentence. "Worry not, little sister. For that, I have exactly what you need."
Luna blinked.
"But it will have to wait until later."
"Of course," Luna muttered back. She turned towards the door and grabbed the ball of dirty sheets with her magic.
"Luna?"
Luna stopped. "What?"
"It may be unwise to go through that door. Imagine a pony missing for some time and then emerging from her sister's room…"
Luna subtly nodded, lit her horn, and disappeared in a flash of dark-blue light, leaving the dirty sheet in the room.
Celestia, now alone in her bedroom, giggled. "Silly Luna."
