Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria...

A war consumed the land, driving the hearts, souls, and minds of its people to incalculable extremes of hate and fear. The fighting however raged on, unbroken by the ever present march of time. This couldn't be any less true in most places in the world where wars were fought against factions, old and new, for dominance over their little piece of the world.

This however is not always the case, not even in most places.

Nearly one hundred and ten kilometers north of the deadly city of Hoofington, one hundred and twenty kilometers west of Chicagcolt, three hundred and twenty kilometers northwest of Manehattan, and four hundred and eighty kilometers east of Trottingham, is the City of Metal Bones; Detrot. There are few factions, few wars, and almost no influence over trade markets and societies as a whole. But what it lacks in conflict, it makes up for the harsh snowfall and temperatures that are lethal to all but the strongest and the smartest. They say the city is as rich in treasure as Hoofington if you know where to look and what exactly your looking for. Of course, you have to not freeze to death first.

Now when Quantum, an estranged pegasus electrical engineer from Stable 37, is thrown into the icebox he must find out why the city is so valuable that it would make ponies come to the freezer. But with an upcoming group of Steel Rangers, a type of ghoul so dangerous that it can kill a pony with meer coat to coat contact, and a group of ponies that call themselves "The Horsemen", it is up to Quantum and his friends to discover what makes Detrot so important.
