Chapters Little Miss Tempest Tantraum
Chapter one: Tempest's Magic Surges
Fizzlepop groaned kicking about as she woke up, rubbing her eyes. She looked around seeing that she was in some sort of soft mat with a blue colored pen surrounding her. She looked up, seeing everything was bigger and Twilight was towering over her as she gulped. “Alright Tempest, I have to tell you something very important.”
Fizzlepop wanted to ask what happened and why was everything so big, when she put a hoof up and gasped as she touched her horn! It was there, short and stubby but she felt it with a hoof, and the mare looked up smiling at the alicorn. “Twily, ya did it! Ya gots my hown back!”
Twilight didn't say anything back, but gave her a concerned look and whispered. “Oh dear, you don’t know yet?”
Fizzlepop stopped as she noticed the crinkling noise, looked down and gasped at the small white poofy diaper with small clouds printed on the padding. She scowled and growled. “Why am I wearin a diapee?! Why ya so big?!”
Twilight gulped and whispered. “Look, I know you’re mad and scared. Let me bring a mirror and show you what happened.”
Fizzlepop nodded and Twilight floated a small mirror to Tempest, who gasped in fright at what she saw! She was a chubby little filly with big round cheeks, bright green eyes and a stubby horn protruding from her forehead. But she was amazed seeing that her scar was gone and her horn was there again, as if it had never left. It was a mix of gratefulness and anger at the fact of seeing herself in such a foalish state. She stood there, rubbing her horn with tears forming in her eyes as she babbled. “Tank ya, Twily.”
Twilight couldn’t quite understand what the little filly had said, but she knew that the little foal was more happy about getting her horn back then she was angry at the fact the rejuvenation spell had worked too well. She cooed. “Yes sweetie, your horn is back good as new. And I think this is just a small hiccup, I bet I’ll find a cure eventually.”
Fizzlepop looked up at Twilight with her happy little face and babbled excitedly, bouncing up and down in her diaper squealing! “My hown! I got my hown!” She rolled around adorably and Twilight’s heart melted like butter as she scooped the filly up and nuzzled her. “Oh, you’re just so adorable!” The filly giggled and squirm, making the diaper crinkle adorably as well.
Fizzlepop babbled and nuzzled Twilight’s nose. “Oh look at you all happy, most ponies would be scared or angry at turning into a foal, guess you’re more surprised about your horn,” Twilight commented. Fizzlepop nodded her head vigorously then she pouted starting at the diaper and patted it angrily. Twilight sighed. “Yeah, those diapers are a little embarrassing.”
Just then, Spike came by with a saddle bag full of foal stuff and dropped it off. “Oh come on, those diapers are perfect for little Tempest!”
Fizzlepop growled and wiggled her hooves at Spike when her horn lit up, shooting sparks at the dragon, poofing one of the cloud diapers over him, making the dragon squeak and land on his diapered bottom! This made Fizzlepop and Twilight both burst into laughter as Spike rolled around, trying to take the diaper off. “What in the hay did you do, Fizzlepop?!”
The filly sat down, pointed at her own diaper and babbled viciously at the dragon as he rolled his eyes. “Fine, I’ll get you normal diapers next time. Yeesh, so picky.”
Twilight lit up her horn un-taping the oversized diaper, and slid it off Spike’s rump. “Well, I guess that proves Fizzlepop’s horn works surprisingly well,” Fizzlepop bowed as Twilight took the spell book. “Now all that leaves is me to find out how to turn Fizzlepop back into a adult.”
Spike came over and picked the foal up and hugged her. “I guess we’re going to care for the little filly until you find a spell?” He asked.
Twilight sighed, looking at the diapers and foal stuff Spike bought. “I don’t really have a choice. Maybe I can ask Mr. and Mrs. Cake for some advice and help.”
Spike nodded while struggling with the squirming filly and nodded in agreement. “Yeah, sounds like a plan.”
Twilight smirked at him struggling with the antsy Fizzlepop. ”Oh, don’t worry Spike, this shouldn’t take long. Just keep a good eye on her.”
Fizzlepop eventually gave up and crossed her legs as she was taken downstairs and thought. “I'm sure Twilight will get me back to normal soon. Besides, as a baby ponies will like me a lot faster then when I was an adult. ”
Starlight Glimmer was scared as she climbed up the stairs and heard a strange suckling noise. She thought to herself. “What in the hay is that? I’ve never heard such a sound before. ” The mare continued to climb the stairs, and saw Spike walking down with a baby foal in his claws. Starlight giggled, “Oh who’s this lit-” then she gasped upon seeing the filly with her light purple coat and asked. “Spike, is that Fizzlepop?!”
The little dragon nodded as the filly squeaked and tried hiding her pudgy diaper with her hooves. Starlight dawwed, lighting up her horn and drifting the filly to her. “Oh, what happened? Did she try using magic or something?”
Spike sighed, shaking his head. “It’s more complicated than that. Twilight tried restoring Fizzlepop’s horn with a rejuvenation spell, and it clearly went wrong.”
Starlight gasped while holding the filly in her hooves. “Oh dear!” She held the little filly, who kicked about and put her forehooves over her face. Starlight then giggled. “Wow, look at that horn. Guess the spell worked at least,” Fizzlepop babbled angrily and Starlight smirked. “Hey Spike, you got formula and baby bottles, right?”
Spike sighed again. “Yes I do. Twilight gave me a long list of foal supplies, and I’m sure I bought everything.”
They went downstairs as the mare held the filly in the cradle of her hooves and Spike scampered off to get the foal formula. Starlight looked down at the little filly and cooed. “Hi sweetie, you remember me?”
Fizzlepop nodded and babbled incoherently, trying to say. “I know youw name is Stawwight Gwimmew!” But Starlight didn’t hear anything besides gurgles.
Starlight Glimmer giggled at Fizzlepop getting pouty and the mare thought. “I know a little game that Flurry Heart loves to play. ” She hid her face behind her hooves and Fizzlepop’s rolled her eyes as she thought. “There’s no way she could think this would amuse me.”
Then Starlight revealed her face, cooing. “Peek-a-boo!” This made Fizzlepop giggle and clap her tiny hooves. Starlight hid her face behind her forehooves again, giggling as she then shouted. “Peek a boo!” Fizzlepop squeaked and landed backwards on the couch, and the little cloud prints on the front of her diaper began to fade as the front turned a light yellow.
Starlight blushed. “Oh dear, I’m so sorry, Fizzlepop.” She picked up the tiny foal and placed her down on a changing mat.
Fizzlepop fidgeted about, trying to shout. “Hey! Dun ya dawe change me!”
But Starlight of course only heard babbling and proceeded in the diaper change, as Spike came walking in with a bottle filled with formula and blushed. “Oh, uh want me to wait?”
Starlight turned to the little dragon and replied. “Oh don’t worry, Spike, this won’t take more than a few seconds,” She then finished wiping the foal’s nether regions and whispered. “Now for the foal powder,” The mare proceeded with powdering the little filly’s rump, making her cough and sneeze a little. Starlight then took out another one of the cloud printed diapers and started taping it around the little filly’s rump. “Alright, we're almost done,” She then finished by taping the tabs firmly around the little filly’s rump, and patted the bottom of her diaper for good measure. “There, all nice and snug.” She then hoisted the foal up, and used her magic to lift the bottle and drifted it to Fizzlepop’s tiny mouth.
Fizzlepop shook her head and squirmed, but Starlight finally inserted the amber nipple into Fizzlepop’s mouth and the filly just began to suckle, blushing while thinking. “Wow this isn’t half bad. ”
Twilight finally came down to see Starlight Glimmer feeding Fizzzlepop, and smiled. “Oh wow, look at you, you’re a natural.”
Starlight laughed. “Well, Sunburst has been letting me help with Flurry Heart. Compared to her, Fizzlepop’s an angel.”
Then Fizzlepop felt a pang in her gut and her tiny horn flared up and shot a bolt of energy! It hit Starlight and the bottle went from Fizzlepop’s mouth into Starlight’s mouth! On top of that it was bigger, making Starlight fall down on the couch while suckling the formula. Twilight squealed as she pulled the bottle out and Starlight gasped for breath! “What in the hay was that?!”
Twilight shrugged. “I have no idea. She did something like that to Spike earlier, poofing a diaper onto him.”
Fizzlepop got scared and began wailing, so Starlight quickly scooped Fizzlepop up and hushed her. “Hey hey, it’s okay. No harm done,” Fizzlepop whimpered, touching her horn and babbling. Starlight cooed. “Oh it’s just a magic surge, looks like you get some strong ones.”
Twilight nodded as she gazed upon the oversized foal bottle. “Yeah, that’s a lot of raw power.”
Starlight put Fizzlepop over shoulder and patted her back until she burped before she asked Twilight. “How about I take Fizzlepop out and have her meet Ponyville as a baby? I mean, I can keep an eye on her while you try to find a way to turn her back into an adult.”
Twilight nodded at the idea. “Yeah, that sounds good. You go on and enjoy yourself.”
Starlight took the baby into a pink stroller and buckled her in, patting the diaper as she asked. “Uh, Spike, do you have anymore foal bottles?”
Spike smirked. “Of course, coming right up.” He grabbed the diaper bag and Starlight cooed. “Wow! Thanks, Spike, you really did get everything,” She then took out a pink pacifier and plopped it into Fizzlepop mouth. She suckled curiously at the rubber bulb and eventually got into a slow rhythm as Starlight cooed. “Okay, Twilight, we’ll be back in a few hours.”
Twilight sighed in relief, watching Starlight take the foal out with Spike. “Well, I’d better go find a cure before Fizzlepop gets another magic surge.”
An hour went by and Fizzlepop went from being the scariest pony in Ponyville, to the most adored pony in Ponyville. Ponies came by just to daww at her and some even asked who the filly was. Starlight was more than happy to say that the adorable foal was once the feared Tempest Shadow.
Fizzlepop was loving the attention, waving her hooves round and giggled loudly with every pony tickling her chubby tummy. By the time they reached Sugarcube Corner Pinkie Pie bounced over shouting. “Hey Starlight, where did..” Then she stopped and gasped in surprise at the baby Fizzlepop as she shouted! “DID THE SPA TURN FIZZLEPOP INTO A BABY?!”
Fizzlepop rolled her eye and Starlight shook her head and explained. “No, Pinkie Pie. Twilight just tried to restore Fizzlepop’s horn with a rejuvenation spell. Which it did, but it also turned her into a baby.”
Pinkie giggled, poking Fizzlepop’s diaper. “Wow, what a neat spell, guess she’s making tons of friends now, and looking so adorable,” Fizzlepop crossed her forelegs and spat her tongue out as Pinkie smirked. “Oh isn’t she a little miss ‘Tempest’ Tantrum. Maybe she should play with the Cake Twins so she can learn how to behave.”
Starlight smiled. “Oh, that sounds like a great idea. I’m sure she’ll love having playmates.”
The two mares lead Fizzlepop inside as she kicked about, whining. “No, dun wana pway with othew foaws! I a big fiwwy!”
Mrs. Cake came around the corner to investigate what all the commotion was about. “What in Equest-" She stopped mid sentence upon seeing the filly and gasped! “My goodness, Starlight, is that your foal?!”
Starlight blushed at the idea, and quickly corrected. “Oh no, this is little miss Temp- I mean Fizzlepop.”
Mrs. Cake blinked in surprise. “Oh, you mean that mean mare that enslaved Canterlot?” She then looked down and cooed. “Well I have to say, that's an adorable and fitting punishment for being such a naughty filly.”
Fizzlepop kicked about in frustration as Pinkie Pie explained. “Oh this isn't a punishment, more of a magical accident.”
Mrs. Cake giggled. “Oh really? Well I assume the little filly doesn’t have any friends?” She picked Fizzlepop up and hugged her while Fizzlepop squirmed around. “Oh, isn't she a little energetic filly,” She tickled her belly, making Fizzlepop gurgle and kick about. Mrs. Cake nuzzled her and cooed. “Alright, come on. I have two little foals who would love to meet you.”
Starlight giggled and turned to Pinkie Pie and asked. “So, while Mrs. Cake has fun, how about a cup of coffee and some cake?”
Pinkie Pie bounced off. “Oh, that sounds wonderful!”
Mrs. Cake set Fizzlepop down in a playpen with Pound and Pumpkin Cake as the little filly scrunched her diaper, as the Cake Twins smirked at her. Pound Cake babbled. “Hewwo, I Pound Cake.”
The filly continued. “I Pumpkin Cake!”
The foalfied mare gulped and explained. “Hewwo, my name is Fizzwepop, and I was a big mawe.”
The foals smirked and Pound Cake babbled. “Yeah wight, big ponies dun tuwn into foaws.”
Fizzlepop bounced on her diaper as she protested. “I was a big pony, and I just gots a hown!”
Pumpkin Cake babbled. “So? I gots a hown too.”
Fizzlepop babbled. “Yeah, bu my hown does coow stuff! I havin’ stwange magic suwges!”
Pumpkin Cake pouted and crossed her hooves. “Weww, I gots magic sugwes too. I poofed my whow cwib outside one time.”
Pound Cake nodded and giggled. “Yeah, I wememba tat. Mommy woke up that mowning to us sweeping outside, it was so funny!”
Fizzlepop turned to Mrs. Cake (who was watching them) and babbled. “Ya two watch tis, my hown can do supew coow stuff!” She scrunched her face as her horn lit up and blasted Mrs. Cake, who was poofed into a baby bouncer. She squeaked! “What in Equestria?!”
Pound and Pumpkin Cake both clapped as their mom struggled in the bouncer. Fizzlepop then turned to Pound and Pumpkin Cake, who were bouncing in excitement. “Do it again! Do it again!” Fizzlepop smirked and lit up her horn.
All of a sudden Pinkie Pie and Starlight Glimmer both hear loud explosions! And they both commented! “Uh oh!” Fearing the worst, they both ran upstairs to the nursery, where they saw Mrs. Cake in a baby bouncer, pouting as she suckled a pacifer and was shaking a giant rattle, with Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake climbing giant foam blocks, and Fizzlepop on the top, bouncing in glee.
Starlight groaned. “Fizzlepop!” She lit up her horn, poofed the baby bouncer away, and Mrs. Cake threw the rattle and spat out the pacifier. While Starlight shrank the foam blocks and Pinkie Pie caught the falling foals.
Mrs. Cake laughed nervously as she scratched the back of her neck. “Wow, what a magic surge.”
Starlight took Fizzlepop into her hooves and sighed. “I'm so sorry, Mrs. Cake. Fizzlepop has been having weird magic surges ever since she turned into a foal.”
Mrs. Cake laughed as she got up. “Oh it’s quite alright, dearie. Little Pumpkin here has done strange stuff with her magic too. This isn’t the first time I’ve been stuck in something foalish, there was this one time Pumpkin managed to glue me to a foal’s training potty.”
Starlight placed Fizzlepop on her back. “Well, I better get going and take Fizzlepop back before she does something like that, or somehow regresses somepony else.”
The Cake Twins started getting antsy babbling and reaching for Fizzlepop who blushed and Mrs. Cake dawed. “How about we go to Twilight’s and have the foals hang out while she’s looking for a cure? It’s been a while since the twins got to leave Sugarcube Corner.”
Starlight shrugged. “I guess that sounds alright. Hopefully the foals won’t get into to much trouble .”
The Cake Twins giggled and clapped as they headed to Twilight’s castle with their mommy, big sister, and their new friend Fizzlepop.
Little Miss Tempest Tantraum
Chapter Two: Tempest's Foal Castle
Tempest was now playing in her playpen with the Cake Twins as they babbled and stacked blocks together. Mrs. Cake was sitting down with Twilight, with a cup of tea in her hoof. The alicorn groaned, rubbing her horn, “I had no idea the rejuvenation spell would turn her into a foal! I mean, the spell was supposed to just fix her horn for crying out loud!”
Starlight Glimmer, who was near the playpen (helping the foals build the tower of blocks), looked up and asked. “Wait, are you saying that Tempest is going to stay as a foal?”
Twilight gulped. “Well, I mean there doesn’t even seem to be a spell that could transform Tempest into a adult, and I'm not sure what I did wrong! Nothing about the spell mentions age regression!” She started sobbing and Tempest looked up at Twilight and babbled. “Twily i..its otay.”
But of course Twilight couldn’t hear her, so instead Tempest crawled over, climbed onto the couch, and laid into Twilight, hugging her belly. Twilight stopped crying and sniffled, seeing Tempest hugging her and held the foal tight in her hooves. “I’m so sorry, I never meant for this to happen,” Twilight placed the filly down as she wiped her face. “Sorry, it's been a long day.”
Mrs. Cake cooed. “Oh dearie. Well maybe if there isn’t a cure, you could try raising Tempest yourself?”
Twilight shook her head as she gloated the filly back into the playpen. “I…I mean I wouldn’t mind that but I don’t know anything about caring for foals. Much less ones with so much raw power. “
Tempest looked back to the grown-ups, overhearing the conversation as she babbled. “I dun tink tat Twily is gonna be abwe ta change me back.”
Pumpkin Cake giggled as she bounced jn her diaper. “Oh wew, bein’ a foaw isn’ tat bad. Ya dun gots to wowwy about anyting, and just wet youw mommy and daddy cawe fow ya.”
Tempest teared up and whined. “But my mommy and daddy dun wove me! Tey onwy cawed about me getting’ in Cewestia’s schoow! Tat’s it!” She started wailing with her horn glowing!
Twilight squealed in horror! ”Tempest, stop!” But it was too late, her horn burst sending a wave of magic throughout the castle in a bright light!
Princess Cadence was pushing Flurry Heart in her stroller while giggling. “Oh, I can’t wait to tell Twilight that Flurry Heart was just enrolled in magic daycare!”
Shining Armor smirked. “If anything she’ll be like: ‘Hey, why didn’t you tell me?! I can teach her magic!’”
Cadence laughed. “Yeah, or like: ‘Give me a book on foals and magic surges, stat!’”
They then came upon Twilight’s castle and Shining knocked on the door. He heard loud giggling and asked. “Hey Twily! Ya home?!”
There was no answer. Cadence then pushed the door in and gasped upon seeing that the room was a padded purple. They found Starlight Glimmer playing with the blocks, stacking them, then knocking them over and clapping like a foal. Cadence wobbled across the padding and asked. ”Starlight, what’s going on?!”
Starlight just drooled and babbled mindlessly. “I wuv bwocks!” Cadence sighed, lifting the blocks with her horn away from Starlight, making her whine. “No wun bwocks!”
Cadence cooed. “Well, I'll give them back if you tell me where Twilight's at first.”
Starlight babbled. “Twily is upstaiws, now give me my bwocks!”
Cadence lifted the blocks back to Starlight who squealed and started stacking them again. She then wobbled back to her husband and sighed. “Alright, this looks like a giant magic surge. You take Flurry and stay outside.”
“Wait, you can’t go in there alone!” Shining protested. “You’ll need backup.”
Cadence just giggled. “Honey, there’s nothing to worry about. This is just a foal’s magic surge. We’ve dealt with that before.”
Shining blushed, looking around. “Sure does look like one. It was just like that one time we came home to find Sunburst in a crib, shaking a giant rattle.”
Cadence giggled, booping Flurry’s nose. “Okay, you behave while I find Auntie Twily. No flying off or magic blasts for Daddy, got it?”
Flurry giggled and bounced around as Cadence wobbled through the padded foyer.
After wobbling up a set of padded stairs she came upon Spike in a diaper, suckling a pacifier methodically. Cadence took the pacifier out, making him squirm as she cooed. “Tell me where Twilight is and you can have it back.”
Spike babbled. “She pwayin with ta fows in hew woom, now give me paci.” Cadence plopped the pacifier in his mouth and continued to wobble until she opened Twilight’s door, revealing an adorable scene of Twilight and Mrs. Cake in big poofy pink dresses bouncing with three little foals.
Cadence came over to the alicorn and shouted. “Twilight!”
Twilight squealed. “Oh Cady, ya hewe!" The enchanted purple alicorn ran over and started shaking her rump as she chanted, "Sunshine, sunshine, wadybugs awake! Cwap ya hooves and do a wittle shake!”
Cadence giggled, repeating the motions. “Okay, Twilight, settle down. Now who did all this?”
Twilight giggled, pointing at Tempest. “She did Cady! She wit hew horn and made evewyting big and bouncy!”
Cadence gasped upon seeing the little foal bouncing on her diapered rump on the floor! “Oh, I see!” Then she apologized. “Well sorry for making this adorable playdate short, but it’s time to put everything back to the way it belongs.”
The experienced foalsitter lit up her horn and the floor instantly turned back to crystal as Twilight and Mrs. Cake’s poofy dresses disappeared, and Spike squealed. “Hey, who put me back in a diaper?! I haven’t worn those since I was a hatchling!”
Twilight was groaning as she held Tempest in her hooves and Mrs. Cake was readying to leave with her twin toddlers. “I’m so sorry, Mrs. Cake. I had no idea how powerful Tempest’s magic surges could be.”
Mrs. Cake blushed. “Oh it’s fine, princess. Ordinarily I wouldn’t mind a bit of play time with my children, but I think I’ve had my fill of magic surges for one day,” Tempest wiggled her hooves, whining as Mrs. Cake turned and dawwed as she picked up the little purple foal. “Oh it’s alright, sweetie, it’s not your fault. You didn’t do this on purpose, I’m sure. But you’ve got to get that horn of yours under control,” She nuzzled the foal and turned to Cadence. “And thank you for helping us, dearie. Pound and Pumpkin Cake, this is Princess Cadence, Flurry Heart’s mommy.”
Cadence blushed. “Oh, I’ve heard of these two,” She came over, eyeing them. “From what I heard, they chased Flurry for breaking one of their toys.”
Mrs. Cake blushed back. “I apologize, they can be quite the rambunctious little foals sometimes.”
Cadence came down and blew a raspberry, making both foals squeal in laughter as she giggled. “Oh aren’t they precious? We need to set up more play dates together.”
Mrs. Cake giggled. “Yes, we definitely should, preferably with somepony to keep their magic surges under control. Between Flurry Heart and Pumpkin Cake, they could turn half of Equestria into foals if they really wanted to.”
Mrs. Cake then left the castle with her two foals as Tempest waved bye.
Shining Armor came upon the scene a moment later, convinced that the coast was clear. He turned to Twilight with Flurry in his hooves and asked. “So everything back to normal now, Twily?”
Twilight nodded as she explained. “Yesm everything is normal, Shining. Just an unexpected magic surge, no harm down.”
Meanwhile, Flurry gasped upon seeing the other foal, who blushed and waved a hoof. Shining Armor chuckled. “So who is the little one? Is she yours?”
Twilight sighed. “No. This is Fizzlepop Berrytwist, or Fizzlepop for short,” Both ponies blinked in confusion as Twilight sighed. “You know, Tempest.”
Cadence gasped in realization! “You mean Tempest Shadow?!”
Shining Armor frowned and narrowed his eyes. “Twilight, you’re actually letting her live with you?! Have you forgotten, she turned Cadence into a statue for crying out loud!”
Twilight sighed, this wasn’t the first time she’d had to justify her decision. “I didn’t forget, B.B.B.F.F, but trust me Fizzlepop is sorry for everything she’s done. In fact, she was trying to become a part of the community here.”
“You’re saying she was reformed?” Cadence raised an eyebrow. “This isn’t like Starlight Glimmer, Twilight.”
Twilight replied to Cadence. “Tempest stood up to the Storm King and played a big role in stopping him. She wanted her horn back so it would be easier to get ponies to warm up to her, which caused her to turn into a baby! Only now, she’s having insane magic surges!”
Cadence blushed, seeing the little filly rubbing her horn and in spite of herself she dawwed. “Oh, is this really that little meanie Tempest? How could I be so hard on such a cute face?” She lifted her and nuzzled the filly, who squirmed in Cadence’s magic. Cadence booped the filly’s nose and turned to Shining, still eyeing the filly. “Oh come on, Shining, she’s just a baby. She’s no harm to anypony anymore, and I doubt she could take over Equestria in her current state.” She floated the filly to Shining.
Shining sighed, hugging Tempest with his right front leg and watching her nuzzle his fur. He blushed. “Alright, I suppose she’s adorable. But I’m still unsure of her playing with Flurry Heart. Remember what happened with the Cake Twins?”
Cadence rolled her eyes. “Flurry Heart was only trying to help. Let the little ones play in the playpen for a few minutes, Spike and Starlight can watch them and make sure they behave. Besides, I have a proposal for Twilight. One that I think will make her life easier.”
Cadence was now sitting down with Shining and Twilight as she explained. “Shining and I enrolled Flurry Heart in a special daycare to help young unicorn foals, or in my case a baby alicorn, in learning to control their magic surges. So how about you enroll Tempest?”
Twilight sighed. “I know about that, my mom took me there when I was very little. Apparently my surges were ten times worse than Shining’s. But aren’t those sessions in Canterlot?”
Shining nodded. “Yes, but Flurry’s surges have been getting really bad lately. And for the safety of all, we decided to stay with Mom until Flurry has them under control. The sessions start next week, but it’s not too late to sign up.”
Twilight groaned. “But I also have a lot of other things going on here in Ponyville. I can’t just go to Canterlot right now, let alone take Tempest there.”
Cadence turned to Shining, giving him a pleading look. But he shook his head. “Absolutely not. She may be just a foal now, but she still turned you into stone. It’s way too soon.”
Cadence rolled her eyes. “You were just like this with Thorax, and look how he turned out. Besides, this could be just what Tempest needs to learn how to be good.”
Twilight was confused and asked. “Wait, what is it that you're proposing, Cadence?”
Cadence turned towards Twilight and explained. “How about you let Shining and I care for Tempest? She’ll also be with your parents, Twilight, it’ll be perfect.”
Shining stomped a hoof. “No way am I having you be alone with her, Cadence! I won’t allow it! How do we know for sure that she actually turned good? What if this has all been a ruse? She may be a foal, but with how powerful her magic surges are she’s a danger that must be contained! Besides, I don’t want Flurry Heart learning any bad habits from her!”
Tempest was currently sitting down with Flurry Heart in her playpen, the baby alicron pouting with her hooves crossed. “So ya the poopie head who tuwn my mommy into stone?”
Tempest gulped. “Yh..y..yeah..bu I changed! I dun do mean stuff any mowe, I pwomice. I just wanted my hown back, tat meanie Stowm King twicked me!”
Flurry Heart looked her playmate down, examining her closely. “Wew Auntie Twily wuvs ya, so I guess it’s twue wha ya say,” She commented. “Bu, ya gots to make it up to my mommy and daddy, pwove ya not a meanie pants.”
Tempest smiled. “Yeah, otay! I can do tat.” She tapped a hoof to her chin. “But wha I gonna do?”
Flurry babbled. “Wew sometimes when I do someting naughty, I twy making a pictua fow Mommy and Daddy. How about ya do tat too?”
Tempest clapped her hooves. “Tat sounds good! Twily gots quills and papew upstaiuws.”
Flurry gasped in delight! “Gweat, wets go!” Flurry flew Tempest up and over the playpen as Cadence and Shining Armor were busy arguing.
The two foals crawled up the steps to see Starlight with Spike, the dragon groaning. “Ugh, what does Tempest keep putting me in diapers for? Does she enjoy it or something?”
Starlight giggled. “Maybe it’s because you’re a baby dragon?”
Having overheard this, Flurry giggled and babbled. “Ya put Uncwe Spikey in diapees?!”
“Yeah, bu it was my magic sugwes. I dun mean fow tem to happen,” Tempest whimpered as she rubbed her horn, then added. “I tink Mws. Cake hates me now cause I a bad fiwwy.” She starts tearing up, making Flurry babble as they continued. “Hey, is otay, I gots cwazy magic suges too. Wike one time I put Mw. Sunbuwst in a cwib and I even pu a diapee on Daddy. He wooked so siwwy!”
Tempest gasped in surprise. “Wait, weawwy?!”
Flurry nodded. “Yeah, so dun wowwie. Besides, I dun know why big ponies dun weaw diapees, instead they use scawy potties.”
Flurry shivered as Tempest giggled. “Ya scawed of potties?”
Flurry reluctantly confessed. “Yeah, cause tey make a scawy fwushing noise, wike a monstew!”
Tempest babbled. “Dun wowwie, is not a monstew, tey not wike Stowm King. I suwe ya Mommy and Daddy wiw teach ya ta use ta potty someday, and you’ww see is noting to be scawed of. Or I’ww pwove to ya when I get a chance.”
They then went into Twilight’s room and Flurry flew Tempest up to Twilight’s desk. Flurry babbled. “Quiwws and bowin papew? Yuck! Whews ta cwayons and cowowed papaew?!”
Tempest groaned as her horn sparkled to life and shot the desk, turning the quills into a box of crayons, the pots of ink into jars of hoof paint, and the scrolls into sheets of colored construction paper. Tempest gasped in excitement! “My powew tuwn tings into tings fow foaws!”
Flurry Heart was amazed and babbled. “Tat so coow! Wew, wha ya waiting fow? Wets make awt!” Flurry then spilled the foal paint and started smearing it on a pink sheet of construction paper, as Tempest got crayons out and started making a letter with a blue crayon.
As Shining and Cadence argued, Twilight heard giggling and something go splat. She turned to the playpen, gasping when she noticed an absence of its occupants! “Where are the foals?!”
They all look around but found no trace of them! Shining roared! “I knew Tempest was trouble, she must’ve foalnapped Flurry while we were distracted!”
Cadence rolled her eyes. “Dear, she’s a foal now too. I doubt they could’ve gotten far.” And they all went upstairs to Twilight’s room to investigate the splat noise. That was where they found Flurry Heart playing with foal paint, and Tempest doodling. The foals looked up and Tempest gulped showing her picture.
Cadence gasped upon seeing a little purple foal hugging a white coated stallion and a pink alicorn with the words: “I Sowwie” scribbled foalishly.
Cadence blushed, coming over and hugging Tempest. “I accept your apology.”
Even Shining blushed and sighed. “Well, can’t argue with a foal’s drawing. At least it’s better than chocolate hoof prints, or the time I caught Flurry tangled up in toilet paper,” Shining took Tempest and nuzzled her. “Alright, I guess we’ll watch her while she’s at magic daycare. But make no mistake, I’m keeping my eye on her.”
Twilight sighed in relief, but then groaned upon seeing her desk in its foalish state. “Great. Well, I’m glad that’s over with, but these two just turned my desk into an arts and crafts table. It’s gonna take forever to change it back, even with Starlight’s help.”
Flurry blushed, holding up a paper with smeared, multi colored hoof prints. Shining and Cadence dawwed and nuzzled Flurry, as Twilight rolled her eyes.
A little later, Twilight packed little Tempest a pink diaper bag, while the little filly was in her playpen, hugging a bunny plushie. “Now Tempest, you be a good filly for Cady, Shiny, and my mom. Got it?”
Tempest nodded and babbled. “I pwomice, Twiwy. And I sowie fow messin with ya study stuff, I twyin to show I not a meanie, and I twyin to be a good fiwwy.”
Twilight picked up the little foal within her magic and she took the little filly into her hooves. She didn’t hear the babble, but she knew what Tempest was trying to say. “Oh, I forgive you, sweetie,” She then booped her horn. “Just try to control those magic surges, okay?”
Tempest nodded. “Otay, I wun do tem on puwpose anymowe. I pwomice.”
Twilight then drifted Tempest to Cadence who buckled the filly next to Flurry Heart. “Alright sweetie, there you go.”
Tempest whimpered but Cadence plopped a purple pacifier in her mouth. “There, just suckle on that, that should calm you down.”
Tempest blushed, feeling more calm while suckling on the pacifier. Cadence looked up and smiled. “Alright, Twilight, we’ll give you reports on Tempest’s behavior and progress.”
Twilight sighed. “Okay, and thanks for doing this, Cadence,” She hugged her former foalsitter, then turned to Shining. “And thank you too, B.B.B.F.F.”
Twilight hugged him and Shining smirked, ruffling his sister’s mane. “You owe us big for this, Twily. I expect at least a few weeks of foalsitting.”
Twilight laughed. “You got it, I’m sure Flurry will love spending time with her Auntie Twily.” She then waved goodbye as Cadence and Shining headed out the door.
Little Miss Tempest Tantraum
Chapter three: Daddy Shiny
A few hours after Cadence and Shining (along with the foals left) Twilight’s castle, they were now in The Friendship Express that was rolling down the tracks towards Canterlot. Fizzlepop was now snuggling into Cadence, who was holding both her and Flurry Heart close to her chest. Tempest was playing with Flurry Heart as the little purple unicorn had a big brown teddy, and Flurry had her trusty snail plushie, Whammy. Tempest eyed the snail and babbled. “So, Whammy, does she need a diapee? She a baby too, wight?”
Flurry shook her head. “No, Whammy is a big snaiw, dun need diapees.”
Tempest took out a plush teddy bear. “Wew I tink he needs a diapee, Teddy is a baby.”
Flurry giggled and pointed out. “Ya need ta name tat teddy, ya can’t just caw him Teddy.”
Tempest held her plushie out and babbled. “Uh how about b-” The train then went over a bump and she accidently babbled. “Baba.”
Cadence dawwed and snuggled the filly. “Oh, she called her teddy bear Baba.”
Tempest squealed, kicking about in her diaper at the sudden snuggle.
Shining Armor blushed, looking at his wife as she put the chubby filly down. He sighed. “Alright, I admit it. She’s adorable.”
Cadence patted Tempest’s diaper and cooed. “Are you sure she isn’t going to take over Equestria? She might just be pretending to drool and go potty in her diapers.”
Shining shook his head, blushing in embarrassment that he ever thought a foal could be evil. Meanwhile, the two foals resumed bouncing their plushies around and Cadence commented. “Isn’t she so wonderful with Flurry Heart? I’ve never seen two foals play for this long.”
Shining nodded in agreement, seeing Flurry taking Fizzlepop’s teddy and one of her clean diapers and started to tape the padding around the plushie. Shining chuckled at the sight. “Yeah, it’s nice to see Flurry playing with other foals and being nice to them.”
Cadence nodded as Fizzlepop lifted her teddy, bouncing him around in a diaper. The foals played for so long that when Fizzlepop was pretending that her teddy being fussy, Flurry was having her Whammy trying to change the teddy’s diaper.
Cadence, seeing an opportunity to see if the foals need a diaper change, casually took a hoof and pulled the seam of Fizzlepop’s diaper back. The filly squeaked as the motherly alicorn cooed. “Sorry, sweetie, just a diaper check.”
Tempest gazed up at the pink alicorn with a puzzled look as Cadence explained. “Auntie Cady needs to be sure your diaper is clean, so I’ll check it once in a while. Right now you’re only a little wet, sweetheart. We can change you later.”
Flurry Heart giggled and Fizzlepop turned away, blushing at how she didn’t even noticed she’d peed.
Cadence then used her magic to lift her daughter into her hooves, pulled the seam of her diaper back, and exclaimed. “Look, you’re all clean!” She then laid Flurry down and started blowing raspberries into her tummy, making the filly squeal and kick about. Cadence nuzzled Flurry. “Oh, you’re just my sweet little princess. Yes you are, yes you are.”
Tempest looked up and made grabby hooves, realizing she wanted some attention too. Shining lifted Tempest and plopped her into his lap. “Oh, you are just a little cutie, aren't you?” She blushed, lifted her tiny hooves into the air, and babbled adorably. Shining couldn’t help but sigh, seeing the once evil mare that had enslaved Canterlot was now just a babbling foal, drooling and loving the attention Shining gave her. He hugged Fizzlepop and blushed seeing Cadence eye him. He rolled his eyes and conceded. “Okay, you’re right, honey. She’s just an innocent baby now.”
Cadence smirked at Shining. “Told you, Mister Overprotective. Now, want to feed the destroyer of worlds a bottle?”
Shining rolled his eyes again. “Okay, Cadence, you made your point,” He then patted Tempest’s diaper, making it crinkle as he asked. “Want a baba?”
The filly nodded her head, feeling her tummy grumble. Cadence then took out a glass bottle already filled with water, as she stirred in some formula and shook it up. Fizzlepop drooled a little seeing the mixture froth and bubble. Cadence drifted the bottle to Shining and he held it to Fizzlepop’s mouth as she naturally began to suckle.
Cadence dawwed. “Look at her go, what a natural.”
Fizzlepop did blush a little but just relaxed, feeling sleepy as she snuggled deep into Shining’s fur. Cadence then made a bottle for Flurry and plopped it into her mouth and soon the only sound that could be heard was the gently suckling from the foals as they drifted off into a deep sleep.
Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop both woke up a few hours later, strapped into a stroller together. Fizzlepop squealed. “Wha happened, whewe’s ta twain?!”
Flurry giggled. “We swept thwough ta whowe wide, siwwy.”
Fizzlepop rubbed her eyes. “No way! Why did I get so sweepy tough?”
Flurry giggled as she explained. ”Why ya tink? Ya a foa,w we gots to takes nappy once in a whiwe, ow ya can get vewy cwanky.”
Fizzlepop pouted and crossed her hooves. ”I dun get cwanky!”
Cadence then cooed. “Oh, sounds like Fizzlepop didn’t get enough sleep,” The filly looked up to see Cadence’s smiling face. “Hey sweetie, you still tired?”
Fizzlepop shook her head and whined. “No, nah tiwed!”
Cadence then popped a pink pacifier into Fizzlepop’s mouth as she blushed, suckling, as the mare then lifted the teddy bear plushie with her magic. “And here’s your baba, sweetheart.” She slowly placed the plush in Fizzlepop’s hooves who snuggled it while suckling her pacifer.
Shining shook his head. “You have some sort of magic, Cadence. Foals just calm down the second you’re around them.”
Cadence lightly scoffed. “Oh please. It’s just luck, really.”
Flurry giggled and poked Fizzlepop’s chubby belly. “Ya a cwanky baby! Ya a cwanky baby!”
Fizzlepop giggled, kicking about. “Stop it, tat tickwes!”
The foals were now poking and laughing, when they finally arrived at a house.
Shining gulped and shuffled nervously, he knew what this place was and he didn’t like it.
Cadence laughed. “Oh what, you scared of your mom?”
Shining just groaned. “No, but ever since Flurry was born she keeps telling embarrassing stories about when I was a foal every time I come to visit.”
Cadence giggled. “Oh my. Well it’s too late to turn back now!” She then knocked on the door.
They didn't have to wait long, as Twilight Velvet opened the door and squealed. “Oh my gosh! Shining, Cadence!” She lifted both babies into her hooves and smothered them in kisses. “You-are-so adorable, little ones!” Both foals kicked about and babbled happily at all the attention. Twilight Velvet then giggled, patting their diapers. “Oops, sorry. I might of made them pee.”
Cadence laughed taking the foals onto her back. “Oh, it’s alright, Velvet. From the looks of it, those diapers can hold a lot more. I decided to upgrade, seeing it was better to buy a more absorbent brand.”
Twilight Velvet laughed. “Oh, I bet Flurry gets that from Shining. He used to be quite the soaker himself. When he was a foal I would have to make him wear two nighttime diapers every night, or he would soak his crib.”
Shining groaned, slamming a hoof to his face. “Mom!”
Twilight Velvet then turned to Fizzlepop and cooed. “Oh, and this must be Fizzlepop, Twilight already sent me a letter explaining the situation. My goodness, she’s adorable.”
Cadence sighed in relief. “That’s great. I just hope you don’t mind having two foals running around.”
Twilight Velvet laughed. “Are you kidding me?! I have been dreaming of two foals running around these halls again for so long. Now come on, don’t be shy. I have a playpen already set up for the two cutie pies.”
Cadence strode in with Shining grumbling, following close behind. The pink alicorn lowered the foals into the playpen. It was filled with blocks and toys. They began crawling around, exploring, as the adults all sat down on a couch. Cadence smiled at the bright blue playpen and asked. “So, is this something you bought recently?”
Twilight Velvet giggled as she waved a hoof. “No, I actually kept this. When Shining was a baby, he would always try to to find a way to escape from it. Sometimes I would catch him climbing over it but getting his diaper snagged. I’d find him running away with his diaper plopped over the railing. And the best part was, he’d never even notice he didn’t have a diaper on.”
Shining’s face was so red Cadence could feel the steam coming off it. But she still cooed. “Oh Shiny, looks like you are the reason Flurry is so rambunctious.”
Shining meeped in embarrassment. “Sure, maybe. But Mom, are you just going to embarass me all day? Because if so, I think I’m gonna leave.”
Even Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop looked up wanting to hear more embarrassing stories about Shining. But just then, Night Light came in with a bottle of soda, smiling. “Oh hey, you guys are here!”
He placed the soda bottle on the coffee table, lifted the two little ones in his magic and snuggled the foals. “Oh just look at you two all bright and happy,” Flurry babbled and touched his face as he giggled. “Yes, I’m your grandpa. Can you say, grandpa?”
Flurry babbled. “Abbababa.” Everypony dawwed as Tempest tried to say Grandpa too but also babbled. “Abbababa.”
They all giggled and Night Light nuzzled Fizzlepop as well. “Yes, you can call me grandpa too. As far as I’m concerned, you’re already adopted by Twilight.”
Shining laughed. “Please, I doubt she’ll have time for changing diapers.”
Twilight Velvet nuzzled Shining. “That's what your father said about me when I was pregnant with you.”
Cadence dawwed again and Shining just sighed as he thought. “Great , here comes the mushy stuff again. ”
Night Light laughed, placing the foals back in the playpen. “She's right you know. I didn’t think we were ready for foals after learning we were going to have one. But even with how rambunctious you were, we couldn't have asked for a better colt. You were so full of energy, but you hardly ever got into trouble, unlike your sister.”
Twilight Velvet cooed. “Ooh, and he was so good with potty training. I will never forget how while I was writing my stories, he would pop into my room and shout proudly. ‘I went potty!’ Sometimes with his diaper still pulled down to his ankles.”
They all laughed, and Shining sunk into the couch unsure of how much more he could take. Twilight Velvet smirked at her son. “Okay, I think I’ve embarrassed Shining enough for one day. Now, I was hoping we would all go out together to buy foal supplies.”
Cadence jumped up with excitement. “Oh, that does sound lovely!” Then she added. “But somepony needs to stay and watch the little ones. I don’t want them getting into trouble, Flurry Heart especially.”
Night Light came up and suggested. “I can do it, I wouldn’t mind watching them. It’ll be nice to have some little ones around the house again.”
But Shining got up and insisted. “No you all can go, I’ll watch the foals.”
Twilight Velvet eyed him. “You sure you want to do that, Shining?”
Shining nodded rapidly. ”Yeah, I’m just tired from the train trip is all.” But in the back of his mind he thought. “I need a break from my embarrassing adventures as a foal. I don’t need Mom telling everypony about my diaper dance. ”
Cadence got up, smooched Shining, and cooed. “Okay, darling. I'll leave you the diaper bag. I'm sure I don’t have to explain to you how to care for foals.”
Shining laughed. “You kidding? Of course I don’t. Don’t worry about me, you all just go and have fun.”
Twilight Velvet smirked. “Alright, Daddy Shiny. You behave, and I'll bring you back some pizza.”
Shining scoffed and playfully whined. “Mom, I’m not a colt!”
Twilight Velvet nuzzled him. “I know, sorry. I’ll try not to do that too much. It’s just, seeing you with the foals, it brings back so many memories.”
Night Light smirked. “Alright, Daddy, just don’t burn down the house.” And then the group left with Shining collapsing onto the couch, giving an exasperated sigh. “Finally. I thought I was going to die of embarrassment,” He then looked down at the foals and eyed them. “You two better behave for Daddy. I’m in no mood for games.”
But Flurry babbled to Fizzlepop. “Hey, Fizzlepop, wana pway: ‘Who can’t get caught by Daddy’?”
Fizzlepop blushed. “Bu he said we bettew behave, and I was being a good foaw on ta twain and stuff.”
Flurry crossed her forehooves. “Come on, Fizzwepop. I do this aw ta time, and Daddy woves me vewy much.”
Fizzlepop blushed and babbled. “Awight, but no cwazy magic ow anythin’.”
Flurry lit her horn and the two poofed outside of the playpen as Shining got up. “Oh no! Flurry Heart, bad filly! You and Fizzlepop get back in the playpen right...” But before he could finish, they ran off giggling and babbling. Shining ran after them, smirking. “Oh, I see you two want to play tag! Fine, let’s play! I’ll have you two back in the playpen in no time!”
Shining chased them around for an hour with no success. Panting and wheezing, he collapsed on the floor.
Flurry and Fizzlepop peeked out from the corner. The little alicorn sighed. “Oh, we bettew stop. Wooks wike Daddy is done.”
Fizzlepop whined. ”No faiw, we wew havin so much fun.”
Flurry sighed. “Yeah, bu Daddy wooks wike he couwd use a bweak.”
Fizzlepop groaned but followed Flurry as they both crawled to Shining and nuzzled him. He smirked and hugged him close to his chest. “Oh, you won’t get away this time,” He then headed over to the couch and sat down with the foals. “Alright, how about we have story time?”
Flurry rolled her eyes as Tempest asked. “Wha does he mean by tat?”
Flurry crossed her forelegs as she pouted. “He onwy says tat so he dun have to pway with us, but I guess we dun got a choice.”
Shining then plopped pink pacifiers in the foals mouths and took out a story book. “Alright, no more talking. Just pay attention to Daddy’s story: A long time ago, in a castle far far away…”
After about an hour, both foals were content snuggling into Shining. But then they both noticed that the prince was asleep, snoring softly. Flurry gave him a sweet look and dawwed. “Aww, wooks wilke Daddy is tiwed. Wets hewp him go to sweepies.”
Fizzlepop nodded bouncing on her (now slightly yellow) diaper. “Yeah, he does woked twied. We bettew hewp him, bu how?”
Flurry babbled. “Wew fiwst, he needs a pwushie.”
Fizzlepop grunted lighting up her horn and floated her teddy into Shining’s hooves who snuggled the teddy bear while mumbling. “Brutus Force.”
Flurry paused and poked her diaper, seeing it was slightly yellow as well as she babbled, “Ya know, I neva undewstood why awdus dun wike diapees. Tey weawwy comfy and keep ya fwom making messies on ta fwoor. Pwus, ya dun have to use that scawy big potty.”
Fizzlepop blushed. “Ya not suggesting ta we put a diapee on ya daddy? Tat cowd get us in big twowbe.”
Flurry shook her head. “No. Besides, I dun know if thewes a diapee his size. He wowd need extwa lawge, and Mommy onwy buys me me-me-medwums,” Then Flurry Heart turned to the curtains and babbled. “Bu we can make somthin wike a blankie just to hewp Daddy sweep,” She crawled over and with her magic tugged the curtains from the window, then waddled over to Shining and called. “Fizzwepop, I need ya hewp”
Fizzlepop grunted, doing as Flurry said as she clumsy threw the sheets over Shining and babbled. “Otay, dun!” Then Fizzlepop smirked thinking. “Let’s do one more thing! ” She turned to one of the foal bottles and asked Flurry. “How about we put somthin in Daddy’s mouth to ..uh..hewp him sweep?”
Flurry giggled. “Sounds wike a gweat idea! But owa babas awe too smaww fow him.”
Tempest picked up a open soda bottle on the coffee table and took it with her magic. “Wew, this can wowk. Soda is fow gwown ups.” She smirked and grunted as she took a rubber nipple and plopped it over the top of the soda bottle, then slowly plopped into Shining’s mouth. He suckled the soda. Then Flurry’s horn began to glow and she sneezed, shooting a beam of magic at her dad. It poofed the curtain into a giant blue foal blanket, the teddy grew a few feet, and the soda bottle was now a big foal bottle.
Fizzlepop gasped! “Flurry, tat was awesome!”
Flurry blushed. “Uh...I didn’ mean ta do tat. Daddy is gonna be so mad when.he wakes up.””
Fizzlepop waddled over and snuggled into Shining. “Well nothin ya can do now. We bettew just wait fow Mommy to come and fix it.”
Flurry followed, snuggled next to Fizzlepop, and hugged her. “Ya my bestest fwiend evew, Fizzwepop.”
Fizzlepop blushed and babbled. “Wew, tanks, guess ya my fwiend too. But why do ya tink we gots these weiwd magic sugwes?”
Flurry shrugged. “I dun know, maybe is a foaw ting tat ya gwow out of?”
Twilight Velvet and Cadence were both coming back from their trip, with shopping bags filled with foal supplies, as Twilight Velvet cooed. “Oh, this reminds me of when I was pregnant with Shining. You see, I had no idea what a foal needed and spent hundreds of bits on tons of foal supplies.”
Cadence blushed. “Yeah, I know that feeling. We definitely stocked up on too much diapers. In fact, we accidently gave Twilight a few dozen diaper packages.”
Twilight Velvet burst into laughter. “Oh dear! Well maybe they’ll come in handy for Fizzlepop. I mean, from Twilight’s letter, it sounds like Fizzlepop’s going to be a foal for sometime.”
Cadence shrugged. “Who knows? But deciding to adopt out of the blue is a lot of responsibility. And Twilight may not be ready for a foal.”
Then they both strode through the door to see Shining Armor snuggled under big a blue blanket with the two fillies. He was suckling on a giant foal bottle filled with soda while hugging a oversized teddy.
Twilight Velvet laughed. “Oh my, are you sure Shining is ready too?”
Cadence rolled her eyes as her husband woke up under the blankets, spat out the bottle, and gasped! “Cadence! I...I have no idea what’s going on!”
The pink coated alicorn laughed. “I think it looks like the foals were foalsitting you.”
Shining sighed, seeing the fillies nuzzled against him. And Twilight Velvet waved a hoof. “Oh, don’t worry about it, dear. You just sit tight while I fix dinner.”
Cadence came over and patted Shiny’s tummy. “Need anything, sweetie?” She playfully teased.
Shining smirked at his wife. “Just don’t put a diaper on me.”
The princess giggled, then whispered. “Okay, but you did look cute in a diaper that one time.”
Shining chuckled. “Yeah, I remember that morning. You were the one who heard the weird crinklingnoise, and found Flurry clapping as she had successfully taped me in one of her blue diapers.”
Cadence laughed, before turning to the foals. “That was adorable, but these magic surges are getting out of control. While we were out, I enrolled Tempest into magic daycare. They start classes tomorrow.”
Shining nodded in agreement and looked over at the sleeping fillies. ”Right. The sooner these two get control of their magic surges, the better.”

Chapter Four: First Day of Magic Daycare
Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop were both sleeping soundly in Shining’s old crib. It was rather big and had been painted a baby blue.
Fizzlepop whimpered while kicking about, tossing and turning as she was having a nightmare of the Storm King and all his minions laughing at her in diapers. Fizzlepop squeaked feeling a rush of pee rush filling up her diaper. She whimpered, not knowing what else to do but cry and began wailing and squealing. Twilight Velvet instantly picked her up, cooing. “Oh, what is it sweetie? Bad dream?”
Fizzlepop while sniffling, nodded and babbled about her nightmare.Twilight Velvet instantly pat the soggy diaper. “What a soggy little foal. Better get your rump changed before you get a nasty rash.“ She laid Fizzlepop on the changing table and began the diaper change as fast as she could. Fizzlepop squirmed about. but Twilight Velvet’s experiences with her own children flooded back in an instant. The change was relatively quick. Then Velvet picked up the little foal and patted the new diaper. “All clean, sweetheart.”
Fizzlepop tearing up, clinging to Twilight Velvet with a tight grip as the old mare sat down and let Fizzlepop lay in her hooves. “Are you all better?”
Fizzlepop nodded her head and rubbed her horn. Twilight Velvet had flashbacks of how Twilight would do the same as a foal. And she instinctively asked. ”Your horn hurting, sweetie?” Fizzlepop nodded as Twilight Velvet got out some cream and started rubbing it around the horn while she cooed. “You’re having a horn ache. It happens every so often, seeing as its growing again and seeing that you must have a lot of raw energy.”
Fizzlepop was already feeling the effects of the cream, and smiled as she rubbed her horn and the pain faded. Twilight Velvet then got out a warm bottle of milk and plucked it into the foal’s mouth and let her gently suckle. Fizzlepop was enthralled by sucking on her formula.
Just then, Flurry woke up, wailing. Cadence came in, taking the baby alicorn into her hooves as she cooed. “Oh my, what’s wrong?” But she needn't have asked, she smelt the source of distress right away. She set the foal down and started changing her. Then Twilight Velvet drifted a bottle to Cadence as she sat down next to Twilight Velvet and whispered, “Thanks.”
They both held their respective foals together, letting the fillies suckle as Twilight Velvet then asked. “So Cadence, you think you’ll have more then one foal?
Cadence laughed. “No, at least not right now. Flurry Heart is such a hoofful, I wouldn’t know what to do with two. Especially since I haven’t even potty trained her yet, oh what a ‘joy’ that’ll be.”
Twilight Velvet laughed. “If you need some tips for that, just ask me. I’ll tell you one thing, don’t teach them about the toilet and then trust them to pick up the rest on their own. When I tried that with Shining Armor, it ended very poorly,” Then she added. “And trust me, Flurry needs a sister or a brother. I think foals need sibling, it helps them develop. Heck Twily and Shiny were inseparable when they were younger. They got into all kinds of trouble too.”
Cadence looked at Fizzlepop, cooing and kicking about as she suckled her bottle. She then whispered. “Well…so far Fizzlepop has been quite a good foal despite her magic surges. So maybe...just maybe…”
Twilight Velvet turned. “Oh, well don’t worry about it right now. If anything, I’m sure we can find Fizzlepop’s real parents.”
Cadence nodded. “Good idea, we’ll see if we can get in contact with them. It’s only fair they get a say in their daughter’s development.”
Fizzlepop whimpered, shaking her head. “No, I dun wana go back to my mommy and daddy.” She started to whimper and kick about. She didn’t have a lot of good memories of her parents, not even as a foal.
Twilight Velvet lifted the fussy Fizzlepop and patted her on the back until she burped and spat up a little. “Oh, just look at her, she’s such a little angel. Just like Shining when he was a little one. Now, how about we get some foal food in their tummies, and then we have them set off for magic daycare?”
Cadence sighed in relief. That sounds like a wonderful idea.”
After the two foals were fed a healthy breakfast of oatmeal they were tucked into a two seated stroller.
Shining yawned, having just got up as he came down the hall. “So, are our little foals ready for school?”
They both bounced up and down in excitement as Cadence giggled. “Just look at them, all cheery despite getting up at the four in the morning.”
Shining blinked in surprise. “Wow, really?! What happened?”
Twilight Velvet sighed. “Little Fizzlepop was really agitated this morning, I’m betting from her super soggy diaper and horn ache. And it must’ve woken Flurry up as well. But we got them changed and fed, and now they’re ready to go”
Shining nodded and waved goodbye. “Okay, little ones, have a nice day at school. And be nice to the other foals.”
The foals were then pushed out the door and onto the streets. Ponies left and right dawwed at the two and waved at them. Even the nobles awwed every time they went past them.
At last they came upon a small, baby blue colored brick building with a sign overhead that read: “Rebecca Pie’s Magic Daycare” In the front was a unicorn mare wearing big round glasses. She was rather chubby with a light grey curly mane and a dark grey coat, with a stubby horn shooting sparks for a cutie mark, and eyes a soft, faded blue in color. She turned to the mare and cooed. “Oh Twilight Velvet, it’s been so long!”
Twilight Velvet ran over and hugged the mare. “Oh Rebecca Pie, it’s wonderful to see you again.”
They talked for awhile about Twilight and how grown up she was. Then the mare turned to the foals. “Oh hello, these must be the little ones you wrote to me about yesterday. Princess Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop!” She tickled Fizzlepop, making her giggle while kicking her back legs. Rebecca smirked. “Can’t believe this adorable foal was that evil Fizzlepop. Or Tempest as I suppose she was calling herself back then.”
Cadence laughed. “You should’ve seen her at breakfast, she was smearing oatmeal all over her face.”
They burst into laughter as Fizzlepop blushed and placed the foal blanket over herself, receiving a few dawws.
Rebecca cooed. “Oh, isn’t she just precious? Well i’ll take the two foals from here.” She lifted them up and led the foals into the main room as Velvet and Cadence followed them inside. The foals were now in a large nuresery with rainbows on baby blue colored walls, with a big pink rug in the center, with little unicorn foals wandering around, playing with the toys thrown all over.
Cadence smiled. “How do you care for so many volatile foals?”
The mare replied. “It’s simple. These walls have magicate in them, limiting magic of all the little ones.”
”It won’t hurt them, will it?” Cadence asked.
The teacher shook her head. “Oh no no no, it just limits their power. Besides, I have a special antidote I use just in case a foal gets too excited. Trust me, I’ve had need for it on more than one occasion.”
Cadence nuzzled her foals and cooed. ”Alright you two. Behave yourselves, and Flurry, no stacking other foals.”
Rebecca, meanwhile, turned to the rest of the foals. ”Okay class, we’re going to welcome the newest members of magic daycare “ She ruffled the baby alicorn’s mane. “This is Flurry Heart,” She then patted the violet coated fillly’s head and cooed. “And this is Fizzlepop.”
The foals blushed and waved, but the rest of the foals just drooled and some babbled incoherently with Fizzlepop hearing them clearly. Saying such things as. “Fizwwepopie, tats a wong name.”, “Fizzlepop’s hown is stubby.”, or “Fwuuwwy’s hown big, wana chew on it.”
Rebecca giggled as she ruffled their manes. “Oh, looks like they’re excited to meet you. Now go say bye bye to your mommies.” The caretaker put the foals near Twilight Velvet and Cadence as they looked down at the fillies.
Cadence cooed. “Now Flurry. you behave while we’re gone,” Flurry whimpered and hugged her mom. Cadence hugged her close to her chest. “Ahh, what a cutie butt. I know you won’t cause trouble for Mommy,” Fizzlepop waddled up and hugged her as well, making Cadence snuggle her. “Aww, I’m going to miss you too, Fizzlepop,” She kissed the purple unicorn on the forehead and nuzzled her. “You’re so adorable! Cadence proceeded to pat Fizzlepop’s head. “There you go, sweetheart. Now you be a good filly too and stay out of trouble.”
Fizzlepop gave a nod as a little bit of drool came down the filly’s chin. Cadence giggled, “Oh, what a messy foal you are,” She then wiped the filly’s mouth and cooed, “There you go, sweetheart.” She patted Fizzlepop on the forehead again.
The dark purple filly felt something come over her as she watched Cadence leave and whined. “Nuuuu! Dun wan ya to weave, Cady!”
Rebecca Pie dawwed. “Come here you,” She hugged Fizzlepop, who was taken in by the strange mare hugging her. The filly giggled and snuggled the mare ,who dawwed. “Oh how wonderful, we’re already becoming friends,” She settled the filly with the rest of the babbling foals and then cooed. “Now cuties, it’s time for our newest foals to learn our rules,” Rebecca then turned to a simple picture on the blackboard with a small horn sparkling little bolts from the top. “We’ll start by going over magic surges. Magic surges happen when we’re excited, or when we’re angry or scared. They’re just a part of your being, and to control the magic surges means to control your emotions.”
The older colts and fillies whined. “We know, ya went ovew this wike a hundwed times!”
The teacher laughed, “Oh, I know. I was just making sure everypony knows,” She then pointed to the horn. “Now, how about we have one of our older foals show how magic is done?”
A young, dark blue coated colt with gold eyes, and a stubby golden mane and tail waddled up in a bright blue pull-up and giggled. “How about me? My sugwes awe aw undew contwow!”
Rebecca ruffled his mane and giggled. “Oh I know, you’ve been doing so well.”
He nodded as his horn light up, then he closed his eyes as the colt’s horn fizzled and shot out a small bolt of lightning and he smiled. “See, wook! It shoot spawks!”
The foals all cooed and clapped as Rebecca squealed. “Good job, Tinkle Sparks. now go and take a seat,” The colt bounced off with a big smile on his face. Rebecca tried not to giggle. “Oh how adorable. Now how about one of our new foals give it a try?”
Fizzlepop blushed, and tried hiding her face behind her hooves. Flurry squealed in delight and flew up next to Rebecca, who giggled and ruffled the filly’s mane. “Alright, go on, Flurry Heart. Show us your magic.”
Flurry scrunched her face as the filly’s horn glowed and blasted energy towards the colt that was skipping off! His pull-up was now a big pink diaper, making every foal laugh as he squeaked. “Hey! I a colt! A big colt at tat!” He tugged at the diaper to no avail, rolling around as Rebecca smirked. “I see Flurry Heart’s catalyst is extreme happiness.” Rebecca then drifted a vial from the top of her cabinet and poured it onto the colt’s diaper, poofing it back to a colt’s pull-up.
Tinkle blushed. “Tanks, teacher.”
Rebecca giggled. “Oh it’s no problem,” She turned to Flurry Heart who blushed. “It’s okay, Flurry. Now we know where to start.”
She then turned to Fizzlepop and asked. “Do you want to do a demonstration too?” Fizzlepop shook her head and the teacher cooed. “Okay, sweetheart, we don’t have to do that now. I guess you can go on and play with the other foals. I need to have the next project ready for later.”
Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart turned to the other foals all gathering around them. Flurry Heart clapped her hooves. “Yay, new fwiends! I haven’t met tis many foaws since Mommy took me on that zepp… zepp… uh, tat big aiwship tingy.”
Fizzlepop just gulped and nervously started helping other foals build a tower out of blocks. Eventually, however, she started to smile. “Tis isn’t too bad! Is actuawwyy a wot of fun!”
The foals played for quite a long time. Fizzlepop squeaked when a hoof pulled back the seam on her diaper. “Hey, wha gives?!”
Rebecca giggled and apologized. “Oops, sorry. Didn’t realize you weren’t used to random diaper checks, sweetheart,” The mare then patted the padded bottom. “Well, you’re a little soggy filly it seems.” She picked the foal up, put her down on the changing table, and started changing the little filly. Fizzlepop was now getting used to this and lifted her tiny legs as the mare wiped the filly’s rump. “Why thank you, Fizzlepop. Such a polite filly,” She finished diapering Fizzlepop and then cooed. “Guess what, sweeties? It’s nap time!”
The foals all whined as Rebecca laughed. “Oh, don’t worry. After your nap, we’re going to have lots of fun!” She put Fizzlepop down with the rest of the foals, who all began to settle onto their sleeping mats and she smiled, watching the foals fall asleep. The mare then got out a music recorder letting it play light nursery music as the remaining foals drifted off. Soon the fillies were all asleep and Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop were both nuzzling into each other.
Flurry Heart smiled. “So ya wiking Magic Daycare so faw?”
Fizzlepop nodded. “We buiwd ta biggest towew eva! I hope nopony knocks it down though, because I wana show Cady how big it is!”
Flurry giggled. “Yeah, Mommy wuvs towaws! Maybe we showd dwaw somthin too fow hew, so she can see wha is wike in case it does get knocked down.”
Fizzlepop nodded in agreement, then she babbled. “Bettew go to sweep…” The filly whimpered as she nuzzled deep underneath the blankets and Flurry nuzzled next to her. But Fizzlepop tossed and turned, whimpering upon seeing a Ursa Minor plushie towering on the side of the nursery. She squealed in horror! “Aww no, not a Uwsa Minew! The filly tumbled backwards in fright ,shooting a blast of energy as the caretaker came over! ”What is i-!” The blast of energy hit the mare as she poofed into a tiny, chubby foal and she gasped! “Oh my! Age wegession! This hasn’t happened to me since Twily was in my cawe!”
Fizzlepop giggled as she came over. “I so sowie, I didn’ see ya!”
The mare blushed and babbled. “Is otay, ya get used ta this aftew cawin fow foaws fow twenty yeaws.”
But then Fizzlepop started sniffling. “I...I got scawed of ta Uswa Minow teddy. Ya see, my hown was bwoken by a Uwsa Minow when I was a fiwwy, I tink I was six ow seven when it happened” She then babbled. ”I sowie, Ms. Webecaa Pie! Guess I gonna go back to my meanie mommy and daddy now! Tey gonna scowd me fow being carewess with my hown.”
Rebecca waddled over and patted Fizzlepop on the back. “Hey, sweetheart is awright. I can tuwn back to nowmal.”
Fizzlepop sniffled a bit, but soon realized what her caretaker meant. “Wew, we just gotta get ya a potion, wight?”
Rebecca nodded. But before the three could do anything. the rest of the foals were getting up and turned to Rebecca, surprised to see her in her regressed state. One filly squealed! “Ms. Webecca Pie is a foaw!”
The foalfied caretaker was swarmed by the foals, giggling as they poked her chubby tummy and she squealed. “Hey, tat tickles!” The filly laughed as she kicked, about and then the foals all gasped as she unintentionally peed all over the carpet! They all backed up, grimacing as one whined. “Eww! She need a diapee, she pee-peed hewsewf.”
Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart both came up and raised their hooves and Fizzlepop babbled. “Wook, we gots to get hew to be a big pony so she can cwean up the pee-pee! Now, who know how to put a diapee on a foaw?”
The other foals looked at each other with blank expressions, some even at their own soggy diapers. Then Tinkle, the colt in the glasses, raised a hoof. “I tink I know!” He came up with a diaper bag. “I have a youngew sistew, and I hewped put a diapee on hew once.”
Fizzlepop eyed him suspiciously. “Who awe ya?”
The colt blushed. “My name is Tinkwe Spawk. I actuawwy a cowt fwom Ponyviwwe, bu I moved to Cantewot when my daddy became a teachew and my mommy had my sissy. She onwy five months owd and I wuv hew vewy much an-”
Rebecca blushed as she interrupted. “Tat’s great, sweetheart, bu I weally need a diapee.”
Tinkle blushed. “Oh, sowwie,” The colt began diapering the caretaker quite well, wiping her up, powdering her, and taping her up in a fluffy white diaper.
Fizzlepop babbled. “Ya doin good. And ya can undewstand us?”
Tinkle giggled. “Wew, I have a secwet. I’ve wearned how to speak foaw babbwe fwom my sissy. Is a witte speww I wowked on so I can undewstand hew.”
Flurry gasped! “Weawwy! Ya weawwy smawt!”
Tinkle blushed. “Guess so, bu I bad at potty twainin. I stiww can’t see to make it in time, and I twying so hawd. One time I even soaked wight twough it,” The foals all laughed as Rebecca hugged him. “Oh, dun ya wowwie about tat. We have potty twaining wessons for those tat sign up fow it, some even gwaduate fwom diapees duwing the cwasses.” She booped his nose. “Ya weawwy awe a good cowt. Now can ya hewp me with one mowe thing?”
Tinkle shrugged. “Wew, awight. Wha ya want me ta do? They went over to the teacher’s desk and looked up at the cabinet.
Rebecca pointed. “I need to weach that, is whewe ta potion is to change me back. Wast time I had to wait fow a mommy to come, but I think we shouwd get me back to nowmaw now. Dun wan Fizzwpop to get in twowbwe.”
The colt giggled. “Otay,” He then waddled off, bringing back a big container of “plastic building blocks. “How about we buiwd staiws?” He suggested.
They all squealed as Rebecca shrugged. “Otay, maybe. Bu be cawefuw not to faww and get owies”
The foals all started stacking the blocks one at a time. Fizzlepop gulped, looking at the door, “I hope I can do tis befowe Cady gets hewe. I dun wana go back to my mommy and daddy. I supwised I didn’t wun away fown tem soonew.”
They all worked together for sometime, and Tinkle Spark started to squirm, clenching his pull-up. “Otay, I tink we done. Is not gonna get any highew, sowwy.”
The foals looked up as the teacher turned to the clock. “Uh oh. I fowgots a wittwe about tweein time, but I know when ta widdwe hand is on thwee, mommies stawt comin!”
The foals all looked up at their foalish plastic stairs and Flurry babbled. “I’ww cwimb. I gots big wings that hewp just in case it fawws.”
They all nodded in agreement as Rebecca, Fizzlepop, and the squirming Tinkle held the stairs made of plastic blocks. Flurry Heart started to climb the steps, waddling up them one at a time as Tinkle Spark squirmed and Rebecca' whispered. “Just pee ya puww-up, sweetheawt. I’ww change ya when I get back to nowmaw, I pwomice.”
Tinkle sighed as he let go and a loud hissss echoed as his pull-up filled up. He blushed. “Otay, I dun. Good ting my mommy’s not hewe to see tis, she says I gotta stop havin’ pee pee and poo poo accidents, ow I goin’ back to diapees.”
Fizzlepop giggled and booped the colt’s nose. “We gots to have a pwaydate when this is aw ovew. Now stop tawkin about pee pees and keep tat steady! I awmost thewe.”
The foals all looked up as Flury reached the cabinet, opening it slowly as she took out a vial, and Rebecca clapped her hooves in excitement. “Tat's it! Good job, Fwurry!”
But then the plastic stairs crumbled and they collapsed! Fortunately, Flurry gently lowered herself with her big wings and babbled. “Towd ya my big wings awe gweat!” The foals all hugged her, before she gagged at the stench of stale urine emanating from Tinkle Spark. “Oh Tinkwe, ya needs a changie, badwy!”
He giggled, stepping back. “Yeah, I do.”
Rebecca, meanwhile, took the potion and turned to the foals while blushing. “Well, this was fun. Bu I gots to be an adwt now.” She drank the potion poofing back to her old self as her diaper was torn to shreds.
And that was right when Cadence peeked in. “Oh, uh, sorry to bother you Ms. Rebecca Pie. Just came to pick up my cuties,” The foals squealed, waddling over, and Cadence picked them up. “Oh just look at my little cutie butts. Did you have fun?” They both nodded and pointed to the colt, who blushed. Cadence cooed. “Oh, who’s this? A new friend you made?”
The colt waddled up and babbled. “Hewwo, my name is Tinkle Spark and I thwee. These two awe my bestest fwiends.”
Cadence bent down. “That’s very nice of you, sweetheart. And I see you’re in potty training.”
Tinkle blushed, scrunching his very wet pull-up. “Yeah, bu I havin twobwe. Is hawd.”
Cadence laid him down and hummed. “Well, I think you may just be a bit too young for potty training if you’re having such a huge accident. Sometimes foals don't truly start until they’re four.” She then wiped him down as he giggled. “Tat tickwes.” She then strapped him in a white diaper and he blushed. “Diapees again?”
Rebecca laughed. “My my, Tinkle, you look so cute in diapers. It’s okay, I’m sure your mommy will understand,” He blushed and tried hiding his diaper with his forehooves. Rebecca then smiled as she looked up at the pink coated alicorn. “Well, I can safely say, Cadence, that your foals played so well together with Tinkle Spark. And they all used their magic to help a filly in trouble.”
Tinkle Spark blushed as Cadence cooed. “Glad to hear that. And when Tinkle Star’s mommy comes, I’ll ask if he can come over on a playdate.”
Tinkle Spark squealed, jumping up in joy! “Tat sounds wike fun!”

Chapter five: A colt's theory
Tinkle Spark was blushing and scrunching his diaper upon seeing his mother looking down on him when she came to pick him up. She was a shy, dark purple coated unicorn mare with thick glasses, a mane of golden locks, and dark blue eyes. The mare cooed. “So Tinkle Spark, why are you wearing a diaper? I specifically remember taking you out of them almost a year ago.”
Tinkle Star squeaked. “I...I...I soaked my pull-up.” He shamefully confessed.
His mother then ruffled his mane and cooed. “Oh, again? And you haven’t once managed to make it to the potty. I guess your daddy was right, I tried train you too early. But who put the diaper on you?”
Cadence stepped up and apologized. “I’m sorry, I did it.I just saw his pull-up was soaked and I put the diaper on him. I felt that if he had such an accident, he probably wasn’t ready for pull-ups yet.”
The mare laughed and threw up a hoof. “Oh, don’t worry about it. I should've just put him back in diapers myself. I’ve been trying to potty train him but he just can’t seem to make it.”
Tinkle Star blushed. “Uh, how long am I staying in diapees, Mommy?”
His mom smirked and tapped a hoof to her chin. “Hmmm, let me see,” She then took the colt and hugged him close to her chest. “You can stay in diapers for a few more months if you want. Maybe once Mommy has more time to spend with you, she can start potty training you more carefully.”
Tinkle squealed, jumping into the air! “Tank you, Mommy! Diapees are so much more comfortable tan pull-ups!” He then waddled off to play.
Meanwhile Princess Cadence looked down at a happy little purple coated unicorn filly with big silvery eyes and a mane of gold and black locks. She was babbling nonsense and kicking about, and Cadence’s heart fluttered as she cooed. “Aww, who’s the cutest little filly?” She started tickling the little foal’s tummy, as the filly giggled and kicked about. Cadence cooed. ”What’s the little cutie patootie’s name?”
The mare giggled. “Oh, it’s Sparkle Light.”
Cadence dawwed and booped the filly’s nose. “You have an adorable foal. Oh, look at me cooing over your foal and I never got your name.”
The mare held out a hoof. “Oh well the mother of that adorable foal is me, Golden Spark.”
Cadence blushed as she shook it. “It's nice to meet you Golden, and I see you have your hooves busy.”
Golden smiled at her filly, gurgling and spitting drool down her chin. “Indeed I do, and this here is little Sparkle Light.”
Cadence dawwed, watching the filly squeal and kick about, making her diaper crinkle. “My goodness, I just can’t get enough of her.”
Golden Spark laughed. “Oh I know, but she’s so rambunctious. She keeps me up all night sometimes,” Tinkle Spark then pulled on his mom’s tail as she turned. “Yes dear?”
Tinkle asked. “Mama, I wana sweep over at Flurry’s house. Is that otay?”
Golden Spark looked up at Cadence and asked. “You’re Flurry Heart’s mom, right? Is that alright with you?”
The princess laughed. “Of course it is, he’s such a wonderful colt. And since you put him back in diapers, I don’t have to worry about Flurry being jealous of him.”
The mare blushed. “If you wanna potty train him, you’re more than welcome to. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I did.”
“I think it’s best if he stays in diapers, I don’t think he’s quite ready yet if he soaks his pull-ups so heavily all the time.” Cadence commented.
“Alright then,” Golden Spark replied and then turning to her son she added. “Now Tinkle Spark, when you’re playing with your new friends, I want you to be on your best behavior. I'll pick you up tomorrow around nine am.”
Tinkle squealed with delight! “Otay, Mama! I’ll be a good colt!” He then ran off, playfully tackling Flurry Heart.
Cadence laughed at the adorable scene. “My, what an energetic colt.”
Golden giggled. “Yeah, he is, maybe that’s why I haven’t had much luck potty training him. He’s just too absorbed in playing to tell me when he has to go. Thank you for agreeing to watch him. In fact, I needed a foal sitter because Sparkle Light and I have a doctor’s appointment."
Cadence turned, seeing how tired and exhausted the mare looked and asked. “Are you doing okay?”
Golden nodded before yawning. “Yes. It’s just a checkup, nothing serious. I’m simply exhausted from tending to two rambunctious little ones,” She then gave Cadence a small diaper bag and cooed. “Now this has Tinkle Spark’s blankie, and a nightlight, he’s scared of the dark.”
Cadence tried not to laugh. “I see. Well don’t you worry, I'll take good care of Tinkle Spark.”
Golden Sparkle then whispered. “Thanks, Princess. Say, while you’re here, maybe we can talk over a cup of tea while our husbands care for the kids?”
Cadence rolled her eyes. “Please, every time I have Shining foalsit alone he ends up the one being strapped in a diaper and being fed foal food, or something along those lines.”
They both burst into laughter and Golden Sparkle smirked. “Yeah I know what you mean, my husband has been on the receiving end of my little ones’ mischief more times than I can remember. Guess I’ll get going now, take good care of Tinkle Spark for me.” She then strolled out while Tinkle Spark turned and babbled. “Bye bye, Mama! See ya at uh...one...two...nine! See ya at nine o clock!”
The mare cooed. “Alright, sweetheart, see you tomorrow. And be good for Cadence.” She then walked off as Cadence turned around and cooed to her foals. “Okay sweethearts, it’s time to go.”
The foals all looked over and ran towards Cadence as she lifted both Fizzlepop and Flurry into a stroller, and pushed them out the door as Tinkle Spark waddled along her side. She ruffled the colt’s mane and turned to Tinkle Spark and asked. “So, sweet heart, how long have you been going to magic daycare?”
Tinkle blushed as he babbled. “Fow two yeaws.”
Cadence giggled a bit. “Oh my, you must’ve had quite the magic surges.”
Tinkle nodded. “Yeah, Mama said I had big sugwes that put ponies in diapees. And one time, when I put Daddy in a diapee while Mommy was pregnant, she made him keep it on the whole morning!”
Cadence laughed, recalling the times she’d seen Flurry do that to Shining. “So, how did you get control of your surges?”
“Well, Rebecca Pie taught me how to learn to control my emotions.” Tinkle explained.
“How exactly?” Cadence asked. “I’m curious as to what her methods are. For the life of me, Shining and I were stumped over how to deal with Flurry’s magic surges, which is why we signed her up for this daycare in the first place.”
Tinkle shrugged and babbled. “Well, ya gots to control the urges by finding out why ya have ta cwazy emotions. I tink ya gots to just find ta weason. Then wowk on noticing that and contwow tat emotion thwough patience.”
Cadence nodded. “I see. Like meditation?”
Tinkle waddled along while mumbling. “Yeah, that is medi-medi-medithingy?”
Cadence cooed. “‘Meditation’, sweetheart. It means concentrating very carefully on something. And you are just so adorable.”
“Wew ya might not bewieve me, but I gots to dweam wawk to hewp me.” Tinkle added.
Cadence smirked, thinking that the colt must have a vivid imagination. “Like Princess Luna?”
Tinkle nodded and explained. “Yeah, she been vewy helpful. But sometimes it’s not just nightmawes fow me, I was just newvous about gwoing up," He sniffled and wiped his face with a hoof. “I dun know what I want to do when I become a big pony.”
Cadence hugged him closer while cooing. “Oh, that’s not something you need to fret about right now. You just worry about being a big brother.”
Tinkle smiled and giggled. “Yeah. I wuv my little sissy!”
Cadence then got up and continued onward as she explained. “Well, I know a pony who is also a big brother and loves his sister very much.”
The little colt asked in excitement. “Who is tat?!”
With a giggle the princess confessed. “Its my husband.”
The group arrived back at Twilight Velvet’s house a short time later, and Cadence opened the door to a smiling Shining Armor. Tinkle Spark burst through, bouncing all over while shouting! “Shining! Shining! You’re a big brother and love your sister!”
The stallion smiled, watching over the colt who bounced towards him. “Wow, you got a shield cutie mark! I want a shield cutie mark!” Tinkle exclaimed!
Shining blushed. “Uh, Cadence, who’s this?”
Cadence was busy taking the foals out of the stroller and checking their diapers. “Oh, he’s a friend of Fizzlepop and Flurry’s. His mom will be by tomorrow to pick him up, she has to take his sister in for a check-up.” She then placed the foals in the playpen.
Tinkle came up and asked. “Hey, Shining, were you a colt like me?”
Shining gulped, mentally praying. “Mom, don't come in! Don't come in! Don't come in! ”
But his plea was in vain as Twilight Velvet came in and cooed. “Oh, he was, sweetheart.”
The colt came over to the older mare and asked. “Really?! What was he like?! Did he have trouble potty training too?!”
Twilight Velvet laughed. “Oh, don’t get me started! One time he completely missed the potty and peed all over the bathroom floor. And the first time he used the toilet, he tried to flush his pull-up down it, clogged up the toilet, and tried to fix it before I found out.”
Shining groaned. “That’s it, I’m leaving! I’ve had enough embarrassment for one lifetime!” He stomped off as the colt’s eyes were all aglow and Tinkle whispered. “Oh wow, that’s so cool! So even if ya bad at potty training, you can grow up to be a cool stallion. Maybe being in diapees again won’t be so bad,” The colt then squealed as he hugged him. “I wana gwow up to be just wike you!”
Cadence dawwed at the scene. “How wonderful, sweetheart. Now how about you go play with your the friends? The big ponies need to talk about big pony stuff.”
Tinkle groaned. “Aww, but grown-ups always have to talk about big pony stuff.”
Cadence picked him up and took him next to the foals. “It’s what they do. Now be nice, and don’t worry about the potty, just use your diapers. Call me if you need anything.”
Tinkle nodded as Cadence left with Shining and Twilight Velvet.
Now alone in the playpen, Tempest turned to the colt and asked. “Ya tellin’ the truth about dream walking? I thought onwy Pwincess Wuwu can do that?”
The colt nodded. “Yes. Normally only Princess Lulu can do that. But ya can do it too if you really try. We foals gots crazy powers,” They all blink as he put a hoof to his slipping glasses. “Otay, tink wike this," He got out a peg hole game with various shapes. “Now the dweam weawm is huge and stwange, with mane eviw things and good things. Most ponies can fit themselves within the dream realm.”
He put the circle peg in the circle hole, the star peg in the star hole, and the square peg in the square hole. “If they’re fine and in harmony, they can fit in and weave when they wake up. But when ya scawed, sad, ow angwy, ya invites the othew stuff,” He then took out some play clay and shoved it in the holes. “The nasty emotions get ya aww sticky and came weave with ya even if ya gets out.”
The colt started smearing the clay on the pegs as Flurry nodded. “Ya wight. When I scawed of a nightmawe, I wake up cwying, still feeling scared. But then my mommy comes in and hugs me, changes my diapee, and feeds me a baba.”
The colt nodded back. “That’s right. But ya can clean it off, and ya do tat by being good and having fwiends and famiwy wuv ya. We foaws, though, awe diffewent.”
Tinkle then shoved a hoof up his nose and took out a booger as the other foals stepped back. “Ewwww!"
Tinkle blushed. “Sowie, but watch, this booger is a foal,” He slid it into the star shaped hole as he explained. “See, it’s so small it doesn't fit. It just goes in and ya gets swamped with aw ta magics. This is why ya gots magic sugwes weawwy. Now wemeba I said ta othew emotions can cling on? The clay will cover the boogers and can make it harder to clean off. That's why we need so much love!”
Fizzlepop was drooling, staring at Tinkle Spark with complete disbelief. “Are you sure you’re just a normal foal?”
Tinkle Spark blushed. “I dun know. Mommy said I her special colt.” He then squealed as he was picked up and a tissue went across his nose, courtesy of Cadence. “Now, now, Tinkle, no picking your nose!"
The colt blushed and babbled. “Sowie."
Cadence then picked up the play clay he’d buried his boogers in and asked. “Why would you put your bugger in the clay? That was naughty!”
Tinkle blushed. “Uh..was..uh doing an ex..ex..expew"
“Experiment, sweetheart,” Cadence corrected. “Now don’t do that again.” She then walked off to through the play clay away, as Flurry crawled over and whispered. “Why didn’ ya tell my mommy about ya theowy.”
Tinkle blushed, pushing his glasses up towards his nose. “Wew...because I thwee. Nopony is going to wisten to a thwee yeaw owd.”
Fizzlepop babbled. “They will if ya says is twue. Can ya dweam walk with me tonight?”
Tinkle nodded. “Yeah, tats fine, but ya gots to fowwow ta wules.”
Fizzlepop then babbled. “So, wana pway tag in the meantime?” When Tinkle agreed, they all giggled as they started running around. Soon Fizzlepop pressed a hoof into the colt’s diaper. “Tag, you’re it!”
Tinkle blushed. “Hey, diapee touches dun count!” Then they all started running around, giggling and chasing each other.
Later that evening Cadence, was putting the foals to sleep. She lowered Flurry Heart, Tinkle Spark, and Fizzlepop into the crib, and covered the foals with a soft foal quilt. Cadence kissed each foal on the forehead and cooed. “Alright sweethearts, it’s time to go to night night.” She then dimmed the lights, plugged in a nightlight, and looked over, smiling. Seeing the foals stir and start drifting off as she walked out of the room.
Cadence walked down the hall to see Shining Armor, and looked up and asked bluntly. “Honey..I...I've been thinking a lot today and I know it may sound strange. But..but if Fizzlepop's parents don't want her back or can't raise her a second time. We could be her parents.”
Shining gasped! “You serious?! Are you sure that’s a good idea?!”
Cadence shrugged as she explained to her husband. “I’m just saying, Flurry loves Fizzlepop. And I’ve seen how Tinkle Spark and his sister Sparkle Light connect, and I think Flurry needs that.”
Shining blushed, recalling his own experiences with a younger sibling. “Yeah, maybe...but are we ready for two foals?”
Cadence smirked. “Honey...I honestly think we will have more than two foals in our lifetime. I just have a feeling Flurry’s not going to be our only experience.”
Shining sighed and shrugged. “Alright, but we should still discuss it with Fizzlepop’s parents first. Did you get in contact with them?”
Cadence sighed. “Yeah, I actually wrote a long letter about Fizzlepop. We’ll see if they respond.”
Unknown to the grown-ups Fizzlepop was overhearing the conversation. “I...I dun wana go back to my mommy and daddy.” She lightly whimpered.
Tinkle Spark whispered. “Fizzwepopie, ya gots to cawm down. If ya gets newvous, we can’t wawk in the dweam weawm.”
Reluctantly, Fizzlepop nodded, and plopped back down and buried herself under the covers. Shs laid her head upon a pillow while putting a hoof in her mouth. “I hope Cady and Shiny adopt me. They're better than my parents. ” She thought to herself.
Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart woke up a few hours later in a black void, with bubbles surrounding them. Tinkle Spark waddled over and raised his hooves. “Welcome to ta dweam weawm. Now wemeba, we hewe to hewp ya two controw ya magic sugwes.”
Fizzlepop and Flurry were so excited as the little princess alicorn bounced in the air. “Oh oh! I wana see Auntie Tia’s dweam! She so amazing!”
Fizzlepop turned towards a pink bubble and recognized it as Cadence’s dream.
The toddler whined. “No, ya two can't just go off! I aweady set up with Pwincess Wuwu what dweam we going into.’"
But it was too late, Fizzlepop ran straight to the pink bubble while thinking! “I got to know what Cady is dreaming, and see if she really wants me. ” Fizzlepop jumped through and woke In a small crib, looking around at walls of pure white, and gazed upon what seemed to be a hospital room. She groaned but was unable to move.The foal looked down to see a tight pink blanket wrapped around her body but...her body seemed shorter and weaker. She tried to move but her muscles did not respond, in fact she felt more content just lying there, looking up at the lights.
Then she was suddenly caught in a light yellow aura of somepony’s magic and was drifted towards a big pink alicorn, who she recognized not as Cadence but as mom. The mare cooed. “Good morning, sweetheart,” She nuzzled the filly close to her chest so the foal could listen faintly to the mare’s heartbeat. The mare cooed. “Thats right, sweetie. That's Mama’s heartbeat.”
Fizzlepop nuzzled her more, wanting to feel her fur and to stay like this forever. But soon a familiar colt popped in with a toy stethoscope and with a huge diaper (with a big red cross printed on the front) strapped around his rump. He looked up with a blush as he pushed up his glasses. “Hewwo, I Docta uh… Doctow Tinkwe.”
Cadence dawwed. “Oh hello, sweetheart. Did you come to give me and my foal a checkup?”
The colt blushed. “Yeah, I uh need to make suwe ya and ta baby awe otay.”
Cadence giggled, hovering Fizzlepop to Tinkle who whispered. “Hey uh, Fizzlepop, I uh the docta.”
Fizzlepop wanted to ask. “What's going on?” But she could only coo lightly with some spit shooting out. The colt giggled. “I told ya not to go into otha pony’s dreams. Now I need to find Flurry Heart, so ya gots to stay hewe.” He then put his plastic stethoscope on Fizzlepop’s head, then gave the foal back to Cadence who giggled and asked. “So, is my little foal all healthy?”
Tinkle nodded in agreement. “Yep, but better watch out. Hew cuteness may cause heart attacks.”
Cadence smirked. “Oh no, it looks like my foal’s cuteness caught onto you!” She lit up her horn, blowing away his lab coat and showing his cute diaper with a big red cross on it.
Tinkle blushed, re-buttoning his coat. “Tank you, but I bettew get going. Got mowe foaws and theiw mommies to check on.”
He waddled off as Fizzlepop’s tummy grumble and Cadence cooed. “Sounds like my little filly is hungry.” She lay on her side and lowered a blushing Fizzlepop to her underbelly as the foal gulped and thought. “Well at least I know that Cadence loves me. ”
Flurry Heart ran into a big white bubble, poofed into a throne room, and looked up to see Celestia was on her throne. But the filly gasped seeing she was a young filly and her tiara was lopsided. “Now, as Princess, I declare that homework is banned! And cake is free to every foal!” She gleefully declared.
Flurry giggled and walked over. “Tia! Tia!”
Celestia looked down. “Oh, hello Princess Flurry. How is the Crystal Empire?”
Flurry blinked as she realized she was wearing a tiara, plush golden shoes, and a bib with a big crystal heart on it for her regela. She giggled. “It good I uh… said aw foaws gets thewe own Whammies!”
Celestia laughed. “Aww, you’re so cute!” She tackled Flurry and chirped. “Now come on, let's go play in the garden!”
Flurry squealed. "Otay, Auntie tia! Tat sounds wike fun!”
They both ran off giggling and playing tag in the garden. They didn't notice Tinkle spark running up in a crinkling diaper with a big blue shield printed on it (that looked similar to Shining Armor’s cutie mark) and was also now wearing gold plastic armor. Celestia turned to the colt with a smile and asked. “Captain, Tinkle Spark, how is everything?”
Tinkle blushed and did a clumsy salute. “Evewything good, foaws all got diapers, homework is burned, and everypony is eating cake as ordered.”
Celestia nodded. “Good, now do you want to play tag?”
Tinkle smirked, looking down at Flurry who blushed as he continued. “Well...can we play hide and go seek instead?”
Celestia nodded in approval and chirped. “Sure, sounds like fun!” Celestia went over to a tree and started counting, as Tinkle Spark took Flurry aside. “Hey, Flurry, we needs to leave. O told ya we can't be invading other pony’s dreams.”
Flurry whined. “Why not? I wana pway!”
Tunkle smiled. “Hey, we can play but..”
Flurry shook her head. “No! Wana pway with Tia, she wots of fun!” She stomped about as the dream changed, and Tinkle shrank with a cry of “Oh no!". He was now a babbling foal, falling over in a thicker diaper with tiny blue rattles printed on it. His plastic armor now transformed into a gold onesie.
Flurry clapped her hooves. “Now come on, Tinkle! We need to hide!”
But Tinkle ran a hoof down his face. He then took out a plastic crescent moon and shined it. “Pwincess Wuwu, hewp pwease!”
It took a few minutes, but Luna finally arrived, seeing her sister as a filly playing tag with the foals. She tapped a hoof then smirked. “I have an idea,” She lit her horn and a big diaper bag appeared around her, as a pink frilly apron flew over and she came down. “Tia, what are you doing?’
Celestia looked up with a smile. “I’m playing with my friends, Lulu.”
Luna giggled. “I see, but your friends need to go home. It's getting late and they need their naps.”
Flurry whined and stomped her hooves. “Na uh, I sweepin awewady! Dun need to nap in a dweam.” But Flurry then felt some dust go in her eyes, and as she rubbed them she started to wobble about and yawned. Tinkle yawned and waddled over to Luna, who put both the colt and the filly in a foal holster around her chest.
Celestia whimpered. “Bu..but I don’t wanna be alone! Who's going to play with me?!”
Luna looked down, now feeling sorry for her sister and whispered. “How about Twily? I think she's available," The Lunar princess poofed a filly Twilight in, who squeaked. “Huh? I thought I was doing show and tell in Magic Kindergarten.”
Celestia happily squealed. “Twily! Wanna play tag?!”
Twilight nodded and squealed with joy. “Of course I wanna play tag with you, Tia!” The two fillies both scampered off as Luna patted Tinkle Spark’s head. “Alright, now we need to get Fizzlepop.”
Fizzlepop woke up still snuggled next to Cadence, but she was talking to another pony whose features Fizzlepop couldn’t make out. “So, how long were you in labor?”
“Oh it was six hours, but it was worth it.” Cadence replied.
Fizzlepop turned to see Luna in a hospital gown, holding Tinkle Spark. But he was a newborn foal now wrapped in a baby blue blanket in Luna’s hooves.
Cadence dawwed. “My goodness, he's precious. But wasn’t he a toddler before?”
Luna laughed rather nervously. “Oh I doubt it. I mean he was just born! How could he have been a toddler?” She nuzzled him and then blushed as he tried suckling her fur. Cadence cooed. “Oh, looks like he's hungry. Should I draw the curtain for you?”
Luna squeaked. “Uh..you know what? How about I feed both him and uh..Fizzlepop?”
Cadence eyed her. “Umm...I'm not sure. Is he healthy?”
Luna gave a sheepish smile. “Oh yes, it's just uh... my teats are very full and they hurt. It would be nice if they could get drained a little.”
Cadence shrugged. “Alright just be careful.” She lifted Fizzlepop to Luna who quickly closed the curtains and shined her horn as a newborn Starlight Glimmer poofed in Luna’s hooves, wrapped in a pink blanket with her squealing. “Hey, what gives?! I was having a dream about building blocks with Sunburst!”
Luna cooed. “Don't worry, sweetheart. I just need your help.” She then lit up her horn, darkened Starlight’s coat while making her eyes a velvet color, and her mane red.
Fizzlepop giggled. “Ya making a clone of me!”
Luna then poofed both Fizzlepop and Tinkle Shine into her belly, and with her magic unveiled the curtain and drifted Starlight back into Cadence’s hooves. “There you go.”
Cadene eyed Luna, seeing she was now pregnant. “Wait, didn't you just deliver?”
Luna groaned, getting up from her bed. “Oh no, but I will soon. You should just relax and care for your new foal.” Luna then waddled out out of the room and poofed out of the dream.
Cadence shrugged, looking down at Starlight. “That was weird, I must be seeing things.”
Luna was now safely back in the dream realm. She lit her horn, poofing the two foals from her belly, and glared at Flurry, Fizzlepop and Tinkle Spark. “Tinkle Spark! I told you not go invading other dreams!” She scolded.
Tinkle Spark whimpered as he explained. “I wasn’t! but tey aww just wan off!”
The other foals nodded slowly as Luna sighed. “Precisely why I don’t think this was a good idea. I should've know having foals dream walking was a bad idea.”
Tinkle Spark apologized. “Ya wight, and I weawwy weawwy sowie. Can ya hewp us with owa magic sugews, pewase?” The foals looked up with pleading puppy dog looks as Luna groaned and consented. “Alright, fine, I'll help. But from now, if we do go into dreams we go together and you follow my instructions. If you get too wild, I'm ending this.”
The foals all squealed “Yay!” and started jabbering on what dreams they wanted to visit, as Luna sighed. “Oh dear sister, what did I just get myself into?”

Chapter Six: A Dream Wedding
Later that night Tinkle Spark left for Luna to work with Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart on their magic surges. The princess was now with Fizzlepop in the dream realm. They were in a playroom filled with foam blocks and plushies. Fizzlepop was busy stacking them and she mumbled. “Pwincess Wuwu, how is this hewpin me with my magic sugwes? I dun see wat ta point of this is.”
Luna sighed and explained. “Fizzlepop, you’re learning to control yourself in the dream realm. I can’t have you running off and causing chaos in other ponies dreams. My work is hectic enough as it is.”
Fizzlepop sighed. “Awight, I get it, I not gonna put ponies in diapees and stuff. Can we go now?”
Luna smirked, satisfied with the response. “Alright then, come on. I think it’s about time we started. Just stay close to me.”
The princess of the night led Fizzlepop out of the bubble and into another dream world. But this one was strange, they went through and Fizzlepop gasped in horror upon seeing an Ursa Minor! But this one was small, no bigger than a pony and it was running around a field of flowers.
Fizzlepop whimpered and stepped back. “Wh…why did you bring me here, Pwincess Wuwu?”
Luna looked down at the frightened foal as she explained. “Fizzlepop, you need to face your fears if you’re going to get your magic surges under control in the waking world. Don’t worry, this is but a dream, you can’t actually be harmed. The Ursa Minor you see before is really young, in fact he’s a baby. I promise, nothing is going to happen to you.”
Fizzlepop whimpered. “Bu...but a Uwsa Minew bwoke my hown. I dun wan tat to happen to me again.”
Luna bent down and cooed at the foal. “Sweetheart, I told you that this is a dream. Nothing bad can happen here on my watch.”
Fizzlepop rubbed a hoof across her face and whimpered. “You pwomice?”
Luna nuzzled the foal and whispered. “I promise, now come on. We need disguises so we don’t startle the creature,” She poofed an Ursa Minor sleeper with a bear hood over Fizzlepop’s face. The foal giggled on seeing its shiny blue color and bounced in it. Luna then poofed a purple Ursa Major sleeper over herself and with a blush declared. “Alright, come on little cub.”
Fizzlepop giggled as she followed Luna to the Ursa Minor cub, who went wide eyed upon seeing the ponies and stepped back in fear. The filly gulped as she stepped forward and whispered nervously. “Hey little guy, I Fizzlepop, and I not gonna huwt ya. I a fwiend and I wana pway with ya,” The cub came up and sniffed Fizzlepop, then licked her, making her giggle. “Hey, cut tat out.”
The Ursa Minor continued licking her then tackled the foal and they both went into the grass. Fizzlepop squealed with laughter and kicked about as she rolled around with the Ursa Minor cub. They both got up and Fizzlepop took a hoof and booped the cub’s soft, wet, black nose.
The Ursa Minor was confused by the gesture and took a paw and booped back. Fizzlepop giggled and booped the Ursa Minor back, and soon they were chasing each other around the field playing a game of tag.
Luna watched from the side, making sure everything was running smoothly.
All of a sudden, Fizzlepop tripped and her hood flew off, revealing the small purple coated unicorn! The Ursa Minor stepped back, whimpering. This made Fizzlepop tear up. “Wha, no! I dun wanna wose my hown again!” But then she happened to look over, seeing the Ursa Minor backing away, fear clearly registered on his little pudgy face. Fizzlepop held up a hoof. “W..wait, hold on! Is alwight!”
But the Ursa Minor squeaked as it ran off and Fizzlepop burst into tears. Luna came over and hugged her. “It’s alright, little one. As I promised, you are unharmed.”
Fizzlepop whimpered. “Wh…why was it scawed of me? I just wana pway.”
Luna cooed. “Well dream or not, it’s a wild animal, sweetheart. Sometimes they get scared of us ponies. But it’s alright, you made a lot of progress tonight.”
Fizzlepop nodded as she hugged Luna for comfort and the lunar princess patted the filly’s diaper. Even in the dream realm it was still possible for foals to use their diapers. Fortunately, Fizzlepop was clean. “We can always visit the Ursa Minor again some other time. Now how about we have some fun?”
Luna led Fizzlepop to another bubble, Pumpkin Cake was splashing around in a pool of rubber balls. She was chewing on them and Fizzlepop giggled seeing that they were gummies. She immediately jumped in, babbling. “Pumpkin Cake!”
Pumpkin Cake squealed and hugged Fizzlepop. “Fizzwepop!” They both giggled as Pumpkin Cake asked. ”Hey ya wana swim with gummies? Is so much fun!”
Fizzlepop nodded. ”Yeah! Wets see how many gummies we can eat! Ta foaw who eats ta most wins.”
Pumpkin giggled. “Otay! Weady, set, go!”
The two dived in and started stuffing their mouths with gummy balls. Luna just watched from the corner and nodded. ”Alright, now it’s Flurry’s turn.”
Flurry Heart was having a fun dream. She was riding her snail plushie Whammy, and was bouncing on its back while squealing. “Giddy up, Whammy! We gots to go faster!”
Just then Luna appeared and smirked as she floated her niece to her and cooed. “Hey sweetheart, you ready to learn how to control your magic surges?”
Flurry bounced down and flew into Luna’s hooves as she squealed. “Of course, Auntie Wuwu! Is about time! Ya had me stay in tat bowin pway dweam foweva, so I changed it. I pwomice not to do cwazy magic sugwes ow anyting wike tat.”
Luna smirked and snuggled her niece. “Well you better not. Come on, let’s go. I have a special dream that I want to show you. I think you’re very much going to like it.”
Luna plopped Flurry Heart on her back, and they flew together into a bright blue bubble. When they came through, Flurry watched as Shining Armor was standing near the throne in Canterlot palace. He was wearing a fancy red suit with ponies in fancy clothes standing below him. Flurry gasped! “Is this Daddy’s dream?!”
The dark coated alicorn princess nodded in approval. “Yes. Here we’re going to learn how to control your excitement.”
“Wait, whas going on?” Flurry asked as she looked all around.
Luna giggled and cooed. “Well, Shining’s dreaming of his wedding a few years ago. It happened before you were born.”
Flurry squealed happily! “Yay! Gonna see Daddy and Mommy get married!”
Flurry jumped up and down as Luna cooed. “Calm down, sweetheart. Let’s just watch and see what happens.” They looked over to see Cadence step forward in her long, flowing, white wedding dress as musicplayed in the background. She stood before Shining, looking deep into his eyes.
Flurry was getting more and more agitated, squirming about in Luna’s arms. “Why can’t I go see tem?! I wana go with Mommy and Daddy?!”
Luna tried clinging onto the foal. “Calm down, Flurry! We’re trying to be respectful rem-“ But it was too late, Flurry popped out of Luna’s grasp and flew towards her parents!
And in that same moment, her horn burst! Magic hitting both her parents. Shining Armor was regressed to a foal a bit older than Flurry Heart, standing there in a thick white diaper and a bright red onesie, while Cadence was a slightly older filly with the wedding dress now a little filly’s dress, full of frills and was way shorter revealing a thick diaper poofing out around her rump. She had make-up and lipstick smeared all over her face. She kissed him on the cheek and the audience laughed.
Twilight Velvet got up and cooed. “Aww, look at them, they’re so cute together in their little diapers and dresses.”
Flurry then watched as Shining plopped down and began wailing! “No, I not a foal! Stop embewassin me! I a gown-up!”
Shining waddled off as Cadence ran after him while teasing. “Snugglypoo, was wong? We pwayin wedding, wememba? Ya gots to dance with me! You gonna teach me youw speciaw diapee dance tat makes aww the gwown-ups swoon and aw!”
Flurry wanted to fly off to see her regressed parents dance, but at that moment Luna grabbed her by the neck. “Alright, that’s quite enough of that.” She sternly lectured.
Flurry whimpered and apologized. “I sowie, I didn mean ta do tat. I just wanted taa see my mommy and daddy get mawwied. I didn mean to tuwn tem into foaws.”
Luna sighed. “This is exactly what I was talking about earlier, young Flurry. You need to control these urges. They may seem harmless now, but one of these days you may cause a problem that can’t be fixed by a grown-up.”
Flurry squirmed and whined. “Otay ten. Bu... can I at weast make Daddy happy. I dun wan see him cwyin in the dweam of him mawwying Mommy.”
Luna nodded. “Indeed, we’d better fix this before he wakes up or it could affect his pysche. But we better give you a disguise so he doesn’t suspect anything.” She then turned Flurry’s mane pink and had a bib with a sun on it placed over her.
The little filly squealed as she flew off! “Yay, I Auntie Tia!”
Shining was now in the palace garden, plopped firmly on his diapered rump, with Cadence coming down towards his location. “Hey, Shiny, wha ya doin? We pwayin wedding, wemembew?”
But Shining whined. “No, we not we weawwy gettin mawwied. My mommy tuwned me into a baby and tuwned ya into a swightwy oldew one. She always embewassin me.”
Cadence giggled. “No, ya mommy didn’ make ya us babies, and we pwaymates. Now ya wana finish ta weddin?”
Shining shook his head. “No, I stayin hewe…untiw I need a diapee change, or Mommy tuwns me back to nowmaw.”
Cadence pouted and stuck her tounge out. ”Fine then, I gonna ask Bweubwood to pway with me.”
She ran off as Flurry came over, disguised as Celestia. ”Ya can’t do tat, Cady!”
Cadence turned around and asked. “Why not, Auntie Tia? Bwuebwood is a poopyhead, but he wikes pwayin with me, unwike Shining hewe who’s a cwy baby.”
Flurry babbled. “He’s not a cwy baby, Shiny does want to pway wedding with ya. But we got to hewp him out.”
Cadence turned to see Shining now had a plastic helmet and a foam sword, wacking a royal guard who was chuckling at the foal’s antics, and rolled her eyes. “Good wuck, wooks wike he busy pwayin woyaw guawd ow somthin.”
“I’ll fix tat,” Flurry declared. She flew over to Shining and called. “Hey, Shiny.”
The little colt looked over at the young princes and asked. “Hey Pwincess Cewestia, wana pway woyaw guawd with me? A woyaw guawd needs somepony to pwotect.”
Flurry giggled. “No, I can’t. I uh, pwayin waise ta sun.”
Shiny laughed. “Ya can’t do tat yet, ya onwy a baby, wike me.”
Flurry pouted. “Na uh, watch!” She flew into the air and the sun sored up higher (with some unseen help by Princess Luna) and Flurry then plopped down on the ground. “See?”
Shining shrugged. “Wew, ya done now. Wha ya want?”
Flurry sighed and cooed. “Wook, why du ya finish pwayin wedding with Cadence? She weawwy wants to pway with ya and weawn fowm ya.”
But Shining shook his head and protested. “Nu-uh, no way. Evewypony gonna waugh at me, ow wose, tey gonna take pictuwes of me.”
Flurry sighed, why did her dad have to be stubborn in his dreams? He was so much more easy going in the waking world. “Wook, ya a foaw and whatevea ya do as a foaw may be embewassin and siwwy. But it awso is fun. And if ya mommy takes pictures and tawks about tat stuff, tat only means she woves ya. Now why dun ya pway with my niece fow a whiwe? She needs a diapeed guawd to pwotect hew.”
Shining blushed, looking down at the thick padding bulging out beneath his costume. “Yeah, I guess ya wight. Cady a pwincess, and pwincesses need pwotection. But Cady awso got wipstick aww ovew hew face. I dun wan hew wipstick getting aw ovew my face, it tastes icky.”
Flurry giggled. “Awight, I’ww tew Cady she cwean hewsewf off. No wipstick ow anyting, is not fow foaws anyway.”
Shiny nodded in approval at the agreement. “Otay, I’ww pway with Cady. We diapee butts gotta stick togethew!” He waddled off as Flurry sighed. “Otay, now just need to hewp Mommy.”
Flurry flew over to Cadence, who was talking to a baby Blueblood. He was a small foal with a thick golden diaper, and was shaking his head and making a bleh sound. “Nu-uh, dun wana kiss ya! Tat gwoss! I gonna get cooties!”
Cadence whined as she stomped about. “But Bwuebwood, I wanna pway wedding!”
Blueblood whined. “No, du wana! Wedding is fow dumb wittie fiwwes! I gonna go pway Gawopin Gawa, is the onwy pwopew game fow foaws.”
The uptight foal ran off and Cadence was going to chase him, when Flurry came over. “Hey, guess what, Cady? Shiny is gonna pway wedding with ya.”
Cadence squealed happily at the news! “Yay! Shiny is so cute!” She eagerly led Flurry to the throne room again where everypony was still waiting, and Shining was near her throne, this time now fixing his diaper, with his shield cutie mark printed on the front. Cadence blushed.
Flurry giggled as she remembered. “Uh, it wooks gweat! But Shiny dun wan wipstick aw ovew his face. Besides, is not good fow foaws.”
Cadence nodded. “Wight,” She tugged at her long, flowig dress. ‘Ya gots baby wipes? Ya need tem to get ta wipstick off.”
“Of couwse, sweetheawt,” Flurry bent down and washed off the makeup and lipstick as Flurry nodded on seeing her mom’s pudgy face. “Ya wook good, now go on and kiss ya Shiny.”
Cadence squealed, running along towards Shining who blushed bright red! “Uh, Cady, so uh... we say somthin, wight?”
Cadence nodded in approval. “Yeah, I wuv Shiny vewy much and gwad he pwain wedding.”
The crowd dawwed as Shiny giggled. “Otay, my tuwn. Uh… I wuv Cady, she my bestest fwiend.”
The ponies giggled and Twilight Velvet cooed. “Oh how sweet. This is going right into the scrap book.”
Shiny blushed, but took the embarrassment in stride. And he then got out a plush gold ring, and put it over Cadence’s horn.
Flurry squealed as she instructed. “Now ya kiss!”
Cadence kissed Shining on the cheek, who squeaked and involuntarily started peeing his diaper with everyone dawwing or laughing, he just giggled and hugged Cadence who dawwed, wetting her diaper to support Shining.
Flurry took full advantafe of the scene to sneak off and run to Luna, who hugged her. “You did it, Flurry! You fixed the dream!”
Flurry looked up at her aunt. “Yeah. Bu I sowwie fow messin it up earwiwer.”
Luna cooed as she ruffled her niece’s mane. “That’s alright, I think we made a lot of progress regardless of the slip-up. Now how about we go see what Fizzlepop is up to?” She then put Flurry on her back and flew off to Pumpkin Cake’s dream, where it was now a nursery, but everything was made of candy.
Flurry’s eyes went wide as Fizzlepop and Pumpkin Cake were eating a package of diapers. They turned and encouraged together. “Come on, Flurry, ya gots to eat ta diapees! Tey taste wike marshmallows!”
Flurry gasped! “Weaywwy?!” Flurry bounced down, took a diaper, started chewing on it and squealed. “Oh, tis tastes dewicious!”
The foals all started eating everything from the playpen to the toys and Luna just watched with a smile as she thought. “Seems like everything is fine here. I'm going to check on Tinkle Shine and see if he’s okay… ”
Hours later, Princess Cadence woke from the strange dream of her being pregnant with Fizzlepop. She turned to see Shining smiling and saw some drool come down the side of his mouth, puckering his lips. Cadence smirked and kissed him on the cheek. She then slowly got out of bed, groaning as she looked down and blushed seeing that her teats were swollen. Now that she thought of it, it had been a while since she’d really breastfed Flurry. In fact, she’d been considering the fact that it might be time to start waning Flurry off of it.
The princess blushed and went to the kitchen where she brewed some coffee. But the aches from below started to make her look around as she whispered. “Does Twilight Velvet still have her old machine?”
Being the curious sort (and desperate for a way to drain her teats before anyone saw her in this state) scurried to the basement and flicked on a light, seeing that the room was filled with Twilight’s and Shining’s old things, boxes of toys and foal supplies.
At last, she found the old machine and sighed in relief. Cadence quickly left the basement and settled down on a chair as she hooked the machine up and drained herself, filling it with her excess milk. She waited for some time in the kitchen alone listening to the machine hum, when she saw Shining coming down the hall groaning and rubbing his eyes. He squeaked upon seeing the sight that greeted his eyes. “Oh no, you’re pregnant again!”
Cadence looked up with a slight glare and shushed him as she pointed to the nursery, and he squeaked before turning over to face his wife. “Oh, sorry. Forgot about the little ones for a moment.”
Cadence whispered back. “Actually, I’m not pregnant. It’s just... I've been having weird dreams,” She stopped the machine, feeling satisfied, and instantly took out two foal bottles and poured the tub of milk into each.
Shining blushed. “Um, what are the dreams about?”
Cadence sighed. “Well…don’t laugh at me, but…”
Shining Armor crossed his heart. “I promise not to laugh, sweetie. Now tell me”
The princess of love sighed. “Well, I’ve been dreaming about Fizzlepop, and being pregnant with her for some reason.”
Shining smirked. “Well…I guess you really want another foal.”
Cadence twisted the tops of the bottles on and placed them aside. ”Yeah, I do, more than anything. Flurry Heart could use a sibling.”
Shining blushed. “My dream was crazier. I dreamt of being turned into a foal, you were one too, and we were playing wedding. And somehow, Princess Celestia was involved in it, but she seemed a lot younger.”
Cadence giggled a little and asked. “You sure you don’t want to be a foal, even just a little? I’m sure Twilight still has the spell that turned Fizzlepop into a foal, and after what Fizzlepop and Flurry did yesterday...”
Shining squeaked in protest.“Please, don’t! I don’t want to be regressed!”
Cadence smiled at her husband and cooed. ”I’m only joking. As adorable as you would be as a foal, Flurry needs you. Besides, I think if we do adopt Fizzlepop that’ll probably satisfy these maternal instincts for a while.”
Shining was going to say something, before a sudden knock came at the door.
Cadence turned to it and saw a fancy letter pop through.
Just then, the two little foals started wailing and Cadence rushed to the nursery, picking up Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart in her hooves. She hushed them and took them to a nearby rocking chair.
Then Fizzlepop woke up, and started to whimper and kick about in her thick, crinkly diaper. Cadence hushed her as she held the baby close to her chest. She took out the warm baby bottles, filled with a thick, creamy milk, and plucked one into Flurry heart’s and Fizzlepop’s mouth.
Flurry Heart recognized the strange milky substance immediately, squealing and flapping her wings in joy.
Fizzlepop, on the other hoof suckled on it trying to figure out what she was drinking. Then it hit her, it was breastmilk! But she continued suckling on it anyway, loving the warm, creamy substance.
Cadence cooed. “That’s right, sweetheart, it’s my milk. I hope you don’t mind, my hormones haven’t completely faded from Flurry’s pregnancy, and I thought maybe you could have some. It’s nutritious for foals too.”
Fizzlepop smiled and continued suckling the bottle, draining it slowly and kicking about in her diaper, feeling satisfied. Cadence just watched the two with a motherly smile printed on her face as she turned to Shining, who was holding the strange letter. “Who’s the letter from?”
Shining held it up. ”Uh, Fizzlepop’s parents. Looks like they responded.”
Cadence took the envelope with her magic, opening it and revealing the letter proper as it read:
Dear Princess Cadence,
This is a formal letter regarding my daughter, Fizzlepop.
My name is Fizzle Beacon Berrytwist, and I have heard the tale of how our dear daughter became an evil and cruel pony working for the Storm King.
I apologize for her awful behavior, and I am glad to hear she was regressed into a foal. She needs a second upbringing, so I can help her become the good little filly she was always meant to be.
My wife and I are aware of Fizzlepop’s magic surges and are concerned that they may ruin our new house we just bought. So we ask that once she has completed her training in Magic Daycare, send her certificate, and we will arrive shortly after to take her back and raise Fizzlepop.

P.S.: If you could, have her start being toilet trained. I would rather not have to endure dealing with diapers again. She shouldn’t be too difficult though, she graduated from diapers long before most foals her age.
Cadence was stunned at the letter and whispered. “My goodness, This Fizzle Beacon is quite a pony. I’m not sure if it’s just the letter, but it doesn’t sound like he really cares for her at all. He wants us to do all the hard work of raising his foal for him,” She looked down at Fizzlepop as she picked the filly up and held her close. “I promise if your parents are cruel, I won’t let them take you.”
Fizzlepop beamed a smile, but Shining looked down not knowing what to say and whispered. ”Cadence, she’s their daughter. We would be breaking the law if we don’t follow through with their wishes.”
Cadence rolled her eyes and explained. “Shining, I’m not saying we foalnap her and we run away to Saddle Arabia. I’m just saying we can protect Fizzlepop if necessary from being raised by cruel parents. Trust me, there is always a way. Even if we have to contest the order in court”
Shining looked down at Fizzlepop, who was still sucking away on the bottle of his wife’s’ milk, and commented. “I hope you’re right.” In his mind he thought. “I’m growing attached to her too. ”

Chapter Seven: A Prince of the Night?
Tinkle Spark woke up, whimpering as he rubbed his eyes. The little colt looked down and around the empty crib, before he looked up at Luna peering down at the young colt. He then squeaked as he looked down to see a big thick diaper with little moons printed on it, and he asked. “Hey, Pwincess Wuwu, did ya put me in a thick diapee?”
Luna drifted him up to her as she nuzzled him. “Yes I did, sweetums.” The mare kissed the little colt on the forehead and hugged him.
He blushed as he looked up. “So awe ya gonna tew me how I can dweam wawk now?”
The princess of the night plopped him down as she cooed. “Yes, soon after we finish our deal. I promised to help your friends, so now you owe me a favor.”
Tinkle blushed. “Ya mean ya gets to baby me?” He then felt his body shrink as he regressed in age, his diaper staying relatively thick.
Luna picked him up and cuddled him. ”Yep, now no more fussing,” She then took out a foal bottle filled to the brim with her breastmilk, and plucked it into his mouth. He suckled it for some time, loving the creamy substance that went down his throat. After finishing and burping him. Luna looked down. “Now sweetheart I’m going to tell you a story…A long time ago, there were many ponies that could dream walk just like me. Ponies ranging from earth ponies to unicorns as they used to help control the dream realm. But when my sister and I became princesses we decided I would be the only one patrolling it. So the ponies who could dream walk did it for their own amusement, or just stopped doing it entirely. In fact I believe that the original ponies that could were descendants of a relative of mine. The practice faded and for years I thought that all the dream walkers had vanished…until only a few weeks ago I saw you comforting your mom in a dream.”
Tinkle nodded as he explained. ”Yeah, she was cwyin because we weft Ponyville, so she had to wave some fwiends behind, and I wanted to turn her into a foal and pway and tew her I her bestest fweidn in ta whowe wowd!”
Luna nuzzled him and cooed. “I know. And upon seeing that, I knew you had to be a dream walker. Not only that, you were using your abilities to help others. So that’s why I've started training you.”
Tinkle smiled. “Does tat mean ya wike a auntie?”
Luna’s heart fluttered upon hearing that, and she hugged him. “Sure, why not? I always did think I would make a great aunt.”
Tinkle squealed in delight! “Hooray! Wew, Auntie Wuwu, wha do ya want to do now?” He then blushed, seeing his diaper grow yellow and sagging.
The princess patted his poofy garment and cooed. ”First, I think you need a change.” She proceeded to change the soggy garment and taped him up in a new diaper. The colt looked around aimlessly at the starry ceiling, before he was picked up and given a raspberry.
The colt squealed and kicked about. “Tat tickles, Auntie.”
Luna booped his nose. “I bet it does. So now that you know why I’m training you, what do you think? Do you want to be a dream walker?”
Tinkle paused as he considered. “Wew... suwe, guess is fun. But I wana see Shiny in potty twaining, maybe I’ww wearn someting fwom watching him do it..”
Luna sighed. “Well, he’s awake now, maybe later tonight.”
Tinkle eyed the night princess. “Tonight?! Oh, it’s mownin, huh?” Luna nodded as he asked. “Otay, so how about later?”
Luna nuzzled him. “Sure. Just remember to tell Cadence or another grown-up you need a change when you wake up.”
Tinkle blushed, realizing what that would mean. “So, I weawwy peed my diapee in my sweep?”
“Afraid so,” Luna answered, but then nuzzled him. “It's alright. In a year or two, I’ll teach you some tricks on holding your bladder at night.”
Tinkle nuzzled back underneath the blankets as :una tucked him in underneath the soft foal blanket. He whispered. “Goodnight Auntie Wuwu.”
The princess kissed the little colt on the forehead and whispered. “Goodnight, my sweet little prince.”
Tinkle woke up in a normal crib later that morning and looked around, rubbing his eyes. Then he looked down at his saggy diaper and poked it, sighing. “Mommy Wight, I a heavy wettew.”
Twilight Velvet peeked into the room and asked. “Hey sweetheart, how are you?” Tinkle Shine stood on his hind hooves with his yellow stained diaper sagging between his legs. With a smile, Velvet came up, picked the colt up from his crib, and placed him onto the changing table. She un-taped the diaper and started cleaning him.
Tinkle blushed and asked. “So um, gots question.”
Twilight Velvet looked over and giggled. “Ask away, sweetie.”
The colt asked. “Um...wew, I was told by Pwincess Wwuw she wans to be my auntie, is tat otay?”
Velvet giggled. “Oh really? The princess wants to be your aunt?”
Tinkle shrugged. “Dun know, but she weawwy nice and is twainin me to be a dweam wawkew, wike hew.”
Velvet blushed as she finished taping up his diaper and helped him down. “Well I have to say, you’re doing a lot for being only three years old and not even out of diapers. But isn't’ dream walking hard?”
Tinkle giggled. “Yeah, but is wots of fun! Wuwu wets me pway with otha foaws my age and tew them tat bein in diapess is otay.”
Velvet patted his diaper. “Oh, you’re so cute! I can see why Flurry and Fizzlepop loved playing with you. Now come on, Cadence is making everypony breakfast. And you don’t wanna miss the most important meal of the day.”
“Yay!” Tinkle squealed, as he waddled down the hallway and came into the kitchen. The aruoma of pancakes and eggs wafting from the stovetop. Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart were in highchairs being fed oatmeal by Shining, who had traces of the brown goop all over his fur, but he didn’t mind.
Tinkle squealed as he climbed onto a chair and asked. “Ooh, can I have sywup aww over my pancakes?”
Cadence slid over a plate of pancakes smothered in syrup with a smiley face made of whip cream, and blueberries for eyes. The colt giggled, bouncing in his seat as he was given a rubber fork and knife, and Cadence asked. “Do you need me to cut it up for you?”
Tinkle shook his head. “No, I can eat it aww by mysewf,” He started chowing down on his nice breakfast. “Yay, it’s tasty! Tank you, Auntie Cady!”
Cadence giggled. “Um...I'm not your aunt, sweetie. I’m just Flurry Heart’s mom.”
Tinkle blushed. “Oh... wew Wuwu says she my auntie, doesn't tat make you and Pwincess Tia my aunties too?”
Cadence blinked. “Wait...did Princess Luna come into your dream last night?”
Tinkle nodded. “Yeah. She said I a dweam wawkew, and she said she my auntie.”
Shining Armor and Cadence turned to look at each other with surprised looks, and Shining turned back and asked. “So is that true? Are you related to Luna?”
Tinkle giggled. “Yeah! Does tat make me a pwince of ta night?!”
Shining and Cadence both looked over at each other with surprised glances.
Later that morning Golden Spark was getting ready to go to Twilight Velvet’s house. She was in her bathroom, brushing her mane and sighed, seeing her little Sparkle Light sleeping soundly in her crib. She smirked and turned back to the mirror, fixing her mane. Then she sighed again, seeing the bags under her eyes. She rubbed them while yawning. “Maybe I’ll ask Cadence if Tinkle Shine can stay over for a few more days. Maybe she can even help potty train him.”
Then she heard a knock and quickly ran downstairs, thinking. “Oh come on, I just put the baby to sleep! ”
The mare came down the stairs, headed to the doorway, and opened it and gasped upon seeing Princess Luna. She bowed and whispered. “Pr..Pr..Princess Luna!?”
Luna blushed. “It’s alright. I...uh...need to talk about your son.”
Golden got up with a worried look on her face. “What about him, did he do something wrong?”
Luna shook her head. “No...I may have done something wrong. In fact, I should've told you this sooner,” Golden was blinking in confusion as Luna sighed. “Can we talk about this inside? Maybe it’ll be best if we’re both settled down for the conversation.”
“Of course, I’ll go make us some tea.” Golden offered.
Luna strode in as the mare quickly shut her door, and went to the back to start boiling some tea. Luna sat patiently in the living room, smiling at the family photos of young Tinkle Star with Golden pregnant, and a handsome stallion standing next to his family.
Golden Spark came back with a tray, as she settled it down and asked while sitting down. “So what’s all this about, princess?”
Luna just took her tea and blushed. “Well you see, your son is... a dream walker. And he and I have been working together for some time.”
Golden Spark blinked. “W-what?! What do you mean?!”
Luna sighed. “Let me explain. To put it simply, your son can go into other ponies dreams.”
Golden blinked as she thought back to a dream she’d had when she first moved to Canterlot. A dream where she’d played with her son...but she was also a filly his age. The mare whispered. “So..all those stories of him helping you were real?”
Luna giggled. “Well, sort of...but he’s doing well in his training. And in fact, last night we, helped two little fillies in dealing with their magic surges.”
“You mean Princess Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop.” Golden concluded.
Luna nodded. “Exactly, and in fact...I think he may be of great help to them. But I also think it’s about time we had your approval for him to be a certified dream walker.”
Golden Spark sipped a cup of tea and then asked. “Well, is dream walking dangerous?”
Luna shook her head and continued. “Not really. In fact, until he’s much older, he won’t be going anywhere near nightmares.”
Golden Spark nodded. “Then of course he can dreamwalk. In fact...believe it or not, him dream walking helped me cope with living here,” She sighed. “Moving here was tough. I left a lot of good friends in Ponyville, and it’s been rough having two foals now.”
Luna nodded. “Well if you need help with foalstiing, I know a mare or two who would love to watch your foals.”
Golden laughed. “Alright...Well, I’m guessing you're wondering if I'm going to leave Tinkle Shine to help Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop.”
Luna sighed. “Only for a little bit...I can’t be there all the time, but he’s been a very good friend of theirs from what I’ve seen so far.”
Golden smirked. “Okay, only for a little while longer. But I’m still going to come by to hug him.”
Luna smiled. “Of course...now, we’d better discuss this with the others.”
A short time later ,Shining Armor and Cadence were sitting down with Luna and Golden Spark (who was holding little Sparkle Light in her hooves) as Luna was explaining things. “It seems that Tinkle Spark is going to be the one who will help Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop get their magic surges under control.”
Golden Spark explained. “I’ve already talked it over with Princess Luna. I’m fine with him staying here as long as you're okay with it.”
Cadence blushed as Shining gulped, “Uh, you sure that’s a good idea? I mean, can’t Tinkle Spark just dream walk from his house?”
Luna explained. “He can...but he can get lost in the dream realm, it’s a very big place. And if you don’t know your way around it’s easy to get lost. It would be much easier if they all slept within the same vicinity. And it will make it easier for me just in case they get out of hoof.”
Shining and Cadence looked at each other, blushing as they thought about last night. Then Cadence whispered. “We’re fine with that. Just make sure they know to stay out of our dreams unless we give permission. And the same goes for the dreams of any other ponies they happen to stumble across.”
Tinkle Spark was gulping and scrunching his diaper as Cadence then asked him. “So, little Tinkle Spark, it’s up to you. Do you want to stay here with us for a little bit longer?”
He jumped and down in excitement! “Yeah, I wan to! Tat sounds wike wots of fun!” The adults all laughed as he ran to his mother and hugged her legs. “Mama, I gonna miss ya.”
Golden Spark nuzzled him. “Oh, don’t worry. I’m going to come by everyday so you know how I much love you,” She kissed him on the forehead as the little colt ran off to the nursery shouting “Fizzlepop! Flurry Heart! I stayin!”

Chapter Eight: A Night in the Dream Realm
Two weeks later…
Back at Magical Daycare, Rebecca Pie was busy looking over her charges as she usually did. Tinkle Spark was busy playing tag with Flurry Heart and Fizzlepop. The three of them constantly booping each other.
Fizzlepop was busy building a fort out of giant foam blocks, lifting them with her horn and stacking them on top of each other. Flurry Heart was doing the same, and Rebecca Pie took noticed. “My my, you two are doing very well.”
Fizzlepop nodded and rubbed her horn, babbling incoherent gibberish.
Rebecca nodded in approval. “Very well done, Fizzlepop! You’re improving so well, and so fast! I’m impressed,” The teacher then turned to Flurry Heart also levitating the foam blocks. She just smiled and cooed, “I have to say, you two are the fastest learners I’ve ever seen. What’s you secret?”
Tinkle Spark waddled up and explained. “Weww, we pway in owa dweams and weawn things. Fizzy’s learning not to be scared and Flurry is learning to control hew excitement. I hewp them with both.”
Rebecca Pie nodded. ”Good. We’re having an evaluation next week, and at this rate, I think that these two could graduate from Magic Daycare soon.”
Tinkle Spark nodded. “Otay, sounds gweat!”
Rebecca Pie smiled as she went over to check on the other foals. Then Fizzlepop turned and asked Tinkle Sprk. “Hey, Tinkle Sprk, wha is a e-e-eva-evathingy?”
Tinkle Spark perked up as he expalined. “Oh, wew evewy month we do a evaluhh… thingy to see if ya can gwaduate Magic Daycawe. If ya do good, ya get to go magic pweschoow whew ya weawn ABC’s and tings wike tat.”
Flurry Heart waddled over with a worried look. “But dun ya two wemeba wha my mommy said, if we gwaduate, Fizzy is gonna go back to hew meanie pawents and weave us fowevew.”
Fizzlepop looked down and sniffled. “So…I ethew faiw ta test and stay hewe, ow pass and go with my meanie pawents? I dun wanna weave my fwiends.”
Tinkle Spark started stacking blocks as he explained. “Well, ya can just fail it. It’s not wike ya have to twy evwy month, and ya can stay in magic dawcawe fow as wong as ya wike if ya do. Heck we had a few ponies stay hewe untiw tey wewe wike six!”
Fizzlepop sighed. “But ten Cady may not wike me if she sees I keep having magic sugwes, espciawwy on puwpose. Eithew way, I gonna be going back to my meanie parents and weave ya both behind. Is not fair!” The little filly wailed, with tears running down her cheeks as she waddled off, and Tinkle Sparke ran after her. The colt finally caught up with the filly crying in the corner of the daycare.
Tinkle sat down beside her with a plop and told her. “Hey, dun be sad. You’re not goin’ back to ya meanie parents.”
Fizzlepop rubbed a hoof across her tear stricken face and asked. “How do you know?”
Tinkle Spark got up as he told her. “Because ya a good fiwwy and my bestest fwiend, and babies can do what babies gots to do. I gonna make suwe ya gwaduate magic dawcawe and keep ya here with Cady.”
Fizzlepop smiled. “Otay, wew we can twy I guess. But whats ta pwan?”
Tinkle Spark sat down, suckling a pacifier before he gasped! “I gots it! Ya can be a gweat fiwwy fow Cady, but be a naughty filly fow ya pawents!”
Fizzlepop smiled and bounced on her diaper more quickly as her excitement built. “That actually sounds wike a gweat idea! Tey vewy picky, and if tey see tat I weawwy cwanky and smewy and stuff then tey wun adopt me!” But then she suddenly stopped bouncing. “But I dun wanan be a bad fiwwy, I twyin to be good. I even supposed to stawt weawening how to use ta potty.”
Tinkle Spark replied to Fizzlepop. “Is just acting, ya dun have to weally do it a wot. In fact, I know a pony who can hewp us.”
Fizzlepop raised an eyebrow. “Who is tat? You got anothew fwiend we haven’t met?”
Tinkle Spark raised his hooves in the air as he exclaimed! “His name somby and he’s ta biggest poopy head I’ve eva met! I’ll show him to ya both tonight!”
“Weawwy? Bu how? I heawd Mommy and Daddy say he got bown up befowe I was bown!” Flurry Heart babbled, having overheard the conversation.
“Wew, somehow pawt of him suwvived, and now he in te deam wealm,” Tinkle Spark explained. “I onwy visit him once, bu I wemembew how to find him.”
Later that night, Tinkle Spark was once again with Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart in the dream realm. The two fillies stood as Tinkle Spark was explaining things. “Otay I tink ya two awe doin supew wew on weawning to contwow ya magic. So tonight, we instead gonna weawn things to hewp Fizzy stay with Cady and not go with hew meanie pawents.”
Flurry nodded and babbled. “I gonna go see Daddy in potty twaining while ya and Fizzy goes find Somby. But be cawefuw, I heawd he supew scawy.”
Tinkle Spark shook his head. “Nah, not anymowe, Wuna found him some time ago and put him in a dweam jaiw, he can’t bothew ya.”
Fizzlepop blushed at the thought of there being a prison within dreams. “Weally? Whas the dream he’s twapped in?”
Tinkle Spark giggled. “It’s a dwaem whew he goes thwough wife as a foal and Pwincess Cady’s his mommy. You gonna meet him, cause ya gots to learn to act wike tat with ya pawents so tey won’t adopt you.”
Fizzlepop sighed as she bounced on her diaper. “I’m not really suwre if tis is a good idea. Whenever I acted battwy towads my pawents, I got gwounded.”
Tinkle Spark threw up a hoof. “Tey can’t do tat if tey not ya parents. Come on, Sombra’s tis way,” They were lead to a strange red bubble and Fizzlepop shuddered, but Tinkle Spark placed a hoof on her back. “Dun worry, he can’t do anything to ya. Undewstand?”
Fizzlepop nodded, but still closed her eyes as she entered through. On the other side, she opened them and saw that she was in a nursery of some sort, with foal toys scattered all over, and bright blue pull-ups thrown all over the place.
In the middle of the room, something caught Fizzlepop’s eye. A little black coated colt was whining and fussing as a “fake” Cadence was putting him in a fresh pull-up.“Somby, for the hundredth time, stop this right now!”
Sombra shook his head. “No, dun wana dwess in puww-ups, ya not my mommy!”
Cadence eyed the little colt. “Somby, you know you can’t leave until you start behaving better. Those are the rules”
But Sombra shook his head. “Nuh uh, not gonna eva wisten to ya!”
Cadence scoffed. “Fine, little trouble maker, it looks like diapers again for you,” She poofed a thick, pink poofy diaper with her cutie mark on it onto his rump. “You’ll have to wear that all night, or day in your dream case.”
Sombra grumbled and plopped onto his diaper, he hated it.
Cadence shook her head, then turned to see Fizzlepop. “Oh, I didn’t know I was going to have visitors,” She hastily greeted. “Luna usually tells me in advance when she comes over to check on the prisoner..”
Tinkel Spark waddled up and explained. “Well, uh Cady, ya see… um... I want Fizzlepop to pway with baby Somby.”
Fizzlepop nodded, playing along. “Yeah, uh…I was a bad fiwwy who tuwned good in ta weaw wowd and I want to see if maybe I can hewp him behave.”
Cadence chuckled. “Alright, I’ll let you play with Sombra until he calms down. But I must warn you, he’s not very nice.”
Fizzlepop giggled. “It’s otay, this is a dweam, so I know nothin’ bad can happen.”
Cadence nodded and left as Fizzlepop waddled to the angry colt he glared at her. “Wha do you want, fiwwy?”
Fizzlepop sat down on her diaper and asked. “So, guess ya in big twobwe?”
Sombra nodded and mumbled. “Wew, yeah, I did twy enswavin aw of ta Cwystaw Empiwe. And I got bown-up fow it.”
Fizzlepop looked down and whispered. “I tried enswaving Cantewot to get my hown back, so we awent too diffewent.”
Sombra growled as he stomped around his room. “When ta weaw Cadence twied to destwoy me, I came hewe in ta this dweam weawm wherew Pwincess Wuwu tuwned me into a foaw and wocked me up. She says I stayin in diapees and puww-ups untiw I weawn to be a good colt. Is so not fair.”
Fizzlepop sighed. “Well why dun ya twy being good? Twust me I weawn my weason and am twyin to be bettew. Is not bad, actuawwy.”
Sombra plopped onto the seat of his diaper and crossed his forehooves in defiance. “No, I dun wana. Being bad is good.”
Fizzlepop rolled her eyes. “Otay, wew if ya dun wan to be good tats fine. I weawwy came hewe to weawn how to be naughty.”
Sombra laughed and started kicking his hooves in delight! “Oh, otay. Wew ya gonna weawn fwom ta mastew! Come on wets stawt by steawin cookies!” He ran off as Fizzlepop gulped and thought. “I hope we don’t do too much damage. Even if that Cadence is fake, she can alert Luna and I can get in really big trouble in the waking world! ”
Tinkle Spark left Sombra’s dream prison and lead Flurry to Shining’s blue bubble again, here Flurry saw something fun. Shining was a toddler in bright blue pull-ups with his cutie mark, donned in plastic armor, and a rubber sword at his side. He was standing at attention with other colts all wearing the same foal armor and foam toys as Princess Celestia was coming down the castle the hallway with a motherly smile. “Alright little foals, today, while you play ‘Royal Guard’ make sure you ask me if you need to go potty, okay?”
They all nodded “Yes, Pwincess Tia.”
Celestia giggled. “Oh, and the foal who doesn’t have an accident gets to ride with me to raise the sun tomorrow.”
The colts all became excited, but maintained their composure and said. “Otay, Pwincess Tia.” She then came down and said to them. “Now come on, give your princess a hug.” They all tackled the sun princess as she laughed, and smothered each guard with kisses.
Flurry flapped her wings and bounced in excitement wanting to join in on the fun. And Tinkle Spark giggled. “Otay, Flurry. Better put ya in a disguise so ya don’t wuin ta dweam.”
Flurry nodded and let Tinkle Spark dress her like a baby version of Princess Luna, with a short, dark blue starry mane, a matching blue coat, and dark green eyes. The baby alicorn squealed and flew off while shouting. “Yay, I Auntie Wuwu!”
Tinkle Spark put on some fake foal armor and a matching foam sword. “Alright, I’ll keep an eye on Flurry. We’re just here to watch Shining potty train, not embewass him. ” He thought to himself. He ran off and folloed Flurry over to see her tackle Princess Celestia, who nuzzled her. ”Oh, hello Luna. Do you want to see the big colts?”
Flurry flapped her wings and nodded. “Yeah, wana pway with colts!”
Shining giggled. “We pwayin woyaw guawds! We gots to pwotect the pwincess fwom meanine bully Prince Blueblood.”
One guard giggled. “Yeah, but ya shouwd be pwotecting ya fiwwy Cady. Bet he gots cooties fwom kissin hew.”
All the other guards giggled and cried out in chorus. “Ewww!”
Shining pouted furiously. “I dun got cooties!”
Celestia cooed, stopping the argument. ”Now now, no fighting,” She lightly scolded. “You can all play royal guard while I go do big pony things. Just come and find me if you have to go potty.” And she then departed.
Shining turned to Flurry, not recognizing her through her disguise. “So, Pwincess Wuwu, ya ta pway pwetty pwincess. And I got to pwotect ya fwom ta monstews undew ta bed.”
Many of the other colts whimpered, and one started peeing his pull-up as he whined. “Du..du wana fight ta monstew undew ta bed.”
Shining turned. “But we gots to! I the captain, and I say ya can’t be scawed of ta monstews!”
Tinkle Spark came up to Shining. “Wew, we aw need night wights and teddies fow pwotection. The monstews awe scawed of night lights and teddies.”
The foals all looked at each other, still unsure, as Shining sighed. “Fine, I’ww beat the mosntew. Come on, Wuwu.” He led Flurry away as Tinkle Spark followed close behind.
Fizzlepop was now on a kitchen counter, with Somby standing over a jar of cookies. He bounced on his back legs with anticipation. “Look at all the cookies! “ He took a hoofful and shoved them into his mouth! He chomped down and rubbed a chocolate covered hoof over his belly, moaning in delight. “Yum.”
Fizzlepop giggled, as she took a hoofful and shoved the cookies into her mouth. “Oh, they're so good! I used ta do tis aww at the time, bu my mommy and daddy wouwd awways say ‘cookies awe fow dessewt onwy’.”
Sombra nodded. “Gown-ups stink. Don’t ya see, being naughty can be fun!” Then he turned to the red bubble and smirked. “In fact, we can have mowe fun going into anothew pony’s dweam.”
Fizzlepop gulped. “Uh, I dun know…”
Sombra poked her belly. “Come on, pwease? I pwomice we’ll be wight back aftew we have some fun. Ya wanted to wean how be naughty, wight?”
Fizzlepop grumbled. “Otay, but ya gots to pwomice we go stwaight back aftew one dweam.”
Sombra shook his hoof. “Pwomice.”
They then crawled to the portal and Fizzlepop lead Sombra out. He giggled in delight! “Yes, I fwee!” He jumped into the air, but then looked around, seeing the thick pink diaper still strapped around his rump, and his chubby belly. “What?! Bu…but why am I stiww a foaw?!”
Fizzlepop growled at Sombra. ”I knew ya was twyin to twick me!”
Sombra babbled. ”Yeah, so what? Ya dumb enough ta twust me!” He stuck his tongue out in protest. “I may onwy be a foaw, but I stiww gonna be a meanie in otha ponies dweams. Just watch me!” He waddled off as Fizzlepop chased after him!
They both fell into Celestia’s dream. Here, she was in Cheerilee’s class, talking about the sun and how cool it was. Sombra popped in and waddled over. “Awso di ya aww know tat Tia is a poopy, meanie head? She bwows ya up if you don’t agree with hew.”
Celestia and Cheerilee both looked down and Celestia giggled. “Oh my, how did you get out of your daycare prison, mister cranky pants?”
Sombra looked up. “Dun know, but why ya in diapees?” Celestia eyed him, and suddenly squeaked as she felt something poof around her! She looked down to see a diaper with a big smiling sun printed on it as she whined. “Hey!”
Sombra laughed wickedly and poofed a yellow bib and baby bonnet onto Celestia, smirking. “Aww, look, it’s Tia ta baby.”
The class all started laughing. So did Cheerilee, as Celestia backed up, whimpering.
Fizzlepop came down from above, having seen everything. “Stop it, Somby! This has gone too faw!”
Sombra stuck his tongue out. “So what? How ya gonna stop me?!”
Fizzlepop babbled. “By tweating ya wike ta wittwe foaw ya awe!” She then poofed Sombra into a baby bouncer. As Sombra bounced up and down, she turned to Celestia, and poofed her into a foal and now the class was dawwing as Cheerile came over. “Hey, where did all you foals come from?”
Sombra tired to say something, but he was now suckling a pacifier, and Cheerilee picked him up first. “Oh my, looks like he’s quite the little stinker.” She took him to change the colt in front of the class as he kicked and wailed.
Fizzlepop giggled and poofed herself and Celestia over to see Sombra’s diaper now untaped, with Cheerilee wiping him down.
Celestia turned, still in her foalish state. ”So, Fizzlepop, I guessin ya was ta one who wet Somby out of his nuwsewy?”
Fizzlepop whimpered and confessed. “Yeah…I was twyin to weawn how to be naughty.”
Celestia giggled and asked. ”Why? Being naughty is bad, dun ya know that?”
Fizzlepop turned. “Pwincess Tia, my pawnets awe weawwy mean, and tey said if I pass Magic Daycawe and am potty twained, tey gonna take me back! I…I want to twick them when they come so they dun take me! Weaning how to be naughty was the onwy way!”
Celestia listened intently to everything Fizzlepop told her, and then commented. “Well..that does sound wike a good pwan. In fact, Cady told me about the situation, and I've been looking into Equestiran adoption law I couldn’t find anything that could help. Luckily, ya just might have found a loophole.”
Fizzlepop blushed. “Really, ya suppowt my pwan?”
Celestia nodded, ”I do, but ya bettwew keep it a secwet. So ya just focus on gwaduating Magic Daycawe fow now heck I can teach ya a few twicks on being naughty.”
Fizzlepop giggled. ”Weawwy?!”
Celestia nodded. “Uh-huh. Now wets get Somby back to ta nursery befowe Wuna finds out.” They turned to see him blushing, being held up in a super thick diaper with ABC printed on the front as Cheerilee proclaimed. “And that, class, is how you change a diaper!”
Back in Shining’s dream, he, the guards, and Flurry and Tinkle in disguise, went up the castle steps to find the baby Prince Blueblood sitting on the top of stairs, crying. Shining waddled up to him. “Hey, Bwuey what’s wrong?”
Blueblood whimpered. “Shiny, t-thewe’s a monstew unedw my bed. I so scawed, I did a pee pee in my pull-up. I gonna get a stormy cloud stickew on my chawt.”
Shining helped him up and reassured him. “Oh, tats otay, I got a bunch of stowmy cwouds and waindwops too. Ta potty is bowin, diapees awe bettew. I onwy use ta potty cause it makes the gwown-ups happy. I’ll beat tat monstew fow ya.”
Blueblood snifled. “Otay, wew good wuck, Shiny. I gonna go get a changie.” He waddled down the stairs as Shining turned to the door and entered.
As Shining and Flurry looked under the bed, what popped out was an enchanted training potty. But it was a lot more monstorus in design, it was completely black in color and sharp teeth, not to mention glowing red eyes! Shining squeaked in fright, he was not prepared for this! “Oh no, how do you defeat a twining potty monstew?!” He whimpered, already peeing his pull-up.
But Flurry (not as frightened of little potties) waddled up to it, put her hooves on her hips and shouted. “Bad potty, ya stop bein a monstew! Ya pwincess commands you!” Then the teeth disappeared and the black color turned blue, complete with Shining’s cutie mark printed on it. Flurry turned to face Shining and shouted. “See, Shining Awmow, wook! It’s oaty! Ta potty’s not a monstew.”
Shining whimpered, scrunching his soggy pull-up. “Bu..but I’m still scawed.”
Flurry took Shining and slowly pulled down his pull-up. “It’s oaty, now come on. Show me how a big cowt uses his potty.”
Shining slowly waddled over, pulling his pull-up all the way down as Tinkle Spark and Flurry Heart watched, and he plopped down on the training potty.
Tinkle Spark came over. ”Wow, you’we so good at tat!” He exclaimed!
Shining nodded and hugged the two. “Tank you. I dun know why, bu ya two wook famiwiar and awe so cool!”
“Well, we gotta go now,” Flurry declared. “But maybe we can visit ya tomowwow to see how ya go potty? We actuawwy weawning how to use it owaselves.”
Shining squeals with excitement! “Sure, tat sounds like fun! Ya stick with me, and ya two awe gonna get potty charts covered in sunshine stickers!”
Meanwhile, in Sombra’s nursery prison, he was being scolded by the fake Cadence. “I can't believe you left! Bad colt you're going to be in super thick diapers for a week! And no sweets either!” She poofed him into a super thick diaper, with a stormy cloud with a frowny face printed on the front, and then placed him in a crib. Sombra grumbled, laying down as he suckled a bright pink pacifer.
Cadence turned to Fizzlepop, who whimpered and started peeing her diaper. Cadence sighed. “Well I heard everything, and Princess Celestia already explained it. But you can’t come back here again. At least without permission from one of the princesses. Sombra can’t be allowed to run off again. Even as a foal, if he were allowed to wander the dream realm unsupervised, there’s no telling what kind of trouble he could cause.”
Fizzlepop lowered her head and nodded. “I undewstand. I won’t wet him twick me again.”
Cadence cooed. “It’s alright. I actually think you could make a good role model for him.”
Fizzlepop turned to the angry colt and waddled over towards his crib, looking up at him. “Hey, wisten, Somby. If ya weawwy wants to pway with me and ya wants to weawn to be nice, I’ww come back some night.”
Sombra got up, his legs bowing from the thick diaper as he whimpered. “Otay. Maybe I can set-up a pwaydate aftew my time-out.” He then squeaked, plopping down on his padded rump and sending a cloud of foal powder into the air.
Fizzlepop giggled. “Otay, wew ya dun get into anymowe towbwe.”
Sombra sighed. “Awight, I’ww twy,” Fizzlepop waved a hoof and waddled through the portal as Sombra sighed. ”Wew if she was a bad pony and now is a good foal...maybe I can be a good foal too.” He thought out loud.
“Shining, Shining.” Shining Armor suddenly woke up with a start and mumbled. “Huh?! What?!”
Cadence peered over him. “Uh, Shining, sweetie are you okay?”
Shining happened to look down and saw he was on the toilet. He blinked and rubbed his eyes, he didn’t remember falling asleep on it. He specifically recalled climbing into bed. “Huh? What happened? How did I get here?”
Cadence shrugged. ”Don’t know. You just got up, muttering about fighting the monster under the bed, and then plopped on the toilet and raised your hooves as you said: ‘I went potty.’ like when you were a little colt. It was cute, but a little concerning.”
Shining groaned. “Oh, Fizzlepop and Flurry are behind this, I just know it.”
Cadence giggled. ”Don’t worry, nopony saw you,” She helped a still groggy Shining off the toilet and asked. “So what was the dream about?”
Shining blushed as he explained. “Well, I don’t remember the exact details, but it was about me as a foal, learning to use the potty. I guess the little ones wanted to face their fears over using the potty. We fought the monster until I got on it and peed into the bowl.”
Cadence burst into laughter and nuzzled him. “Oh, I wish I was there to see that. I remember all those pictures you showed me of Twilight potty training, they were adorable.”
Shining smirked. “Yeah, they were,” Then he asked. “But are you ready to potty train Flurry? I mean, you think she’s ready to give up her diapers?”
Cadence squeaked. “Oh no, not yet! But i’m glad she’s learning not to be afraid of the toilet. It’ll help when we try to work on potty training Fizzlepop, we’re still obligated to do that at the moment.”
Shining nodded. “Okay. I just hope there aren’t too many dreams like last night.”
Cadence then took out a form as she and her husband exited the bathroom. “On a more important note, we need to discuss Fizzlepop. I heard from her teacher how well she’s improving in her ability to control her magic, and she’s going to have her evaluation next week.”
Shining looked the form over and sighed. “Cadence, we don’t have a choice. We talked this over constantly with Celestia. If Fizzlepop’s parents come, they’ll take Fizzlepop and legally we can’t do anything.”
Cadence blushed. “Well, what if she fails the test?”
Shining eyed his wfie suspiciously. “What are you implying, Cadence?”
Cadence turned. ”I mean, Fizzlepop doesn’t need to completely control her magic with us. We love her just as much as we love Flurry. Why can’t we just take her out of the daycare right now and just let her be?”
Shining shook his head. “That’s too dangerous, and we’re going to eventually need to help calm her down,” Then he turned. “The only thing we can do, is see the parents for ourselves and evaluate them. If we know they’re bad and will abuse Fizzlepop, Celestia said she’ll trust us our report. And if they are cruel beyond reason or we see the slightest hint of abuse, we can keep Fizzlepop.”
Cadence rolled her eyes. “But what if they’ll be on their best behavior for the show? I know how nobles are. They can act nice to your face, but backstab you when it’s most beneficial to them.”
“I don’t doubt that, but we should prepare for the worst, Cadence,” Shining concluded. “I don’t like it anymore than you do, but our hooves are tied.”
Now it was Cadence’s turn to shake her head. “Well, there is another option, but it comes down to Fizzlepop herself.”
Shining eyed Cadence suspiciously. “And what is that?”
Cadence turned and explained. “Celestia told me in a dream last night, that Fizzlepop had a little adventure with Sombra. He’s imprisoned in the dream realm as a foal.”
Shining gasped! “Seriously?! Why would she do that?!”
Cadence giggled. ”She wanted to learn how to be naughty so she can trick her parents into not wanting her.”
Shining blinked. “Wow! She would do that…just to stay with us?”
Cadence nodded. “Yeah. amd I have to say, Fizzlepop is an ambitious little filly. She’s smart, talented, and kind.”
Shining hugged Cadence. “She reminds me of you if I’m being honest...but we have to keep this possibility to ourselves. We can’t let anypony suspect Fizzlepop’s intentions.”
Cadence laughed. “Yeah, I just can’t believe how smart is,” Then she trotted away. “Well i’m going to go help your mom make some breakfast,” But before she left she added. “If you need help going potty, just let me know, big colt.”
Shining just blushed as she gave a wink and closed the door behind her. “I am NEVER gonna live this down! ” He thought to himself.
Little Miss Tempest Tantraum
The day of (hopeful) graduation had arrived, but Fizzlepop was nervous as she was looking up at Rebecca Pie, who was talking to the other judges: a few unicorn stallions and mares, along with Princess Cadence. Fizzlepop was super nervous, bouncing on her diaper while trying to keep with the conversation, but her foalish mind kept drifting off as the big ponies discussed things about Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart. The little purple coated filly gulped and suckled on her hoof, trying to calm her nerves.
Flurry Heart flew by the scared filly and poked her friend’s poof diaper and asked. “So, ya weady to gwaduate?”
Fizzlepop shook her head. “Not weawwy, I scawed. What if I pass and my mommy and daddy come to take me away?”
Flurry gave Fizzlepop a pat on the back. “Hey, it’s otay, ya gonna be fine. We alweady knew tat and ya gots a coow pwan to keep ya hewe.”
Fizzlepop sighed and shrugged. “Maybe. I jus hope my pwan wowks.”
Flurry hugged Fizzlepop and held her close into her wings. “Ya not going anywhewe. Ya staying with me.” Fizzlepop hugged Flurry Heart back, and Cadence came over and dawwed at the touching scene.
Eventually the two broke the embrace and both looked up at Cadence, blushing as the older mare asked. “Hey you two, ready to show off your magic?” The fillies nodded and gave Cadence adorable smiles. The pink alicorn dawwed and nuzzled them. “Alright, well the judges are ready when you’re good to go. Just get out there and show your stuff.”
Fizzlepop gulped as she whimpered and turned to Flurry. “Can you go first, I scawed.”
Flurry turned to Fizzlepop. “Hey it’s otay, how about we go together?” Fizzlepop nodded as she took Flurry’s hoof and they waddled towards the judges, who were looking down at the two.
Fizzlepop whimpered, looking at the rubber balls rolling around the pink padded floor. Then she felt a stream of urine fill her diaper, and the white padding yellowed with a hiss.
But the judges didn’t seem to mind, in fact the mare judge just cooed. “Hey, it’s okay you two. Just go on and move the balls with your magic.”
Flurry giggled and lit her horn hovering two balls above her head with ease.
Fizzlepop (still embarrassed from her accident) calmed down by sucking on her hoof, then she turned to one red rubber ball and grunted as she moved it into the air, and hovered it a few feet into the air.
The judges nodded and wrote things down in their notebooks. Fizzlepop then turned to see an Ursa Minor teddy plopped down on the floor, and she squeaked as her horn started to fizzle! But she calmed down upon seeing the teddy wasn’t moving as she thought to herself. “This is just a part of the test, to make sure I can control my magic surges. ” Fizzlepop’s horn stopped fizzling and she concentrated on just keeping the ball floating in air. The judges nodded in approval and wrote more stuff down.
Flurry Heart. meanwhile,was busy giggling as she floated the balls in the air. All of a sudden her whammy dropped down and she squealed, waddling towards her favorite plushie. Her horn started to sparkle but she stopped and thought. “Wait, this is a test! Got to calm down, I want to graduate too and be with Fizzlepop! ”
Flurry calmed herself and gave a few deep breaths as she plopped down and hugged her snail plushie with her tiny hooves. The judges dawwed, wrote some more things down, and then they whispered amongst themselves as Flurry and Fizzlepop looked up with anticipation.
The mare judge came over and proclaimed. “Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart, you two have demonstrated the basics of using your magic without losing control. You two have now officially graduated magic daycare! Congratulations!”
The two fillies jumped in joy as Cadence rushed over and hugged the two. “Oh I’m so proud of you both!”
Fizzlepop nuzzled Cadence and felt happy as she felt the warmth radiating from Cadence’s fur.
Then Rebecca Pie came over and smiled as she proclaimed. “Well, I have to say, these two are the fastest to graduate from my daycare since Twilight.”
Cadence ruffled Flurry’s mane as she cooed. “Well Flurry is Twilight’s niece, so she has her genes,” Flurry beamed with pride, and then Cadence hugged Fizzlepop. “And Fizzlepop here has also grown so much in such a short amount of time.”
Rebecca Pie nodded, then explained. “Well, they can still come by whenever they like. The two are still a little too young to enroll in preschool at the moment, and I’m happy to watch the littles ones for you. They’ll make fine role models.”
Cadence looked up. “Well, we’ll stay here in Canterlot for a little bit longer, we have some... issues to take care of before we can take Fizzlepop back to the Crystal Empire with us.”
Rebecca dawwed. “Oh, are you planning to adopt her?”
Fizzlepop looked up at Cadence with a pleading look as the mare brushed a hoof over her head. “Well... we’ll have to see. But if everything goes well, Flurry will get a sister.”
Flurry squealed, flapping her wings in delight! “Ya heaw tat, Fizzy?! Ya gonna be my sissy!”
Fizzlepop just blushed as she nodded, while thinking. “I hope that’s true…I hope my plan will work… ”
Rebecca cooed as she asked Cadence. “So, what do you have planned for the celebration?”
“I’ve been meaning to take the two to Donut Joes’ for a while now.” Cadence explained.
Flurry squealed flapping her hooves. “Yay, donuts!”
Fizzlepop blushed while thinking to herself. “It’s been ages since I had a donut, this is going to be quite the experience. ”
Later that evening, Cadence was strapping the foals into a two seated stroller and Fizzlepop was nervous as Flurry bounced in her seat with excitement. “We going to get donuts!” Fizzlepop scrunched her diaper with a nervous look as Flurry looked over with a worried look and asked “Wha’s wrong?”
Fizzlepop looked up and whimpered. “Ya dun tink tat some big ponies awe stiww mad at me fow when I was a big meanie, do ya?”
Flurry threw up a hoof as she explained. “Wew ya did aw tose bad tings as a big pony. But ya a foaw now, and evewypony wuvs foaws.”
Fizzlepop scrunched her diaper, still nervous. “But ya suwe tey wun be mean to me?”
Flurry giggled and hugged her. “Ya a good fiwwy now, and ya gonna be my sissy and a pwincess, so ponies awe gonna wuv ya, I pwomice.”
Fizzlepop nodded as she started to bounce in her diaper. “Yeah, ya wight! Ooh, I can’t wait to be a pwincess!” She started to bounce in her seat with excitement as Cadence cooed. “Aww, look at you two,” Then she turned and called to her husband. “You ready to go?”
Shining just gulped as he shuffled in his hooves, trotting out. “I hope Donut Joe isn’t too angry at Fizzlepop. She did enslave some of his customers after all.”
Cadence rolled her eyes. “You worry too much, Shining. I mean she’s a foal now, and we can explain how she’s a changed filly. Besides, who could possibly be mad at such a cute face?”
Fizzlepop looked up, whimpering as she knew the grown-ups were talking about her. Cadence patted her head and cooed. “It’s alright, I’ll protect you. Trust me, you’re going to love Donut Joes’. I used to take your Auntie Twily there whenever she got good grades in school.”
Fizzlepop bounced on her diaper with excitement. Tinkle Spark then came waddling over and squealed. “Awe we weally going to Donut Joes’?!”
Cadence nodded again with a smile. “Yes, now come on. I need you to hold my hoof, I don’t want you getting lost in the city.” The colt nodded as he held onto the pink alicorn’s hoof and followed her, with Shining pushing the stroller and following close behind.
Fizzlepop gulped as she was pushed along. But to her surprise, the ponies that she’d once enslaved now just smiled and waved at her. The filly blushed and waved back as Flurry Heart hugged Fizzlepop and squealed. “See, wook! Ponies wuv ya! So dun wowwie about ta bad things ya did as a big pony.”
Fizzlepop smiled and hugged Flurry Heart. “Otay, I wun wowwie aboutr it anymowe. I’ww twy to be a happy fiwwy. If I weawned anything fwom Magic Daycawe, its ya gots to say sowwie when ya do somthin’ wong.”
Fizzlepop unbuckled herself as she stood on her chubby hind legs and waved back at the ponies and babbled. “Hey, I sowwie fow being a meanie poopy head. I was just twyin to get my hown back. I didn mean to cause so much twouble.” The ponies all dawwed and she blushed realizing that they probably heard nothing but baby babble.
Cadence gasped when she saw Fizzlepop standing up in the stroller! “Fizzlepop, sit down! You’re going to hurt yourself!” She helped the little filly get strapped back into the seat as she continued to push them along.
Shining giggled and asked. “What do you think she was trying to say?”
Cadence shrugged. “I have no idea, but you know how foals are, they just love attention.”
Tinkle Spark smirked and whispered. “Hey, Fizzlepop, ya know ponies can’t heaw ya, wight?”
Fizzlepop blushed, she had forgotten that fact. “Yeah, but at weast I twyin to say sowwie.”
The group eventually strode into Donut Joes’, the big earth pony stallion was busy serving some customers, when he turned to see Shining and Cadence trotting in, Shining pushing the stroller with the two excited foals. He beamed a smile at the two and greeted. “Hey you two! I haven’t seen either of you since the wedding!”
Donut Joe came over as Shining blushed. “Yeah well it’s been pretty busy since then, what with becoming Prince of the Crystal Empire and all.”
Donut Joe smirked staring down at the two foals, who were babbling and making grabby hooves at him. He dawwed. “Oh look, you’ve got two foals already-“ But then he peered at Fizzlepop, who blushed as she scrunched her diaper. Donut Joe looked up and asked. “So is this that Tempest pony who enslaved most of my customers?”
Shining gulped and nodded, as Cadence sighed. “Yeah, but she’s good now. And as you can see, she’s just a foal. I assure you, she’s not evil anymore.”
“Oh, I see,” Donut Joe replied. “Well… any foal is welcome at Donut Joes’,” The stallion then peered down at Tinkle Spark and asked. “Speaking of which, hello Tinkle Spark. How have you been?”
The little foal bounced up and down. “Doing gweat, Donut Joe! Can't wait to eat donuts!”
The stallion ruffled the colt’s mane. “Glad to hear that. Now come on let’s get you all seated.”
The two fillies squealed as they clapped their hooves together. Shining and Cadence placed their foals into highchairs and they sighed in relief as they plopped down on their seats, finally having a chance to settle down.
Donut Joe came by with a menu and asked. “So what do you want to start out with?”
Shining just sighed. “Some coffee and two plain donuts for me.”
Cadence blushed. “Um, I'll have a cup of tea and two powdered donuts with pink sprinkles please.”
Donut Joe wrote the orders down and turned to the foals. “So what will the little ones be having?”
Cadence giggled. “Do you have that donut flavored milk still?”
Donut Joe laughed. “We sure do! I don’t have it on the menu, but I make it special for any customer that asks!”
Shining blinked. “Donut flavored milk?”
The shop owner chuckled and explained. “I remember when I first opened my shop, and Twilight Velvet brought her little Twilight in on her way to daycare. She asked if I had anything for foals, so I blended some donuts into a special milk. Surprisingly, Twilight liked it. So I figured the least I could do was start offering it to other customers if they asked.”
Shining made a bleh sound as the foals giggled and Cadence nodded. “I had no idea.”
Donut Joe chuckled. “Yeah, it was a cute story. It’s a pity Shining didn’t like it, first time he tried it, he spat it up all over me,” He then looked down at Tinkle Spark and asked. “So what will you be having?”
Tinkle Spark blushed. “Can I have two chocowate donuts and hot cocoa?”
Donut Joe wrote the order down, chuckling and smiling. “Alright, I better go get your orders. You five just hang out and relax.”
Donut Joe walked off as Shining sighed. “Well, that was weird. Donut flavored milk? That’s the first time I've ever heard of it. You think I’d remember drinking something that disgusting, especially since Mom says I wasn’t usually a picky eater as a foal.”
Fizzlepop, meanwhile, turned around. Other ponies blushing as they waved back at her. She babbled excitedly and shouted. “Hey, I sowie fow being a meanie!” The ponies laughed and Fizzlepop sat down. “Wight, keep fowgetting tey onwy heaw foaw babbwe.”
Tinkle Spark giggled “Dun wowwie bout tat, ya wiw tawk soon. Besides is ta thought that counts.”
Flurry giggled. “Yeah, Tinkwe Spawk’s wight, at weast ya twyin.”
Fizzlepop nodded as Donut Joe came back with their donuts and drinks. He gave Shining a steaming mug of coffee and a plate with his plain donuts, Cadence a cup of tea and her fluffy white donuts with sprinkles, and two foal bottles in front of the fillies filled with a strange looking milk. The two took their foal bottles and started chugging away, as Shining and Cadence laughed.
Donut Joe dawwed again. “Aww look at the two, they’re so adorable. Well, I’ll leave ya be. Got other customers to tend to.”
The stallion walked off as Cadence sighed in relief. “You know,” She said to her husband. “They really did graduate. Not a single magic surge in over a week. Now we just have Fizzlepop’s parents to worry about.”
“So I’m guessing you sent them a copy of the graduation certificate?” Shining asked.
Cadence nodded as she sighed, “I legally had to, and there really wasn’t much I could do otherwise. I guess that means all that’s left is to start potty training her.”
Fizzlepop stopped suckling for a second and started to shake a little thinking. “Oh no, my mommy and daddy know that I graduated magic daycare! How long will it be until they come to take me away?!”
Cadence sighed again. “You know, I’m not going to worry about it for right now. I think Fizzlepop can show her parents who she wants to stay with.” Cadence smiled at Fizzlepop, who gave Cadence a bright smile back as her horn fizzled a little from the excitement.
Fizzlepop then pondered and thought. “Wait…I can control my magic surges! That means I should be able to use them too! ” She turned to Shining’s donut, lit up her horn, concentrated with all her might, and zapped it! It poofed into a cute donut with pink frosting. Shining squealed as he took a bite, blushing, and Fizzlepop burst into laughter.
Cadence gasped! “Oh my, look at the naughty filly! Now she’s using her magic surges on purpose.”
Shining blushed, realizing what that meant. “Well…alright, I suppose I’ll let it slide. But don’t get too carried away.”
Flurry turned to Cadence’s donut and grunted as she poofed it into the shape of a diaper and Cadence laughed. “Aww that’s adorable.”
Fizzlepop sulked as she poofed Shining’s mug of coffee into a bottle baby bottle with the words “Cranky Baby” printed on the front.
Shining smirked. “Okay, I have to admit, that was cute.”
Flurry wanting to have fun to grunted as she sent a magic surge and poofed Cadence’s mug into a pink sippy cup. Tinkle Spark giggled as he lit his horn and poofed bibs on the two of them Shining got one that was baby blue and said “Spoiled Prince" and Cadence got a cute pink one that said “Precious Angel” The two adults shrugged and giggled as they clinked their foal cups and Cadence cooed. “To many more foals.”
Shining blushed as he took his bottle and started gulping his coffee, and Cadence smirking as she sipped her sippy cup.
Little Miss Tempest Tantraum
Chapter Ten: Meeting the Berrytwist's
The day of reckoning had finally come as Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart woke up that morning. Fizzlepop got up, sucking her pacifier kind of nervous about what was going to happen and she was doing everything she could to calm herself. “It’s alright, I know this is scary but Princess Cadence isn’t going to give me back to my parents without a fight. I just need to act like Flurry, be as happy and rambunctious as possible. ”
Cadence came in with a bright smile. “Hey, Fizzlepop, how are you doing?” Fizzlepop got up and bounced up and down in her sagging diaper, and Cadence laughed. “Aww, just look at you,” The mare picked Fizzlepop up, laid her down on the changing table and started to clean the squirming filly’s rump while cooing. “It’s alright I got you.”
Fizzlepop blushed and just let Cadence change her. The filly was so used to the routine she even lifted her legs when prompted to, and promptly kicked her legs within the fresh diaper upon seeing the foal powder poof through the leg holes. She was lifted into the air within the magic, squealing a little as Cadence nuzzle her. “There we go, my precious Fizzlepop, all nice and clean in a new diapee. Now time for my little gift.” She then took out a cute pink frilly dress. It was small and was designed for a foal Fizzlepop’s age.
Fizzlepop was unsure but she lifted her forelegs and let Cadence drift the fabric over her. She nodded as the dress just came up to the waistband of her padding, and she got up and walked around, showing it off. Cadence clapped her hooves, before Flurry got up, whining a bit upon seeing Fizzlepop getting all the attention. The mare took the filly within her magic and placed her down next to Flurry Heart and the two nuzzled each other.
Cadence dawwed, then took out another pink dress for Flurry Heart and dressed it over the filly. Flurry squeaked as she clapped her hooves and kicked about in her cute little dress. Cadence nodded in approval. “Right, you two are ready to go. Now come on.”
Cadence lead the two foal to the kitchen and sat them down with two little bibs tied around their necks. She plucked two bottles of formula into their mouths and cooed. “This is it until lunch. Don’t want to get food all over you pretty dresses, now do we?”
They both shook their head s as they continued suckling their bottles, and Twilight Velvet came out smiling. “Oh wow, look at them go. They really love their bottles.”
Cadence chuckled. “Yeah, those two cold probably drink an entire can of formula in a day if I let them.”
Twilight Velvet then turned to Cadence and asked. “So, are you ready for Fizzlepop’s parents?”
Cadence shrugged. “As ready as I’ll ever be. I just hope they’re not as bad as I think they are.”
Twilight Velvet turned to Fizzlepop drinking her bottle of formula, and cooed, “I’m sure everything will turn out fine. Fizzlepop seems like she’ll know what the right decision will be.”
Fizzlepop nodded while thinking to herself. “Yeah I do, and that’s staying here. I’m not going back with my parents! ”
The two foals were wearing pink frilly dresses, with their clean white diapers sticking out from underneath. Shining held Flurry close as Cadence held Fizzlepop herself. They looked at the front door with dread. This was it, it was time to meet the parents.
The knock came and the two adults gulped and looked at each other with nervous expressions, unsure of what to say. Cadence got up putting Fizzlepop on her back as she opened the door to see two ponies before her. One was a unicorn mare with a light purple coat with intimidating green eyes, and her auburn mane cut short and tied conservatively. She wore a simple red dress that rippled around her body, hiding her cutie mark. Her husband was wearing a fancy suit with tail coats coming from the back end. He was as tall and intimidating as Tempest was before, with his dark purple coat and his elegant dark blue mane cut short, with intimidating blue eyes. Cadence just gulped as she put on a queasy smile and asked. “Hello? You two must be Fizzlepop’s parents, correct?”
The stallion held out a hoof. “Yes. I’m Fizzle Beacon, head of the Berrytwist family,” He then pointed to his wife. “This is my lovely wife, Soft Swirl.”
Cadence nodded. “Well it’s nice to meet you both, come in.” The princess led the two inside and they all settled around the coffee table, with a tea set already in place. Fizzlepop was shaking all over, with her parents intimidating glares now gazing down on her, making the little filly tinkle a little in her diaper.
Soft Swirl turned to Shining and commented. “You must be Prince Shining Armor.”
Shining nodded, holding Flurry, who was giving the parents a mean glare. Soft Swirl scoffed. “Look at this little filly giving me that look, she must be quite the troublemaker.”
Cadence blushed. “Oh, she can be a hoofful at times, but she’s very precious to us.”
Fizzle Beacon sat down and commented in a demeaning tone. “Soft Swirl, let’s not bother the royalty anymore then we need to. We’re just here to see if Fizzlepop can demonstrate her ability to control her magic, and we’ll be on our way.”
The mare sat down alongside her husband as Cadence and Shining Armor gave each other nervous looks. Cadence looked back and asked. “So um…would you two like some tea?”
Fizzle Beacon nodded. “Yes, tea will be nice. It was quite the trip here from our new mansion.”
As Cadence poured the two cups of tea from the teapot, Shining asked, “So what do you two do, exactly?”
Fizzle Beacon chuckled. “Well if you must know, I’m the head of the Berrrytwist Corporation. We create all kinds of sugary sweets for young foals all over Equestria. My family’s been doing it for hundreds of years.”
Cadence put the two cups of tea in front of the Berrytwists’ and watched as they sipped their cups of tea as she thought. “I never would’ve imagine ponies that make sweets could be so snobby and boring. But I guess they can’t all be like the Cakes or Donut Joe .”
Fizzlepop smirked, seeing an opportunity and lit her horn and shot beams of energy at the cups of tea, turning the two cups into big goofy pink mugs with hot cocoa. Complete with large swirls of whip cream.
The two ponies blinked in confusion as Fizzle Beacon growled. “I thought you two said her magic surges were under control.”
Cadence blushed. “They really are, she graduated magic preschool and everything. But she still has a flare up now and again. I mentioned that in the letter I sent you.”
Soft Swirl scoffed. “Speaking of which, have you started her toilet training yet?”
Shining shook his head. “She’s still too young for that. We think you should wait at least a year or two before you start that. No need to make her give her diapers prematurely.”
Fizzle Beacon laughed. “A year or two? No, no, no. Surely you jest. We can’t have Fizzlepop ruining our mansion.”
Fizzlepop growled and shouted. “Awe ya eva cawe about is tat stupid mansion!”
Surprisingly, Soft Swirl seemed to get what Fizzlepop was trying to say. She looked down at the filly and scoffed. “My goodness, such rude behavior. We’ll need to fix that before she becomes evil again. Our family name is already in turmoil because of what she did.”
Fizzle Beacon nodded. “That’s right. And it seems she’s still cruel even as a foal.”
Fizzlepop stuck her tongue out at them and the two gasped. Cadence blushed as she “scolded” her. “Bad filly, that was a no no.”
Fizzle Beacon sighed. “Well, it seems we have a lot of work on our hooves then. Is she usually like this, your highness?”
Cadence shook her head. “Not at all, she just hasn’t had a nap yet.”
Soft Swirl threw up a hoof. ”Alright, well how about you go make sure she’s well rested. We want to visit an art gallery here as well, and we want to see if Fizzlepop can behave in front of other ponies.”
Cadence gulped. “Uh…are you sure that’s a good idea? Even if she’s on her best behavior, I think bringing a foal to an art gallery is a really bad idea. They’re too young to appreciate that sort of stuff, they’re gonna think it’s boring.”
Soft Swirl merely protested. “Nonsense. We used to bring Fizzlepop with us to many parties to show her off, and she was very well behaved. She rarely had her flare ups after we brought in our personal tutor to teach her to control her magic. It seems we may have to hire her again, unfortunately.”
Fizzlepop whimpered, unsure of what to say or do, but let Cadence take her to Shining’s old room and place her in the crib. “It’s okay, Fizzlepop,” Cadence reassured her. “Don’t worry about being naughty I think you’re doing a great job.”
Fizzlepop nodded giggling as she tried to tell Cadence how much fun she was going to have at the art gallery, but all Cadence heard was the baby babble that was spat out. The princess giggled as she cooed. “Alright, settle down. Time for you to get some sleep.” She kissed the filly on the cheek as Fizzlepop sweetly booped Cadence’s nose.
The princess sighed as she turned around. “Now I have to endure these two snobs. It shouldn’t be too bad I’ve dealt with ponies like these all my life.” She strode through the door as Fizzlepop settled down, looking up at her mobile wondering on what she will do to some stupid art gallery.
The Berrytwists went browsing through the art gallery later that afternoon, with Fizzlepop in a stroller crossing her forelegs in a pout. She hated these fancy art galleries, they were boring and the art they showed was so stupid. The filly turned to a painting with splotches of colors splattered all over and she laughed, thinking it looked like a foal just smeared hoof paint all over it. Then her father nodded in approval. “Ah, seems our Fizzlepop hasn’t forgotten these grand galleries or those fancy parties. Maybe she won’t be too bad after all. And perhaps she won’t be as difficult to raise this time.”
But just as he said that, Fizzlepop lit her horn and shot a beam of energy at the painting with smears and poofed it, adorning it with colorful hoof prints. The ponies turned and eyed the painting as Fizzle Beacon asked. “Was the painting like that, or does it suddenly seem more foalish?”
His wife eyed it. “Who knows? Maybe the artist was going for something like that? Who am I to question the tastes of the upper crust.”
Fizzlepop giggled, turning to an urn. She shot a beam of light, hitting and it turning into a pink training potty. Cadence stifled her giggles as they continued.
Fizzlepop bounced in her diaper, shooting off her horn left and right turning the boring paintings into fun drawings of the foalish nature. A few ponies began to take notice, and one fancy mare dawwed. “Look here, everypony!”
Everyone turned to see a painting that was now a cute foal’s attempt at a painting of Celestia, with her rainbow mane splotched over, and her limbs and horn way out of proportion. But the fancy ponies all awed and cooed over it like it was some masterpiece.
Fizzlepop. meanwhile, was kicking about and squealing unable to contain her excitement. Cadence nuzzled her. “Aww, you’re a little artist, aren’t you? But for your little plan to work, and I can’t believe I’m saying this. Try being a little more outrageous.”
Fizzlepop closed her eyes and concentrated all her power into her horn as she thought. “Alright, here goes nothing!” She then released all the power from her horn and the entire place was flooded with light!
Cadence woke to the smell of foal powder, and gasped upon seeing the whole place looked like a foal’s arts and crafts room! Glitter and paint were all over the place, and the floors were scattered into many different foalish shapes and colors.
Fizzlepop’s parents were in shock! Turning towards the foal in horror, Fizzlepop’s father shouted! “This is insane! How could Fizzlepop do this to a wonderful art gallery?!”
“Atrocious!” Her mother added, and sternly scolded. “Bad filly! You’re going to be in so much trouble for this!”
Cadence rolled her eyes. “Hey, it’s not that bad! Besides, you fancy ponies were dawwing over Fizzlepop’s art all day in case you haven’t noticed.”
Fizzle Beacon gulped as he looked around the foalish art gallery and whispered. “What if she does this to our mansion? We can’t have that!”
Soft Swirl grimaced, seeing a clay sculpture that now looked like it was made of play clay, and whispered in agreement. “We can’t have her come to our mansion. We have priceless sculptures ourselves. She’ll surely ruin them.”
Fizzle Beacon whimpered, clopping his hooves on the ground with insecurity, sweat coming down his brow. “I...I think that I agree we can’t have Fizzlepop, she’ll probably turn our entire mansion into a foal’s castle.”
Soft Swirl turned around and pleaded. “P-Princess Cadence, can you care for her? We can't have Fizzlepop, she’s too crazy!”
Fizzlepop giggled, happily kicking about in her padding and clapping her tiny hooves in glee. Her little plan had worked.
Cadence smirked as she tapped a hoof to her chin. “Oh, I don’t know. She could be too much, even for me.”
The parents gulped and Fizzlepop rolled her eyes, but Cadence turned towards the filly and winked, as the two Berrytwists knelt down in front of the princess, pleading together. “Please, we can't have her! We can void the agreement, whatever you want!”
Cadence then nodded and cooed. “Alright, if you insist. Now come on, let’s get out of here. And then we can sign the adoption papers.”
Fizzlepop squealed in joy laughing as Cadence took out a spray. “But first, we better turn this art gallery back to normal.” She took out a huge potion, and sprayed, reverting the gallery back to normal.
Fizzle Beacon blinked in surprise. “Wh..what is that?”
Cadence showed off the spray. “Oh just something I borrowed from the magic daycare. Comes quite in handy with unexpected magic surges.”
The parents shrugged and Cadence walked off, strolling a happy Fizzlepop out of the gallery with the filly thinking.”I did it! I'm officially free from my parents! ”

Prolouge: A cure for a broken horn
It had been a week since The Storm King's defeat, and Tempest Shadow (better known now by her actual name of Fizzlepop Berry Twist) was going down the street one sunny morning in Ponyville. She gulped, looking down as ponies either gasped or walked around her. She sighed and thought to herself. “It's going to take some time for ponies to get used to me. At least that’s what Twilight said. I mean, Starlight Glimmer became friends with them almost too easily. Why not me? ”She headed to the market while lost in thought, and came to one earth pony mare who was gulping and shaking all over as Tempest blushed and asked. “Uh... two oranges, please?”
The mare squealed. “Uh sure.” She hoofed them over without a word and Tempest asked. “Uh...shouldn’t I pay you?”
The mare squeaked again. “N-no need... they’re... uh... f-free.”
Fizzlepop gave an exasperated sigh. “Look I'm not evil anymore, okay?” She put a bag of bits down and hoofed them over to the terrified mare. “There! See? No harm done, nothing happened.”
The mare squeaked, taking the bits. “T-thank you.”
Fizzlepop sighed, putting her head down and trotting back to Twilight's castle, grumbling the entire time. She came upon the castle and slammed the doors behind her. The large mare stomped to the kitchen and started peeling the oranges when Twilight came in with a smile, unaware of what had transpired outside. “Oh, hey Tempest, how are you doing?” She innocently asked.
“Well everypony still freaks out everytime I go out so I guess other than that everything is just great.” Tempest growled as she began pushing the oranges into the squeezer, and Twilight sighed rubbing the back of her mane. “Look, you do realize that despite the fact you did turn good, it’ll take some time for ponies to warm up to you, right? It’s only been a week.”
The giant purple mare sighed, rubbing her broken horn. “Yeah, I get it. Not that my jagged horn and my freaky scar help,” She poured two glasses of orange juice and tried using her horn to lift them, only sending a few sparks with her growling. “Oh come on! Is it so much to ask for just a little bit of magic to be left?!”
Twilight rolled her eyes and helped take one glass, hoofing the other to Tempest. “Speaking about that, I've actually been looking in some spells and I think I found something that may help.”
Fizzlepop eyed Twilight. “Wait, you found a spell that can restore my horn?!”
Twilight took out a book and hovered over to Tempest as she explained. “It's a rejuvenation spell. It supposedly fixes broken things and restores them to their former state, depending on how strong the user is. And luckily, you have me to help.”
Fizzlepop was astounded, reading the spell over. “Wow, it’s amazing! Has it been done before?”
Twilight gave a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of her mane. “Uh sadly, no. There actually never been any record of it being used.”
Fizzlepop closed the book with her hooves and growled. “So how is this helpful? I mean it’s probably a dud or too dangerous it be used if there’s record of anypony using it.”
Twilight reluctantly nodded. “Understandable, and I agree. I have been practicing with it though and I almost have it down in case you change your mind. Meanwhile, why don’t you try walking around Ponyville and just act normal? Show everypony you're normal and just like them, that’ll really help them get used to the idea that you’re a good pony.”
Fizzlepop nodded in approval. “Okay, guess I’ll go to Sugarcube Corner. I’m sure Pinkie Pie can help me with getting acquainted with other ponies, since she seems to know everypony in this town for some reason.” She wandered off as Twilight went back with her book, reading it over once again.
Fizzlepop was grudgingly walking around town, as Pinkie Pie was pointing out everypony. “That’s Carrot Cake! That’s Bon Bon but she’s really a secret agent named Sweetie Drops, and that’s her mare friend, Lyra. Ooh, and that over there is Cranky Doodle Donkey, and his wife’s a mule, Matilda!”
Tempest just sighed. “Pinkie, not that this isn’t great, introducing me to everypony and all, but I was thinking more or less we just hang out to prove that I’m normal and ponies don’t need to be scared of me?”
Pinkie Pie smashed a hoof to her face. “Oh! Why didn’t you tell me?!” The pink energetic pony climbed a flagpole, took out a megaphone and took a deep breath before she then shouted. “Hey, everypony! This is Tempest Shadow here but her name is really Fizzlepop Berry Twist! She is a nice pony, so don’t be scared of her!” Everypony in the vicinity looked over in their direction as Fizzlepop slammed a hoof in her face, while Pinkie bounced down. “There, now everypony knows they don’t have to be afraid of you.”
Tempest rolled her eyes. “Thanks Pinkie Pie I...”
Just then, Starlight Glimmer came over and blushed as she asked. “Hey you’re uh... Tempest, right? The one Twilight told me about?”
Fizzlepop blushed and nodded. “Yeah but uh, I try to go by Fizzlepop, makes me sound less scary.”
Starlight took out a hoof. “Well, hello Fizzlepop, I’m Starlight Glimmer. I’m kind of a reformed pony myself.”
Fizzlepop gasped, taking Starlight’s hoof and shaking it fiercely! “You’re also a reformed pony?!”
Starlight nodded and explained. “Yeah, it’s a long story though. I was also a former student of Twilight Sparkle, but it seems like she finally found a new student though.”
The dark purple mare blushed. “Well she did ask me about that a few days ago. I guess I don’t mind being her student for the time being. I’m just not sure anypony else really wants to be my friend.”
Pinkie bounced over, shouting! “Hey, I'm your friend! Remember?!”
Fizzlepop smirked. “Yes, you and Twilight Sparkle are my friends. And so are the rest of your circle of friends. I meant, nopony else in this town really seems interested in befriending me.”
But Starlight just encouraged. “Hey, you’ll make friends eventually. Trust me, it’ll take time but ponies will get used to you and accept you. They did with me, and I did some pretty bad things.”
Tempest sighed. “Well, thanks for the encouragement, Starlight.”
Pinkie squealed in delight, clopping her hooves. “Oh how wonderful, one friend down! Now, what should we do next?”
Starlight giggled. “Well, how about a spa date?” She suggested.
Pinkie yelped in joy. “A spa date sound alike so much fun!” Then she plopped on the ground in a pout. “But I still have a lot to do at Sugarcube Corner, that stinks.”
Starlight giggled again. “Hey you can come later after you finish whatever you need to get done. I’ll take Fizzlepop, and we’’ll meet you there.”
Pinkie squealed happily and threw Starlight a hug. “Sounds great, see you two later!” She bounced off as Starlight cooed to Tempest. “Come on, the spa does wonders in helping you relax. And who knows, you might even make a new friend there, like I did.”
Back at her castle, Twilight was looking over the spell and was busy drawing the circle of power needed to perform it on the ground. “Okay, this spell doesn’t look too complicated,” She said aloud. “But I wonder why nopony ever used it before? Maybe I should test it out”
Twilight turned away to the circle and used her magic placed a broken clock inside it. She sighed. “Okay, one...two...three!” She lit her horn and the circle glowed, with tendrils of white wrapping around the clock and it poofed with the cracked face restored.
Twilight clopped her hooves together. “That was great! The spell works!” But then she stopped, gulping. “But, does it work on living things?” She then took out a small flower, snipped it in two, and placed it inside the circle. “Alright, again, one…two…three!” She lit her horn again and the tendrils wrapped around the flower, and with a flash the flower was restored. “Good, it works on flora. I think the spell is ready.”
Just then, Spike came in, commenting. “Wow! You think you can actually restore Fizzlepop’s horn?”
Twilight smiled. “I think so, Spike. Now we just need to wait for Fizzlepop to allow me to use it on her.”
At the spa Fizzlepop was relaxing in a hot tub filled with bath salts, and Starlight was relaxing right next to her. The pink mare lifted one eye open and asked. “So, what do you think so far?”
Tempest moaned in delight, soaking in the steaming hot bath. “It feels so good, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed in my life.”
Starlight giggled and patted Tempest on the shoulder. “See, you’re doing great on just being normal. And look, nopony is scared of you.”
Tempest looked around, seeing ponies walking around and going about their business, but none seemed aware of her presence. “Yeah, but I guess they just don’t see me.” She moped.
Starlight was quick to reply. “Well it's better than them freaking out and running away from you, so I think it's an improvement.”
Fizzlepop rolled her eyes and sunk back into her bath as Aloe and her sister brushed her mane and worked on her hooves. They were looking nervous and scared, which prompted her to comment. “Hey girls, it’s alright. I said I wanted the full treatment.”
Aloe sighed. “Yes but..um your scar. I was thinking we put makeup on it and shave your horn. I mean we need do something about that.”
Fizzlepop eyed the two and asked. “What's wrong with it?”
Aloe continued. “Well, it messes with your complexion and totally makes anything else less attractive, as one were to say.”
Fizzlepop growled. “Less attractive?!”
Aloe squealed in fright! “We..we didn’t mean to offend you!”
But Fizzlepop rose from the bath and shouted. “Is that it?! You ponies were not scared because I froze your princesses and tried to take over Equestria, but because my broken horn and scar make me look scary?!”
Aloe and Lotus both squeaked! “Y-yes?”
Tempest then looked around, seeing everypony looking at her in fear! She gasped! “Wait..I...I didn’t!” Fizzlepop took a long look at herself in a mirror and seeing herself among the normal ponies she sniffled and whispered. “I...I am a freak!” She teared up and ran from the spa as Starlight ran after her shouting. “Hey, wait up!
Twilight was busy reading when she heard the door slam downstairs, followed by loud shouting. She flew downstairs to see Fizzlepop sitting on a couch with tears running down her cheeks. She looked up and whispered in a raspy voice. “Hey, Twilight.”
The alicorn princess came over and asked. “Hey, Fizzlepop, what’s going on?”
Fizzlepop turned her head and whimpered. “Nothing, just realizing everypony in town is more freaked out by my looks then they are about anything I did.”
Twilight sighed sitting down next to the unicorn. “Sorry, sometimes ponies can be quick to judge. I mean when I first came here there was this zebra named Zecora, and everypony thought she was a witch. But eventually we told them that she was just a normal zebra who lived in the Everfree Forest, and they slowly came around. Like I said, it takes time.”
But Tempest turned and asked. “How about that rejuvenation spell you said you found, can't we try that?”
Twilight whispered. “We could but-”
Tempest interrupted and pleaded! “Please, Twilight, let’s do it! I was only unsure before, but I’m certain now that I want my horn back and my scar gone!”
Twilight gulped, seeing how desperate the mare was. Reluctantly, she relented. “Okay, I mean, it’s worth a try and I think I’ve nailed the spell.”
Fizzlepop squealed happily. “Thank you! Thank you! You’re the best, Twilight!”
Twilight blushed. “Oh, it’s nothing, really,” Then she got up. “Okay, come on. I have the spellbook upstairs,” She helped Fizzlepop upstairs and she drew a magic circle on the ground. “Okay, it’s simple. You just stay in the circle and I power it with my magic. If I did everything right, which I’m sure I did, then your scar will be gone and your horn will be back.”
Tempest nodded, standing in the circle as she closed her eyes and Twilight lit her horn. “Okay, Fizzlepop, hold still.” White tendrils wrapped around the big purple mare and as the light squeezed around her, everything turned white!

Little Miss Tempest Tantraum
Chapter Eleven: Fizzlepop's nighttime adventure
That night, Fizzlepop was sleeping in her crib with Flurry Heart, they both snuggled underneath the covers. But Fizzlepop couldn’t sleep, she stared at the mobile with fascination, she was now officially the daughter of Cadence and Shining Armor. This was also the last night she was going to stay at her new grandparents’ house. Both Twilight Velvet and Night Light were fast asleep not far from the room. She then thought to herself. “Now that I’m safe with my new mom and dad, I better start trying to go potty. It’s only fair to repay them for taking me in as their daughter. ”
Fizzlepop turned to her new sister Flurry, tucked under the sheets and sound asleep. The little filly nudged her and whispered, “Hey…Flurry.”
Flurry stirred and woke up, turning as she yawned. “Wha’s wrong?
Fizzlepop sighed. “Um…I...I need help with somthin’.”
Flurry Heart was tired as she rubbed her eyes. “Huh? Hewp with what?”
Fizzlepop looked down at her own diaper, blushing upon realizing that she’d been inadvertently holding in her pee for a few hours, and seeing that her diaper was still clean she whispered. “I...I need hewp with going potty.”
Flurry eyed her new sister. “Sissy, ya dun have to wowwie bout tat. Mommy said we too young fow tat.”
Fizzlepop shook her head. “But tey hewp me and I dun wan to aways have tem changing my diapees.”
Flurry turned to see that Tinkle Spark was sleeping on a sleeping mat, snuggling a teddy, with his diaper peeking under his baby blue, starry blanket. Fizzlepop lit her horn and lifted herself and Flurry from the crib. Then they crawled to the colt and they nudged him until he woke up.
The colt slowly got up and rubbed his eyes and yawned. “Wha…wha’s going on, fiwwies?”
Fizzlepop blushed. “Sowie fow waking ya up. I just wana ask if ya can hewp me go potty weawwy quick.”
Tinkle Spark blinked with surprise as he grabbed his glasses and fixed them on his eyes. “Otay, if ya want to twy, we can. How’s ya diapee wight now?”
Fizzlepop looked down at her padding, seeing it was clean, and babbled. “I fine and otay. But I weawwy gots to pee-pee.”
Tinkle Spark gasped! “We bettew huwwie ten, we want ya to pee-pee in ta towiet, not in ya diapee!”
Fizzlepop nodded as she bounced around holding the front of her diaper with worried look. But Furry put her wings over her face. “Nu, dun wana go! Potty scawie!”
Tinkle Spark shook his head. “Nah uh, potty not scawie. Now come on, we gonna have some fun.”
He pat Flurry’s back as she reluctantly mumbled. “Bu it makes tat scawie fwushing noise, tat scawie.”
Fizzlepop rolled her eyes. “It not scawie, tat what potties do! Is how tey get rid of ya pee-pees and poo-poos.”
Flurry sighed. “Otay, fine. But I not gonna use it, I stayin in diapees.”
Fizzlepop just shrugged but was too worried about going in her diaper to care.
Fizzlepop and Flurry followed Tinkle Spark as he opened the door and led the foals through the dark, vacant halls.
Soon they reached their destination. Tinkle Spark slowly opened the door, revealing the nice, clean bathroom. The foals all looked at the toilet with a long, open gaze of awe, staring at the gleaming white, porcelain bowl.
Fizzlepop was now sweating and bouncing up and down in a hurry as she whimpered to herself. “Come on, gotta pee! I used to be a big pony befowe, so I know what to do.”
Tinkle Spark giggled. “Otay, but ya bettew huwwie. Dun wana pee aw ovew ta fwoow and make Cady have to cwean it up.” He used his magic and carefully untapped Fizzlepop’s diaper as it fell to the floor.
She ran to the white porcelain bowl, squeaking upon seeing a small tinkle fall out onto the floor. But she couldn’t worry about that right now, she really had to go. Fizzlepop clambered up the side of the toilet with a great deal of effort and looked down briefly into the fresh water. Then she sat over the side so her rump hovered over the bowl, and she peed with a big bright smile of pride, delighting in the sounds of her pee splashing into the bowl.
Tinkle Spark then clapped, as did Flurry as they cheered her on. “Weww done, Fizzwepop!”
The filly then finished as she felt the last drops of pee tinkle into the bowl. She wiped herself with a little bit of toilet paper, depositing the used roles into the bowl. “Otay, now to fwush the potty!” She declared, then grunted as she used her magic to flush the toilet. But she strained too hard and squeaked, losing her balance as she fell in!
Tinkle Spark and Flurry gasped as the toilet began to flush with Fizzlepop inside it! They quickly clambered up and both used their magic to lift the soggy filly from the bowl, saving her at the last second from being sucked down the drain. The filly blushed. “Tanks ya too, I awmost got fwushed! It was so scawy!”
The foals sighed in relief and hugged her. Then they gagged upon smelling the pee on her, and Flurry blushed. “Uh oh! Ya gots pee pee aw ovew ya! Pwobaby cause ya awmost went down the howe!”
Fizzlepop sniffed herself and gagged. “Oh, so gwoss! I need a bath.”
Tinkle Spark went to the tub as he started filling the tub with hot steamy water and Flurry was busy untaping her diaper as well giggling. “Yay, bath time! Wes make it a bubbwe bath!” She lit up her own horn taking out the bubble bath mixture, and carelessly dumped the entire bottle into the tub. The bubbles soon boiled over as Fizzlepop squeaked. “Oh no! Tat too much, Fwurry! Ya gonna covew us in bubbwes!”
But it was far too late, as the bathroom flooded with pink foam! Tinkle Spark shut the water off and giggled. “Wow, tis is so coow I haven’t had a bath wike tis in ages!!” He started running around, popping bubbles, as Fizzlepop just headed to the steaming water and dipped in as she began scrubbing herself.
Flurry and Tinkle Spark were busy laughing as they popped and played in the pink foam with foalish glee.
Cadence woke up to the sound of laughter and splashing, and groaned, knowing that the foals were out of bed and playing in the bathroom. She then gasped, thinking that they could fall in the toilet and get flushed! She was especially worried about Fizzlepop and Flurry, they were small enough to fit!
The princess rushed down the hall and opened the door to the bathroom, only to be hit by a wall of pink foam! She squeaked as she fell backwards, covered in the soapy bubbles.
Tinkle Spark and Flurry turned, blushing. “Uh oh, sowwie Mommy.” Flurry apologized.
Fizzlepop squeaked, climbed out of the tub, and waddled to Cadence. “Oh no, we gonna be in big twobwe!”
Cadence was frustrated on seeing the bubbles spilling out into the hallway from the open door, but seeing the three foals now waddling to her all with worried looks on their faces made her smile, as she cooed. “Alright you three, that’s enough bath time. Clearly, somepony overdid it on the bubble bath mix,” She lit up her horn and the bubbles all popped. She went over to the tub and drained it. Then Fizzlepop pointed at the toilet and was hopping up and down in excitement. Cadence chuckled. “Oh, did you go potty all by yourself, Fizzlepop?
The filly nodded and babbled happily, deciding to leave out the part about her nearly getting flushed down the drain.
Cadence sighed. “So you want to start potty training? I still think it’s too early, but considering you were an adult before, I assume you want to stop going in your diapers?”
The filly nodded again and Cadence cooed. “Okay, well how about this? We can try another day, when you have a grown-up to help you. You still need to wear diapers at night though, and just to be safe you’re going to wear them during the day until you’re old enough to tell Mommy or Daddy when you have to go.” She then helped the fillies and colt to the changing table in the nursery, and strapped all three in fresh diapers with a good helping of foal powder.
Then she placed the fillies into the crib and the colt in his sleeping pad, and put the foal blankets back over them.
Fizzlepop, now back in her nighttime diaper, felt how comfy and secure it was. She gave it a few curious pokes, sighing on seeing her hoof sink into the thick padding.
Cadence chuckled and looked her new daughter over and nuzzled her. “Do you like them? It’s a gift from your Auntie Luna,” She kissed Flurry too, seeing that she was also excited about the new diaper. “Aww, glad you like them. If you see Luna tonight, you should say ‘Thank you’.”
The foals both nodded in agreement and Cadence laughed as she shut the lights off, put the night light on, and slowly left the nursery.
Later that night, Fizzlepop woke again, feeling a bit worried and unsure of how she’d acted with her new mom. She hadn’t meant to cause so much trouble, she’d just thought it would be nice if her mommy didn’t have to change more diapers.
The foal got up, looking around at the empty room. She decided then and there to find her new mom, and say sorry for causing a mess in the bathroom. She slowly raised herself from the crib and plopped down and waddled along. She smiled at Tinkle Spark slowly suckling a pacifier, while hugging a teddy bear as she whispered. “Tank you so much fow evewyting, Tinkwe Spawk. Hope when I move to tha Cwysatw Empiwe, we can stiww be fwiends.”
Fizzlepop then continued waddling out into the hallway. She came upon the first bedroom and blushed on seeing that it was the bedroom of her new grandparents Night Light and Twilight Velvet. The two were both asleep underneath the sheets and she giggled as she climbed up, and gave each pony a boop on the nose and a kiss on the cheek as she whispered. “Nigh night Gwandpa and Gwandma, hope wwe get to pway tomowwow befowe I go.”
She then slowly crawled out from the bed, waddled out of the bedroom, and headed to Shining’s old room, where Shining and Cadence slept. She opened the door and saw her new parents sleeping with each other. She quickly waddled across the room and climbed onto the bed snuggling her new mom, rubbing her little face over the warmth of the mare’s fur. The little filly was so engrossed at seeing her mother sleeping soundly, loving the idea that Cadence was in fact her new mother.
Fizzlepop decided to explore a little more, rubbing her hoof through Cadence’s soft pink and yellow striped mane. The little filly crawled over her mom’s back and slid down, seeing her new dad on the other side, snoring quite loudly. She giggled, crawling to him and rubbing a hoof through his soft blue mane. She then crawled over his back, feeling its muscles and giggling at how much softer Cadence’s was. Then, all of a sudden, she was lifted magically into Cadence’s hooves as she snuggled her. “Good morning, Fizzlepop. You bothering Daddy?”
Fizzlepop nodded and kicked about, trying to say something. Then the words “Mama” came out of the incoherent babble. Cadence dawwed and hugged her. “Yes, I’m your mommy.” And she patted the padded rump and rubbed a hoof behind the foal’s back. Cadence then felt a familiar warmth in her underbelly, her teats had grown again, full of nourishing milk for the new foal. She drifted Fizzlepop near her underbelly and the filly blushed in uncertainty, but Cadence nudged her. “Go on, you deserve it.”
Fizzlepop blushed as she bent down and began nursing, and Cadence sat there, humming, as she brushed her filly’s mane.
Sometime later, Cadence and Shining were packing for the trip back to the Crystal Empire. Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart were hugging Tinkle Spark as he babbled. “Wew, ya two dun have to wowwie bout me bein away. We can pway in the dweam weawm wheneva we want.”
Both fillies squealed with glee! “Otay, we pwomice ta pway with ya evewynight!”
Tinkle Spark blushed and cooed. “Um…wet me set it up with Pwincess Wuwu fiwst. She doesn’t want us wunning awound ta dweam weawm unsupervised.”
Cadence and Shining were both watching the foals babbling gibberish, and Shining shook his head. “Is it weird that foals have their own language? I mean, what could they be talking about?’
Cadence shrugged. “Who knows? Maybe, they’re talking about last night and their little adventure in the bathroom.”
Shining squeaked. “Wait, they did what?!”
Cadence chuckled. “Oh, didn’t you hear? Apparently, Fizzlepop tried going potty in the toilet last night, and then she, Flurry, and Tinkle Spark tried taking a bath too and flooded the house with bubble bath mix.”
Shining blinked in surprise and asked. “So is that it? I mean they didn’t do anything else that was crazy?”
Cadence shook her head. “No, I don’t think they did anything else, and I cleaned everything up last night. I also told Fizzlepop we can potty train her if she really wants us to, we’re still keeping her in diapers though.”
Shining just blushed. “Well, Flurry could use a role model for when she has to be potty trained. I just hope she won’t be too jealous that Fizzlepop gets to sort of graduate from diapers a little early.”
Cadence laughed. “I’m sure she won’t be. We raised her to be better than that.”
Twilight Velvet then came in with Night Light, and they were smiling at the group. Twilight Velvet then cooed. “Aww, look at Fizzlepop and Flurry, they’re so adorable!” The foals turned and waddled to Twilight Velvet as she snuggled them. “Oh, I’m going to miss you two and Tinkle Spark so much,” She nuzzled them and hugged the foals close to her chest. She then looked up at Shining and Cadence. “You two better visit often, I want to spoil my granddaughters.”
Night Light laughed as he booped the foals’s noses and smirked. “Yeah, Shining, you better come back often with our granddaughters. We didn’t even get to show them you and Twilight’s baby pictures.”
Fizzlepop blushed, still getting used to the idea that she was now part of a family.
Cadence cooed. “Oh we will, but we’ve left Sunburst to care for things for quite a while now. He deserves a break.”
Shining nodded. “Yeah, we still have a kingdom to run. But trust me, we will be back,” Then he teased. “Maybe by then Twily will have her own little one to take care of, and I’ll be the one who gets to tell the embarrassing sibling stories.”
Twilight Velvet helped put Fizzlepop and Flurry Heart into a stroller and snapped the button straps around them, then placed their favorite plushies in their hooves. She gave Flurry her Whammy, and Fizzlepop a cute Ursa Minor plushie. She blushed, hugging it while thinking back to the Ursa Minor cub from her dream.
Cadence held Tinkle Spark’s hoof and cooed. ”So, you ready to go back to your mom and dad?”
Tinkle Spark nodded. “Yeah. I going to make a hoof painting of my adventuwes and teww tem all about it.”
Cadence ruffled his mane. “I’m sure you will, and thanks for helping my fillies. I don’t think they would have passed their magic test without your help.”
Tinkle just smiled. “No pwoblem, and I can help them wearn to go potty in the dweam weawm, once I wearn to go potty again. If tat’s aww wight with you.”
Cadence cooed. “Sure you can. As far as I’m concerned, you can play with my foals in the dream realm every night…as long as Luna is supervising.”
Tinkle Spark nodded as he waddled off with Cadence, as Shining pushed the foals from his parents’ house.
Fizzlepop hugged her plushie, looking outside with a bright smile. She couldn’t wait to start her journey as the daughter of Cadence and Shining, and the sister of Flurry Heart. She hugged Flurry Heart and whispered. “Can’ wait to see ouw nursery, sissy.”
Flurry Heart nuzzled Fizzlepop. “I’m sure we will, sissy.”
