There comes a time when ponies yearn for home. As rebellious teenagers, ponies think they are invincible and want nothing more than independence on their side. But as ponies go out into the world and experience what it is like, the sensation of independence dulls. Alpine Shield has experienced that feeling more than he would like to admit. He knows when to follow his gut and when to do the right thing. The only thing left for him to do is go back to the place where his journey began.

Yggdrasil is a giant mythical tree of Norse Mythology. It binds the nine realms of Norse Mythology together in a kind of interconnectedness. Although each realm controls a certain quality or trait, they all rely on one another to function properly.
