It was like any other regular morning where a new day has begun and all the ponies were up to start it.

Twilight was in her bed, shuffling around to get comfortable, but as she turned to face the window a beam of sunlight hit her face. She groggily switched sides to avoid the disturbing beam and gave a light sigh.

Twilight scrambled into her memories as she had a strange feeling she was forgetting something important. She recalled a funny moment from yesterday when Spike accidentally spilled almost half a gallon of milk while pouring his cereal, she gave a chuckle in her sleep.

Within a cloud of memories Twilight finally remembered the thought she was forgetting and in a sudden move she stood up from her bed.

"OH NO, I'M LATE!"

Twilight's horn glowed as she levitated a nearby clock to her bedside.

11:16 A.M.

Spike stormed into the room with his cooking apron.

"Twilight! What's wrong?"

Twilight was scampering around getting the blanket off her as she realized she was late for an "important" meeting with Pinkie Pie. In defeat, she calmed down with her blanket hanging off the bed. Twilight turned to Spike who was still in a worried expression.

"Sorry, Spike. I sort of slept in on an important meeting with Pinkie Pie. She asked me if she wanted me to help make cupcakes with her since today was going to be a big day and she needed a lot of help."

Spike was already taking his apron off as he jumped on the bed and proceeded to hug Twilight.

"Don't worry Twilight, I'm here for you."

Twilight hugged Spike back as she gave a small kiss on his cheek.

"Thanks Spike... What's cooking?"

Twilight stepped into the kitchen where Spike was just about to pour milk into his cereal while standing on the chair for the extra height. Just like yesterday, Spike wobbled around on the chair as he lost his grip to the gallon of milk.

Twilight's horn glowed as she swiftly grasped the gallon of milk in her magic, turning it upright to prevent spilling.

Spike gave a smile as he spoke, "So Twilight, how important was that meeting anyway?"

Twilight turned a little sad as Spike recalled it.

"I- uh- I Pinkie Promised."

Spike gave an unrecognized face as Twilight continued.

"Grr, I knew I shouldn't have been late night pacing THAT late." She gave another look of defeat as she looked down.

Spike replied with cereal in his mouth, "Itsh ok Twi, maybe you should jusht go shay shorry to her, maybe she'll forgive you."

"I don't know Spike, I guess I'll go apologize to her...after I eat."

The aroma of the scrambled eggs made Twilight's stomach grumble.

30 minutes later

Twilight was at the doorstep of Sugarcube Corner. She was pretty uneasy at what to expect. All her friends knew Pinkie would do anything to hunt you down just like with Applejack, but since Pinkie was probably busy baking a ton of cupcakes for the big day she couldn't go anywhere to look for Twilight.

Twilight slowly opened the door as the bells clanged together alerting Pinkie Pie in the bakery.

"Welcome to Sugarcube Corner!" Pinkie greeted from across the kitchen as she poked her head out into entrance where Twilight was standing.

"Oh, it's you... You're 2 hours late you know. I was just putting in the last batch of cupcakes to bake." Pinkie looked tired and kind of sweaty.

"Yes I know Pinkie, I came here to apologize. I'm sorry I couldn't come in time to help."

Pinkie frowned a little as she walked out of the kitchen and to the entrance of the store. Twilight could see Pinkie holding a small cloth of some sort.

"It's OK Twilight, in fact, I didn't even need help." The expression of her staring eyes made Twilight even more uneasy as Pinkie slowly walked towards her.

"R-really? I'm glad you understand Pinkie I thought for a minute you would-"

Pinkie revealed the cloth she was holding as she held it up in her hoof. She was smiling abnormally as she was merely a few feet away from Twilight now.

Twilight gasped as Pinkie pinned her down by jumping on her. The weight of the pink pony was heavy enough keep Twilight down making it a bit hard for her to breathe.

"PINKIE?!"

"Shh... Don't worry about a thing."

Pinkie raised the cloth and positioned it to Twilight's nose. The purple unicorn was already holding her breath to avoid smelling what she thought was on the cloth, chloroform. Twilight tried to use her magic to get Pinkie off her but the lack of oxygen couldn't let her do anything. She knew she was going to faint...

The last thing she saw was the creepy smile on Pinkie Pie's face.

"...Wh-what happened?"

Twilight felt extremely groggy as she opened her eyes to get her surroundings. She didn't feel right, and she couldn't move either. She was chained to the wall in a dark room, restrained by somepony. Pinkie? No... Why was she chained to the wall? Fear stuck Twilight as she looked around for a way out. She tried to use her magic to get the chains off but it was no good.

"You're awake!"

The voice made Twilight freeze in place. It sounded a lot like Pinkie Pie. And it was true.

The lights flicked on as the dark room was instantly flushed out by the bright bulbs that made Twilight squint her eyes. Twilight was shocked to see Pinkie standing next to a table with one cupcake on it and a needle, her mane and tail deflated.

"Pinkie? What's going o-on here?" Her words of fear only made Pinkie smile more.

"You Pinkie Promised...remember Twilight?"

"Y-yes I know Pinkie, and I said I was sorry!"

"You know what happens to ponies who break a Pinkie Promise, Twilight?" She proceeded with the sentence, "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."

Twilight's eyes widened in fear. "Look Pinkie, Y-you don't have to do this! We're friends! I'll make it up to you!"

"No need for that Twilight, first you're going to pay me." The pink pony picked up the cupcake and needle sitting on the table and approached the paralyzed Twilight.

"Pinkie! Please no!" Twilight attempted to use her magic to keep Pinkie away from her but was immediately meet with a hoof to her side making her grunt in pain and the sound of chains jiggling around.

"I can't let you disturb me with your cheesy little magic!" Giving a kick to Twilight's other side making her cry out.

Pinkie lifted up Twilight's head and opened her right eye wide with one hoof while lifting the cupcake and needle with the other.

"Pinkie! No! SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!" Twilight's screams only echoed across the room as Pinkie continued.

"Sorry Twilight, you have to pay me!"

And with that, she pressed the cupcake with the needle into Twilight's right eye. She screamed in agony as her friend was pushing a cupcake into her eye. Tears and blood rolled down her eyes as she couldn't even scream anymore. Twilight felt like her eyes were popping out as to how wide she has them open from fear.

It was too much for her to handle as she could taste the treats frosting fall into her mouth. The unicorn tried to use her magic again with the adrenaline she had in her and managed to push Pinkie away a bit, cupcake still stuck in her eye.

"Hmmph, there. You paid me, now you can leave." Pinkie walked over to a nearby button and pressed it, releasing the restraints on Twilight and making her fall to the floor with the cupcake sliding off her eye making her scream in more pain. She tightly closed her right eye and begged for the pain to stop.

The only thing she needed to do was run away from Pinkie and that's just what she was letting her do, but she didn't trust Pinkie for a solid second after what happened. Looking for a way out she saw a flight of stairs and began to climb them as fast as she could while holding her eye with her hoof.

Pinkie Pie just watched as she saw the unicorn limping away and disappearing from view.

Twilight found the exit to Sugarcube Corner as she scurried back to the library, blood and tears dripping onto her coat and the floor. She felt extremely worn out and was moving at a slow pace while also leaving behind a trail of blood, wondering if anypony saw her at all.

Arriving at the entrance of her library she burst through the front door expecting to find Spike but wasn't anywhere in the living room. Twilight cried with every step to the couch where she wanted to lay on.

"Spike...help." The pain continued, Twilight didn't know what to do to make it stop.

A loud slam came from the bedroom as Spike came down to find Twilight, his eyes opened wide.

"TWILIGHT! What happened to you?"

Twilight collapsed to the floor. She didn't have any energy left in her to continue.

"Twilight? Talk to me! Twilight!"

"Twilight! Wake up!"

Twilight was scampering around in her blanket as she opened her eyes to be greeted by Spike. She quickly checked her right eye.

"Spike, is my eye still there?!"

The baby dragon gave a confused look and replied, "Of course it's there, Twilight. Man, that must of been one scary nightmare you had."

Nightmare? It was all just a nightmare? Oh thank Celestia, Twilight thought in her head.

Thinking about it made Twilight start to cry. The horror of having a cupcake stuck in your eye. Spike knew it must have been really scary for her.

"Don't worry Twilight, I'm here for you." The baby dragon then proceeded to hug the crying purple unicorn.

"...Thanks Spike... I love you." Twilight hugged Spike back as she gave a small kiss on his cheek."

Spike glanced up at Twilight with a smile on his face.

"I love you too, Twilight."
