“SHIT!” I shout as my BRAND-NEW computer dropped to the floor. I quickly scooped up the now broken laptop. The screen had cracked in many directions, I did not have enough money for another one. That had been my 2nd computer in a month. Of course, it was late as well.
My body alerted me by yawing and drooping my eyes shut. “Screw it.” I mumble “I’ll just go to bed, maybe tomorrow will be better.” I start heading to my bedroom. “Wait, I have to clean the computer up.” That showed how tired I was I suppose. After cleaning the small shards of the computer from the floor I lay down in my bed. I always wondered why I am so clumsy. “Maybe it’s that I don’t care, or I just can’t help it. “As I drifted off to sleep. I quietly wished I had friends or family to help with my depression, and clumsiness.
Meanwhile in Equestria, Twilight was investigating random bits of magic emanating from the Everfree Forest. “These patterns don’t even make sense!” Twilight said as she quickly crumpled up a piece of paper, levitating it into a nearby trash can. “Oh, for crying out loud they aren’t even patterns!” Twilight sighed and started pacing.
“Is that bad?” Spike asked.
“It could be! For all we know it could be making some type of crazy storm!” She said swiftly.
“Yeah, but it doesn’t have to be bad right?” “They ARE small readings too.”
Twilight realized how much bigger of a deal she was making out of it. “Maybe your right spike, maybe it isn’t bad. I’m still going to watch it though, just in case.” Twilight’s stomach growled. “Now, let’s go eat something spike.” She said sheepishly.
“Finally! I was starving.” Spike said.
I was awoken by my doorbell being rung repeatedly. I tried covering the sound out with my pillow, but it was no use. I finally subjected to the repetitive doorbell and rolled out of bed. “I’m coming! I’m coming.”
I got near the door, and suddenly it stopped. I quickly opened the door expecting to see some kid playing a prank on me. Only to find a package and silence. There were no labels on the large cardboard box. Just tape and a sticker. Unfortunately, I could not read what it said as it seemed to be in another language. Not caring what it was I brought it inside only wanting to go back to bed. I instantaneously became curious, I wasn’t sure what brought this curiosity. All I knew was that I wanted to open it before going back to bed.
I brought the box into my office and went get a boxcutter to open it. Only to come back to the box missing and it set up on my desk. By it, I mean a medium sized desktop complete with a monitor keyboard. The mouse was there too but it didn’t look as fancy. I was extremely confused on how this had even gotten here, as I hadn’t opened the box or let anyone inside. I just then noticed I had dropped the boxcutter by accident in surprise. Thankfully not on my feet. I quickly picked it up and set it on the side of my desk.
The desktop itself was a large red casing with neon lights, it looked amazing. Personally, I loved neon, no matter the color. The monitor was also like this. The keyboard was Neon red as well. The mouse however was just plain black. I quickly rushed to the brand-new computer and turned it on. I expected a boot of windows but instead I got more language I couldn’t read. I got to a screen which just said 20% and I just expected that as the company name. Whenever it was done launching it said I had no internet. Although, seeing as how I had no ethernet cable I wasn’t surprised.
I did see a file on the desktop in English that said, “RUN ME (Driver Installer).exe”. Being the idiot that doesn’t know what viruses are, I clicked on it. The screen started glitching out, and I started thinking that I broke it. I knew I didn't though because the computer started getting louder and louder. The house started shaking, the computer flew off of my desk into the wall shattering. It flew back at me with the small metal cutting me. Until, something hit me and everything was white.
A crowd of ponies started looking toward the Everfree Forest, only to see some type of large comet crashing down into it. Twilight wasn’t paying attention when this happened, but she was alerted when ponies started shouting.
“What is that?!”
“Is it dangerous?”
She quickly went to gather the mane 6 and told spike to send a letter to Princess Celestia as fast as possible. She was not sure what was happening, but she knew it was big. Possibly dangerous and moving fast. Once she gathered Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Herself, they started heading towards the star looking object.
“I wonder if it’s a candy star!” Pinkie suddenly said. They looked at her inquisitively. "What? I didn't have lunch."
The impact came directly after she said that. A large rumble was felt through Ponyville, it didn’t last long but it was big. The mane 6 entered the forest and kept going until they found a large house. All they knew is that it didn’t look like the house in ponyville. Or in Equestria for that matter. It was a two story brick house with a tan door.
They inspected the strange looking house, it was small. Yet bigger than most houses. Rainbow Dash went around the house and inspected the inside through the windows. She could not see inside every room but the things in this house were abnormal. Twilight opened the door, and slowly crept inside. It was dark, she cast a spell that illuminates her horn.
There were many pictures of strange hairless monkey creatures. Books she has never seen before too, she was surprised to see them not written in Equis. She inspected every room thoroughly. The kitchen was the strangest part, it had cans of foods she had never seen or heard of. Again, she could not read the strange language. She noticed a lot of these things were meat and made a face of disgust as she did not enjoy eating meat.
Finally, she came to an office like area only to see the type of creature in the pictures. “AAAAHHHH!!!!” Twilight shrieked, it was extremely injured. It had what looked like a dislocated arm and blood all over. It also had many cuts from what seemed like metal on the floor. It looked like the ones in the pictures. The rest of the mane 6 entered as fast as they could.
Fluttershy hurriedly picked it up, “We have to go to my home NOW!” They all hurriedly flew and ran for her house.
