Night Fang And Loki

With the sun high in the sky, Aria Blaze slowly awoke from her sleep. After realising she was by herself in the bedroom due to Sonata moving into Blackheart's room weeks ago, it was best to get up now in her bed vest and shorts and head to the bathroom to brush her teeth while her music was blaring in the background as she prepared herself to start her day.

Sometime later

The drive to school was quiet at best because Aria had borrowed Loki's MP3 player from his room without Adagio knowing either and she wasn't paying any attention to anything around her, as songs just blared into her ears, sometimes, when she listened really carefully, the songs had meanings to them and they were the reason why Loki chose them to go on his MP3 in the first place.

In the School

During the day, Aria noted Sirenstone's girl, Midnight Wave, was trying everything to goad Aria into a fight ever chance she got. It got increasingly worse for Aria during her classes with the siren, but unbeknownst to her, someone else noted this as well, so when they left the classroom and Aria was trying her best not to strangle the other teen, the male stepped forward.

"Haven't you got a street corner to go back to Midnight Wave, I'm sure miss Blaze here would enjoy it more if you went elsewhere lassie."

This made Midnight Wave glare at the newcomer who had been walking up to them from his class in home economics from just down the hall, before she could speak however, he continued.

"Plus, It's not nice to pick on people, who by far, have a better personality than you, so why don't you and your ballroom belles scram."

Midnight Wave couldn't believe her ears, she was the girl of Sirenstone, who was this guy to talk back to her and talk bad about her in the first place, then it hit her, this was her vessel's ex boyfriend before she dated Loki Moonstone, who at the time was the siren king's vessel.

"Thought you'd never show your face again, Emerald Glimmer, not since my vessel dumped you in the trash."

Aria looked at her saviour and remembered his face from her maths classes earlier, but whatever it was he did next, he sent Midnight Wave away crying her eyes out before he turned to Aria who just stood there stunned at the giant of a teen.

"You ok there Miss Blaze?"

Aria remained speechless with a gawking expression which made Emerald Glimmer chuckle nervously at the sight before placing a hand on her shoulder making Aria blush.

"I'll see you around Miss Blaze."

Aria nodded absent mindedly before a piece of paper was placed in her hand but Aria remained frozen to the spot before checking the piece of paper to find Emerald had given her his cell phone number making her blush bright red before shouting after him.

“By the way my name is Aria Blaze”

Emerald Glimmer gave her the thumbs up while he was walking to acknowledge the new discovery. When he turned the corner however, he looked at his device and smirked in thankful knowing.

“Thank you for leading me to Midnight Wave, Aria Blaze, I really appreciate it.”

In class with Aria and her sisters

Aria took no notice of her chemistry class that day. So while Sonata was pouring the chemicals carefully under Adagio's instructions, Aria just looked out of the window towards the school field, This however caught Adagio's attention. Later on in class, she watched her two sister's swoon over the boys out on the field playing rugby, with the occasional wince at a big hit being made, but the show was soon cut short, As Adagio dragged her sister's back to their seats by the ear with a tired look on her face as Aria whispered harshly.

"What the hell Adagio?!"

Adagio glared at Aria's comment before speaking.

"I expected that sort of behaviour from Sonata with Blackheart being out there, but seeing it from you, I am certainly surprised by it."

Aria just shrugged it off, until Sonata, being sneaky, reached into her sister's pocket and produced the piece of paper with Emerald Glimmer's cell number on, but the quicker it appeared, it soon disappeared when Aria quickly snatched it back of her little in front of a sceptical Adagio.

"Aria..."

Aria looked at Adagio with a sigh but chose to just keep quiet and focus on her papers and leave her sisters in the dark about her strange behaviour.

In the cafeteria

Lunch was especially slow for the female today, as she sat with her chicken, wasabi and rice next to Rainbow Dash. She was in her own world when Emerald Glimmer decided to walk by where Aria was sitting and blew a breath into her ear making her shiver in ecstasy, causing the male to laugh at the predicament causing Aria to blush, which Rarity spotted oh not too subtly with a knowing smile.

"Someone's a smitten kitten"

Aria glared at the fashionista but the look soon softened, because even she had to admit, she was smitten with Emerald Glimmer, despite the two not dating, but there was just one wall every boy needed to climb to win either Aria Blaze or Sonata Dusks' hearts, that Great Wall just so happens to be walking over to Emerald Glimmer's table and giving the guy a mouthful, which made Aria furious, but she decided to restrain her anger out of respect for her big sister and before she ended doing something she'd regret involving her sister and the hospital's morgue. But every wall crumbles and in comes said demolition crew to crumble Aria's self control barrier as a certain murderer walked over to her.

"Good afternoon, Aria Blaze"

Aria sighed with frustration at the siren king who placed himself behind her and turned her to face him with an angered growl emitting from her lips.

"It has come to my attention you hurt my brides feelings, is this true"

Sirenstone asked but before Aria tried to hold her ground, her defences fell, as she nodded, not realising she was falling under the siren king's spell, while his hands travelled her body, only to be stopped by Emerald Glimmer who had seen enough from where he was sat.

"The lady said stop fella, which means leave her be."

When Sirenstone tried to put Emerald Glimmer under his spell, Emerald blocked his eyes off before ramming his thumb deep into the siren king's eye socket, breaking the spell through sight held on Aria, who, when free from the spell, turned round and clocked the siren king straight in the jaw and sending him sprawling away like a scolded dog towards the exits as Emerald Glimmer shouted after him.

"YOU BETTER RUN YOU CREEP"

Emerald glanced at the table of girls who looked at him in admiration except Sunset Shimmer, who noted he had two miscoloured eyes with one being gold and the other being green like the jewel he was named after. She also noticed how he had his brown hair short but messy at the same time and his voice was a thick Emerald Isles accent (Sunset Shimmer had travelled there a few times when she was a filly back in Equestria).

"I'll see you ladies around, Aria you've got my number, give me a call if anything comes up with the creep..." Turns to Night Fang "...You have my backing fella."

Night Fang nods with a smile on his while, but the most shocking moment happened, as the normally composed Aria gets out of her seat and hugs Emerald Glimmer, catching him and everyone else by surprise at the sudden act.

"Thank you Emerald Glimmer...you know...for saving me from Sirenstone"

Emerald Glimmer smiles down at Aria while he was still in the hug. With him being 6'6, Aria only just reached up to his neck, height wise. As they broke the hug, Emerald Glimmer waved goodbye to everyone at the table, leaving an aching hearted Aria to sit by herself with her words in her mouth as she said quietly to herself.

"I want to see you again".

For 8 days, Aria Blaze and Emerald Glimmer crossed paths in Canterlot High. Sometimes in their English lessons, where Aria nearly melted from the heat radiating off her when she saw Emerald Glimmer wearing his glasses in class, it was especially hard to concentrate in her history class when the boys gym class was going on right outside, This had landed her in hot water with her teacher. When they were together however, the two were inseparable, but that was also bad for the Moonstones too. as Aria hardly even concentrated during practice, this caused Night Fang to sigh in frustration during one of the practices, and call Aria Blaze out on it.

"Come on guys we need to hit those high notes, especially you Aria"

Aria snapped out of her lovesick state to find Night Fang with his hands on his hips glaring right at her while she was on her phone, texting away, she laughed nervously.

"Sorry, just a little distracted."

One day though on the 14th day, Aria noticed Emerald Glimmer wasn't around the school at all that day, even when she tried to call him on her cell, it went straight to voice mail, this caused her to panic slightly at what was happening, but unbeknownst to her, Emerald Glimmer was in Equestria, speaking with a certain supposed to be dead guy and princess of friendship.
