WELCOME TO RAPTURE
1965 over the atlantic ocean in a plane
“my friends and family shuned me. left me in this cold dark world, should i even call them that? my family..... no they don’t deserve it” spike had a package in his hand it read from spike to rarity. suddenly the plane shook and fell. screams from foals, mares and stallions were heard. and with a boom they all ended at once.
spike awoke and watched as debree fell from the plane and corpses of ponies were floating to the surface he stared in horror as foals, mares and stallions burned or drowned he soon realized he also was running out of air so he swam to the surface.spike gasped in oxygen as he breatched the water. and seen the once flying vessle torn in half and sinking “oh celestia” spike said slowly.
the whole area was on fire! “what am i going to do?” spike wonderd. then he realized a tower just a few feet away he thought it might be a nice place to sleep for the night. spike swam to the stairs that led to the front and he seen a open door reveiling a dark room.
“is this really happening or is this a nightmare?” spike thought. he peeked in and seen nothing but darkness so he took a step in and suddenly the door behind him shut. a shiver went down spikes back and he ran into the dark he didn’t now where he was going but he just didn’t want to be there.
he ran and ran and he never stoped until he tripped and fell down a flight stairs. suddenly the lights turned on. above him was a statue of a some pony. he then noticed a submarine to his right with a lever inside.
he pulled it, the door closed and he started his decent into the deep blue sea. a couple minutes later a screen came down and a projector started playing a video “hello my name is Andrew Ryan and i’m here to ask you a question: is a stallion not entitled to the sweat of his brow? NO! says the pony in hoofington it belongs to the poor. NO! says the pony navaticolt it belongs to celestia. NO! says the pony in marescow it belongs to everypony. i rejected those answers and instead i chose somthing different... i chose the impossible.... i chose...Rapture” the screen went down and in front of spike was a city
“a city where the artist would not be censored, where the scientist would not be bound by morality, where the great would not be strained by the small. and with the sweat of your brow rapture can become your city as well” the recording stopped and spike stared in amazement as he was entered a building.
to his left he heard a radio with two ponies talking to each other “get to medical and be quick about it the splicers are coming” said a canterlot voice “oh you gotta be kidding me! and how do you know their coming?” asked a trottingham voice “because a bathysphere is on it’s way there”
the radio gone silent and the sub stopped inside and acended. at the top spike seen a stallion begging and crying to some mare with hooks on her whooves “w.wait don’t hurt me y..you can take my gun just don’t h..hurt me” the stallion back away from his weapon but the mare just grined as shecut through his stomach and then his throat spike stared in fear as the mare stopes and lookes at you as she says “hmm is this someone new?” she screams and jumps on his sub and starts cutting it open.
a couple minutes later she gave up and ran away to celestia knows where.
“now i know you are startled but would you kindley pick up the raideo?” spike took the radio in his hand “names blue moon i know you are a little shocked from that scene but i need you to come out i won’t leave you twisting in the wind.” the radio once again went silent
the subs door opened and spike took one step out and looked around he seen some signs on the ground wich read. "LET US SURFACE" then he shuddered as some pony called sweetly to him “i’ll wrap you in a sheet”
spike hesitated a bit but eventually decided to continue. as soon as he stepped into a door way the same mare came out to attack him. but instead of meeting his fate a little flying bot chased away the horrible mare.
“told ya i wouldn’t leave you hanging now would you kindley find a weapon or somthing?” the radio fell silent once more. spike looked in the rubble on the floor and found a rusty red wrench.
“okay you see that pile o rubble blocking that hole in front of you? would you kindley use that wrench to clear the way?” spike did as he was told and smashed the rocks and pipes blocking the way and crawled inside.
spike got through the hole in the wall and dusted himself off and turned on the radio. “hey blue moon what do i do now?” spike asked his friend.
but as soon as he finished talking a flaming couch came rolling down some stairs toward him! spike doged it just in time just burning the scales on his back. “come on in and fight like a stallion!” a crazed male voice yelled.
spike ran up the stairs to find another psycho with a wrench swinging it at him. spike dodged and ducked as he fought the psycho.
eventually the stallion died. then the radio turned back on “ah.. i see you killed your first splicer. now search him for food or anything that would keep ya alive”
after spike grabed a pep bar and some can beans he heard the radio again “you see those stairs there? would you kindley go up them and grab the red needle.”
spike obeyed and picked it up “okay now what do i do?” spike asked. “okay. now this may sound crazy. inject the liqued into your wrist.” blue moon replied.
“WHAT ARE YOU INSANE WHAT IF THIS IS SOME TYPE STEROIDS!” spike hollard.
“just trust me it will help you later.” "what is he trying to do, get me killed?" spike thought. about a couple minutes later he stabbed the needle into his wrist and pushet the back part down.
spike instantly dropped the needle and felt like he just been bucked in the face by AJ. "whats going on?" spike thought.
“hold on. your genetic code is just being re-writen” spike went to the balcony at the top of the stairs and past out and fell over the side.

spike awoke to find he was unable to move "oh god what was that stuff" he thought "oh no and to make this worse here come some splicers" the splicer knelt down to look at spikes face. "looks like this little fish just had his cherry popped! wonder if he got some Adam on him?"
spike heard some loud stomps and the by looks he seen on the splicers they knew what made it them. all too well. "you hear that? let's bug!" the other splicer whispered. "WEAK your a weak chopper!" the 1st splicer exclaimed. "well running is better than fighting a big daddy." as they ran off spike passed out again due to his headache.
a couple minutes later...
spike awoke again to hear the humming of a little filly and loud stomps of a humongous metal pony with a drill for a right fore leg. "look mr.bubbles an angel....wait a minute he's still breathing." the metallic pony raised his drill for a killing blow. but the filly stopped him "no.. it's okay i know he'l be an angel soon." the filly trotted away with the bigger pony following suit
spike once again awoke and seen no splicers or big daddy's. so he got up and found his left hand was pulsing with electricity "HOLY CRAP WHAT HAPPENED TO ME" spike exclaimed.
the buzzing of the radio warned spike of a message "spike you okay there lad? now if you look or fell different it's just the plasmid taking effect. now with that outta the way do you see a metal door?"
spike turned his head to the right and seen the door and walked up to it. but there was one problem it would not open. "hey Blue Moon i think this door's broken" a few seconds went by as spike waited for a reply "ah what else is new? everything here is breaking." spike looked around the door and found some sparking wires
he stared at the wires deep in thought then he looked at his hand "hey blue moon, what would happen if i hit those wires with my plasmid?" spike asked and almost immediatly blue responded "god thinking lad, try it out" *spike held his hand up and poited at the wires and a bolt of lightning shot from his hand and the wires sparked and the door opened "good job, now walk down that hall and you should get to the medical pavilion" *spike smirked and turned off the radio "this plasmid is going to be pretty useful, watch out splicers" a couple minutes later spike reached the end of the hall and he spotted three posters of mares with drawings a surgeon would make when planning out a surgery
"woah... creepy... why would anypony put these up for everypony to see?" spike reminded himself everypony down here was either dead or insane "oh yeah.. that's why" suddenly a large round metallic object hit his head and he seen a puse on the end of it* "uh oh..." he jumped away from it before the shrapnel could be launched into his scales "trying to get into madical eh? well guess again!" the splicer threw a grenade at the door leading to where he wanted to go and the explosion caused a sign to fall and block it
