Cereal Wars: Brunch

Twenty minutes out from Pony Ville

Derpy was doing her best to get this delivery on time, but about halfway there she forgot to bring the wagon with her and had to head back for it. “Come on you can do it.”

“Hi.” a voice called out to her.

“Huh.” Derpy stop to see who was talking to her and found it to be the Wonderbolts! And the Captain herself Spitfire!

“How are you doing?” Spitfire asks.

“Fine. But what are you all doing here?”

“We came to see how you are doing.”

Derpy shy away from her little. she never had somepony famous as Spitfire pay attention to her before. “Why. I mean… I am just a mail pony.”

“Because we want to show our appreciations to our hardworking mail ponies.”

Derpy blushes a little “Oh. Thank you.”

“And to show our appreciation we-"

“HOLD IT!” Rainbow shouted showing up.

“Oh! Hi, Rainbow what-”

“Don’t play innocent with me, Spitfire! I know what you all are really here for!”

Spitfire looks confuse at Rainbow “What are you talking about?”

“I can see Thunderlane and Fleetfoot over there looking in the wagon!”

“WHAT!” Derpy shouted looking around to see indeed that two Wonderbolts are looking at her wagon! They seemed startled at being caught looking in the wagon. “BUT you said... and … YOU ALL WILL NOT TAKE THIS DELIVERY AWAY FROM ME!” Derpy then charge towards Pony Ville leaving everyone behind.

“Derpy wait!” Rainbow called out giving chase and leaving behind two disappointed Wonderbolts and one astonished captain.

“Has that mare ever applied for the Wonderbolts before?” Spitfire asked the other two. They just shrug in response.

Back in town

Starlight smiles as she sees another pony running down the street. “And that makes 33. Not back, however, out of all of them. I only took care of one of the major ponies in my way. That still leaves Twilight and Rainbow. But then again I don’t have to worry too much about Twilight. At least I know where she is at the moment but I haven’t seen Rainbow yet.” Starlight then puts away her list and makes her way to her next victim but stop when she hears something.

“I will save this delivery!” Derpy zoomed past starlight causing her to hold onto the ground least she be blown off her hooves.

Starlight looks at where the low flying object went. “What was that!”

“Depry come back!” Rainbow flow passes Starlight causing her to hang on again.

“What in Celestial name… Wait that was Rainbow. And the mare earlier must be the delivery pony! Why that sneaky, clever, troublemaker! She goes to get the cereal before it evens get to the stores! Well not unless I was anything to say about it." she pauses for a moment. "But what can I do without giving away my goals." she taps her chin before a lightbulb brightens over her head. "I got it.” Starlight then charges her horn and teleports aways into castle friendship. There she finds Twilight in the library read a book and hasn't noticed she has arrived. She gets in close to find out what she is read. 'Hum. How to find a stallion friend for eggheads. Oh, Twilight.'

*Ahem* "TWILIGHT"

*AH* Twilight then turns to face starlight while hiding the book behind her. "Starlight that was very rude. I was in the middle of very important research."

"Right. Anyways I thought you would like to know that Rainbow is trying to steal from the delivery pony."

"SHE WHAT?"

"I just saw her chasing the mare across town two minutes ago. If nopony does something soon. Just imagine what will happen to all those packages that she is carrying with her?"

"We have to stop her!" Twilight drop the book and left the library with Starlight. Before she goes too far. She came back and put the book on the shelf and then left the room again.

Mr. Filthy Rich store

Filthy Rich is waiting at the front of his store looking at the clock tower and nowhere in particular. "Where is that delivery Pony. They are going to be late." he then sees something closing in the distance. It was the delivery pony. he smiles satisfy that they are here. "Oh good they ar-"

"OPEN THE BACKLOADING AREA!" Derpy shouted at him.

Now, normally Mr. Rich would want to tell the mare a thing or two about manners. But notice he saw the small pack of ponies behind her. He didn't ask questions and rushed to the back.

"Derpy slow down. You are going to hurt somepony." Rainbow called out to her before she turned to a pony flying next to her. "And why are you all here?"

"Oh, we are here for the race."

"What race?"

"This one. The one we are doing now. We are on our way to the finish line on the other side of Pony Ville."

"Wait there is a race and nopony told me about it!"

"But I thought you were just going to meet us later. You now give us a head start. And- wait a second!" he and others stopped flying which cause Rainbow to look back at them.

"Wha-" *umph**CRASH* Rainbow didn't notice that Derpy stop for a moment and ran smack into her wagon. This cause Derpy to enter the backway of the store before the door was fully raised, making a hole in the lower of the door as an impression of the top of her wagon.

"Careful. And you will be paying for that."

"Sorry."
