Fluttershy giggled and pranced around on the layer of cloud beneath her hooves. The sun hovered in the sky, casting orange light through the windows and setting aflame the field of clouds which the room was composed of. Fluttershy stopped to gaze at the seas of reds and oranges and yellows. After a few moments, she continued hopping on the clouds, bouncing up and down. The clouds were so soft and springy and she knew that even if she fell the clouds wouldn't hurt. She flapped her wings and hopped into the air.

For a few seconds, she held herself aloft between the ceiling and the floor. She grunted as her wings strained and she fell right onto her belly with a hard flop. The clouds popped around her and her tummy grazed the hard cloudstone underneath. A yelp escaped her lips and her eyes were blinded by tears. She sniffled, trying to contain them, trying to be a big filly and not burst into tears like she so very much wanted to.
But that cloudstone hurt! She sniffled and whimpered until Mommy rushed into the room. "Fluttershy! What happened? Oh, you poor darling!"

Rarity rushed to Fluttershy and swept her into her forelegs. Fluttershy pressed her muzzle into Mommy's neck and cried. Finally, her sniffles settled down. Mommy set Fluttershy down and kissed her forehead. "There, there, Darling. It's alright."
Fluttershy hugged the older mare and received a hug in turn. "Why don't we get you into the bath? It's almost bedtime."
Fluttershy smiled. Unlike a lot of fillies, she loved bath time. Mommy guided her into the bathroom, a foreleg over her withers. Outside, the sun sank lower and lower. Fluttershy yawned as Mommy opened the door to the bathroom. A large, white, ceramic tub held up on bronze lion's claws dominated the small room. Mommy turned a knob and warm water flowed into the faucet. Steam lifted up from the waters and filled the room. Mommy ushered her into the water which rolled around her, soothing her muscles.

The long, pink strands of her mane floated in the current. Mommy wrapped a bar of soap around a towel, dipping it into the water. First, Mommy drew the cloth along Fluttershy's tummy, long, slow caresses. The washcloth traveled over her forelegs and her shoulders, her back and up her neck, leaving a trail of suds. Mommy scrubbed the cloth against her fur before picking up another washcloth and cleaning the soap away.
Fluttershy giggled at the touch of the washcloth against her hooves and drew back. Mommy tickled her belly. "Come now, Darling. I must wash those little hooves of yours."

"Okay, Mommy."

Mommy worked the washcloth into Fluttershy's hooves and drew it down her backlegs and lower regions. Fluttershy completely relaxed into the now soapy water. Mommy picked up a bottle of shampoo, worked the red substance into her own hooves and then worked it into Fluttershy's mane. Fluttershy sighed in utter contentment as Mommy ran her hooves through Fluttershy's locks.

Once the bath was over, Mommy helped her out of the tub and wrapped a blue towel around her. She sat down on the toilet and held the filly in her lap. Fluttershy giggled as Mommy scrubbed her with the towel.

Once that was done, Mommy led Fluttershy to her room and set her down on the soft, pink sheets. Mommy opened the brown chest-of-drawers leaning against the wall of the room and pulled out a pair of light blue onesies. She also pulled out a pack of pull-ups. She laid both on the bed.

Fluttershy pouted and dived under the covers. Mommy rolled her eyes and gave an exasperated sigh. "Really, Darling, must you?"

Fluttershy drummed her hooves, making waves on the bed. Mommy pulled back the sheets. Fluttershy crossed her forelegs and jutted her lips out in a pout. "No diapers."

Mommy frowned. "They're pull-ups. Are you quite sure, Darling? I know you haven't wet the bed in a while, but..."

She drummed her forelegs and her backlegs. "No diapers!"

Mommy grabbed her back legs, lifted them up and smacked her rump. "And no tantrums either."

Fluttershy's eyes filled with tears. Mommy laid down beside her and snuggled her close. "I'm sorry I had to do that."

Fluttershy nodded. Rarity wiped away her tears. "Are you going to be a good filly for Mommy?"

Fluttershy cuddled up against her chest. "Yes, Mommy."

Mommy gently stroked her mane. "Alright. So no pull-ups? And you promise not to wet the bed?"

Fluttershy nodded. "Yes, Mommy. Promise!"

"And I want have to give more spankies to that little bum of yours?"

"Nope!"

"Good. Mommy hates giving spankies."

She lifted back up Fluttershy's legs and slid the onesie over her. The fabric covered Fluttershy's hooves, wrapping them up nice and tight. Once Mommy was satisfied with how snug the fabric fit over her, she stood up. "Alright. And I suppose you'll want a bedtime story?"

Fluttershy smiled. "Yes, Ma'am."

Mommy picked up a book from the bookshelf beside the bed and laid back down. Fluttershy snuggled into her shoulder and buried her muzzle into her mane, taking in the scent of high quality shampoos and the natural scent that Mommy's mane always carried.

Mommy wrapped a foreleg around her and drew her close. The thick tome laying on Mommy's tummy was a book of Fluttershy's favorite fairy tales. Mommy flipped through them. "Which one do you want, Darling?"

Fluttershy yawned and squirmed, coming to a more comfortable position against her Mommy's side. "The one with the Three Bears."

Mommy laid her head against the pillow. Fluttershy snuggled even closer, as if trying to get as close to her as she possibly could. Mommy began to read. Fluttershy had heard the story thousands of times (well, maybe not quite that many) and the rise and fall of Mommy's sweet tones lulled Fluttershy into an even more relaxed state.

Mommy turned the page. Fluttershy was vaguely aware of the pages being turned, the rustle of paper and the continuing drone of her mommy's voice. Mommy chose a different voice for each bear. During the more "scary" scenes (scary for her in any case) she would bury her face against Mommy's side.

Mommy ran her hoof through her mane. Soon, Fluttershy was snoring. Mommy put the book down, placing it back on the shelf. Then she tiptoed over and kissed Fluttershy's forehead. Fluttershy turned. Mommy wrapped the pink blankets around her, hoofed a teddy bear into her forelegs and Fluttershy sank into the clouds making up the mattress.

...
Fluttershy yawned, stretching her arms and legs which were tangled up in her pink sheets. It was chilly in her room and the floorboards were cold to her little feet. She turned onto her side, moving away from a spot of cold. She dared not open her eyes to find out just what that cold wetness was.Her feet were snuggled up in blue fabric that cuddled her hooves. They were warm so they should have been able to guard her hooves against the cold floorboards, but when she had put her hooves on the floor last night, it had still been cold.

A little bluebird nested in the leafy branches of the birch tree outside her window, sang a symphony to the sun. She had always been able to understand what the birds were saying. This bird was saying to wake up. The insistent sunlight poked at her eyes, also urging her to wake up and face the day. She didn't want to! She wrapped the sheets around herself tighter and tighter, cocooning herself in the warmth. The November wind howled and shrieked against the glass. Fluttershy whimpered and clutched her teddy bear, nuzzling it to her chest.

When she pressed her knees against her tummy, she could feel the wet spot on the seat of her pajamas. The acrid smell stung her nostrils. She reached down and felt the wet spot, hoping it wasn't there. That if she pretended long enough, it would simply go away. It didn't.

Oh, why hadn't she been a good girl last night and gone to the potty? Sure, it had been cold and it got scary at night, but she knew to go to the potty. She wasn't a baby!

Was she?

She gulped as she slowly opened her eyes and tossed the covers off of her. The wet spot formed a circle on the sheets. There was no way to hide this from Mommy. Her eyes went to the paddle hanging over her little white bookshelf which were filled with children's stories. The paddle was about three-quarters of an inch thick, but thin or not it left a sting.

No doubt, she would be feeling it across her behind. The paddle had writing on it that said, "I made a bad choice." Mommy had read it to her, explaining that she made bad choices sometimes, but she wasn't a bad girl. No, she was a good girl. A good girl that had made a very bad choice and would soon pay for it with her backside. Mommy would be especially upset since these were the pajamas she had sewn for her.

She ducked back under the covers, laid her head on the pillow and closed her eyes again. The wet spot made it uncomfortable to go back to sleep, but she tried. There was an alarm clock next to her bed that sat on a brown dresser. A butterfly and diamond imprinted tablecloth sat under it. The time, flashing in red numbers, read seven-thirty. It was the weekend. She had some time before Mommy came in to check on her. Breakfast would be soon.

That thought led her to thinking of Mommy's pancakes, covered in syrup. She'd like to skip her punishment and go straight to pancakes, but she knew she couldn't. Or the punishment could happen after breakfast. No, Mommy would never do that. Mommy liked getting unpleasant things out of the way.

Mommy might also make friend eggs. After some reflection, Fluttershy realized she really wanted breakfast. She wasn't hungry exactly, but she hadn't had a very big supper last night.

The three glasses of water she drank might have been responsible for the current bit of trouble she found herself in. Fluttershy peeked back out from beneath her covers, staring down at the carpet that led from her bed to the door. It was covered in swirling designs, flowers and fruits and beautiful patterns that matched her mommy's design sense. Mommy had bought it for her when she'd complained about how cold the floor was at night.

There was no carpet for the hallway though. If she pointed that out, might she get some lenience? No, no she absolutely would not. Fluttershy set one little foot on the floor, her toes sinking into the fabric. The heel came next and, after setting her whole right foot on the ground, she set her left foot on the carpet.

Now, both feet were on the floor. She shivered at the cold feeling in the seat of her pajamas. There was a calendar at eye level on the wall. There was a green check for dry nights and a red x for wet nights. For the past two weeks there had only been green checks. Mommy had been so happy with her that she had given her a reward, an extra cookie at supper.

She had been so proud of herself! Her little shoulders slumped as she picked up a marker and drew a red x on the calendar. Then, since she knew it was coming, she walked over to the corner and pressed her muzzle against the wall. The worst part was that she had disappointed Mommy. She hated it when she disappointed Mommy.

After several minutes in the corner she heard hoofsteps coming down the hall. Mommy was humming a morning song. She had the most beautiful voice in the world, Fluttershy thought.

The door creaked open and Mommy stepped inside, a smile on her face that quickly turned into a frown. "Good morning, Fluttershy. Another wet night, huh?"

From her place in the corner, Fluttershy nodded. She felt as Mommy's hooves ran through her mane. It felt good as Mommy rubbed her shoulder. "I asked you if you wanted to wear a pull-up last night. Why didn't you?"

Fluttershy stamped her hoof. "Cause I'm not a baby!"

Mommy tapped Fluttershy's shoulder rhythmically, gently patting her shoulder blades. "Do big girls pee in their beds?"

Fluttershy looked down at the floor. "No."

"Did you pee in the bed?"

Fluttershy mumbled something.

Mommy tapped her bum, too weak to be a spank, too firm to be a pat. "Fluttershy? Mommy asked you a question."

"Yes."

"Babies can wear diapers and get away with peeing their beds. Big girls can't. Is that clear?"

A blush burned Fluttershy's cheeks. "I'm sorry, Mommy."

"You should be. Are you a baby or a big girl?"

"I'm a big girl!"

"Do you need a spanky on your bum to help you remember to be a big girl and not pee the bed?"

Fluttershy shivered. "Yes, Mommy."

Mommy shook her head. " You'll get one, but first let's get those icky jammies off. Not even girls who make bad choices deserve to wear pee-stained jammies."

Fluttershy turned around. Mommy placed her hooves on Fluttershy's hips, slid the onesie off of her and left the room. She returned a few moments later, holding up a frilly pink dress covered in ribbons and laces.

It was beautiful. Fluttershy's eyes widened as she took it in.

Mommy laid it on the bed. "Come here. Mommy made this just for you."

Fluttershy grinned. "Thank you, Mommy!" She pranced over.

Mommy ruffled her mane and then put the dress on her along with a pair of pink panties. The fabric was soft, smooth against her body, enfolding her in luxurious sensations. "Alright, now it's time for your correction for this little morning faux pas."

Mommy walked over to the bookshelf and picked up the paddle before taking Fluttershy by her foreleg. She pushed the little girl down, bending her over the mattress. "Mommy's going to give you ten swats on your bum to help you remember to go potty. Mommy is doing this because she loves you, not because she's angry with you. Mommy loves you very much, Darling."

Fluttershy smiled. "I love you too, Mommy."

She pulled up Fluttershy's dress and yanked down her underwear, revealing the round, firm semiglobes of her rump and laid a hoof on Fluttershy's back. Fluttershy was not resisting the chastisement from her mommy, keeping her rump stuck out. Mommy only had her hoof on her back to show she loved her and to comfort her during the coming reprimand.

Mommy raised the paddle and brought it down hard on Fluttershy's rump. Fluttershy jumped. The second spank fell, leaving a sting in its wake. Fluttershy closed her eyes as the third and fourth swats fell, pink marks appearing on her behind as the paddle struck her right cheek and then her left.

Mommy increased the tempo as she brought down the fifth and sixth swat, her rump jiggling as the spanks rained down. This would be a lesson she would remember, a fire building up in her bottom as the paddle turned her tushy a bright shade of dark pink.

The seventh spank fell upon her sit spot, a hard crack of wood resounding across her punished posterior. Fluttershy cried out as the paddle whacked her rump again.

"Three more, Darling."

The eighth, ninth and tenth spank landed firmly across her sit spot. She let out a long cry, finally allowing the tears to come free. Mommy put aside the paddle and sat down on the bed. Fluttershy jumped up, dancing around the room as she covered her bottom.

Mommy opened her forelegs and Fluttershy fell into them, seating herself on her lap. Mommy held her close in a loving embrace, pressing her face against her chest. Fluttershy nuzzled against her heartbeat, wrapping her arms around her waste. Mommy softly rubbed soothing circles on her bottom, moving up and stroking her back.

Fluttershy sighed in contentment at the feeling of Rarity's hoof lightly tracing her spine, trailing up and down her back, the rhythm enough to lull her into a light trance.

Rarity kissed her forehead. "Butterflies."

Fluttershy blinked a few times. "Wow. Oh my. Wow."

"Must have been good. Lost yourself for a moment?"

Fluttershy nodded, burying her face in Rarity's breast. "Thank you, Rarity. I've been needing a spanking for a long time."

Rarity trailed kisses down her marefriend's neck. "We all have kinks, Darling. Snuggling cute little butterflies is mine for example."

Fluttershy giggled. "Thank you so much for playing into my fantasy. You were so loving, but firm. I need that."

Rarity caressed her hair. "The paddle wasn't too much? I know we tested it when I first bought it, but I'm still unsure with using it."

"Oh no, the paddle was perfect. I'd like a hand spanking next time though. Maybe I'll forget to do my homework." She winked.

"Oh,my. Mommy has such a naughty little girl."

Fluttershy pouted. "Sowwy, Mommy."

Rarity pressed her lips to Fluttershy's forehead. "I still love you."

Fluttershy's smile lit up the room as she rested in Rarity's embrace. "I'm so happy right now."

"We can stay like this for as long as you need."

They rested onto the bed and cuddled the morning away.
