Darkness, Everything I see is darkness.
Sudden wave of static and veg image appear on view. As it adjust I try to figure out where I am. Couldn’t use my hearing, my nose, or my sense of touch for there is no sound, no scent, and nothing to feel around.
Why can’t I? Maybe because my own program being temporarily muted which effect my body as well. Either need me at standby for active use or doing maintenance. But why? Why was I here? My thought ended when sight has return and a little sentence appear at the right bottom view. Read: ‘Unlock access to volume system.’
Seeing this I thought of unmuting my hearing, before I knew it the volume un-muted and noise return, audible voices somewhere.
“This here is our latest creation! I hope this will be of use?!”
Heard a “hmm” came from another voice. “Its… stimulating.” Another spoke, different from before. A lighter high pitch voice registering as a feminine or female or mare.
“Is this what I think it is!? *gasp excitedly* You actually finish them!” Sound giddy, squeal in delight.

Another video starts up again. First sound I heard is a voice and shuffling. “What is it Twilight?! what's inside?!”
Shutters slowly open upwards and peaked out from below is light. Once the whole metal sheet cover moved out of the way and exposed these bulletproof windows have revealed my audience, fourteen ponies and one dragon. My eyes move to each one as expression of amazement, confusion or disappointment, some are both. One with darker shade of pink mane and pink coat spoke which images and bio of this pony is named “Pinkie Pie” is confuse. “A wolf? Oh Oh! Is it a new pet?” Pinkie guess happily.
“Not, exactly;” Lavender mare said uncertain. Mane is navy blue with a hot pink and purple stripe down the center of her mane passed her horn, those indicate her name bio is “Twilight Sparkle”. Unsure of this predicament she turn to speak to another pony, dark blue mare with wings and horn. “Princess, why is this here? I thought it was the Foal Production you want us to check on?”
Memory bank register this tall mare “Luna” or “Princess Luna”. Her own bio tells on her title as full time princess of equestria long after Celestia step down after they were co-rulers. Luna’s eyes stare into my function form and inform her pony.
“That would need to be in halted after the war dulled down. But it concern it;” She can tell Twilight didn’t like dealing with more work already on their shoulders. “What this prototype is using is the very program Foal Production have produce and kept out of pony eye even my own; except for you Twilight Sparkle, the ‘Adapt A.I.’.” Her voice annoyed, not happy that they kept this project from her.
Twilights ears shot up and gasp. “You don’t mean that ‘Adapt’?!” It got her friends staring at her, she explain. “You see, they are similar to A.I. but with a few modifications they turn into what they need to survive including change into ponies or in an environment where no pony can ever live in! They aren’t like machines where using frequencies in shutting them down. They are ghosts or spirits if you prefer. Once installed; they’re born and can create artificial organs, tissues, anything to create an actual body including brains and heart the moment they have an actual body, either machine or somepony else's body. Though they follow... adequate rules just like us.”

Flash of white and black encase my vision before opening like eyelids, color return in sharp detailed. Once bright white room with equipments and gadgets I’m use to are now paled and grey that has few rust patches over every wall, ceiling and floor, as for any equipments they either broken or rusted by time. Canisters that still carry liquid are crystal clear water a cylinder capsules around three feet tall while the rest ended up like the fragile equipments.
Hear a few clicks and a whine, the lift claw thats been holding me descended, releasing me as each cable unplug from my connection port. As the last one came off my body drops to the floor, soon after I got up with nothing restrain me. Stretch out my skeletal frame, if I can feel I would be glad to get out of that contraption.
As soon as it was over everything went in one smooth motion. Moved automatically towards a large tunnel design machine with. As I walked under it and see capsules gears and body frame armor hanging on grips and claws.
Once inside it spring to life, starts off with placing parts on me as my once expose skeleton now covered in metal and my face covered in a perfect imitation of a wolf head click into place. Thigh D.P.U[D(imensional) P(ocket) U(nit)] opened as 22 B.L.C.[B(lue) L(iquid) C(apsules)] and 12 Hornet (short blades) place inside.
Last part in place, my body shakes a bit as muscle and flexible like parts fill in the gaps in my shelled frame, before long I was complete. Arms and tubes move away and with a green light lit up then off as a sign for done.

Vials either crack or shattered into pieces furthermore spilling out whatever content within, release many chemical exposures such as disintegrating acid where one is right now chewed a hole through the metal floor.
‘How long have I been shut down?’ I thought then command in my processors. ‘Program. Estimated time on how long I was in Shut Down?’

I would be shock if I was a pony. ‘It’s been that long.’ I thought as I walk to one door and by with a single flick of a tentacil the door switch hoofle the door opens up. There are two directions and need some practice before heading out into the wide vast and head to my right for the training facility.

I took cover behind two large trash bins and my body humm a bit before an illusion trash bin like the ones I’m hiding behind. Wait for a chance to pass without notice and probably not bother them. But one thing would have made me gasp and green face is a filly hang from a strand of rope around her neck dead as she is drag across the dirt road.
Green stallion with brown short mane laugh and ventilate spoke. “That was nice; isn’t it nice; I think that was exciting, that silly filly thought we’re gonna help her and the next thing she knew BAM;” He stomps excitedly with a clack. “Dead!” They laugh like maniacs.
They seem to be walking to one of those carriage shed just across the street I have pass earlier. Took down a metal sheet off the now revealed insides. One eye camera zoomed in for a better look, what I discovered made my hardware freeze in equivalent to a shock body language.
Ponies; dead ponies, from foals to adults and even over age are place all over. Stallion threw the fillies body in on corner, probably cause one pile got to big. Another stallion with a dirt brown and ragged purple mane threw one more to the pile, a grey colt with a diamond black patch on the nose ridge and a pale blue spiky end mane with more on the right, probably fourteen years old by his size.
Should I take em out or continue on? Using my Threat Meter to see how dangerous they are, Analyze… confirm, all subject have brain infection, no reasoning.
I decide to eliminate them, can’t seem to understand why? I know that I’m suppose to protect equestrian citizens and that's what I was told to do, yet I have no orders to follow.
‘No, they killed innocent ponies…’ I assume. Mechanical tendrils; all eight in fact; reach inside for sets of Hornets blades in each one and take careful aim, wait for an opportune moment.
Their vocals are all hyenas whenever they laugh, exhausted or breath low, their crazy wide eyes, and no care for others to any degree sends anyone running. Seeing that the third pony in the group is the farthest so snuck up behind her as I return one blade back as it reach for a cloth on the group. Carefully walk behind her and with one smooth motion cover her muzzle and stab in the throat, ending her quickly. I didn’t stop there, place the body down quietly I move on to the next one as there are three left. Dirt brown and ragged purple mane stallion was second furthest repeat the action with a simple change as one more tendril sheath Hornet and snatch the falling gun before it could make any sound.
Last two didn’t even see me with them not being smart at first but now they feel something wrong. Mare ears twitch and swivel around, expect four laughter happening but there seem to be only two. Stallion turn first and already got a shotgun out, “WHAT THE FU-” he didn’t finish as a dagger flew and hit his forehead and another hit the throat finish the job as the old bucks corpse fell to the floor.
“Huh!” Mare turnaround and fire from her zebra rifle at me, low carefree laugh. “Die fucker DIE!”
But didn’t get her mark when a single tendril still holding a dagger deflect it with ease. Growl I charge at her while deflect any projectiles, she keeps moving back while firing. Two tendrils move and pull two Hornets out of the stallions body and swipe the blood off as I continue. One problem about her is, she's inside a garage that's not built for lot of movement. With one swift motion all Hornets flew out of my tendrils and with final scream they hit her two on her barrel, one on each foreleg, two at the chest, and lastly her throat. Everything fell silent but soon after I pull all my Hornets out mare drop dead.
Looked around and found out that all except the two fouls bodies have decayed an’ become nothing but corpses and food for the wasteland. And I’m in this hellhole! I couldn’t help but stare at what Equestria has become and it felt so, wrong.
