"Ya know Gummy, I found the weirest thing when I was looking for evidence, to finding out the whole Rainbow Dash Pie Mystery" said Pinkie Pie, stirring the cake batter vigouosly.
Gummy poked his tougue out.
"Well, I found out that Rainbow Dash has special training sessions with Soarin!" said Pinkie.
Gummy stared at her blankly.
"You're right Gummy, I should give her a cake at her training with Soarin, to say sorry" Pinkie said.
That evening, Pinkie attached ballons to herself and floated up to Clousdale's Private Practice Room.
"Wierd. Why would Dashie have sessions in someplace so-" Pinkie gasped. Through the door window, Pinkie saw Rainbow Dash kissing Soarin.
"I'm so glad we could do this" said Rainbow after the kiss ended.
"Me too. Want to head over to my place?" asked Soarin.
"Sure" replied Rainbow Dash, as they flew out the back door.
Pinkie gasped for breath. "Well, maybe Rainbow fell on top of Soarin, and it just looked likd they were kissing" said Pinkie Pie hysterically.
Gummy blinked.
"I think you're right. I can't come to any conclusion, you know, that Rainbow Dash has a coltfriend and didn't tell us. Or anypony!" she shrieked.
Back at Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie was figuring out ehat she saw, and how to get to the bottom of it all.
"Well, maybe I should ask the other Wonderbolts. Maybe they know" said Pinkie. She head off, asking Twilight for the spell which would let her walk on clouds, and took a pegasus chariot.
The Wonderbolts were heading in, and of course, Rainbow and Soarin were walking together.
"Hello Spitfire. I was hoping you could give me some insider news on two of your fellow Wonderbolts?"
"I'm assuming it's Rainbow Dash and-" said Spitfire.
"Soarin" answered Pinkie. Fleetfoot, Blaze, and Misty Fly all shared a look.
"That's highly confidential" replied Fleetfoot coolly.
"Why?" pressed Pinkie.
"Well-uh..." Fleetfoot started sweating.
"We didn't want to bring it up, but Crash has been lagging behind. So Soarin's is giving her extra training" covered Misty Fly.
"Well, then how does KISSING come into your excuse?" yelled Pinkie Pie.
The Wonderbolts cringed. "Uh, we didn't want to worry you but Dash it having some medical issues, and needed-" started Blaze.
"CPR!" bursted Spitfire. Everyone stared at her. The others caught along, and nodded.
"If it was CPR then-" started Pinkie Pie.
"So nice to see you bye now!" said Blaze, zooming off, leaving Pinkie torn.
Next, Pinkie Pie questioned Rainbow's parents, Bow Hothoof, and Windy Whistles.
"Hello Mr Hothoof, Mrs Whistles, I heard some news about your daughter" said Pinkie.
"Our little Dashie?" asked Windy. Pinkie nodded.
"Something about her and Soarin"
"They're great flyers and friends" said Bow.
"Are you SUURREE" said Pinkie, slurring the end.
"Yes indeed. In fact, Rainbow will be going on an flying trip, toghether" said Windy.
"And may I ask who is organising the trip?"
Pinkie's next stop was to Scootaloo, who was chatting to Rainbow Dash.
"Hello Scootaloo, need some info on Rainbow and someone" said Pinkie, her eyes wide and mad.
"Uh, who?" asked Scootaloo.
"Soarin" Rainbow Dash's face changed to pure horror.
"Um, I should be going now" said Rainbow Dash.
"No you're not" cried Pinkie, pinning Dash's tail to the ground.
"Um, they're great friends" lied Scootaloo.
"Really?" urgred Pinkie.
"Yes" giggled Scootaloo.
"You know what, I'll ask Soarin myself" Pinkie said, letting go of Rainbow Dash.
"NO!" yelled Rainbow. Pinkie Pie raised an eyebrow," I mean, he's super busy"
"Still, if he can make time to give you CPR, he can talk to me"
"CPR??" Looking at Scootaloo's expression, she caught on,"Yeah yeah"
"Soarin" called Pinkie, at Wonderbolt headquarters.
"Oh, hey Pinkie" said Soarin, coming out of the change rooms.
"I was wondering if you could tell me about Rainbow Dash" said Pinkie, as if a craze had taken over her.
Soain blushed, but you couldn't see from inside his uniform, "She's very talented flier"
"Anything else?" growled Pinkie.
"No?" said Soarin, unaware whether Pinkie knew of his relation with Rainbow Dash or not. For the mean time, it was best not to tell her.
"Well, on a scale to one to ten, how good friends are you?" asked Pinkie.
"Um, 10?"
"AH HA!" yelled Pinkie Pie, "YOU CONFESSED!"
"Confessed what?" asked Soarin, playing dumb.
"You two are dating" accused Pinkie
"That's crazy, why would you even think of such a thing?"
"I saw you two kissing" Soarin winced, "And the CPR excuse is just lame!"
"But I was giving her CPR!" insisted Soarin, understanding what the others told her.
"Yeah right" snorted Pinkie, "I'm gonna get Dashie to confess now"
Soarin thought fast. Without Pinkie looking, he pressed the ambulance service button. A stretcher came wailing, and they picking Pinkie up and tied her up on the stretcher.
"Hey, what are you doing?" said Pinkie, trying to get off.
"Oh, Ms Pie here was rambling on and on. She has some kind of brain problem. Please give her a check up" explained Soarin
"Yes sir" nodded the paramedic, and Pinkie screamed. Soarin sighed as they left. Pinkie was really onto the, he and Rainbow needed a plan.
"I'm gonna catch 'em Gummy, I'm gonna" panted Pinkie in a weird accent,"And I know just where"
"Should I order a cup of coffee for you honey?" asked Soarin.
"Nah I'm okay. Plus all those fangirls will just grab you, and you know how much I hate that" said Rainbow Dash, rolling her eyes.
"Still, this room may be small, but it's cosy" said Soarin, looking around the empty room, with a huge padlock at the front.
"Hmm, should we heat it up more?" asked Rainbow.
"Thought you'd never ask" Soarin and Rainbow leaned in a kissed. All of a sudden they heard a lound crash.
"GOTCHA!" shrieked Pinkie Pie, falling down from a wire. Soarin and Rainbow stared at each other, words not coming out
"I KNEW IT!" screamed Pinkie.
"This isn't wh-at it look li-kes" stuttered Soarin.
"Come on Soarin. We don't have choice" sighed Rainbow Dash, "We're dating"
"AHA! Wait, why didn't you tell me?" asked Pinkie Pie.
"I'm sorry okay! I didn't want everyone to know, because we're just not cut out for a high flying relationship, you know how to media ponies are" said Rainbow Dash, eyes brimming with tears, "I just want us to be a normal couple"
Pinkie sighed. She understood her friend wanting to be normal. "I'm sorry Rainbow I should have been good friend and respected your privacy"
"No, no, I'm sorry. We're friends, I should have been honest with-" Rainbow was stopped mid-sentence as Pinkie game up and hugged her.
After they broke apart, Rainbow Dash cozied up next to Soarin. "I love you Soarin"
"I love you too Dash" replied Soarin, leaning in and kissing Rainbow Dash.
"Um, you might want to not do that in front of me" said Pinkie, looking away, as Rainbow and Soarin laughed
