Chapters Author's Note
Before reading this I would like to advise that the writing quality isn't the best for the first couple of chapters as it was my first attempt at writing a story. The quality does get better later on and I'm working towards revamping this as to make it better to read and better in story. Other then that enjoy and have a great day.
Prologe
The dark and cold of Sombras’ throne room was interrupted by the sudden open of large steel doors, as an armoured pony starts to rush in. The two ponies standing guard ready themselves to attack before being meet with a cold stare by the intruder. realising that this was their commander, they pull back their lances and stand back into attention as their commander speeds on by towards Sombras’ throne which the pony himself was seated upon.
“Explain to me why you have the nerve to burst into here while my army is facing against celestias’, why aren’t you on the field using that amulet I designed to WIN THIS WAR?!” Sombras’ voice booms though the room, echoing the question several times as if there was more then one of himself in the room,
“Because I’ve had enough of your rule and I’m here to defeat you and take over your place as king, with this amulet and my magic you shall DIE!” the commander starts using the amulet around his neck to amplify his magic, his eyes glowing an unnerving red as he begins to fire all manner of spells towards his target. With each shot Sombra dashes away, making each one destroy a part of his throne room as he dodges each of his traitors attacks. The guards begin to move in before being stopped by Sombra, declaring that he’ll deal with the traitor alone.
The battle rages on as Sombra dashes from side to side, using his magic to form weapons to strike upon the traitor while he keeps attempting to hit his target, using teleportation to his advantage until he was suddenly stuck down by Sombra. The devilish pony starts to walk up to his former army commander, a stern look upon his face,
This was all interrupted when the sudden voices of Celestia and Luna could be heard frim outside the room. Sombra curses to himself before rushing towards the exit leaving the amulet and pile of amour behind. He left with one of the guard ponies as the other starts to make her way towards what was left of the traitor,
It was just a normal day in Ponyville, the birds were singing, the ponies were trotting and of course, Pinkie Pie was throwing a party at Sugar Cube Corner. This particular party was for anther anniversary of when the Alicorn Bloodmoon came to Ponyville, however he’s not the focus of our little story. The real focus of our story is one of the guests at this party. This pony had a fur of dark purple with the cutie mark of a human ps4 controller (he doesn’t understand it either). His mane was red with an neon blue outline and looked like fire while his tail was like a curved blade, the lower half red and upper neon blue.
This ponies name was Cursed Fate and he wasn’t conversing with any of the other ponies at the party other then a bat like Pegasus named Shadow Pro, who was a dark blue pony with what was a pentagram for a cutie mark. The mane and tail looked like it was wet with both being black and red strips. Now I understand that this is a lot of describing of what are characters look like but it’s better to get that information out of the way, did I mention that Curseds’ eyes were blue while Shadows’ were blacked with a red pupil, weird right?.
Anyway, these two ponies were conversing about what they had been doing over the past weekend, “... and so that’s why I think Shadow of Equestria is still a good game, even with its micro-transactions.” Shadow Pro looks up towards Cursed, thankful that he had finished talking,
“so, now for what I did this weekend.” Shadow signals Pinkie for another plate of cupcakes, “well first I tested out some new demonic potions recipes I found, I managed to complete that secret project of mine and I’m closer to finding out what happened to Bloodmoon.”
Cursed looks up towards her, thinking to himself I’m sure it was your fault, you like to mess with the fabric of reality sometimes. He looks towards Pinkie as she places the mountain of cupcakes onto their table, “ I can’t wait to see why he’s here but lets not focus on that but instead your project, is it safe and protected, will anypony find it?” He looks towards Shadow, noticing that she was focused on the entrance of the store. Cursed turned to see what looks like rainbow dash but... different, why does she have Pinkies tail, or should I say he and ... and ... is he an ALICORN?!
“*cough* excuse me Shadow,” Cursed says as he looks back at her, “but what is THAT!”
“That would be Bean, my project to create an alicorn,”
“well it looks like it has worked but what’s with the donkey cutie mark?”
“lets just say the name implies for itself.”
Bean looks around, searching for something before laying eyes on Shadow Pro, “There you are, I’ve found something near our home.” He instantly rushes towards the table with the two ponies, holding what looks like an amulet with his magic. Cursed turns towards the object and notices what it was,
“Wait, is that... is that the alicorn amulet!" Cursed goes to grab it but was taken out of his reach by Bean,
"so you want this, you'll have to come get it first," Bean Instantly speeds out of the building,
"ah ok, now I get it," Cursed says annoyed before becoming serious once again, "we need to get that amulet from him, where is he going?!"
Shadow looks towards him, "most likely back to my place, follow me, I had recently put a teleportation spell on it so it can move if found." The two ponies start to head towards the Everfree forest, not aware that their life will be changed forever (oooooo, suspenseful right?)
So, where did we leave our story, oh yeah I remember now. Our two ponies, Cursed Fate and Shadow pro, were chasing down Bean towards the ever-free forest where he was leading them back towards Shadows' home or hut should it be called. The two followed him into the building as they were suddenly meet with a bucket of water falling upon their heads,
"Really, a bucket of water, that is the most basic of pranks Bean," Shadow tells her creation as she goes towards a separate room to retrieve a couple of towels to clean both her and Cursed. "here, have this," she throws Cursed the towel with her wing as she turns towards Bean, who was flying over the cauldron in the centre of the room (I should point out that Shadow designed her home based on Zecoras' hut, to help visualise it),
"Now I need you to pass Cursed the Amulet, why do you want it anyway?" She turns towards Cursed as he throws his towel to the side before giving her a look which made her fur stand up on end,
"Because the Alicorn Amulet is a family heirloom that we have been searching for generations." The two ponies seemed confused with this as Bean lands in front of him asking,
"But how was it lost in the first place and how is this thing your family heirloom?"
"If I tell you two about what this thing is will you promise me never to tell anypony else about this?"
They both looked at each other before replying in time with each other, “we promise." Upon saying this Bean teleported in the table which both Shadow and Cursed were at when at Bloodmoons' party, with his party cake included with it, "I'm guessing they moved it to our table, oh well free cake for us!" As Bean say this he diggings his face into the cake, making shadow slide away from him before turning towards Cursed,
"So then, what's the story behind this thing?" She grabs the amulet from Bean while he distracted and placed it onto the table using one of her bat wings.
"This is a long-ish story so it's a good thing we have... scratch that, had some food," Bean looks up towards Cursed, his face covered with icing before licking it all away, "So where should I began, it all started in the crystal empire, while King Sombra was in control. He had been leading a war against Celestia and Lunas armies when he had realised that there was no-pony keeping an eye over his empire. Because of this he had decided to enlist a commander to over-see his armies and lead them too. This pony was known as Emerald Fate who was one of his most loyal and powerful unicorns."
Cursed looks towards the Amulet, his fur beginning to stand up on his skin before returning to his story, "Due to his power and loyalty, Sombra had decided to create an Amulet for him to increase his power and make him unstable to his foes. This was known as the Alicorn Amulet and when it was bestowed upon him his powers become greatly enhanced and he started to feel unstoppable. During one of his battles, his opponent had questioned him that if he has all that power, why has he not overthrown Sombra. Emerald ignored his opposition but the question had started to infect him mind. Over time he started to become more and more disloyal to his king before one day storming into his throne room to confront him."
Upon saying this the amulet had begun to glow an ominousness red before Shadow interrupts, "I'm guessing it can hear use, should we carry on or stop the story?" she turns towards Fate who was beginning to draw closer to the Amulet before Shadow interrupts again, "CURSED!" He snaps out of his trance before turning back towards the two ponies, Shadow looking as if she was concerned for him while Bean had his head rested onto the table, he looked either board or was regretting he ate the whole cake.
"Oh yeah, so when Emerald and Sombra meet up, he had declared that he would end his reign and so on. They both fought but he was defeated and became trapped within the Amulet. The reason why I know all this is because of Diamond Fate. She was one of Sombras personal bodyguards and was the wife and mother of Emerald and his children. After the fight happened Sombra went to deal with Celestia and Luna who had personal come to deal with him. During this, Diamond went to pick up the Amulet and fearing that Sombra would punish both her and her children, she had taken them and herself outside of the empire which protected her from when it become banished. with no-where to go, she went to where Celestia and Luna had landed after witnessing themselves what happened to the empire and had asked them of their help to free her husband. The two were hesitate at first but agreed in the end. So that's the story behind it."
Both Shadow and Bean looked at each other before Shadow asks, "Ok but why isn't this part of history, and did your family lose it in the first place?"
"Well that's simple, while they were over in Canterlot having Star swirl the bearded help them with their task of releasing Emerald, the castle was hit by thieves and the Amulet was stolen. Afraid of what may happen if someone was to get the Amulet and use its powers for evil, my ancestors had decided to destroy all evidence of the amulets connection to our family and this was only to be passed down with our family itself. Each member of the family was to be tasked to find it and then try to discover a way to release Emerald. We were also told never to wear it as it too dangerous."
Upon hearing this, Bean jumps up out of his seat and onto the table saying, "So no-one in your family had decided to try it on, not even once?"
"No, not even once. Now can you get down before you break the... WHAT THE TARTARUS!" Cursed looks towards the amulet which had begun to rise into the air, it still glowing its red colour but more intensely as Bean flies backwards away from it. The Amulet suddenly stops its actions and lands back onto the table, becoming dormant again.
"Now I know that this sounds like a bad idea, but I think you should were it Cursed, maybe it might tells us why that just happened" Shadow looks towards Cursed, noticing that he was thinking the same thing.
"If you think I should then I just might," Cursed leans over the table and moves the amulet towards himself before using his magic to lift it off the table and towards his neck, "well, here goes nothing." He puts the Amulet around his neck as everypony jumps back, thinking something would happen but instead there was just silence.
Cursed looks towards the other two, both of them looking as confused as he was before stating, "Well then, nothing happened..." Before he could finish his sentence his eyes suddenly flashed a bright white as he slowly lifted into the air while a Bubble of red magic which couldn't be seen though was forming around Cursed.
"Bean, can you use your magic to help him?!" Shadow asks Bean as he began the fire at it using his own magic but it came to no effect as Cursed was fully surrounded by the bubble before it had shrunk into the Amulet. Shadow and Bean looked at each other and then the amulet, unsure on what to do after witnessing their friend be transported into the Amulet with no knowledge of if he was to be ok or if he was doomed forever.
So, last time Cursed Fate was transported into the Amulet, lets see why shall we.
Cursed Fate begins to open his eyes as he notices that he was no longer in Shadows hut but instead inside what seemed to be a void surrounded by red magic with no beginning or end. He attempts to stand up when he realises that there was no ground as he was just floating in mid-air. He had no idea on what to do before a disembodied voice called out to him,
"So, are you by any chance Cursed Fate?" the voice was sharp and stern, as if it was from some part of the military. At first Cursed was confused on who this was before thinking that this could be only one pony,
"Yes I am and are you by any chance Emerald Fate?" The red void was silent for a short while before the voice called back,
"Your are correct in your assumption, I am what remains of Emerald Fate." The choice of words given by Emerald begins to spark multiple questions within Cursed mind, the most important being what does he mean by remains? Before he could ask him the question, Emerald spoke back, "when I was put into this place I had my body and magic, but over time it began to deteriorate and, with no other option, I started to try to use the magic around me to keep myself alive. It had worked for awhile but due to the amount of magic I was using my body could not contain it all so it started to become the magic itself. When I noticed this I realised that I may not go on forever but this was untrue, instead I had become the magic itself and so I now control the magic with this place, or well some of the magic here, as there seems to be places that are inaccessible to me."
Cursed looks around, seeing the magic slowly form a pony shape in front of him as he began to question it, "So you can read my thoughts and why am I here?"
"Yes, I hear your thoughts and I brought you here to tell you something about the Amulet and it's magic" Cursed tries to get closer to the magic made pony as it began to tell him of the reason for him being there.
Meanwhile, in Shadow Pros' home, both Shadow and Bean were debating on what they should do with the Amulet which had been placed onto the table,
"I really think you should put it on, maybe you might be able to get Cursed and bring him back (plus it would rid me of you)" Bean looks towards Shadow, giving her a stern look replying back,
"Maybe you should, who says tat it needs to be a magic user to wear it?"
"No, I need to keep guard here and make sure that no-pony enters this place or else we would be in seri..." Before she could finish her sentence the Amulet began to glow once again as the magic bubble began to form out of its gem and lands onto the table with the Amulet entering the bubble. As it vanishes, the two see Cursed Fate on top of the table wearing the amulet. he looked like his normal self but something was different. Upon closer inspection, Shadow notices that his eyes have become a dark red with a red aura emitting from them. His horn was still purple but the tip had seemed to fade to a dark red aswell and lastly he seemed to have developed red bat wings. These wings were transparent however, as if they were only there due to magic. Both Bean and Shadow were sitting down in shock before Cursed begins to speak,
"Now, I can explain why I look like this." The two ponies snapped out of their shock and decide to move closer to shadow as he jumps of the table and grabs a seat to start to explain, "So, while I was in this Amulet I had found, or he found me, Emerald and he explained that while he was stuck in that place he had tried to use the magic to keep himself alive. During this he had discovered that Sombra had put too much Alicorn magic into the Amulet and so he had put up walls to stop anypony from using too much of it. Of course, when Emerald broke down one of these walls his discovered that this trapped magic would give the wearer the ability to fly, with some limitations due to it still not being the full extent of the magic available."
"So lets get this straight," Bean leans in closer as to inspect Curseds' new see-though bat wings, "wearing that Amulet not only gives your magic an enhancement boost but it also gives you the ability to fly!? I want it!" He goes in to grab the Amulet off Cursed before being surrounded by a red magic aura as the pony gets out of his seat and removes the Amulet, which changes the aura around Bean to a light purple and the changes to Cursed reverting back to normal,
"Look, if you were to wear this it wouldn't work. It turns out that Emerald has full awareness of his surroundings and can only use the magic inside properly to effect the user and so he will only grant his bloodline its true power. If not the magic inside becomes wild and instead corrupts the user, like it says in the books about this thing." Cursed trots towards Bean, placing him on the ground as he uses his magic to lift the Amulet in front of him, "So if you want to no control over your own actions go right ahead and wear it."
Bean backs away from the Amulet and towards Shadow, who moves forward towards Cursed as she begins to ask, "So, what exactly are your gonna do with this new power you have, are you going to become a hero like mane six?" Cursed looks at her with a slight grin forming on his face,
"Why yes, that was the plan I had in mind, what do you think Emerald?" Cursed looks towards the Amulet as Emerald communicates to him within his mind that sounds like a good idea, helping others, why not , "Emerald's in, you two?" The two give Cursed a confused and concerned gaze before nodding their heads,
"It does sound like a fun, we could create some costumes and give ourselves some nicknames and..."
"We're not gonna do that Bean, plus you don't know how bad Cursed is at trying to keep a secret identity, he was Gandolfs' secret Santa last year and he reviled it to Senesh who, after getting drunk, split the beans and ruined the event."
"I thought you said you wouldn't tell anypony that!" Cursed turns towards Shadow, staring her down as she replies back with a low sorry, "But she's right, we're not going to do that, there really is no need to be fair. The mane six are heroes of the whole of Equestria and they don't have secret identities."
Cursed begins to walk towards the exit as he turns back to the other two, "So shall we look for something to do then?"
"How about we go back to the party, we need to explain to Bloodmoon what happened to his cake and return the table."
"Don't worry about that," upon saying this Bean uses is magic to transport the three and the table to Sugar cube corner were they discover that the party had already ended and Pinkie was there cleaning up the mess,
"Oh hi there, I see you brought back our table, that's great and do you have the cake with you because it took me all week to make him that cake?" Pinkie looks at the three as Shadow steps forward,
"Sorry about the cake Pinkie Pie but my creat... I mean friend here had eaten the whole thing without a second thought." Pinkie looks towards the blue alicorn before turning back towards Shadow,
"I didn't know Rainbow Dash had a alicorn twin and... does he have my tail? Well it doesn't matter and neither did the cake because for some strange reason Bloodmoon doesn't like cake, have you ever heard of somepony not liking cake it's crazy. Anyway I hope you liked it sir"
Cursed moves towards Pinkie as he says, "With how quickly he ate it I assume he did?"
Cursed turns towards Bean who was licking his muzzle while rubbing his chest, "Yeah it was really nice, and I got it all to myself so that was a bonus!"
"Well anyway, we're sorry for any problems we had caused while in our absence, now I have one simple question, is there any problems, like superhero levels of problems, that we could help you with?" Cursed gives Pinkie an unnerving smile as she replies back,
"Nope but why don't you go ask Twilight, maybe she has something for you?"
"Thank you Pinkie," Cursed signals the two ponies to get closer to him so he could teleport them to Twilights castle,
"Wait, I should tell you that she's not at he home but instead at..." Before she could finish the three vanished out of sight as Pinkie returns to sweeping away the party mess, "Oh well, better get back to cleaning up."
The three ponies teleport outside of Twilights castle as they knock on her door, "Hello, anypony home?" The three were then greeted by Starlight Glimmer who looked as if she just go out of bed,
"Look if your here to speak to Twilight she's off on friendship map business (and I was having a nice sleep in), why are you looking for her anyway?" She pushes the door fully as she shields her eyes from the sunlight before looking towards the three,
"We where wondering if their was any problems, like superhero types, that we could help solve?" Cursed gives another of his smiles to Starlight as she looks at him with concern before then noticing the Amulet he had floating next to him,
"What's that you got there?" she points towards the Amulet as the three ponies Suddenly exchanged looks of worry between eachother before all replying with, "Nothing," as the three disappear again. Starlight gives just a simple shrug before closing the door to return to her slumber.
After the three return to Curseds home to pick up his bag to put the Amulet in the three decide to explore the ever-free forest instead,
"Maybe instead of just jumping into helping others we should test out your new powers on a timber-wolf or two," upon Shadow saying this her request was granted when the group was attacked by four timber-wolfs who had surrounded them. They had slowly started to close in on them when Cursed grabs the Amulet and puts it around his neck. Once this was done the red bubble formed around him but instead of sending him to the Amulet it instead transformed him into what he was before when he left the Amulet. Both Bean and Shadow use their wings to lift themselves of the ground and above the wolves but when Cursed attempts to follow he instead falls flat on his face,
"Ow that hurt, maybe I shouldn't fly yet." He notices the four had lost focus on his two friends and instead drew their attention to him, "Ok you four, you think you can take ME on, you are grossly mistaken!" upon saying this one of the four wolves leaps at him but instead hit a barrier that was formed around Cursed and was then greeted to what could be described as a magic missile as it exploded the wolf upon contact. The other three look towards the sticks and timber that was their companion as they turn back towards Cursed, each lunching an attack at him. The first attacker attempted to strike at Curseds back left leg but was meet with the same fate as his buddy, the second attacker attempted to strike at curseds face but instead he became surrounded by a magical aura before being then flung across the forest into a tree as he exploded upon contact. After witnessing his friends explode into twigs and logs, the fourth attacker decides to turn round and escape but was instead lifted off the ground and flung upwards towards Shadow and Bean who both used their hide legs to buck the flying timber wolf and shatter him.
"Well that was fun, we should do that again!"
"I think we should rest Bean, it's almost night and today has been crazy so we should get home." Shadow and Bean both land before Cursed who removed his Amulet, retuning to his normal form, and placing it into his bag.
"She's right Bean, I'm going to head back to my house now, you two have a good night."
"Thanks Cursed, you too" Cursed uses his magic to teleport himself to his home as he places his bag at his door and removes the Amulet from it as he made his way towards his bedroom upstairs. Upon entering the room he removes a heavily locked box, unlocks it, and places the amulet along side documents and papers with his family history in, "Night Emerald," Night Cursed. Cursed locks the box and places it under his bed as he puts himself into the covers and closes his eyes to go to sleep
Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location, a dark figure seems to be watching Cursed Fates ever move though a blue magically formed ball as the figure spoke, "So the Amulet has returned to its blood-line, well this has become more difficult to obtain it but no matter, when I have it I will finally rule Equestria, and no-one will be able to stop me, muhahahahaHAHAHAHA!" The figure looks around his surroundings before mumbling to himself, "God I'm lonely."
Hey Fate wake up, there’s somepony at the door. Cursed opens his eyes as he began to pull himself out of his bed, rubbing his eyes in the process. "Thanks for telling me, I'm going to have to keep you in the box Emerald ok. If this happens to be any of my other friends I don't want them finding you." I understand, if more knew about me we could have some serious problems on our hooves, or yours as I don't physical have them any more. Cursed looks towards the box containing the Alicorn Amulet as he smirks at Emeralds comment before making his way downstairs and towards the door.
Upon opening the door Cursed was greeted by two ponies. One of them was a purple Pegasus whose mane was styled after that of Sonata from Rainbow rocks but was a dark blue with black strips instead of her normal hair colour. She had a cutie mark resembling a dark blue ok hand gesture and had light pink pupils. The other was a very light purple earth pony with a mane style similar to vinyl scratch but was all pink instead. Her eyes were a dark purple and her cutie mark was that of three yellow stars. Out of the three she was the smallest, which had fit her name so well too.
Cursed looks towards the two ponies as he asks, "Oh hey Shorty, hey Kawaii Potato. Why are you two over here exactly?"
"Well we and the group were planning on heading out to the bowling alley; Gandalf was given the day of teaching magic and wanted all of us to have some fun there. And apparently Shadow will be bringing anew friend to meet!" Kawaii smiles with glee towards Cursed as he yawned back to them before replying,
"I'll be right over then, see you all there." The two ponies wave to him as he shuts the door behind them before making his way towards the kitchen to make him some breakfast. Upon pouring the milk into his cereal he was startled by Emerald so will you be leaving me here then or are you going to risk taking me with you? While cleaning up the spilled milk Cursed replies back to Emerald using his thoughts yeah I think it should be for the best, after all, no-pony other than me, Shadow and Bean know that you're here and besides, you’re in a very secure box that only I can access so if somepony was to steal it, they wouldn't be able to open it. I guess you’re right, now should you start heading down to this bowling alley place then?
Meanwhile, in an unknown location, a strange figure was watching Cursed though a blue magically formed orb. "So he's going to leave the Amulet all alone in his house, why this is perfect," The figure begins to circle around the orb cheerfully as he continued, "with him away playing bowling with his friends, I sneak into his home and take that Amulet away from him. Once this is done I can begin my conquest of Equestria and nopony will be able to stop me, this is too good to be true but it is."
The figure attempts to transport himself into Curseds' home but to no success. He continues to try before screaming out in frustration, "Ahhhh, why can't I enter his home?!" The pony looks towards the orb as he notices Cursed has decided to mark his front door with a strange symbol. Upon closer inspection he realises that the symbol was there to prevent anypony to enter his home using magic, something he may have learnt from shadow and her use of symbols and incantations (one incantation which may or may not have caused a certain pony some annoyance and another being used for the creation of Bean).
"Damn it, this will be more difficult than I thought. It looks like I will need to take a more direct approach, muhahahaHAHAHA... I should really stop doing that." The figure begins to cast his teleportation spell once again, this time named aimed not directly into Curseds' home but instead outside of it as the figure vanishes.
While at the bowling alley, Cursed had meet up with seven ponies that were split into two groups of four. In one group there was Cursed himself, Shorty, a (light-ish) black unicorn with a black mane, purple eyes and a 50p coin for her cutie mark who was known as Senesh and a grey Pegasus with a black mane with thin grey stripes, dark purple eyes and a shooting star for her cutie mark and was called Star Flight. In the other group opposite them was Kawaii Potato, a light brown earth pony with a mane like Fluttershy but blonde instead, light blue eyes and a half rebel half empire cutie mark and was known as Loki Fangirl, there was a white unicorn with a pink mane and eyes with a laughing emoji cutie mark and was known as Sophaloaf and lastly there was a light grey unicorn with a long white beard (but short white mane) who had grey eyes and a pop bottle for a cutie mark known as Gandolf.
The two groups were seating in their respective bowling areas waiting for Shadow pro and who she was bringing with her, which Cursed knew already was most likely going to be Bean. They were all waiting patiently until Sophaloaf had given up waiting as she shouted,
"Where in Equestria is she, we've been waiting for nearly an hour now!"
"I think we may need to start without her and her new friend, it would be for the best." As soon as Gandolf finishes his sentence Shadow bursts into the building with Bean not far behind. She scans around looking for the eight as upon spotting them, she rushes towards their location.
"We're sorry we're late but a certain pony wasn't being very co-operative," she turns to look at Bean as he landed himself onto the ground next to her. She then turns back to see a surprised faces, all excluding Cursed who was slowly sniggering at their reactions,
"It's the same look gave when I first saw him," Cursed gets up from his seat as he walks towards Bean before facing his friends," Everyone, meet Bean. He's Shadows attempt at making an Alicorn as you can see, it worked." The group was still in shock until Gandolf asked,
"So then, Bean, what team would you like to work with?"
"I was told that I've got to stay with her," Bean looks towards Shadow with a unpleasant look, "She says that I'll get up to no good if I'm in my own group."
"Fine then, seeing as you already know Cursed why not you two go on his team, Senesh you come over to our side so it's even." She rolls her eyes as she makes her way towards the other group. While she did this, Cursed leans in close to Shadow and Bean, whispering to them, "Remember what I said back at your home Shadow, tell no-one of the Amulet ok you two?"
"Not even one hint?"
"No Bean, not even a hint." The two ponies then nod at Cursed as they meet up with Star Flight and Shorty to discuss bowling order.
While all that was happening, the unknown figure from before had broken into Cursed Fates' home as he was search around for the box. It had seemed that while he was distracted at how he may be closer at taking over Equestria, Cursed had decided to move the box somewhere safer to keep away from sight. The pony was looking everywhere for the box, under his bed, within the cupboard and even behind posters of DJ-pon3. He felt as if he was never going to find it as he slumped down and leaned against the rooms’ cupboard. As soon as he contacted it the cupboard slid backwards making the pony hit his head against the floor before getting up to notice a secret compartment underneath,
“Finally, I found the box. Now to get out of here before he gets back.” The pony attempts to use his magic to teleport away but failed, “Ah yes, the symbol. Fine I’ll leave out the window instead.” Upon saying this the figure rushes towards the window, using his magic to hold the box as he crashes threw it. After suffering a cut here and there the pony uses his magic to transport himself back to his own home, placing the box down next to the orb as he walks away to go tend to his wounds.
It was the last bowl needed left for Cursed team to win the game. His opponent, Sophaloaf had scored a spare meaning if he was to earn a strike, the game would be won. Cursed prepares to aim when suddenly Emerald contacted Cursed, I think we have a problem here. The sudden surprise had made Cursed miss the shot and was unable to score the strike, what is the problem Emerald, you just made me lose this game!
I think somepony has broken into your home, I can hear stuff being thrown around and... Hold on... the box is moving, the intruders found me, quick get here now!
Cursed turns round towards his friends as he states, “I need to go now guys, it was a fun game we played,” he then looks specifically at Shadow and Bean, signalling them that they need to go with him.
“Yeah, I think I’ll take Bean home now too, he’s not happy when he loses.” Cursed then runs up to the two as he teleports the three away with him. The seven remaining ponies looked at one another, confused on what just happened.
The three appear outside of cursed home to see that his downstairs window had been smashed inwards while his bedroom window seemed to suggest the intruders escape. Emerald, do you know where you are, are you even still moving? I don’t think I am, after hearing what sounded like a smashed window next came what sounded like magic before everything went still. Now all I hear are the muffled sounds of somepony sounding as if their healing themselves.
Cursed runs upstairs towards his room to find that it had been destroyed and the box missing, don’t worry Emerald, we will find you and you kidnapper, I promise. Cursed then returns downstairs to see Bean trying the put away all the glass while Shadow was looking at the symbol that Cursed had on his front door,
“Well this explains why you didn't just teleport us inside, what happened anyway?” She turns to see Cursed sweating with panic as she slowly realised why he was this way, “It’s the Alicorn Amulet isn't it, it’s gone isn't it?!” All he could do was nod as Bean rushes next to them,
“Well let’s go find our culprit then, is there any evidence left behind or something?” Upon saying this Curseds’ head sprung an idea as he rushed upstairs to his room, the other two following him. When then entered he led them to the window where it seemed that on one of the shards there was some blood left form the intruder, “Shadow, do you think you can whip up something using this blood to help us him, I'm going to stay here to tidy up the mess made and I want you to come straight back to me when you do find him.”
The pony nods her head before launching out of the house. Bean begins to follow before turning round back to Cursed, “It must suck, to lose the Amulet after only just getting it back.”
“yeah, it massively does.”
"For Celestia's sake why won't this stupid box open!?" The dark figure kept attacking Curseds' box as he began to feel defeated. The Amulet inside it almost seemed unreachable to him before a disembodied voice began to speak to him.
"How are you going to take over this perfect land with that sort of motivation?" The voice seemed filmier to the figure but he couldn't put his hoof on it,
"How do you know what I'm trying to do here, and where are you exactly?"
"None of that matters, what I can offer you is a way to gain access to the Amulet inside but you must do something for me if I allow you access to the box."
"As long as I gain the Amulet I don't care what you ask of me." The voice began to give a low chuckle as the Shadowy figure began to feel like he had made a mistake,
"I want you to kill Cursed Fate and his two friends. I think you might want this too." Suddenly an item seemed to appear from nowhere as it landed in front of the figure. It was shaped like it can hold the Alicorn Amulet within a locket like necklace but it seemed to have some form of exhaust on it. The figure moved towards the item and picked it up with his magic,
"And what exactly is the reason for this?"
"It will remove all the... corrupted magic that's within it when you wear it, now do as I ask or you will be dealt with in a manner that would make Hades wish to kill himself." the voice faded away as the boxes seals that had confined it had either wiped away or unlocked themselves as the box opened, showing the documents and images of the Fate family history and past. The figure put the necklace down as he used his magic to look though the papers and documents until he came across the amulet,
"This is perfect, now all I’ve got to do to find where those three ponies are and then all will be said and done."The figure pushed the box to the side as he formed a magic orb which had allowed him to spy on what Cursed, Shadow and Bean were doing, "What's this, it seems that I won't need to go after them, oh this is too good to be true!" The figure began to go around the orb excited as he then proceeded towards the Amulet, "I better prepare for their arrival."
Bean bursts though Shadows hut door as Cursed follows him not far behind. when then enter they see Shadow standing next to her cauldron which seems to have some form of map of Equestria above it,
"Be careful, that door is old and easily breakable," Shadow looks towards Bean providing him with a stern look as he replies
"What you talking about, it's perfectly stable." Bean taps onto the door as it suddenly flies off its hinges and crashes onto the ground next to him, "Errrr, it was like that!"
"I don't care about what the doors like I want to know what you found out!" Curseds voice booms within the hut as it almost causes the shelves of jars and potions to fall off the walls as well the centre cauldron to almost tip over, "Sorry about that, still mad about what has happened but Bean said you have found a way for us to find where our culprit is?"
As Bean flies around the room repositioning everything Shadow turns towards Cursed, who was still standing in the doorway, "If you would come towards me I can show you what I have been able to do." Cursed moves towards the cauldron as Shadow turns towards it, the map above it showing Equestria but it had a little sparkle in the middle of a desert, "As you can see, this is the best I can do. This map shows the approximate location of our culprit. I had tried other methods but there were... complications."
"Well it's a start, I think we should...."
Cursed, bad news but the box has been opened and...
WAIT WHAT! But I'm the only one that can open it.
"Cursed, are you alright? You seem frightened." Cursed looks up towards Shadow and Bean, who had stopped flying around the room and instead had landed to the right of Shadow, with the Cauldron on the left and magic map on the top.
"No, nothing is alright; we need to find our culprit pronto before we are all in a world of hurt!" Cursed begins to rush towards the hut door frame as he turns back towards his two friends, "You two pack what we need and meet me at the station, the culprit has found Emerald."
Cursed then proceeds to dash out of the door as Bean turns towards Shadow with a puzzled look, "What does he mean by Emerald?"
"I think he's talking about the Amulet but neither the less this seems very bad, let’s gets everything together. Could you get some of those potions over there and also my book on the different types of capture and banishing rituals?”
"Yeah yeah I'm on it, after that I'm going to go get some of my snacks and take them with me." Shadow rolls her eyes as she looks towards the door frame,
"Let's just hope nothing bad is going to happen."
Cursed was standing at the train station with his bag which was filled with books about different desert structures and tips about surviving in the desert as well as have different equipment needed for the trip (like a flask and parka). He was tapping his hoof on the ground, confused on where his two friends were when he sees them flying towards him with bags on their backs as they landed at the station steps and make their way towards Cursed.
"Good we're all here, the trains almost here so I need you both to check that you've got what you need?" Cursed quickly looks towards the two ponies, sweat forming on his forehead as he gave them both a panicked look,
"Don't worry we've got what we need, everything will be ok, also I think you need to wipe your forehead." Shadow points towards Cursed as he proceeds to grab a cloth form his bag and, using his hoof, wipes away the sweet from his forehead before putting the cloth back. He then turns and looks towards Bean and Cursed,
"Thank you, now Emerald has informed me that he was just able to identify who are culprit is." The two ponies looked at each other puzzled before turning back towards Cursed with Bean being the first to speak,
"Who exactly is Emerald?" Just as he asked this question the train had pulled into the station,
"I'll tell you when we're on board, now follow me." The three entered the train and made their way to one of the carts as they sat down on a four chaired seat, watching the train leave the station form outside their window, "Ok, so you remember that story I told you two about that ancestor of mine, Emerald Fate, and how he was trapped within the Amulet."
"I barely remember it, and I don't think Bean remembers any of it."
"Hey, I remember what happened!" Bean gives off an angry expression as Shadow responds with a sarcastic look,
"Oh really, tell me what exactly can you remember."
"I remember that I had cake.... ok maybe I don't remember what happened." Cursed signs with frustration which grabs the attention of both Shadow and Bean,
“In short, when he was trapped he started to slowly become the magic itself, he told me this when I was pulled into the Amulet. Due to the user of the Amulet uses some of the magic inside it then it means that Emerald can have a connection to the user, if he so chooses,”
Shadow and Bean exchange looks of confusion between each other but instead they shrug at what they have just been told, "ok, so you can communicate with Emerald, though some telepathy I guess?"
"Actually that's quite correct Bean, didn't think you would understand so quickly." As soon as Cursed finished his sentence he noticed Shadow had seemed to realise something as she stops looking out the window and towards Cursed,
"Wait a sec, you said earlier that Emerald has been able to spot the culprit, who is it?"
"Oh yeah, well apparently our culprit was an old friend of Emeralds from back in the crystal empire war. He's a light orange unicorn with a dark blue mane and tail with the cutie mark of dark blue lapis lazuli. Funny enough that's his name too." Bean doesn't seem to show any care to what Cursed had been saying but Shadow had learned in closer to listen to what he had to say, "Also he is apparently adept to spying magic so he could.... err Shadow, your eyes are bleeding!" Shadow quickly backs away as she wipes her hoof under her eye. As she looks at her now blood soaked hoof she spent no time to hop out of her seat,
"Let me go sort this out, I don't want either of you following me, I mean it!" She rushes towards the nearest carriage containing a bathroom and locks the door behind her.
"I wonder what that was about."
"Maybe its how she has her..."
"No, just no Bean."
Hey Cursed, I have an idea on what we can do to immobilize Lapis. The idea is if your friend Shadow can use one of her 'spells' to contain him I could try to reason with him, maybe get him to be our friend and possible help use if we ever go on more adventures.
It sounds plausible, but if it doesn't work we may have to be a bit more forceful, after all he will have your magic unless you deny him it, which will only corrupt him.
I know, it's a difficult decision to make.
"Hey, Equestria to Cursed, are you ok?" Cursed looks up see Shadow, who was just cleaning the last of the blood from under her eyes. She shoved Bean towards the window as she sat herself back down, "So, while I was away, did anything happen?"
"Yeah I'm ok and yes actually, right before you got here Emerald had asked if it's possible that when we encounter Lapis if you could use your abilities and knowledge to detain him." Shadow leans towards her bag and pulls out a leathery book with stitch marks across it as she opens it,
"I've got a couple in here so it shouldn't be too difficult, looks like we don't have enough time, looks like our stop is next."
"Wait, why are we stopping off at Klugetown?" Bean turns away from the window and towards Cursed as he was preparing to move off the seat and grab his bag.
"It's the closest place to our stop, I thought we could see if we could get some help to transverse the desert, my book can only help so much." they all felt a sudden shift as the train halted to a stop. The three step off the train to see a rundown looking town, full of all sort of interesting creatures and the odd pony or two. The three looked between themselves, each exchanging a look of concern and questioning if this was a good idea.
Before any of them could say a word a familiar voice spoke from behind them, “Huh, well I didn’t expect to see you three here,” the three of them turn to see a white Alicorn with purple hair that had red tips on the ends of them. His eyes were a deep red and his cutie mark was of a Red Crescent moon, “You do remember me right?”
Bean and Shadow exchange some looks of confusion between each other as they try to remember who this pony was. Cursed on the other hand had no problem recognising who it was but was looking between his friends to see if they can remember him, “seriously guys, ok here’s a clue, Bean remember when you had stolen that cake?”
“Oh yeah, it was delicious.”
“Wait, your Bloodmoon right?” Bloodmoon rolls his eyes towards Shadows response as he trots towards the three.
“Well that took you long enough, why are you three here anyway?” He darts his eyes from pony to pony as he sees each of them have bags full of different types of equipment and snacks (the snacks mainly being Beans bag), “you three planning on doing some exploring?”
Cursed and Shadow each exchange a look of concern while Bean goes into his bag and grabs an apple, which he then begins to chew though as he responds, “You can something like that.” He continues to eat though the apple as his two friends look at him, mentally telling him to be quite, “What, he wasn't wrong.”
Shadow continues to mentally inform Bean to be quiet as he slowly backs from her gaze, Cursed rolls his eyes at their situation before turning towards Bloodmoon, “So you know why we’re here but why are you here exactly?”
“I was looking for some stuff that can only be brought outside of ponyville,” He turns his gaze towards Bean who had stopped moving backwards and continued to eat his apple, “And that’s all I'm going tell you, so don’t bother asking what I’m getting.”
“Hold on one sec,” Cursed and Bloodmoon turn to see that Shadow has interrupted there ,small, conversation, “you don’t happen to know your way round here do you?”
“Around the market mostly but that’s the most I know, the rest of this town is kind of deprived. I’m going to guess that you want my help around?”
“If you don’t mind, were here to mainly look around for any extra supplies and a map of different desert routes to help us.”
“Sure Barney, I can help you with that.”
“It’s Cursed,”
“I know, I’m just messing with you, follow me you three.” They begin to make their journey into the market looking around for anything of use, each of them wondering what exactly would be in store for them when they do find Lapis.
The four ponies were walking though the market, going from stall to stall looking for supplies for their journey, well actually only Shadow, Cursed and Bean were looking for stuff to buy while Bloodmoon was just guiding them around the market. Every time Any of the group got distracted Bloodmoon would use his magic to pull them away from the stall so he could guide them to where they would get the most supplies, he mainly had to do this to Bean however as Cursed was too focused on thinking of a plan for when they find Lapis while Shadow would get distracted at the odd stand or two (normally containing special jars or liquids). The four where coming to the end of the market as Cursed was afraid that they won't have everything they require before Bloodmoon snapped him out of his worries,
"Ok you three, we're here." He turns towards them as he points his hoof to the left where stood a stall with maps, canteens, protective clothing you name it, and it would be there (if it is something to help you in the desert of course, no gaming consoles there), "You should be able to buy everything you need for your 'adventure' into the desert, now excuse me while I go do what I came here for." As he said this both Shadow and Bean made their way towards the stand as Bloodmoon begins to trot back though the market place. He was, however, stopped by Cursed,
"I need to thank you for helping me, I mean us, we really appreciate it." Cursed exchanges Bloodmoon a smile as he lends out his hoof for a bro hoof (if it's still called that). Bloodmoon looks at him showing a bit of annoyance before returning Curseds offer as he turns away, making his way through the market. Cursed turns round to see his friends coming back with both of their bags overflowing to the brim with equipment that can help them on their travels, "seeing as your here I'm going to guess that you brought what we need?"
"Yeah, I brought some rations and clothing, Bean just brought rations." Both Cursed and Shadow look towards Bean who was beginning to eat though his rations, which when he raises his head he notices both of the ponies staring him down which had caused him to drop his food and return their gaze with a cheeky grin. "Well I think it should be time we start going to here, " as Shadow says this she pulls out a map from her bag and points to what looks like the image of a temple, "It's the closest thing to where my cauldron map from early showed where Lapis is, so it's best to start here."
I think that's the best choice too, it does seem like I'm in some sort of structure or building . "Well according to Emerald he's in a building so we should defiantly check here." Shadow looks away from the map towards Cursed, giving him a concerned look,
"You ok, it must be difficult for you." Cursed gives Shadow a look that could only be described as the look you would when someone wishes you to be quiet, which in turn cause Shadow to retreat back into the map.
"Let’s get a move on, Bean?" Cursed looks towards the Alicorn as he sees him opening another ration,
"Yes," his reply was being muffled by another ration that he was scoffing down,
"Stop eating those and get a move on, let’s start going as soon as we can," Bean closes his bag as he began to make his way towards the desert, while Shadow had began to put away the map as she started to follow Bean, before being stopped by Cursed, "Yes, this is difficult for me, but if we don't hurry worse things will happen." The two finished their conversation as they began to make their way towards the desert, signalling Bean as it turns out he was walking in the wrong direction.
If you've ever been in a desert before ten you know that it can be harsh and dangerous, and this is what our three ponies had to face with each step. Everywhere they went all they saw was miles and miles of sand and with every few miles there would be some sort of danger, killer scorpions, sandstorms, you name it and they would face it. This didn't stop their journey however, nor their conversation,
"So, I was wondering," Cursed, covered in layers of desert clothing, turns towards Shadow, his voice sounding slightly exhausted form their journey, "early today your eye began to bleed, why is that?"
Shadow stopped in her tracks, causing Bean to crash into her, "One day you may find out why and on that day I want you two to be ready for that day, ok?" Her voice sounded shaky but also scared, as if it's a secret that she didn't want anyone to know. Cursed didn't say anything and just nodded along as Bean passes over the sand hill behind them.
"Hey you two, I've found a building, think it might be where Lapis is staying?" Cursed takes one last look towards Shadow, her face hidden away before she began to move towards Beans voice, Cursed following along.
As they passed over the hill they saw what looked like a small home made of sandstone, the building looked abandoned and rundown, the walls falling apart and the door looked old and broken down. The three made their way towards this building, each of them being slow as they were not sure if there were any traps nearby. They soon got the door as Cursed began to examine the door, thinking that it too could be a trap before Bean came from nowhere crashing into the door and landing into the centre of the room,
"where are you Lapis, I haven’t done a prank in days and it’s making me uneasy." He looked around the room, surrounding him was just old boxes gathering dust and cobwebs, a old wooden torch on the wall as well as the odd picture or two, but it was difficult to determine what they had because most of the photos were either gone or rotted away. Cursed and Shadow entered the room behind Bean and began to look though each of the boxes,
"I could have used that door to replace my old one Bean," Shadow scowled at Bean before turning towards one of the boxes in the room, opening it and rummaging though the junk inside, "Never mind, let’s just look though these, see if we can find anything confirming our suspicions or even the Amulet itself.” Cursed heard what Shadow said and began doing the same thing while Bean started moving towards the old torch, inspecting it for anything out of place.
“Give up Bean, you’re not...” Before Cursed could finish his sentence Bean tugged at the torch with his mouth and it breaks the stand behind it, which had made a section of the wall collapse on itself, “See, it’s not like it’s a story Bean, that wouldn't have opened a....” before he could finish another sentence the room began to sound like gridding metal, the sound mainly originating from Shadows direction, “or maybe it will.”
“Actually I think that was me,” Shadow began to move backwards from her box as it started to drop downwards and then slide to the left, reviling an open staircase leading to complete darkness. Cursed and Bean both exchanged looks of confusion as then made their way towards the entrance of the staircase.
“How exactly did you find this, and Bean get that torch out of your mouth,” Bean spits the torch out towards the staircase, the three of them listening to it hit off every step before hitting the bottom. The three began to make their way down the stairs, each of them no longer wearing their gear as the staircase seemed to give off a cold breeze. Cursed was first as he used his magic to light up the path, then Bean as he doesn't want Shadow to stop and crash into him again and of course then there was Shadow who was still trying to hid her face.
It had been almost an hour as the three were still going down the staircase, which was being timed by Lapis. He kept looking between the magic orb and his stopwatch, becoming more and more board with each passing second,
“This is boring, I thought at least Bean would decide screw it and fly down but nope, they all rather walk, I Regret building those bloody stairs." Lapis was sitting in front of his orb, waiting for the three to get to him before suddenly standing up and throwing his stopwatch to the side, "I can't wait any longer!" Lapis horn started to glow a dim light blue before the three ponies teleported away into a dark room.
With all that was going on Emerald seemed confused, he was unsure at who that voice was from before that had communicated with Lapis and to why Lapis was doing all this. He only knew one thing, Whoever that voice was knows about his existence in the Amulet.
Hey Cursed, there's something I need to tell you,
Could by any chance tell me what happened first,
You were transported by Lapis, he knows your here but there's something else. Earlier there was a voice that communicated with Lapis and gave him a strange device. It looks like it would be used to hold the Amulet but there's this weird addition to, which the voice had said that it would remove any foreign magic. I think he meant me.
Well that's not good, by the way it looks like there's a door at the end of this room and there's this dim light coming from under it. Lapis started to run around the room, looking for the device that was given to him by the voice. He soon found it and and then went towards the box containing the Alicorn Amulet, using his magic to hold both the items as he then cleans the room, making it empty and void. He had finished just in time as he heard voices from outside a door, a purple light emitting from underneath.
"So, you guys ready for this?" Cursed looked between his too friends, Bean looking uneasy, while Shadow looked like see was ready for a fight, "I'm going to assume you two are, lets see what's in here then." Cursed places his hoof against the door as it creaks open to reveal a empty dark room. The three enter inside, each step echoing of the walls before a sudden voice was heard,
"Finally, you three are all here," As this was said the room began to light up with blue magic like wisps, starting from the three friends and ending at the other side of the room, showing Lapis standing upon a pillar he had created using his own magic. Without hesitation both Bean and Shadow launched forward, Beans' horn lighting up with pink magic as well as Curseds' horn lighting up with his own magic. Before all three of their attacks connected with Lapis his pillar vanished and instead a force-field formed around him, repelling all of them.
The three regrouped at the centre of the room as Lapis began to laugh, floating in the air (like starlight did that once) as he began to gloat, "Wow, you three can't even hurt me, no wonder King Sombra had asked me to kill you three." Bean gives off a shocked gasp while both Shadow and Cursed ready themselves for combat, Curseds horn glowing with intense fury while Shadow, using her bat-wings, picks out a leathery looking book entailed 'Traps and imprisonments'.
"King Sombra? So that's the voice that spoke to you then!" Cursed voice echoes from wall to wall as it went towards Lapis, confused as to what was just said,
"How did you know that?" As he questioned Cursed his face began to light up with a realisation, "Wait a second, Emeralds still alive in the Amulet, isn't he?" He smirks towards Cursed until he heard another voice. It was Shadow, who was speaking in an language that Lapis couldn't decipher, "Quite you, we're having a conversation here." She was then silenced, her mouth closed by Lapiss' magic as then began to flick though her book as well as dive into her bag, which was now on the floor next to her.
"Shadow you ok?" Bean rushes to her as she signals him to look in the other side of the bag. Cursed sees his two friends look though the bag before turning back towards Lapis, anger filling up inside him as he began to charge towards him.
"So you want to fight, THEN LETS FIGHT!" Curseds voice booms throughout the room as Lapis starts to laugh at his actions, still thinking that his force-field could protect him. He was mistaken however, as the magic that Cursed was building up had released into a massive blast which contacted the bubble around Lapis and shattered it. Afraid for his life, Lapis quickly put the Amulet into the device and then attached it around his neck, right before Cursed leapt into the sky towards Lapis. The room was then filled with a flash of red as Cursed was thrown back towards his friends, both shielding their eyes as they went towards their friend, who had now obtained bruises and cuts from the explosion.
His two friends start to bandage up his wounds as Cursed looks towards the bright light. He sees that Lapis was then absolved by a white ball of light with rays of red coming out of it. He began to hear him laugh from inside it as a wave of red magic began to leave the bubble and land in-between both of them. The red magic attempted to form itself into the shape of a pony but couldn't succeed.
"Cursed...I...ne..ed your.....help!" Cursed knew that this was Emerald and, still injured, began to move towards him. Each step hurt him as blood was dripping down his body. His friends called out to him but he ignored them as he kept making his way towards Emerald, "Cur..se..d....please...help....I...Can't....stay.....together."
The bubble around Lapis had faded away as it revealed his new form. Like Cursed, his eyes were glowing a bright red but there was a difference. His fur had become Blacked and his new bat-wings were actually there, starting black like his fur and fading into a dark red. His cutie mark had changed into the Amulet and his Mane and tail had turned into a mix of dark red and dark blue. He began to look over himself, laughing maniacally as he started to attack the walls around him with his new red magic. He sees Cursed limping towards the magic wave that was Emerald and attempts to attack him with his magic but is stopped by Bean flying in and, using his own magic, creating a force-field around him to block his attack. It worked of course but the force of Lapiss' attack at thrown him back into the wall above the door.
"BEAN!" The magic that stopped her voice had faded away as she rushes towards his aid, noticing that he was thrown so hard that his head had begun to bleed, "Don't worry you'll be ok." She glances towards Lapis with anger in her eyes as she bandged Beans head. Lapis had ignored Cursed at this point as he flew towards Shadows location, his eyes burning with rage before a sudden change into laughter.
"I was only using 10% of my magic and it's strong enough to throw back an Alicorns magic, well an new Alicorn but who cares, soon you won't exist at all!"
Cursed finally reaches towards Emerald as he collapses in-front of him, "I have...an idea Emerald, but.... it's risky." His voice sounded faint due to the blood lose as his horn began to glow as it started to absorb Emerald,
"Lets...Hope...this works."
Lapis was about to let off an attack before a sudden boom erupted throughout the room, which caused him to turn and see what was Cursed who was now surrounded by an red magic bubble. Shadow notices this too and looks upwards towards Lapis, giving him a smirk as she then taunts him, "Looks like you shouldn't have ignored him, now you're the one that's going to die." He gives her a glaze of anger before flying over to the bubble.
"Well then, this is going to be interesting." the bubble began to expand until it had suddenly exploded, covering the while room in a flash of red before fading away to reveal Cursed. His fur was still Purple but had now developed light green patches, his cuitemark was now a his ps4 controller but made of Emerald and he had purple wings that faded into green. He had one blue eye and one Green and his mane was now red and yellow instead of the old red and neon blue.
Cursed looked over himself before turning towards Lapis, giving him a taunting smile as he begins to speak, his voice being a combination of both his and Emeralds, "So then, are we going to fight, or talk?" Lapis laughs under his breath at his remark before letting of his magic in his direction, which Cursed doges by launching himself into the sky. He then replies Lapis attack with his own, the magic being a combination of purple and green, as it hit the ground where Lapis used to be.
Confused, Cursed begins to look around for Lapis before hearing a sudden pop and then a pain in his left wing, causing him to plummet into the ground. Cursed gets up to notice that Lapis had teleported behind him again, as this time he used his magic to attack him. It was deflected by Cursed as he lifts himself back into the air with tremendous speed, "nice try, but your going to need to hit harder then that to hurt me." With no time wasted he rushes towards Lapis, who then teleports into the sky above him and attempts to attack him again but just misses. Cursed continues going forwards until he reaches both Shadow and Bean, who was still out from Lapiss' attack, "Shadow, can you try and trap him, like before?"
"I can try but you'll need to distract him, I'll need time to make sure Bean is still ok before I can get to reading the incantation." Cursed nods towards Shadow as she proceeds to heal Beans wounds, which Cursed only noticed now that he was centred in the middle of some ritual circle, "Before you ask, no he's not dead, this is just the best way I can heal him."
Cursed acknowledges as he turns to see a beam of red heading his way. Without hesitation he forms a force-field to repeal the attack as he sees Lapis charging up another one. Cursed starts to charge his own and as Lapis fires his Cursed does the same, both colliding into eachother creating a a light show of red, purple and green from the contact point.
"Impressive that you can withstanding this Cursed but I must burst your bubble, I'm only using 50% of my power. I think I should go all out, don't you?" Lapiss' beam of magic grew twice as large as it begun to push back Curseds' attack. Cursed was staring to be pushed back by Lapis attack before a beam of pink entered the fray. Cursed looks to his left and sees a still injured Bean helping him attack.
"Need some help there?"
"Very much, thanks Bean." Cursed gives him a friendly smile before turning back towards Lapis, him and Bean giving it their all to try and push back his attack. This worked, for a little while, as Beans attack started to fade as he collapses to the floor, "Bean!, Shadow you need..." As he calls for her he notices that she was speaking the same language as before, but this time she was able to finish her sentence. As she did, she quickly threw the book to one side and rush towards Beans aid. Cursed turns back to Lapis, still trying to hold back his attack as he sees a circle of light surround him. As it did, his attack began to fade away and soon disperse as Lapis becomes fully immersed by the light. Cursed stops his attack and smiles happily before collapsing onto the ground.
We can't stay like this any more, if we do your body could be torn apart with this magic overload!
I know, but do you want to stay in that Amulet, forever?
It's either that, or we both die.
Cursed starts to stand up and begin to fly up towards Lapis. He attempts to struggle but fails as Cursed uses his magic to remove the and the device from around Lapiss' neck, creating a flash of white before revealing the former orange and blue Lapis, still struggling.
"Why can't I my magic!?"
"Why do you think?" Shadow taunts Lapis as he still attempts to struggle out of the circle. Cursed proceeds to land and remove the Amulet out of the device and crushes it under his hoof. Cursed then places the Amulet and, with a flash of red he turns into when he first put on the Amulet.
Lets leave this place shall we?

Cursed uses his magic to surround his two friends in a flash of red before disappearing back to Shadows home, leaving Lapis floating in his circle.
"Well, this sucks, I hope King Sombra will forgive me."
The three appear the Shadows' home as she quickly rushes into another room and brings out some supplies. She begins to create another ritual site around Bean as she asks Cursed to get some certain jars and viles from the shelves around the room.
So, do you think Lapis is going to try and go after us?
knowing him he might, but it will be a long time before that happens so he need not worry about him, lets just help your friend Shadow heal Bean.

Lapis scoffs in mid-air before a voice begins to speak to him,
"YOU DARE FAIL ME LAPIS!" The voice boomed across the room, echoing from wall to wall giving Lapis chills down his spine.
"I...I'm sorry king Sombra but...."
"King Sombra? I'm not that worthless piece of dust." Reality began to distort around where Lapis was first seen as Cursed stepped out from the distortion, but his eyes were not the nice light blue but instead engulfed in a raging red. His fur was different too, instead of it being a dark purple it was instead a light blue and his mane was all purple. Behind him was another pony, Bean, but instead of looking like a Alicorn rainbow dash with pinkies tail he instead looked like a Alicorn Pinkie with Rainbows tail. And lastly their was another creature, but not a pony. Instead it was chrysalis looking changeling with long red mane with black streaks inside it and black voided eyes, similar to Shadow Pro.
"Who are you three, and why do you look like those three ponies you asked me to kill?" Lapis no longer felt scared at their presence but instead relaxed.
"Can't you tell you idiot, it's me Cursed, or well a different Cursed from another universe that is."
"So I'm going to guess that the Pinkie looking Alicorn is Bean and... who is that exactly?" He questions the Changeling who doesn't respond to his question with words but instead hisses in his direction, which caused chills to run back down Lapiss' back.
"That need not be important, what is important is your punishment for failing to follow my simple instructions, Bean, go have your fun." Cursed then begins to teleport in two bags of popcorn as he and the changeling began to eat them as they watch Bean make his way towards Lapis.
"So what are you going to do to me?" Lapiss' voice sounded scared as Bean stopped his approach towards him.
"Tell me, have you heard of a story called Cupcakes?" Bean gives a devilish smile to Lapis as he continues his approach, removing the magic circle around him and teleporting in an assortment of equipment and tools, all of them being a striking similarity to the tools used in the story of Cupcakes.
Author's Note
The last chapter in the story, but not in the series. I will be planning on the next story for the future series but for now I have got another idea for a story, one for a GRIMDARK so be ready for when it starts and have a good day.
Chapter 4.5, nruter trohs s’lliB
“Ok, we have only a limited number of attempts at this,” Shadow grabs the vile of blood from her shelf as she trots pass Bean, “so we should use as little as possible. If we waste it, we’ll never find the culprit.” She begins to pour a drop of blood into the centre cauldron before going back to her shelf to grab more viles and ‘questionable’ jars to put their contents into the cauldron.
Which each passing, Bean became more and more confused, “Sooooo, what exactly are you doing?” Shadow stops for a moment, rolling what was left of her red pupils before turning back towards Bean,
“Using the blood from that glass shard I'm trying to create a copy of the pony that stole the Alicorn Amulet, dose that answers your question?” Upon being given his answer Bean began to look over himself, looking more and more concerned before turning to Shadow Pro,
“Wait, was I a creation?”
“Errrr, lets not focus on that for now, if I don’t we could cause some serious problems.”
“But I want to know the answer, NOW!” when saying this Bean stamps his hoof into the ground, creating a shockwave throughout the room causing Shadows shelf to fall apart. As they all fell, Shadow sees the problem and attempts to stop them from hitting the ground. She manages to save most of the jars and viles but sadly some were destroyed.
“For Celestia sake Bean, I needed some of these for the creation. Now I've got to improvise, this should do it.” She grabs one final vile as she moves towards the cauldron. As she pours it into the mix the liquid starts to rise out of the cauldron, slowly forming into a pony like shape. The form then begins to lower to the floor, the liquid turning into a yellow earth pony with no mane or tail but instead just a simple top hat and bow tie. The ponies’ cutie mark seemed to be a copy of the pony that stood before the two as it began to open, nothing inside them but the pupil. The pony begins to look around his surroundings before turning towards Bean and Shadow,
“So, what dimension is this?”
It was his final moments in this dimension, being defeated by two children and their gruncles' would be what will most likely be the worst thing that could ever happen to him. He looks towards his executioner, sacrificing his own mind and memory just to kill him. While looking at the blue flames around him, he remembers the ancient words that could make him stay alive. He turns back towards his foe, changing his form into different shapes and colours as he began uttering the words,
"!nruter yam I taht rewop tneicna eht ekovni I !nrub ot emoc sah emit yM !L-T-O-L-O-X-A" To any normal being this would sound like complete chaos but not to him, not to Bill. As he finished his sentence Stan punches Bills one eye as he vanishes to nothing, supposable being defeated. This, however, was the not the case.
Both Shadow and Bean look towards Bill with confusion, they both have never seen a pony like this before. Shadow goes towards the pony, circling and inspecting him as Bill begins to roll his eyes at Shadows actions. He then turns his attention towards Bean as he asked his question again, "What dimension am I in, and what is she doing?"
"I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean?" Bill looks towards the Alicorn with anger as he begins to float into the air and transform his hooves into sharp knives, "You will tell me where I am or I'll make sure that you won't exist in this or any other dimension! I've had a really bad day and I feel I little murdery!" As he was threatening Bean, Bill sees the other pony from before walk towards a bookshelf and removes a book which look like it was made out of a universe. The book itself looked as if it contained zero pages until Shadow opened it, revealing that the book actual has what seems to be an infinite number of pages.
"I think I know what's happing here, now where is that chapter... ah yes there it is," She looks up towards Bill, his expression turning from anger to confusion, "you're Bill Cipher, a dimension jumping being with only pupil eyes, a top hat with bow tie and the ability to control the very fabric of reality itself. In the last dimension you were in you were defeated by the Pines family and enacted an ancient power that brought you here."
All Bill could do was look in awe, he has never seen anything know this much about him before, other then the Axolotl, "How do you know that much and could you tell me where I am?"
"Hold on let me find out... there, your in My Little Pony dimension number 2." Shadow closes her book as places it back onto her bookshelf as she continues, "And that was my book on dimension, dimension creators and dimension jumping beings, I had acquired it after creating a ritual and... none of that's important." She turns towards Bill who has now landed onto the floor in front of her, "Now I will need you to stand right there while I create a potion to get you into a new dimension, trust me you won't like it here."
As Shadow dashes around the room, fixing the mess Bean had made while also creating the potion, Bean had started to move towards Bill as he sat down next to him, "So then, your ok with her sending you away?"
"If she knows as much about me as she does she will know what I want," He begins to look himself over and then the pony next to him as he continues, "besides, I think she may be right, I really don't like my new form and for some strange reason I can't turn into my real form, even though I change my hands."
"Hands, what are those?"
"There like hooves Bean, but they have these five extra attachments to them called fingers and can be used instead of mouths, wings or magic to hold objects."
"Yeah, what she said."
Shadow grabs a small empty vile and dips it into the finished potion as she then proceeds to make her way towards Bill, "drink this, you'll be transported to a dimension where weirdness reigns and you will be ruler." Without hesitation Bill rushes towards the red-ish black potion in Shadows wing and gulps it down. He lets out a satisfied burp as he rises into the air once again, ready to go into a new dimension. this is not the case however, as he had stopped rising and instead crashed into the ground. A strange yellow energy exited his mouth as Shadow grabs a jar and contains it within, creating a ritual seal on top of the lid before going into another room.
"What have you done to me," Bill says weakly as he discovers he can't (kinda) change his form no more, and was confined to his pony body, "why can't I change?"
Shadow walks back into the room holding a new vile, the liquid inside looks like it has what contains a chaotic universe, "I've removed your powers, I know what your like Bill Cipher and if you think I was going to leave you to rule over a dimension with no remorse, you are highly mistaken. Now hold still while I give you the real potion but keep your powers, they will be useful for future rituals, byeeeee." As she forces the potion down Bills throat his body began to change from yellow to a Dark blue and black, with small stars appearing all across his body (in other words, his fur became a universe) as it began to shrink within itself until there was nothing left but a small dot, which vanished with a simple pop.
"So, where did you send him off too?"
"Weren't you listening, I sent him off to a dimension where weirdness reigns, the difference is that he won't become ruler. Instead he will retain his pony form and would be unable to stop anything from hurting him" Shadow then passes Bean the vile as she makes her way towards her bookcase once again, this time removing a rather big book made of dark red leather and sharp edges with a pentagram on the cover, "Now go put that back in the other room while I think of some other method of finding our thief, I don't want to bump into more dimension jumping beings today."
"How will I know where to put it?"
"It will say on the shelf Chaos dimension transport potion number 7, good luck." Bean questioned for a seconded at why she said good luck until he opened the room door to discover an endless corridor of potions that was never ending from top to bottom, left to right, and of course forward. "The shelf should be 56 down and 38 across, you'll see it." Bean felt as if he should be surprised at this but with what he had seen happen today, he just gave up on questing anything any more.
