Tempest Defends Ponyville
It has been almost 3 years since The Storm King's Army tried to take over Equestria and attacked Canterlot and Ponyville as well as other nearby locations like the home of the Hippogriffs. Over the 3 years Equestria has been rebuilding and thanks to the reformedq commander Tempest Shadow or as most ponies now know her Fizzlepop Berrytwist her platoon of storm king guards have been helping with rebuilding the damaged areas mostly in Canterlot and Ponyville.
Ever since Tempest was betrayed by The Storm King she had done her best to pay for her sins and build relationships with the mane 7 and the princesses as well which with time and some punishments for her crimes had paid off for her. Although most ponies didn't trust her at first Twilight Sparkle had supported her from day one and with that a couple of things had happened in the 3 years.
Tempest had become Twilights captain of the Freindship guard which meant herself and troopers had to patrol around Ponyville and make sure no major villains or trouble was happening and if any freindship problems where seen Tempest Shadow herself reported back to Twilight or one of the other mane 6. The Freindship guard had become so large and successful a platoon was sent to Canterlot to help there. With Twilight and Tempest being so close together they ended up together although both where unsure and had a shakely start they soon settled into there new relationship and besides from Twilights brother resistance to her sister dating a former commander and villian he saw she made her sister happy he kept an eye on her but let them be together. With this Tempest moved into the castle along with Starlight and Spike.
With Tempest's past she soon became very good freinds with both Starlight Glimmer and Princess Luna as well as all three mares sent letters to on another weekly and became close friends.
The grand galloping Gala was coming up in a few days and in doing so both Twilight and Tempest where at Rarity's boutique getting fitted for dresses as was usual now Tempest was not pleased with this.
"Rarity please this is stupid I don't wear dresses I am the commander of an army nearly I don't wear silly happy dresses not that I mean your works not amazing you redid my amour for me and I can never thank you for that but this"
Tempest complained as Rarity was measuring her the best she could with Tempest walking around so much it was hard on the fashionista to get the correct measurements.
"Oh yes I know darling you say this every time Twilight brings you here and when she is out of hearing distance what do I always tell you ?"
Rarity said calmly getting Tempest to stop moving hearing a big sigh come from her muzzle and her eyes shutting her broken horn giving off a spark or two.
"You tell me to do it for her and how happy it makes her feel seeing me with a dress on especially at the gala"
Before Rarity could respond to her reply she saw Twilight walk up behind Tempest smiling before she went to her side rubbing against her as the couple happily nuzzled Tempest letting Twilight nuzzle under her chin.
"You've done a brilliant job as always Rarity thank you so much for this and putting up with this restless pony all day"
Twilight thanked nudging her commander playfully in her dress as Tempest did her best to pull the dress off but not rough enough to rip the dress when she finally got it off she put it on the nearest table stretching and flexing her muscles making them crack as the two mares shivered at the sound making Tempest look over her shoulder smirking.
"Sorry girls just nice to be out of that restrictive dress now if Rarity doesn't need anymore measurements I better head back to the castle and check on my team"
Tempest said missing Twilight out on purpose seeing her Marefreind getting flustered from being ignored which made Tempest giggle loving when her partner got flustered and embarrassed cause of her as Twilight walked over to Tempest and shot a blast at her.
"Hey! It was a joke Twi easy you know I love you and can't ignore you"
Tempest smiled sharing a moment with Twilight once more as the two put there heads together smiling.
Before the two mares could progress with there little moment two guards from Tempests team flew though a nearby window sliding in front of the three mares making Twilight gasp and Rarity scream in horror as Tempest knelt down checking the two.
"There alive but badly wounded who did this to two of my best soilder!"
Tempest growled as Twilight nuzzled into her neck comforting her as Rarity walking over to the window looking outside it.
"Twilight, Tempest you may wanna check outside"
Rarity moved away from the window to let the two check outside what they saw was chaos Changelings where flying all over Ponyville blasting holes in the ground and attacking ponies left, right and centre. Tempest and Twilight could see there guard doing there best to protect civilians and fight off changelings as Twilight spotted one solider defending the cutie mark crusaders as Twilight used her magic to throw the Changling away hearing it hiss as it flew into the air.
"This is impossible Thorax changed the Changelings into creatures of love what has happened here"
Twilight said her brain starting into investigation as well as panic mode as Tempest got in front of her Marefriend and Rarity studying the battlefield closely seeing these changlings looked slightly different from ones she had seen before making her horn spark and her eyes widen.
"Twilight it's not Thorax it's Chrysisalis look at the Changelings they got markings on them and seem a lot more wild and savage then the ones we fought when Chrysisalis was in command at your brothers wedding before Thorax took over"
Tempest said making Twilight hug her Marefreind happily seeing something she had simply overlooked.
"Good eye Fizzle so if this is Chrysisalis's doing it might be a revenge tactic or a invasion like the one I saw when I fought Starlight"
Twilight assumed using her lovers nickname only she can use on her as Rarity walked over to the two look at them.
"If this is a invasion dears Ponyville won't last long Tempest don't you have a plan for something like this if it ever happened ?"
Rarity asked as Tempest walked past the two mares towards a old dusty amour in the corner as she brushed her hoof over the amour showing her old Storm King Symbol on it as she started getting into it her horn letting off a large spark of energy showing dents in the amour as she walked over to the two once more now in her amour.
"I do Rarity it's called the mane 7 but since there's only two of you with me right now the back up plan is for our fastest fliers to go straight to our allies and gather allies to help which they should of done when the battle started if they where not intercepted en-route"
Tempest explained jumping out into the battlefield with Twilight and Rarity beside her Twilight using her magic to form a small shield bubble around the three as Rarity used her magic to help some ponies get to the boutique.
"Hopefully if our fliers have got to there targets Canterlot, The Hippogriffs, Thorax,s Changling hive and Crystal Empire should be sending Guards this way maybe even the princess and your brother Twilight but until they arrive we..."
Before Tempest could finish her sentence a Changling charged her as she used her horn to spark off a powerful blast sending the solider back as she screamed setting out a massive shockwave knocking everyone but the ponies in Twilights bubble down.
"We Fight!"
Tempest roared as she ran into the battle with some orbs like she had at Canterlot years ago leaping into the air and kicking some down to a group of Changling soilders catching them in stone as she kicked two more and threw one into a building not showing any indication or tiring.
"Wheo Twilight you never told me Tempest could still kick flank"
Rarity said shocked as Twilight pushed the shield making it pop as she started fighting some as well.
"What can I say she's a tuff more and always trains daily besides she's defending her home and loved ones she will be more aggressive as well as being able to vent out all that rage she has held in for 3 years"
Twilight explained seeing the CMC run over to Rarity and Twilight with Guard who was protecting them running back into the battle helping a fellow guard get a Changling off him before that guard joined the fight once more.
"And she dose look quite hot when she is in the middle of battle"
Twilight smiled dreamily seeing her marefreind throw a Changling over her body and slam another one into a wall growling as she took more on. As this happened both Twilight and Rarity spotted the rest of there friends fighting there way over to them.
"Tempest darling be a dear and escort our friends to us"
Rarity said kindly and softly seeing a Changling hissing at her as it approached her.
"GET OFF ME YOU BEAST!"
Rarity screamed blasting the Changling into the atomosphere making everyone look at her shocked.
"What he was covered in filth ?"   
Tempest and the others rolled there eyes as she ran over to the rest of the mane 7 shocking a few Changelings near there position and throwing another orb to stop a group of them advancing on them.
"Alright girls come on we are defending the Botique and trying to get all the other ponies there to defend them ready MOVE!"
Tempest commanded as the group ran towards there targeted location Applejack bucked two of the bugs away as Rainbow flew down knocking 3 more over as a large group of them blocked there path making Tempest spark her horn ready to blast them. Before she had a chance a Friendship Guard slid knocking the group down giving the group a opening.
"Go Commander I got these Bugs!"
The guard said blocking a attack and bucking a soilder into two others making a roaring growl as he tackled another as the rest of the Mane 7 reached Rarity's Botique before the Guard was overwhelmed Tempest dived in and blasted some off the guard.
"Midnight "Ben" Sparkle don't you be a hero your mother will kill me"
Tempest joked grabbing a Changling head butting it knocking it out as Ben ran over and blocked a strike from another one aiming for Tempests head.
"Got it Ma don't worry plan B was sent when they began attacking I..."
A Changling attacked Ben making him throw it off and bite it's neck throwing it threw a window.
"As I was saying I don't know where the back up is but chrsis"
Before Ben could finish himself and Tempest got knocked down by a explosion near them making them both stumble to there feet shaking some rubble off themselves look over to Twilight and the others fighting off some Changlings.
The two looked around seeing some of there guards getting defeated by the Changlings some even brutally killed as a larger one dropped in front of the two laughing like a maniac as Twilight Blasted one last charging Changling solider away from the group she saw her.
"You"
Chrysisalis laughed evily as Ben got to his feet and tried to buck her getting his back legs caught in her magic as she threw him away making him slide into a wall as he climbed to his hooves seeing her stand over one of his mothers.
"Foolish pony think you could stop me so easily pathetic"
Chrysisalis scoffed as Ben smirked looking up at her as he got to his hooves seeing a dead pony next to him as he sucked in his gut and looked up.
"I wasn't trying to stop you just distract you"
Ben said motioning behind her as the last of the Ponyville citizens made it over a bridge out of Ponyville to the hills leaving just him the Mane 7 and Tempest.
"Smart pony I can see why Luna loves you but you have just lost all your numbers Soilders!"
Chrysisalis shouted as almost a full platoon of new soilder dropped next to her hissing and growling just as Chrysislasis was knocked back by Tempest backflipping and kicking her in the muzzle backing up towards her son as did the Mane 7.
"What we do now ?"
Fluttershy asked hiding behind Rainbow Dash
"We do what we can to push these brutes out of Ponyville"
Rarity said enraged that they had ruined her Botique
"Oh Yeah this is going to be good let me at them!"
Rainbow cried being yanked down by Applejack
"Settle down sugercube"
Twilight looked at Tempest seeing the old symbol of the Storm King has almost been scratched off now as she nuzzled her look at the army in front of them knowing this may be the last time they where together alive.
"I love you Fizzy and our son if we go down we go down defending Equestria"
Twilight said sniffling as Tempest held her close watching her son kick up a spear.
"Enough of this COME ON YOU BUG FREAKS THINK YOU CAN TAKE US ON!"
Ben announced as some of the Changlins charged him as Ben did the same to them using the spear to whack and stab some of them as he panted checking for his next target before he was blasted in the side making him fly in the air and land with a thud as Tempest and Twilight ran to his side horns sparking and flaring as Starlight and the others did the same.
"Foolish stallion is one town not worth our survival as a species"
Chrysisalis said herself and drones approaching the group of 9 ponies in front of them.
"You'll never stop at one town I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON"
Ben declaced turning round and striking some drones down blocking one and throwing another over himself.
"We can't just let him fight alone COME ON!"
Pinkie jumped pulling her cannon out blasting it at some knocking them back as the rest of the team jumped into the battle as Starlight and Twilight used there magic to lift some and throw them into a building as Rainbow and Fluttershy took to the air colliding with the air born drones taking them to the ground.
"Idiots! Can not one of you take one of these wretched ponies out!"
The Queen of the Changlings said as she advanced one the battle trying to find one of in the open as she noticed Tempest on her own making her run towards the mare as Tempest shot her lighting at the drone she was fighing as Chrysisalis pounced towards her.
Before she could hit Tempest a loud thud was heard as one of Tempests Storm Guards roared loudly throwing the Queen away from his commander making Tempest nod as the Guard looked over to Fluttershy and charged a Changling drone on top her throwing the drone off her and waving at the small Pegasi making Fluttershy blush and wave at him.
"Drones kill that Thug!"
Chrisislais roared as a hoard of drones attacked the Storm Guard as he did his best to fight them off throwing multiple drones off himself and slamming others into ground punching others into building making them crumble.
Chrysisalis and her remaining drones charged back towards the tiring team before they could attack anypony 5 ponies dropped down in front of her blocking her path towards Ben, Twilight, Tempest and Applejack.
"How did you get here! My drones stopped those fliers!"
Chrysisalis said in shock as she saw Princesses Luna, Celestia, and Cadance as well as Shining Amour and Flurryheart.
"Uncle Amour!"
Ben said happily throwing a Changling off his back and hugging his uncle and Aunt before looking at the Queen in front of them.
"Ohhh your done now bug"
Ben mocked getting a slap by Luna and Twilight.
"Don't jinx us Ben or your grounded for a year"
Twilight said getting a nod from Luna as they heard Chrysisalis just laughing as she shook her head walking to the side.
"You think I didn't plan for this all of you here I prepared for all of this say hello to my new drones"
The ground started to tremble as the ponies looked in shock seeing what looked like The Storm King's Guard Changlingafied making The Storm Guard next to Fluttershy tear up upset to see his brothers like this.
"Your a monster Chrysisalis surrender now and we may show mercy!"
Princess Luna announced as the Queen just ignored her and paced in front of the group.
"You think you can defeat me I got plenty more Changelings and new pets to defeat you your friends are already tiring you five won't last long definitely that little foal you two had Filthy something ?"
She mocked making both Cadance and Shining Amour growl hearing there daughter getting mocked by her of all ponies as Celestia stayed calm and stared at Chrysisalis.
"Very well you leave us no choice Flurry dear unveil our little surprise"
Celestia smilied nuzzling the small Alicorn as she used her magic to unveil Thorax's Changelings and Queen Nova and her Hippogriffs.
"TRAITOR!"
Chrysisalis exclaimed towards Thorax making her growl and throw some hair out of her face and light her horn.
"No Matter a few extra ponies won't stop me children finish them off!"
Once again a battle began with many more troops either side of the battlefield as Ben ran over to Luna to help her with her battle.
"So we still on for that date tonight ?"
Ben asked slamming a drone into the ground and throwing the spear he had into another pinning it to the wall.
"Depends if you can keep up with right now beloved"
Luna joked giving his a quick kiss as Shining Amour made a shield around the two knocking 3 of the Changlings off them.
"Kiss later Soilder show me what I taught you"
Shining Amour said as Ben nodded running towards 5 Changlings choke slamming one into the ground the second being thrown aside as he bucked the third into the forth and pounced the fifth into the floor and broke it's neck.
"You where saying Uncle"
Ben said going to another group of Drones some airborn this time as well as Luna flew above him to tackle the fliers.
"That was quite sexy beloved I may just date you afterall"
At the other side of the battlefield Tempest and Twilight where busy helping Queen Nova, Cadance, Celestia and Flurry trying to take down a team of Chrysisalis new toys.
"Why won't these things just die!"
Queen Nova exclaimed flying at one knocking it to the floor so Tempest could shock and knock it out.
"They where trained by the Storm King he was Ruthless so they should be able to stand a lot more pain then ponies or hippogriffs we just got to wale on the hits hopefully they go down"
Tempest said looking over the rest of her friends and family fighting and holding on as she spotted in the corner of her eye Chrysisalis backing away from the battle probably to escape making her shake her head.
"I have had enough she isn't getting away!"
Tempest declared as she started to charge her horns power looking to her Marefriend.
"Twi when I do this I will need time to recatch my breathe make sure you and everyone else gets that bug! For our team!"
Tempest said getting a nod from Twilight as she shouted to everyone.
"Alicorns Shields up!"
Twilight called as every Alicorn present shot a shield around them helped by Shining Amours shield fortify as Tempest unleashed her blast making a huge shockwave knocking every drone down knocking some out as well as Tempest panted laying down to catch her breathe.
"Ok guys Luna, Celestia and Nova stay her and protect Tempest rest of us lets go get that bug and bring her to justice finally"
Twilight commanded as everyone nodded running after Chrysisalis as Luna and Celestia with Nova walked over to Tempest and defended her from the remaining drones that survived the shockwave blast.
Chrysisalis was running towards the Everfree Forest but was stopped by Thorax, Starlight and Pinkie pie who pulled out her cannon aiming it at her.
"You can't leave without your party bag"
Pinkie exclaimed as she turned around seeing the rest of the ponies stop behind her ready to battle her.
"This ends here Chrysisalis"
Twilight said as the ponies advanced surrounding her.
"No one knows that better then me your all filth and will be destroyed by someone if not me someone will your peaceful lives will not last forever!"
Chrysisalis declared blasting at as many ponies as she could.
The last of the drones had now fled as Tempest got to her hooves walking beside Luna and Celestia.
"Did we win ?"
Before either Alicorn could respond they saw the ponies who went after Chrysisalis return as Luna ran over to Ben and Tempest to Twilight as they hugged and everyone smiled as Celestia approached them.
"She won't bother us again Princess we won"
Twilight said making everyone scream and jump for joy winning the battle as Cadance kissed Shining Amour and hugged her Daughter and Luna and Celestia hugged as well same as Tempest, Twilight and Ben.
"Well I was saving this for the gala but Twilight Sparkle will you marry me ?"
Tempest proposed making Twilight gasp as Ben nudged her into kissing Tempest making him chuckle.
"Finally she says it"
Ben joked making everyone laugh
"This wedding is going to be so awesome"
Rainbow Dash smilied as Twilight looked at her Brother and sister in law as Cadance walked over hugging her hard as did Flurry.
"Wait YOUR WHAT!"
Shining Amour exclaimed before passing out in shock.

I think I may just stick to one chapter stories since I can't seem to follow though to full multi chapter stories but I hope this story is fun it's probably my first combat main story with Twipest in it please tell me how you feel about it.
