Chapter 1: The Night-Mare Part 1: The Wild Beast
"C'mon...C'mon...Where is it..." I looked around. Trying to find my toy watch that I kept for so long. "Found it!" I looked at the old Omnitrix toy I bought in a pawn shop a all those years ago.
"Did you find it?" My mom asked, on the phone.
"Yeah, is was in the box labeled 'Pawn Shop' in the attic." I replied. Why was that there? I have no idea.
"Well, good for you Ethan, but I have to clean the house! Have fun watching your show!"
"Thanks mom, I will! Love you!"
I pressed on the phone, ending my conversation with my favorite person in the whole world. I looked at the old toy, and put it on my wrist. "Now, I have the snacks, the watch, and the original outfit, I'm all set!" I went running down the stairs, ready to see the reboot or Ben 10 on CartoonNetwork.
It was only five minutes before it started, so I took the time to look at the old toy. "A 19 year old man with a kids toy..." I said aloud, to nobody at all, really. I 'activated' the 'Omnitrix' and surly enough, HeatBalst appeared.
It didn't take me long to notice a button. An orange button on the side of it. "What the?" I pressed the button.
All ten aliens began to rapidly switch, with having to move anything. Maybe a random selector? I began to glow orange. It began to feel hot. Is it overheating!? I tried to take it off, but it wouldn't budge! "Ah! Get...Off!" It stopped at WildMutt. The it flashed orange.

MayorMare was ready to introduce Princess Celestia to what could be considered the entire town. "Now, give it up for: Princess Celestia!" The curtains opened as everyone cheered before she was even there. Everyone gasped. She wasn't there!
"Greetings my loyal subjects!" Soon enough, NightMareMoon appeared. Little did they know that something was watching them. A creature. Not evil. But rather watching, learning. And it knew, after a lavender pony spoke up, that she was bad news.
NightmareMoon narrowed her eyes at Twilight. But before she could react, a loud growl interrupted there discussion.
A beast jumped into the building. But it didn't attack anypony.
It had orange fur, large gills, no eyes, and large teeth made to eat meat. It walked on all fours, then turned its head to all the ponies; Then pointed at the exit, and did a non threatening growl. Of course, the ponies immediately took haste, and ran towards the door.
The creature turned its head to NightmareMoon, and growled threateningly.
"You think you can stop me from having Equestria shrouded in eternal night!?" The creature just smiled, showing how he wasn't afraid of her. "I'm sorry, pouchy, but I don't have time for this." She turned in dust the color of her mane, and began to make haste.
The creature got on its hind legs and jumped at her, only to go straight through her. She manically laughed, like the cliche villain she is.
"We have to stop her!" The creature turned its head to the lavender pony. It ran up to her. She took a step back, as it slowed down. It grabbed her than put her on his back. Then ran after NightmareMoon.
At first, she thought it was a threat. That was until she realized that it was chasing NightmareMoon down. Was she realized this, she took the chance. "We need to get to the Golden Oak Library! Its the tree up ahead!" The creature immediately obeyed, and change direction.
As soon as they entered the creature took the pony of his back. And waited.
She began to look through the bookshelf's, trying to find something.
It wasn't until now that the creature noticed that more than them were in the building.
"We-We gotta stop nightmare-!...Zzz..."
The creature grabbed Spike, and put it on what he assumed was his bed.
Twilight slammed a bunch of books onto a table, surprising the orange creature. "How are we going to stop NightmareMoon without the Elements of Harmony!?"
"Just what are the Elements of Harmony?" They both looked at the cyan pegasus. "How did you know about NightmareMoon, huh!? Are you a spy!?"
The creature just sat down in a dog sitting position, then looked at Twilight, and tilted its head.
"Simmer down sally, they're not spies!" Then an orange pony come in as well. "But she sure knows what's going on..."
Soon enough, six ponies, one baby and a strange creature where all in the same room of the same building.
"I've read about the predictions of NightmareMoon." Twilight began. "Some myestiorious objects called the Elements of Harmony are the only thing that can stop her." Then she grabbed a giant book with her magic, and dropped it onto the table. "The Elements of Harmony: A References Guide!"
She opened the book to a random page, and began to read. "They're six Elements of Harmony. But only five are known: Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty, and Loyalty." They all looked at each other. The creature growled at them, gaining the attention of the main six.
"What is that thing!?" Rainbow exclaimed.
"I don't know, but it's seems like it wants to help us." Twilight replied.
It nodded.
Fluttershy went up to it.
"Um...Excuse me...I d-don't want t-to be rude...But would you mind if you could tell me who you are?" They all look at her. The creature growled at her. It does that a lot.
"It says that his name is WildMutt, and he's here to help."
The creature, now known as WildMutt, smiled and nodded. Then pointed back to the book.
"Oh! Right!" Twilight looked back at the book. "It says here that they can be found at...The Everfree Forest!" They all gasped, save for WildMutt. "In the castle of the two sisters!"
WildMutt began to walk to the door. "Hey! Where are you going!?" Rainbow, still untrusting of Wildmutt, looked at him. Then WildMutt growled.
Fluttershy translated what he said. "He said that's he's going to stall NightmareMoon while we obtain the Elements!" All there eyes widen at WildMutt, who just smiled at them. Then ran off.

WildMutt swung on the trees, looking for NightmareMoon. He stops. He opens his gills. Thanks to his heighten senses he was able to find the bastard. His head turns left and he lets out a mighty roar.
"Persistent..." Soon enough NightmareMoon reviled herself to WildMutt. "I must say, I've never seen such a creature like you before..." She said, as she circle around him. WildMutt growled at her. "But i'm sorry to say, but your friends won't ever retrieve the Elements of Harmony." WildMutt's claws extended, showing how much he wanted to tear her to shreds.
"Sh...It's time to go to bed...Little one."
A fog the color of her mane surrounded the area. WildMutt couldn't think straight. He fell onto ground, completely unconscious.
