Chapters Don't Dance with the Devil
"Curse you, Cuphead and Mugman!" the Devil said, shaking his fist as the two brothers burn all his soul contracts.
The two brothers, Cuphead and Mugman, had triumphed over The Devil, Lord of Darkness, along with his right-hand man, King Dice, and had destroyed all of his soul contracts, souls of characters that had sold them to the Devil. They had freed the inhabitants of their home, Inkwell isle, from servitude to the Devil.
Having destroyed all the contracts, both Cuphead and Mugman, turned to face the defeated Devil.
"This is the last time you'll steal someone else's soul," Cuphead declared.
The brothers both gasped, The Devil had vanished.
Equestria, Las Pegasus.
"Viva Las Pegasus," sang Discord, strumming on a ukulele.
"Do you have to keep singing that song?" Trixie asked, annoyed.
"You got no music in your sole, sister," Discord replied, snapping his fingers and his ukulele disappearing.
"I liked it," Thorax smiled.
"Guys, guys," Starlight said, "we're here to have fun, not bicker like foals."
"Starlight's right," Thorax nodded, "we should have fun and not fight among ourselves."
The four friends nodded and headed off to enjoy their fun time trip.
None of them noticed that the sign for Las Pegasus had 'under new management' written underneath it.
After a while, the four friends found themselves on a winning streak at the poker table.
"Well, I'll be," remarked a voice, "it seems these four can't lose."
The voice belonged to King Dice, Las Pegasus's new sleazy manager.
He watched as Starlight and her friends won game after game.
"Just look at all this!" Trixie squealed, looking in awe at all the poker chips they'd won.
"Maybe we should cash in and quit while we're ahead," Thorax smiled, nervously.
"Thorax has a point," Starlight agreed, "maybe its a good idea we....."
"Are you two crazy?!" Discord, exclaimed, "we're in the poker game now, it's go big or go home."
"Discord's right," Trixie nodded, "The Great and Powerful Trrrrrixie goes big or not at all!"
"Sounds like you four are a couple risk takers," an unfamiliar voice noted.
The four friends looked up from the poker table to see Las Pegasus's new owner, The Devil.
"Who are you?" Starlight asked.
"Why, I'm the new runner of Las Pegasus, don't you know," The Devil replied, "and I must say I'm impressed," he continued, "you and your friends certainly are on a mighty fine winning streak, so," he carried on, "how about we rise the stakes," he smiled, shuffling the poker cards, "win one more game and all the loot in Las Pegasus is yours," he boomed, as he finished shuffling the cards, "but if you lose I'll have all of your magic, what do ya say, deal?"
Starlight was about to say no, but it was too late.
Trixie had already picked up her cards and she, along with Discord had seated themselves at the poker table.
"Guys!" Thorax cried, "don't do it," he added, for he understood the danger.
"I have a good feeling about this," Trixie grinned, looking at her cards.
"Me too," Discord nodded, his eyes in the shape of poker chips.
Trixie pushed all their winnings into the middle to the table and turned her cards over so The Devil could see them.
"All in," she smiled, "read 'em and weep."
The Devil simply laughed, long and laugh.
"Five kings," he declared, showing his own cards to Trixie and Discord, "you loose."
All four of the friends trembled in fear as The Devil loomed over them.
"Now," The Devil said, "about that magic."
Starlight and the rest of her friends barely had time to react before their magic was drained from them, even Discord was drained of his magic.
"Well," The Devil remarked, "it seems that you four have outlived your usefulness."
With that, The Devil snapped his fingers and the four friends vanished.
"Dice, my friend" he smiled, pulling out a cigar and lighting it, "I think that this place is perfect for us."
The two laugh with each other.
Elsewhere.
The four friends found themselves, chained up and in a dungeon-like room,
"Well," Discord commented, "this situation seems formally."
"What do we do now?" Thorax asked.
"What can we do?" Trixie said, "without magic we're powerless."
"Come on, guys," Starlight replied, "I'm sure Twilight and her friends will come and rescue us."
Don't Dance with the Devil
Inkwell isle.
"Where do you think, The Devil disappeared to, Mug?" Cuphead asked.
"Who knows," Mugman replied, "we can rest easy knowing The Devil is somewhere else."
"I don't know, Mug," Cuphead said, "I just can't shake this uneasy feeling."
"I know what will get that feeling off your mind," Mugman smiled, "Sally Stageplay is premiering her new show, that should help ease your worry."
"Maybe your right," Cuphead nodded.
And with that the two brothers head off to theatre.
Equestria, The Castle of Friendship.
"I'm worried about Starlight," Twilight Sparkle, The Princess of Friendship commented, worriedly, "she and her friends have never been away this long."
"You worry to much, Twilight," Rainbow Dash replied.
"Rainbow's right," Applejack nodded, "Starlight can look after herself."
"Maybe your right," Twilight said, "maybe I'm worrying for no reason."
But as Twilight tried to agree with her friends, something was nagging at the back of her thoughts.
Inkwell isle.
"Thank you, thank you," Sally Stageplay smiled, "you're all too kind."
"Isn't she something, Cup?" Mugman asked his brother.
"I guess so," Cuphead replied.
"You need to relax, Cup" Mugman noted, "we beat the Devil and we won, end of story."
Cuphead didn't reply, Mugman noticed him looking franticly around the theatre.
"Maybe he's over there!" he mumbled, "maybe there! Or there!"
"What are you talking about?" Mugman asked.
"The Devil," Cuphead replied, "we need to find him!"
"If its really that important to you," Mugman nodded, "we'll go and speak to the Elder Kettle......after the show."
Equestria, The Castle of Friendship.
"Girls," Twilight said, finally, "we're going to Las Pegasus."
"Yay!" Pinkie Pie cheered, "road-trip!"
"Are you still worried about Starlight?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Yes," Twilight replied, "Starlight and her friends must be in trouble."
"Don't you think you're jumping to conclusions a bit, darling?" Rarity commented.
"Maybe so," Applejack said, "but we should still go and see if everything's alright."
Everypony nodded in agreement.
"Road-trip!" Pinkie Pie cheered.
Inkwell isle.
Cuphead and Mugman were in their home explaining Cuphead's uneasy feeling to their wise Elder Kettle.
"So you see," Mugman was saying, "Cuphead can't relax because he doesn't know where the Devil disappeared to."
"Cuphead is right to be worried," Elder Kettle answered, "The Devil hasn't just disappear from our world, he's disappeared from our dimension."
"What do you mean, our dimension?" Mugman inquired.
"It is just a legend," Elder Kettle explained, "but our world is one of many, each world more different from each other."
"Are you saying that the Devil has gone to another world?" Cuphead asked.
"It's a possibility," Elder Kettle replied, thoughtfully, "he maybe spreading his evil and sin to another unsuspecting world."
"Well, what are we waiting for," Cuphead said, "we have to get after The Devil."
"How?" Mugman asked, "The Elder Kettle said it was just a legend, who do we know with that kind of power to travel to other worlds?"
Cuphead thought for a moment, "maybe Djimmi The Great or Dr. Kahl could help us," he suggested, finally.
"Before you boys go," Elder Kettle added, "you two should take the potion I gave you when you two first fought The Devil."
Cuphead and Mugman nodded, taking the potion, they headed off to find a way to follow The Devil.
Equestria, Las Pegasus.
"Boss," King Dice said, "we got a problem."
"What?!" The Devil growled.
"Six ponies are snooping around," King Dice explained, "they said there looking for the four you drained of magic."
"Don't blow your wig Dice," The Devil replied.
He smiled, "I have something special planned for our six unwanted guests."
With that, The Devil snapped his fingers.
"Are you sure we're in the right place, Twilight?" Fluttershy asked.
For what had been Las Pegasus, had transformed into a maze, similar to the hedge maze in the Canterlot Castle.
Ahead of them were six paths lay before them.
"So what do we do now?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I guess we have to choose a path," Twilight replied.
With that, the six friends spilt up, each one choosing one of the six paths.
Inkwell isle.
Cuphead and Mugman walked into Dr. Kahl's workshop.
"Hey, Doc!" Cuphead called, "you in here?"
Soon after the mad scientist, Dr. Kahl appeared.
"Hello, boys," Dr. Kahl greeted, "good to see you again."
"Great to see you too, Doc," Cuphead answered.
"We need your help with something," Mugman continued, "we need a machine to help us travel to another world to stop The Devil."
"Can you do it?" Cuphead asked.
"It seems impossible," Dr. KahI replied, "but with someone of my genius nothing is impossible."
"Good to hear," Cuphead smiled.
"I'll start working on the plans now," Dr. Kahl nodded, rushing to his workstation and beginning to draw up plans for the dimensional transporter.
Equestria, The Devil's maze.
Twilight had been walking through the maze for what seemed like ages.
Suddenly she heard Starlight's voice ahead of her, "Twilight, Twilight, help me!"
"Starlight!" Twilight cried, galloping in the direction of the voice.
When she found where the voice had come from, Starlight was just standing there, motionless.
"Starlight," Twilight said, as she approached, "I'm so glad your alright."
"Yes, Twilight," Starlight replied, "I'm OK and soon you and your friends will be too."
Twilight was about to question what Starlight had said, but before she could do so, she found herself in a hypnotic state.
"Thats perfect," Starlight smiled, she quickly changed forms, revealing her to be The Devil.
The other members of the Mane Six had met with similar incidents.
With a snap of The Devil figures, the hedge maze disappeared, The Devil and the hypnotised Mane Six were teleported back to his office, at the centre of Las Pegasus.
The Devil smirked, puffing at his cigar he addressed the Mane Six, "You all work for me now, you are now my six deadly sins: Pride, Lust, Sloth, Wrath, Gluttony and Envy"
Twilight and her friends stepped forward, "We await your command," they all said, in a monotone voice.
"Good," The Devil smiled, he cackled.
Both The Devil and King Dice laughed, "Nothing can stop you now Boss," King Dice smiled.
"Yes," The Devil declared, "this whole world is our oyster."
Don't Dance with the Devil
Inkwell isle, Dr. Kahl's workshop.
"How's it going, Doc?" Cuphead asked.
"It's going brilliantly," Dr. Kahl replied, "but also not brilliantly."
"What are you talking about, Doc?" Mugman queried.
"I've completed the build for the transporter," Dr. Kahl said, "But I can't find anything powerful enough to power it."
"Who do we know with something like that?" Cuphead asked.
"I wish we knew," Mugman sighed.
"Did someone say 'wish'?" a voice asked.
In a flash, Djimmi The Great, the genie appeared.
"Hello boys," Djimmi greeted, "I hear that you are in need of my help."
"Yes, Djimmi," Cuphead nodded, "we do need you help, we need something with enough energy to power a transporter."
"Mmm," Djimmi said, thoughtfully, "I think I might have just what you boys wish for."
In puff of smoke, an Egyptian eye with a jewel in it appeared.
"The Ancient Eye of Horus should have the power you need," Djimmi continued.
"Thanks Djimmi," Mugman replied, taking the Eye of Horus.
"You boys freed my soul from The Devil," Djimmi smiled, "the least I can do is help you boys track The Devil down."
Dr. Kahl took the Eye from Mugman and plugged it into the transporter.
"Well," he said, "here goes nothing."
With that, Dr. Kahl pressed the transporter's activation button.
At first, nothing happened then there was a surge of energy from the Eye and the machine wired into life.
"It works," Dr. Kahl exclaimed, "IT WORKS!"
"Well," Cuphead said, "it's time for us to face The Devil once again."
"Before, you boys go," Dr. Kahl added, "take these."
He handed over two watch-like devices.
"What are these?" Mugman asked, as he and Cuphead took the devices.
"Just a way for you two to communicate with us," Dr. Kahl answered, "in case, you boys need help."
"Good to know, Doc," Cuphead replied.
Having readied themselves, Cuphead and Mugman walk into the portal.
"What do we do now?" Djimmi queried, after the brothers had vanished.
"The only thing we can do," Dr. Kahl replied, "wait."
Equestria, Las Pegasus.
"Just as I thought," Cuphead commented, as he and Mugman exited the portal, "This place has The Devil written all over it."
"So where do we start looking?" Mugman asked.
The Devil's office.
"Now, my little sins," The Devil smiled, "Let's see what you can do."
He pointed at Rainbow Dash, "you, Sloth," he commanded, "show us what you got."
"Sounds like too much work," Slothbow Dash replied.
"Pick me! pick me!" Applepride interrupted, "I'm waaaaay better than her."
There was a munching sound from behind the five sins, they turned to see Gluttony Pie indulging herself, with a massive cake.
"Perfect," The Devil beamed, "you're all just as I envisioned you."
"Oh, Dicey," Lustery cooed, "you look stunning in that bowtie."
"Back off, sister!" growled Flutterenvy, "he should be mine!"
"Chillax, Flutterenvy," Slothbow Dash sighed, "it wasn't meant to be."
"WILL YOU ALL JUST SHUT UP!" Wrathlight Sparkle roared, "ARRRR, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I WAS PUT IN COMMAND OF YOU IDIOTS!"
"You've defiantly outdone yourself, boss," King Dice commented.
"You don't need to keep telling me, Dice," The Devil replied.
The Dungeon.
"Do you have the time?" Discord asked.
"No," Thorax answered, "you've being asking that hours."
While Discord and Thorax were arguing, Starlight noticed Trixie marking out tally marks on the wall.
"Don't give up, Trixie," Starlight said, putting a hoof on Trixie's shoulder, "Twilight and her friends will come for us."
"Sure," Trixie replied, marking another tally mark.
Las Pegasus.
"The Devil could be anywhere in this place," Mugman said, looking around at the slot machines, poker tables and mini-bars.
"If I know The Devil," Cuphead replied, "he'll be right at the heart of all of this."
The two continued to wander around, looking high and low for any sign of The Devil or King Dice.
While they continued their search, a pair of eyes watched the brothers.
Eyes that belonged to King Dice, "Cuphead and Mugman here?!" he exclaimed.
King Dice dashed off in the direction on The Devil's office, "I gotta warn the boss," he thought.
The Devil's office.
The Devil was counting all the money that his casino was making.
"Good, good," he smiled, to himself, as he counted stacks and stacks of bits.
"Boss!" cried King Dice, as he burst into the office, "boss, we've got trouble!"
"What is it, Dice?!" The Devil asked, mildly annoyed at his right hand man for interrupting his money count.
"It's Cuphead and Mugman," King Dice responded, "they followed us somehow, I don't know how, but they've followed us."
At the mention of the brother's names, fire ignited inside The Devil's eyes.
"CUPHEAD. AND. MUGMAN!" he thundered, his piles of money spilling all over his desk.
"What are we going to do, boss?" King Dice asked, "those little mugs are going to ruin everything, again."
"I don't need to be reminded, Dice," The Devil grumbled, "if those two are here it can only mean trouble for us."
He snapped his fingers, and the Mane Sins appeared in the room.
"What are we doing here?" Wrathlight Sparkle demanded.
"I was in the middle of sleeping," Slothbow Dash nodded, sleepily.
"The six of you are to destroy Cuphead and Mugman," The Devil said, "they are not to make it anywhere near me and King Dice."
"Too much work," Slothbow Dash yawned.
"I'm too full to move," Gluttony Pie added, crumbs of cake all over her face.
"Anything of you, Devil," Lustery said, dreamily.
"Me too," Flutterenvy chipped in, "anything for you."
"I'll lead the team," Applepride butted in, "I am the best suited for the job."
"No," The Devil interrupted, "let Cuphead and Mugman come to you, you'll find it much easier."
"Whatever ways easier," Slothbow Dash replied, "I'm up for that."
The other five sins all nodded, accepting The Devil's orders.
"Go now, my sins," The Devil commanded, "show those mugs what happens when you wreak my fun, twice."
With that, The Devil snapped his fingers and the Mane Sins vanished.
"You think sending the sins, is a good idea, boss?" King Dice asked.
"Who cares," The Devil replied, "even if those two managed to beat my sins, I've got enough magic to flatten the two of them into tomorrow."
The Devil smiled to himself, pulling out a cigar, lighting it, and starting to count his money again.

Chapter 5 - Slippery Sloth
The Devil's dungeon.
"You know something," Discord said, "I don't think we're getting out of here."
"You're right," Discord replied.
"That means that they're all going to turn on us," Discord continued.
"Then we better strike first before any of the others do," Discord nodded.
"But which one?" Discord asked.
"Which indeed?" Discord smiled.
"Did you say something, Discord?" Trixie asked.
"Arrr.....no" Discord replied, whistling innocently.
Starlight, Trixie and Thorax all rolled their eyes.
Las Pegasus.
Cuphead, Mugman and Pinkie Pie wondered about, looking for any sight of the other members of the Mane Six.
"....And that's how Equestria was made," Pinkie finished, she had been explaining the history of Equestria to the two brothers.
"I still can't get my head around it," Cuphead replied, "this whole world is populated by talking horses."
"Ponies, Cup," Mugman corrected his brother, "they're ponies."
"Oh, yeah," Pinkie continued, "well, I still can't get my head around your heads being cups and mugs."
"I think we're getting off track, here," Cuphead interrupted, "we should be looking for your missing friends."
"Right," Pinkie nodded, "also how do you two shot from your fingers?"
"That would be this," Mugman answered, holding up the Elder Kettle's potion.
"Oh, that explains it," Pinkie replied.
With that, the three continued their search.
The Devil's office.
"Well, sending Gluttony was a brilliant idea," Wrathlight Sparkle said, sarcastically.
"Send me next, my lord," Lustery begged.
"Send me," Applepride jumped in.
"SILENCE!" The Devil thundered, "the next one I'm going send is Slothbow Dash."
"Ok, seriously," Applepride responded, "why?"
"Yeah," agreed Lustery, "look at her," she pointed to where Slothbow Dash lay, snoring sound asleep.
"Regardless," The Devil said, "Slothbow will be the next sin to face Cuphead and Mugman, no questions asked."
"But...." Applepride began.
"I SAID NO QUESTION ASKED !" The Devil repeated.
With that, The Devil snapped his fingers and Slothbow vanished.
"This will end well," Applepride said.
Las Pegasus.
Cuphead, Mugman and Pinkie Pie were still looking around for any clue that would lead them to any one of the Mane Six.
"So where do you think your friends might be?" Cuphead asked.
"Beats the heck out of me," Pinkie replied.
"Maybe we could ask someone in there," Mugman suggested, pointing at an ominous-looking hotel.
"Good thinking, mug," Cuphead nodded.
"Okie, dokie, loki," Pinkie agreed.
The three entered the hotel and rang the bell at the desk.
"Can I help you?" the receptionist asked, as she appeared.
"We were wondering if you'd seen anyone...." Cuphead began.
"Anypony," Pinkie corrected.
"Right," Cuphead nodded, "anypony called Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity and Twilight Sparkle?"
"Mmm," the receptionist said, looking over the guest list, "we do have a guest under the name Dash."
"That must be one of Pinkie's friends," Mugman nodded.
"She's waiting for you in her room," the receptionist continued, "in the V.I.P. sweet, on the top floor."
"Thank you," Cuphead replied.
The three of them headed for the lift and stepped inside.
"Right," Mugman said, pressing the button for the floor they wanted, "straight to the top, the V.I.P. suite."
The lift began to ascend.
"This music sounds familiar," Cuphead said, listening to the music playing in the lift.
After a long wait, the lift arrived at the V.I.P. suite, floor 666.
"This is it," Mugman breathed.
The three exited the lift.
A long corridor stretched out before trio, at the end of the corridor was the door to the room they were looking for.
"It's almost like someone wants us to get this far," Pinkie said, as they approached the door.
"Nothing new for me and mug," Cuphead smiled.
Still smiling, Cuphead turn the handle and open the door.
From inside the room, the sound of snaring could be heard.
"Maybe we should come back later," Mugman whispered.
Cuphead was about to reply, when the snaring stopped.
"You Cuphead and Mugman?" a lazy sounding voice asked.
"Yes," Cuphead replied.
There was slow movement, as something crawled out from the bed.
"Well," Slothbow Dash said, "the sooner I beat you and your friend the sooner I can get back to sleeping."
"Hold on, Dashie!" Pinkie cried, "we're coming to save you."
A great slam and then some!
Cuphead, Mugman and Pinkie all attacked together, the brothers firing the finger bullets and Pinkie firing her party cannon.
Slothbow Dash blocked or just let the attacks hit her.
"I will beat you," Slothbow Dash declared, yawning, "eventually."
The Devil's office.
The Devil, King Dice and the other four sins watched Slothbow Dash's fight with Cuphead, Mugman and Pinkie Pie.
"Picking Sloth 'sure' was a good idea," Wrathlight Sparkle remarked, sarcastically.
"I would have finished them in one move," Applepride added.
"I would have done that too," Flutterenvy snapped, "only I'd do it better."
Lustery simply gazed at The Devil, a dreamy look on her face.
"The sins have a point, boss," King Dice said.
"Alright, fine!" The Devil responded, "I think Slothbow could use a little boost."
The Devil snapped his fingers.
"That should do it," The Devil smiled.
Back to the fight.
Cuphead noticed something had changed, "Is it just me," he asked, "or is our attacker getting fast?"
He was right, of course, thanks to The Devil's meddling, everything around the three heroes had been slowed to a crawl.
"Makes my job easier," Slothbow Dash smiled.
She began moving around the room, throwing punches and kick at the trio.
Mugman retaliated by firing his spread shot at Slothbow Dash.
"It's no use," he said, as Slothbow dodged his attack.
"Our attacks are too slow," Cuphead cried.
"I think I might have something for a situation like this," Pinkie suggested.
From out of her mane Pinkie pulled out a Phenomnomenon, which she then shallowed whole.
Pinkie then began to vibrate and her eyes went wide, the effects of the time slow seemed to have no effect on her anymore.
Pinkie quickly fired a blast of her super-sticky double-bubble bubble-gum cake mix in Slothbow Dash's direction, sticking her in place.
"She's all yours," Pinkie declared, once she'd freed Cuphead and Mugman from the time slow effects.
Both brothers nodded, Cuphead fired his chaser shot, while Mugman fired off a hail of finger bullets.
Knockout!
Slothbow Dash had been defeated.
"Arrr," she groaned, "my head, what happened?"
"Dashie!" Pinkie cried, running up and hugging her friend.
"Pinkie," Rainbow Dash gasped, "I can't breath."
Pinkie let her friend go, allowing her friend to breath.
Rainbow Dash was about ask what was going on and where the other members of the Mane Six were, when she noticed Cuphead and Mugman.
"OK," she said, "I think I might have hit my head really hard."
"Not at all," Mugman replied, "your one of Pinkie's friends, right?"
"Yeah," Rainbow Dash nodded.
"Well," Cuphead smiled, "any friend of Pinkie Pie's is a friend to me and Mugman."
Rainbow Dash still look confused.
"Allow me to explain everything, Dashie," Pinkie said.

Chapter 6 - Perilous Pride
The Devil's dungeon.
"I'm getting worried about Discord," Trixie whispered, to Starlight.
"Me, too," Thorax nodded, "he's acting strange."
"Discord...acting strange," Starlight said.
"I mean, stranger then normal," Trixie replied.
She motioned at Discord, who was staring at the three as if they weren't there, muttering to himself.
"Da-dee-la!" he said, "I'm Opposite Discord, and I want to Orange you glad I've changed? If you ever need a little chaos in your act, let me a trick that'll turn Celestia's castle into cheese. Do you think it's a "gouda" idea? "I'm going to need more popcorn...I gotta have more cowbell!"
"Should we be worried?" Thorax asked.
"I don't know," Starlight replied.
Las Pegasus.
"So you two are from a whole other world," Rainbow Dash said, as she, Pinkie Pie and the two brothers walked around Las Pegasus looking for the last four members of the Mane Six.
"Yep," Cuphead replied, "and the being that corrupted you and your friends is called The Devil and he's from the same world that me and Mugman are from."
"That's why they came here," Pinkie continued, "To help free our friends and defeat The Devil."
"I guess that makes sense," Rainbow Dash said, slowly trying to wrap her head around what she had just been told.
The Devil's office.
"Still think it was a good idea to send Sloth?" Wrathlight Sparkle asked.
"Don't get snippy with me," The Devil snapped, "how was I supposed to know that pink pony had a way to get past my powers."
"Anyway," he continued, "it's time to pick one of you to face the mugs and their allies."
"Pick me, pick me!" Applepride cried, "please pick me."
"No, pick me," Flutterenvy jumped in, "I'm can beat them better than her."
"I'll do whatever you want, my lord," Lustery swooned.
"For the love of...." Wrathlight Sparkle sighed, "SEND ME! I'm more qualified to destroy them than these idiots!"
"Applepride," The Devil announced, "you're next, please try to last longer than the first two."
The other three sins didn't react, they had, by now, given up questioning their master's choices.
"Oh, thank you," Applepride cheered, "I won't let you down."
"I hope you don't" The Devil replied.
Like before, The Devil snapped fingers and Applepride vanished.
Las Pegasus.
"I don't know about you guys," Rainbow Dash said, "but searching for me and Pinkie's friends is making me thirsty."
"I hear that," Mugman nodded, "all this searching is quite draining."
"How about that place," Cuphead suggested, pointing out a nearby tavern, the name The Drunken Demon, hung outside.
"Sounds like a plan," Pinkie nodded.
With that, the four friends headed into the tavern.
Once inside, they all headed to the bar.
"What can I get you four?" the bartender, asked.
"Two apple ciders for us," Rainbow Dash replied.
"We'll have whatever you've got," Cuphead added.
The bartender nodded and hurried off to fetch their drinks.
The four friends took a seat at a table.
Moments later, a figure brought the four drinks to the table.
While Cuphead and Mugman were enjoying their drinks and while nopony was looking, the figure put a drop of a mystery liquid into the brother's heads.
Cuphead began to feel wheezy and light-headed, "Whats in these drinks?" he asked, his vision starting to distort.
"Somepony must have spiked their drinks," Pinkie Pie exclaimed.
"Hey!" Rainbow Dash called, to the figure who had brought them their drinks, "what did you put in those drinks?!"
"Oh," the figure, who had brought the drinks over, replied, "I just added my special ingredient."
"Hmmm," Pinkie said, looking hard at the figure, "you look familiar."
The figure laughed, manically, "I guess I can't hide anymore," she smiled.
With that, the figure throw off her disguise, revealing herself to be.....
"Applejack?!" Rainbow Dash cried.
"That's Applepride to you," Applepride replied, "and thanks to my triple strength zap apple cider concoction, Cuphead and Mugman won't be a problem."
"You made a big mistake," Pinkie declared, "you've got to deal me and Rainbow Dash."
Applepride laughed, "the two of you won't be enough to beat me," she smirked.
Here's a real high-class bout!
Pinkie Pie pulled out her party cannon and fire off a few blast at Applepride.
She, with rapid reaction, dodged her attack.
Before she could retaliate, Rainbow Dash flew at her, trying to create a whirlwind to knock her off her hooves.
But Applepride, manage to stop her before she could ever start the whirlwind, hurling a container of something sticky at her.
"What is this?" Rainbow Dash asked, struggling against the substance as it hardened.
"That would be my Cider Cement," Applepride smiled, "don't worry you won' t be stuck forever," she continued, "just long enough for me to deal with you and your pink friend."
She turned to face Pinkie Pie, "now to finish you," Applepride said, "this shouldn't take long."
The Devil office.
"Whats the reason you call us here?" Flutterenvy asked.
"I would like to know too," Lustery nodded, "ever minute I spend away from my lord is torture."
"The reason I called you two here," Wrathlight Sparkle replied, "is because I'm getting tired of our master's tactics."
"So what do you suggest we do?" Flutterenvy inquired.
"I suggest we go and take on the two mugs and their allies all together," Wrathlight replied, "no more of this 'one at a time' nonsense."
"You have a point," Flutterenvy nodded, "I'm in."
"Well I don't know," Lustery said, "I hate to go against our lord and master."
"I'm sure that the master would reward you for doing this," Wrathlight added.
"I'm in," Lustery replied, quickly.
"Then it's settled," Wrathlight smiled.
She began explaining her plan to the other two sins.
Back to the battle.
Pinkie Pie had managed to free Rainbow Dash from the cement trap, using hot sauce, and the two were now facing down Applepride.
"Give up," Rainbow Dash declared, "your finished."
"Yeah, you meanie," Pinkie nodded, "give up."
Applepride laughed, "I can't beat me I'm unstoppable!"
"Whatever," Rainbow Dash replied.
Before Applepride could react, Rainbow Dash flew at her, knocking her off her hooves.
Pinkie follow with a quick blast of sticky toffee from her party cannon.
With Rainbow Dash, delivering the finishing blow.
Knockout!
Applepride had been defeated.
"What the hay?" she asked.
"Applejack!" Rainbow Dash cried, glad to have her friend back.
"Welcome back," Pinkie added.
"Does somepony wanna tell me what the hay is going on?" Applejack said.
Pinkie and Rainbow Dash were about to explain, but they were interrupted as Cuphead and Mugman who were recovered from their drunken stupor.
"What happened?" Cuphead moaned, "I don't remember anything."
"Me nether," Mugman blubbed, though his disorientated haze.
"Nice to have you two back," Rainbow Dash said.
"Did we miss anything?" Mugman asked.
Then Cuphead and Mugman noticed Applejack.
"We missed the whole fight?!" Cuphead exclaimed.
"Well anyway," Mugman said, "good to see that you manage to break The Devil's hold over your friend."
The Element of Honesty has joined the party
The Devil's office.
"Blast it!" The Devil fumed, "even when those mugs are out, those ponies find a way to defeat my sins!"
"I guess, its time to pick another sin to send," King Dice suggested.
"Fine," The Devil nodded.
"Sins to me!" The Devil commanded.
But the last three were nowhere to seen.
"Great," The Devil growled, "just what I need, next time I make minions I'll make incapable independent thought."
Back with the heroes.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie had finished telling Applejack who Cuphead and Mugman were and why they had come to Equestria.
"Well," Applejack said, "we'd better get searching for Twilight, Fluttershy and Rarity."
"That could take ages," Cuphead replied, "where do we even start looking?"
"Oh, I don't think you'll have to look that far," a voice answered.
All the heroes turned and gasped.
Here comes some new challengers!
Don't Dance with the Devil
Chapter 7 - Treacherous Trio
"Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity," Applejack gasped, "what's happened to you?!"
"That's Wrathlight Sparkle, Flutterenvy and Lustery, to you," Wrathlight snapped.
"We're way better now," Flutterenvy replied, "we're new and improved."
"We're way more powerful," Lustery finished, "way more beautiful."
"Whoever you are," Rainbow Dash declared, "we are taking you down!"
"Yeah," Cuphead nodded, "what she said."
Wrathlight smiled, "I'm going to enjoy crushing you and then your spirt," she smirked.
A brawl is surely brewing!
All the heroes charged at the three sins.
Rainbow Dash engaging Flutterenvy, trying to not to hurt her friend.
Applejack and Cuphead battling against Lustery, the sin fighting the two with energy kisses.
And finally, Pinkie Pie and Mugman engaging Wrathlight Sparkle, Wrathlight attacking with her powerful blasts of magic.
"Once we have beaten you," Wrathlight laughed, "The Devil shall rule this world and it shall be plagued by sin and evil."
"Living in a world of sin," Pinkie replied, "sorry, but thats a party I don't want to be a part of."
"That goes double for me and Cup," Mugman nodded, "living in sin, thats not really living."
Elsewhere, Rainbow Dash's fight with Flutterenvy was going well.
Rainbow Dash had manage to disorientated the sin and was now trying to finish her off.
Lastly, Applejack and Cuphead's battle with Lustery was almost finished.
Cuphead caught the sin distracted by firing his roundabout shots, while Applejack sneaked up behind her and lassoed her to the ground.
Cuphead finished Lustery off with a single charge shot.
Knockout!
Rainbow Dash finished Flutterenvy by flying circles around her and then knocking her off her hooves before the sin even know what was happening.
Knockout!
With two of the sins out of the picture, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Cuphead and Mugman all surrounded Wrathlight Sparkle.
"Give up!" Applejack cried, "your finished."
"You've got no one else to hide behind!" Rainbow Dash added.
"Yeah, you meanie," Pinkie Pie finished, "you are going down!"
Both Cuphead and Mugman nodded in agreement.
Wrathlight laughed, "You fools really think that you can beat me," she cackled, "well, what say we turn up the heat."
Wrathlight's eyes turned red and her mane began to smoke, then bursting into furious flames.
"Looks like phase two," Cuphead remarked.
"Then let's give it all we've got," Applejack declared.
"Yeah," Rainbow Dash nodded, "if we work together we can beat her."
This match will get red hot!
Wrathlight began her attack, firing blasts of fire at the heroes in all directions.
All the heroes avoid the attack and countered, but none of their attack seemed to affect her.
Wrathlight laughed, "your every attack fuels my power!" she declared.
"Then maybe you need cooling down," Pinkie Pie smiled.
Pinkie began launching water balloons from her party cannon, at the sin.
"Ahhh!" Wrathlight screamed, "I hate water, it burns!"
While she was distract, Rainbow Dash flew around the sin in a rapid circle, sucking away her oxygen and lower her flames.
"She's still standing?!" Cuphead exclaimed.
"Can anything stop her?!" Mugman finished.
In answer, Wrathlight released unleashed a huge wave of fire, "You can't stop me!" she roared.
Everyone was knocked away by the fire wave.
"So," Wrathlight smiled, standing over a defeated Applejack, "you really thought you could beat, the most powerful sin of all?"
"Twilight," Applejack begged, "if there anything left of you in there, you have to fight The Devil's control."
"Don't you get it, yet?" Wrathlight replied, "your friend is no more."
"Then what are you waiting for?" Applejack asked, "if your going to finish us, do it quickly."
Wrathlight smiled, a ball of flame forming at the tip of her horn, "Farewell, hero," she laughed.
Applejack closed her eyes and waited for the end.
When nothing happened, Applejack opened her eyes.
Wrathlight looked like she was going to fire it at Applejack, but something was holding her back, making her hesitate.
"What's wrong with me?" Wrathlight said.
Suddenly, Wrathlight collapsed to the ground writhing around.
"What's happening to her?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"I don't know," Cuphead responded.
As the heroes watched, something seemed to be trying to break free from the sin.
"No!" a voice cried, seemingly from inside of Wrathlight, "I will not hurt my friends!"
Soon enough, the form of an alicorn appeared, trying to separate itself from the Wrathlight's body.
"Twilight!" Pinkie Pie called.
"Got any ideas, Cup?" Mugman asked.
"I have one," Cuphead nodded.
From out of Cuphead emerged his Giant Ghost attack, which rushed at Wrathlight and laid furious beatdown to the sin.
Knockout!
Wrathlight Sparkle had been defeated.
"What happened?" asked Rarity.
"I'd like to know too," Fluttershy nodded, as she and Rarity come over the group.
Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie were about to explain.
When Twilight Sparkle began to stir, "Arrrr," she groaned.
"Twilight!" Pinkie cried, "your alright."
"Whats happening?" Twilight asked, "wheres Starlight and the others?"
Before Twilight could go any further, she, Fluttershy and Rarity noticed Cuphead and Mugman.
"Hi, there," Cuphead smiled.
All Twilight, Fluttershy and Rarity could do in response was stare.
"We can explain," Rainbow Dash said, Applejack and Pinkie Pie nodded ready to help her explain.
The Elements of Kindness, Generosity and Magic have joined the party
The Devil's office.
Both King Dice and The Devil sat in stunned silence.
Watching as Rainbow Dash and the others began explaining to the last three Mane Six members who Cuphead and Mugman were and why they had come to Equestria.
After a long while, King Dice spoke up, "What do we do now, boss?" he asked.
The Devil took a long pause before answering, "The only thing we can do," he said, finally, "we wait for them to come to us."
"You think thats a good idea, boss?" King Dice queried.
"Those ponies came here to save their friends," The Devil responded, "so if they want to find them, they have to go through me."
The Devil cackled.
The Devil's dungeon.
"Starlight," Trixie said, "I think Discord's gone off the deep end."
"I think you might be right," Starlight replied.
Thorax nodded in agreement.
Discord was now, talking to himself again, only this time when he replied he did an impression of Fluttershy.
"Don't worry, Discord," Discord Fluttershy said, "I'll protect you from any danger."
"Oh, your so kind and brave, Fluttershy," Discord replied, "I don't know what I'd do without you."
"Well," Discord Fluttershy responded, "I try."
Starlight, Trixie and Thorax watched as Discord continued his conversation.
"I guess we'll just have to let this play out," Starlight said.
Don't Dance with the Devil
Las Pegasus.
"First things first," Twilight said, "we need to head back to Ponyville."
"WHAT!" Rainbow Dash along with Cuphead and Mugman cried.
"Why?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"If this Devil is as powerful as Cuphead and Mugman say," Twilight replied, "and I'm willing to bet that he's the one who kidnapped Starlight and her friends."
"IF the Devil's got your friends," Cuphead added, "he's probably made a deal with them and taken something from them when they fell for his easy persuasion."
"Do you have any idea, what your friends have that The Devil might want?" Mugman asked.
"The only thing, I can think of is magic," Twilight replied.
"Then that's what he must have taken from your friends," Cuphead stated.
"What a minute," Applejack interjected, "are you saying that, this Devil fella, has the magic from Discord, Thorax, Trixie and Starlight?!"
"That's about the size of it," Mugman responded.
"That's why we need to go back to Ponyville," Twilight said, "if The Devil has Discord's powers then we're going to need the Elements of Harmony to negate the magic The Devil has at his command."
"Sounds like a plan," Rainbow Dash smiled.
"Agreed," Rarity nodded, "I need a break from this vile place."
Everpony nodded, even Cuphead and Mugman agreed.
The Devil's Dungeon.
"Does anypony have an idea?" Starlight asked.
"I think I might have an idea," Trixie replied.
She whispered her idea to Starlight and Thorax.
"Guard!" Trixie cried, "my companions has gone insane, I don't know what he'll do."
The demon outside the cell arrived, "What?" he asked.
Trixie pointed at Discord, who was now rambling non-stop.
"I'm a rocket man," he sang, then he sighed, "oh, come on, that's all you got for me! Who old is that song? What we need is a rocket launcher pointed at the writer's face, forget this, guys, I'll be in my trailer."
"I'm worried about him," Trixie said, "can you get him to a doctor?"
The guard shrugged, he unlocked the cell door and entered.
The moment he entered the cell, Starlight tackled him from behind.
Before the cell door could close, Thorax held the door wide open.
"We have to go, now!" Starlight cried.
"What about Discord?" Thorax asked.
"Just grab him and lets go!" Trixie ordered.
Without another word, Thorax grabbed Discord and dashed out of the cell.
"There's a door ahead," Starlight pointed.
All of the friends made a mad dash towards the door.
"I hope this leads to the exit," Trixie said.
With that, Starlight opened the door.
"Peek-a-boo!" The Devil laughed, as he stood in the doorway blocking their escape.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH" Thorax, Trixie and Starlight all screamed in fright.
"Hey, I said no pepperoni you idiot," Discord hollered.
Ponyville, The Tree of Harmony.
"That's beautiful," Cuphead said as he and Mugman stared up at the Tree of Harmony.
"It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," Mugman nodded.
"There's no time to dwell on that, now," Twilight stated, as she removed the Elements of Harmony from the tree and handed them to her friends.
"Twilight's right," Rainbow Dash agreed, as she placed her element into her necklace, "it's time to get serious."
The rest of the Mane Six nodded in agreement, their respected elements now emplaned in their necklaces.
"Alright, everypony," Applejack smiled, "it's time to show The Devil how we do things here in Equestria!"
"YEAH!" Everypony along with Cuphead and Mugman responded, in unison.
"Alright, girls," Rainbow Dash nodded, "let's do this!"
Everypony, along with Cuphead and Mugman, gathered round Twilight.
Twilight's horn glowed and, in a flash, the group vanished.
Don't Dance with the Devil
Twilight Sparkle, her friends, Cuphead and Mugman reappeared outside of Las Pegasus.
"What happened?" Cuphead asked, "I thought you were going to teleport us inside Las Pegasus."
"It's The Devil's magic," Twilight replied, "Discord's magic is unpredictable, it must have thrown off my teleportation spell."
"No time to worry about that now," Applejack said, "we need to find The Devil and stop him."
The others nodded in agreement and, without another word, they all headed into Las Pegasus.
The Devil's Office.
"Boss," King Dice said, "Cuphead, Mugman and their pony friends, they're back."
"Well, you know the drill, Dice," The Devil replied, "Stall them and if you can.....destroy them."
King Dice nodded and turned to leave, "before you go," The Devil added, "A gift, an upgrade if you will."
A small ball of magical energy appeared in his hand.
"Thank you, boss," King Dice said, taking the magical energy and absorbing it into himself, "I won't fail."
With that, King Dice exited the office.
"I hope you don't," The Devil uttered, "like you did last time."
Las Pegasus.
"Trust me," Cuphead was saying, "Mug and I have fought The Devil before so I'm willing to bet that he'll send King Dice to stall us."
"Then we'd better be ready for anything," Twilight nodded.
Applejack was about to say something, but was interrupted by a sudden burst of laugher.
"I'm afraid the boss is unavoidably detained," King Dice declared, as appeared in front of the group.
"I however," he continued, "I have been given orders to destroy you."
"What you?" Rainbow Dash asked, "fight us, by yourself?"
King Dice smiled at Rainbow Dash's confusion, "Who said I was alone?" he replied, King Dice snapped his fingers.
Before ether, the Mane Six, Cuphead or Mugman could react a group enemies materialised in front of them.
These enemies being: Demon bat, Jelly the Octopus, Gentlemen Spider, Betty Beet, Pirouletta and Mangosteen.
"Believe me," King Dice declared, "I am far from alone."
A great slam and then some!
With that, the Mane Six, Cuphead and Mugman engaged the enemies.
Rainbow Dash and Applejack took on Betty Beet.
Rarity and Fluttershy took on the Gentlemen Spider and Demon bat.
Pinkie Pie and Mugman took on Jelly the Octopus.
Twilight Sparkle and Cuphead took on Pirouletta and Mangosteen.
All this was happening, while King Dice watched.
"Since when could King Dice summons enemies, like this?" Mugman asked, as he and Pinkie evaded Jelly the Octopus's tentacle attacks.
"It must be The Devil, he must have given him a boost with the magic he stole," Twilight replied, as she and Cuphead dodged Pirouletta and Mangosteen's attacks, Pirouletta with her roulette balls and Mangosteen with his billiard chalk minions and firing blasts of color spectrum orbs.
"Then we'd better take these losers down as quick as possible," Rainbow Dash said, as she and Applejack battled against Betty Beet, doing their best of avoid Betty's mini Beet minion projectiles.
"Rainbow Dash is right," Rarity nodded, as she and Fluttershy did there best to evade Gentlemen Spider's and Demon bat's attacks, Gentlemen Spider attacking with shots of webbing and Demon bat attacking with his bats and his howl, "ever second we spend here fighting King Dice and his compatriots, the closer The Devil is getting to completing whatever he's planning."
"Then we'd better think of something," Cuphead cried, "and fast!"
Mugman, thinking fast, whispered in Pinkie's ear.
Pinkie nodded, the two put their plan in action, Pinkie fired a shot of confetti right into Jelly's eyes, blinding him, while he was distracted, Mugman dashed at Jelly and parry slapped the pink orb atop the enemy's head.
Knockout!
Rainbow Dash and Applejack were the next ones to finish off their opponent, Applejack managed to grab on Betty Beet's projectiles and kicked it right back at her, striking Betty in the face and stunning her.
Before she could recover, Rainbow Dash finished Betty off with quick flurry of attacks.
Knockout!
Rarity and Fluttershy's battle with Gentlemen Spider and Demon bat ended swiftly, Gentlemen Spider fired a shot of webbing at Rarity, just before the webbing hit, Rarity ducked, the webbing instead hit Demon bat, sticking him to the ground, Fluttershy finished off Demon bat with a swift strike.
Knockout!
Rarity followed, finishing off Gentlemen Spider with a quick kick to the face.
Knockout!
Twilight and Cuphead's conflict with Pirouletta and Mangosteen concluded promptly, Cuphead fired his Milk Beam at Pirouletta finishing her off, while Twilight ended Mangosteen with powerful blast of magic.
Knockout!
"Arrr," Twilight remarked, as Mangosteen began to melt into a puddle black ooze, all while vomiting black gunk from his mouth, "that is disgusting."
With all of the enemies dealt with the Mane Six along with Cuphead and Mugman turned to face, the now defenceless, King Dice.
"Alright, Dicey," Pinkie declared, "you've played all your cards."
"Now, give up!" Rainbow Dash cried, "before we bring down the house of cards on top of you."
King Dice laughed, "Oh, I think not," he smiled.
From out of King Dice's sleeves, anthropomorphic playing cards appeared.
"I think you'll find that the deck is always staked in my favour," he smirked.
But before, the cards could attack, they were all dispatched by a blast from the Elements of Harmony.
"I think thats enough tricks out of you," Rarity said, a hint of annoyance in her voice.
King Dice was just about to try another attack, only to be hit by a final shot from both Cuphead and Mugman.
Knockout!
"Forgive me, Boss!" King Dice cried, "I have failed you, once again!"
With that, King Dice collapsed to the ground.
Shortly after, a small ball of magical energy separated from King Dice, which then, headed towards The Devil's Office.
"Come on, girls," Twilight said, "let's go."
"Yeah," Rainbow Dash nodded, "we've got a world and some friends to save, in that order."
And without another word, the Mane Six followed by Cuphead and Mugman hurried off towards The Devil's Office.
Don't Dance with the Devil
Inside The Devil's Office, The Devil sat on his throne, staring at different windows showing different worlds, these being: Night in the Woods, Shovel Knight, Undertale, Super Meat Boy, to name a few.
"So many worlds," he murmured, to himself, "so many souls to steal and corrupt."
"Devil!!!" the voice of Cuphead shouted.
The Devil turned around to face the heroes, "Well, well, well," he smiled, "look how far you've come! Not only did you defeat my sins AND every other monster I've tried to throw at you, but it seems that even WITH the upgrade I was generous enough to give him, my no-good lackey King Dice was still no match for you."
"Seriously?" Twilight responded, "'No-good lackey?' Is that anyway to talk about your most loyal follower? Probably the closest thing you have to a friend?"
The Devil simply shrugged, "To be honest," he replied, "if he couldn't handle you eight, yes. That IS a good way to talk about him. Anyway, I COULD just crush the eight of you where you stand, but I would prefer to offer you a deal. It WOULD be nice to actually have COMPETENT underlings for a change, so maybe we could make a deal instead."
"Forget it!" Rainbow Dash said, defiantly, "We worked for you before and we aren't falling for your tricks again!"
"That's right," Applejack, along with everypony else, nodded, "The only 'deal' we are interested in is you releasing our friends unharmed, returning things to the way they were BEFORE you began your shenanigans AND you going back to your own universe. We can do that the easy way or the hard way."
The Devil smirked at Applejack's response, "So that's the way you want to play it, huh?" he smiled.
Before, any of the heroes could attack him, The Devil snapped his fingers and suddenly there was a flash of fire and brimstone, when it cleared there stood evil versions of the Mane Six, Cuphead and Mugman.
"Well, let's have at it!" The Devil declared.
"Bringing the blinding white light of evil into the future!" the evil Twilight said.
"Thrusting the hammer of sin and misfortune down onto the black darkness of the universe!" the evil Rainbow Dash continued.
"We're paving the way for our beloved master!" the evil Applejack added.
"We're the real deal!" the evil Fluttershy smiled.
"The best of the best!" the evil Rarity carried on.
"The creme de la creme!" the evil Pinkie Pie smirked.
"Who cares," the evil Cuphead interrupted, "we're here to destroy you!"
The evil Mugman nodding in agreement with him.
"Looks like we've got fight on our hooves, girls," Twilight remarked.
"Bring it on!" Rainbow Dash cried.
A brawl is surely brewing!
With that, the heroes engaged their evil mirror versions.
"Evil mirror clones of us," Pinkie said, as she stared her evil self down, "that's so old hat."
"Agreed," Rarity nodded, as she face off against her evil clone, "this whole idea is so cliché."
"Then we'd better deal with these fakes," Rainbow Dash cried, as she battled her evil copy, "and fast!"
The Devil laughed, as he watched the heroes fight against their evil mirror selves, "What fun!" he smiled, summoning up some popcorn and some Devil's Island daiquiri cocktails, "what a show! What a display! What a performance!"
"Let's show our twins what a little friendship can do," Twilight smiled.
The rest of the Mane Six nodded, the Elements of Harmony glowed furiously.
"Now!" Twilight cried.
Before the evil copies could react, the Elements of Harmony released a huge surge of magical energy.
"NOOO!" the evil mirror Mane Six, Cuphead and Mugman shouted as their bodies turned to stone, then crumbled into dust.
"Ashes to ashes," Cuphead said.
"Dust to dust," Mugman finished.
"You've got no one else to hide behind," Rainbow Dash declared, as she and the others turned to face The Devil.
"You seem so sure of yourselves," The Devil smirked, "in the face of impossible odds, you really think that you can beat me?"
The Devil snapped his fingers, and he began to grow and grow until he was twice his normal size, and a single black wing sprouted from his back.
"I will kill you," The Devil demonically declared, "by the fires of the pit!"
"Girls," Twilight said, "I think we're going to need something bigger."
"I think we've got something that can help," Cuphead replied.
Cuphead spoke into his wrist communicator, "Doc, we need the planes, fast." he said.
"They're on their way," the voice of Dr. Kahl answered.
"You cannot stop me!" The Devil thundered, "I'm am the lord of the dammed! And you are now just peddles under feet."
This match will get red hot!
Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy took flight before The Devil could attack.
"What about us?" Applejack asked.
"We'll handle that," Cuphead smiled.
Shortly after Cuphead had finished what he'd said, a small portal opened up and two planes appeared through it.
"The planes look different," Mugman said.
"I made some upgrades," the voice of Dr. Kahl replied, "I've added a rear gunner position for your friends and planes can now fire the same laser beams as my robot."
"Thanks, Doc," Cuphead acknowledged.
"Hang on, " Rarity said, "there are only two planes, but there are five of us."
As if in answer, a third plane materialised alongside the other two, this one was a single seat
"Alright, everypony," Pinkie smiled, putting a flight hat and goggles, "it's time to mount up."
With that, Cuphead, Mugman and Pinkie Pie strapped themselves into their planes.
Applejack and Rarity strapped themselves into the gunner position of Cuphead and Mugman's planes.
Once they were all ready, the three planes took off to help Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, who were trying their best to keep The Devil at bay.
"Here we go" Cuphead grinned, "we're heading into the danger zone!"
All three planes began firing at The Devil.
In response, The Devil let out an almighty roar and began dishing out blasts of hellfire.
The planes along with Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy dodged the blasts and counterattacked all together.
The Devil seemed to be unaffected by their attack, like it was nothing more than a bug bite.
The planes and the other flyers, began flying around The Devil's head, attack all the while.
The Devil tried to swat them away, as if they were nothing more than insects buzzing around his head.
"Our attacks aren't working?!" Twilight cried.
"If we can't slow him down, we can at least try to blind him," Rainbow Dash said.
Cuphead and Mugman nodded, they both charged at The Devil.
But, before The Devil could attack Cuphead and Mugman's planes transformed into bombs and rushed towards The Devil, striking him right in the eyes.
The Devil with a roar, staggered backwards clutching his eyes.
"Strike!" Cuphead cheered.
Before, The Devil could recover Twilight and the rest of the Mane Six unleashed an almighty blast from the Elements of Harmony.
"AAHHHH!" The Devil cried, as the blast hit him, forcing him to the ground.
Afterwards, there was silence.
"Did we win?" Mugman asked.
The answer immediately, "You think you've won?" The Devil asked, as he got back up, now with holes through his chest.
"I'm the Lord of Evil," The Devil declared, "I rest within the heart of every soul, in the end all roads lead back to me."
"We'll see about that," Cuphead smiled, he turned to his wrist communicator, "Doc, send him in."
Not long after, a portal opened and out dropped Cagney Carnation.
"Time to for payback," Cagney grinned.
Before, The Devil could react he was ensnared in vines.
With The Devil restrained, the Mane Six along with Cuphead and Mugman gathered together for the final blow.
"You know something, Devil," Cuphead said, "I think I speak for all of us when I say, I. Have Had. Enough of. You."
And with that, Cuphead fired a single finger bullet, finishing off The Devil once and for all.
Knockout!
Soon after, a ball of magical energy separated from The Devil's body, which headed off to its rightful owners and everything in Las Pegasus that had been corrupted by The Devil returned to normal
Shortly after, Starlight Glimmer, Trixie, Thorax and Discord appeared.
"Starlight!" Twilight cried, running up to her student and hugging her.
Fluttershy did the same with Discord, now that he had his powers back Discord had regained his saintly.
"What took you so long?" Trixie asked.
Then she and Thorax noticed Cuphead and Mugman.
"We can explain," Twilight said.
Don't Dance with the Devil
"Thank you," Twilight said, "for saving our world."
She and rest of the Mane Six, along with Starlight, Trixie, Thorax and Discord were standing outside a portal back to Cuphead and Mugman's world.
"No thanks necessary," Cuphead smiled, "its the least me and Mug could do."
"Yeah," Mugman nodded, "we couldn't just let The Devil turn your world into living hell."
"All the same," Twilight continued, "I think that if you two hadn't come when you did, me and my friends would still be under The Devil's control."
"No problem," Cuphead replied, "anyway me and Mug, better get going before the portal closes."
He nodded to Mugman, who was carrying the unconscious Devil and King Dice.
With a smile, Mugman throw the two unconscious villains through the portal.
Inkwell isle.
"Arrrr," The Devil groaned, as he and King Dice recovered from their battles with the Mane Six, Cuphead and Mugman, "Anybody get the licence plate of that truck?"
"Um, boss," King Dice said, "I think we're in trouble."
The Devil looked up, and a terrifying sight in front of them.
All the residents of Inkwell isle had all gathered round the two villains.
Everyone from Goopy Le Grande to Ribby and Croaks to Captain Brineybeard and even Cala Maria.
"Cageny had his shot at you two," Goopy smiled, "now its our turn."
"Prepare to feel the flaming fists of justice and righteousness," Ribby declared, Croaks nodded and began cracking his knuckles.
And with, all the residents of Inkwell isle gave The Devil and King Dice the beating of lifetime.
Equestria.
"Well," Cuphead said, "I guess its time for me and Mug to go."
"That's a shame," Mugman remarked, "I hate saying goodbye, it was nice meeting you all."
"It was nice meeting you too, Mug," Fluttershy smiled, "we'll never forget what you and your brother did to today."
"Indeed," Rarity said, sharing Fluttershy's smile, "you not only saved us and our friends, but saved the whole of Equestria."
"That something to be proud of," Rainbow Dash added, "something that makes you 20% cooler."
"I guess it does," Cuphead murmured.
"I think we're dragged this out a bit too long," Mugman said, "I think we should just cut to the chase and say goodbye already."
"Your right, Mug," Cuphead nodded, he and Mugman walked up to the portal back to their world.
Before he stepped through the portal, Cuphead turned to face the Mane Six and their friends.
"Goodbye, my little ponies," he said, and with that Cuphead and Mugman stepped through the portal, which closed behind them.
"I'm really going to miss those two," Fluttershy sniffed.
"We all will, sugarcube," Applejack replied.
"I never did get that guy's name," Pinkie said.
"CUPHEAD!" everypony exclaimed.
"Oh, yeah," Pinkie laughed.
Inkwell isle.
"Welcome back, boys," Elder Kettle said, as Cuphead and Mugman reappeared through the portal, "you were cutting it really close ya know."
"No need to worry," Cuphead replied, "all we did was stop The Devil and meet some new friends."
"New friends?" Elder Kettle remarked, "my, you boys are becoming proper gentlemen."
"I guess so," Mugman said, "it guess when you think about it friendship is magic."
"That it is," Elder Kettle remarked, "that it is."

Chapter 4 - Gluttony Gamble
The Devil's dungeon.
"Come on," Trixie said, trying to get her horn to work.
Nothing happened, "anything?" she asked the others.
Starlight, Thorax and Discord all shook their heads, none of their magic worked ether.
Starlight tried her absolute hardest, nothing, not even a spark escaped her horn.
"Maybe Thorax?" Starlight said.
Thorax also tried to use his shapeshifting ability, nothing.
"Discord," Thorax asked, "anything you can add?"
"Nothing," Trixie interrupted, "he can add nothing."
"Well, there's no need to be rude," Discord replied.
The four of them let out a collective sigh.
Las Pegasus.
Cuphead and Mugman were continuing with their search and getting nowhere.
"We've been searching for hours, Cup" Mugman said, "we should take a break."
"Are you nuts?!" Cuphead replied, "every second we waste The Devil is becoming stronger."
Cuphead darted from place to place, looking for any sign of The Devil.
Mugman rolled his eyes, "You keep looking," he said, "I'll get something to eat at this cafe until you come to your senses."
The Devil's office.
"I should be first!" Lustery insisted.
"No me," Applepride argued.
All this was happening, while Slothbow Dash snored in the back.
"Enough!" The Devil thundered, "I'm sending Gluttony Pie first, end of story."
"WHAT?!" the sins all responded, in unison.
"End of story," The Devil said, firmly.
"But..." Applepride began.
"End. Of. Story ," The Devil repeated.
The sins grumbled among themselves, before nodding in agreement, reluctantly.
"Good," The Devil smiled.
He snapped his fingers and Gluttony Pie vanished.
Las Pegasus, Cafe.
"Service," Mugman called, as he waited to be served, "anybody home?"
After waiting a few minutes, Mugman walked up to the cafe counter.
"excuse me," he inquired, "I was wondering if I could get something to eat."
From behind the counter, came the sound of munching.
"um... excuse me," Mugman said.
Suddenly, Gluttony Pie appeared from behind the back room.
"Sorry, sir," she mumbled, food spilling from her mouth, "we're out of stock."
"Ok," Mugman replied, "I'll look for something to eat elsewhere."
"Hey," Gluttony Pie said, as Mugman turned to go, "your name won't happen to be Mugman, by any chance?"
"Yeah," Mugman replied, "that's my name."
"Well," Gluttony Pie continued, "The Devil has given me orders to take you and your brother out."
Gluttony Pie moved out from behind the counter, "so the sooner I do that, the sooner I can get back to eating."
"Cuphead!" Mugman cried.
But Cuphead didn't hear him, he was still looking around for The Devil.
"Alright," Mugman declared, taking a drink of liquid from his head, "I'll have to take her on myself."
A brawl is surely brewing!
Gluttony Pie hurled cupcakes, pies and all manager pastries and other sweet snacks at Mugman.
Mugman dodged the projectiles and counterattacked by firing his Finger Bullets.
From out of nowhere, Gluttony Pie pulled out a cannon.
Before Mugman could react, Gluttony Pie fired a pink coloured gumball in Mugman's direction.
Mugman thinking fast, leaped towards the gumball and parry slapped it.
Gluttony Pie looked confused at what had happened, never the less, she fired another gumball shot at Mugman.
He simply parry slapped the shot, again.
Gluttony Pie began firing gumball at rapid fire speed.
Mugman dodged her attack, perrying the gumballs that were pink.
After he had parryed enough, before Gluttony Pie could attack again, Mugman fired his final attack, Milk Beam, at Gluttony Pie.
Knockout!
Gluttony Pie had been defeated.
"What was all that about?" Mugman wondered.
Before Mugman could ponder anymore, Gluttony Pie stirred, "Arrr," she moaned, "I'm party pooped."
"Are you OK?" Mugman asked.
"Yeah," the pony replied, "I think so."
Her eyes suddenly went wide, "my friends! Have you seen my friends?!" she asked, frantically.
"Whoa, whoa," Mugman said, trying to calm the pony down, "calm down, let's start from the top, who are you?"
"Oh, my names Pinkie Pie," the pony replied.
"Nice to meet you Pinkie Pie," Mugman smiled, "names Mugman."
"Now," he continued, "who are these friends of yours?"
"That would be Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Applejack," Pinkie Pie responded.
Mugman was about to reply, but before he could say anything, Cuphead burst in.
"Mugman, are you alright?" he asked.
"I'm fine," Mugman replied.
"Who's your friend?" Cuphead inquired, noticing Pinkie Pie.
"Hi, there," greeted Pinkie Pie.
"She's looking for her friends," Mugman continued, "I thought we could help her."
"But we have to continue the search for The Devil," Cuphead replied.
"The Devil!" Pinkie said, suddenly remembering what had happened to her and rest of the Mane Six, "he's the one who took me and my friends."
"In that case," Cuphead smiled, "me and my brother will be glad to help you."
Mugman smiled at that.
"Now," he continued, "do you have any idea where your friends might be?"
"Nope," Pinkie replied.
"Well," Cuphead said, "I guess we'll just have to look around until we find them."
"Sounds like a plan," Pinkie Pie smiled.
"Alright," Cuphead nodded.
With that, the two brothers, along with Pinkie Pie headed off to search for The Devil and the other members of the Mane Six.
The Element of Laughter has joined the party
