After The Fall of Equestria: Divided Land

The late Equestrian Period of History was one of Conquest and terror that would end in the final end to the Old Equestrian Order and bring about the Mesobelladona Period, which lasted from 13 ACC (After Caribou Conquest) to 1490 ACC.
The Factor that started the end of the Equestrian Period was the Caribou Conquest, also known as The De Equo Cecidit or better known as ‘The Fall of Equestria. It was when a race of barbarian interlopers, the Caribou Tribes from Tarandrussia who escaped from the destructive event known only as ‘The Cycle’.
These invaders were lead by one male known as Dainn and his name among the Ponies will always mean ‘Tyrant’, ‘enslaver’, or ‘defiler’. He and the other Caribou came to conquer Equestria and to make the mares their sex slaves. They sought to turn the stallions to their ways and would make it so.
From what Caribou Legend says, Dainn made a deal with the spirit of chaos, Discord. the deal was to be given power to turn the ponies into what the Caribou wanted. So it was that the Caribou sought out the Crystal Heart to corrupt it. The first landing came at Lindisbarne, which was sacked and many of the females raped. The Caribou next started building a fortress city near the Crystal Empire known as Hornivik. It was form there that Dainn corrupted Shining Armor and Cadence. from then on he used subterfuge and corruption to start the take over of Equestria.
It was at Canterlot, at the Spring Planting Festival, that Equestria would fall. The Caribou had entered the city with the help of corrupted stallions and Royal Guards turned by Shining. Celestia and Luna would be captured, de-horned and their wings plucked. Later on, Princess Twilight Sparkle would surrender when the Caribou Army came to Ponyville. Some Historians debate if Twilight surrendered on her own will or was blackmailed into it by Caribou Supporters such as Rarity.
So it was that Dainn conquered Equestria, enslaving and raping mares and corrupting Stallions. He rule would be remembered as the start of the downfall to come as The economy started crumbling, leading to Dainn to launch attacks against The Griffins, Saddle Arabians, Changelings and Zebras. the Changelings and Zebras fell fast with the Zebra tribes selling slaves to the Caribou. The Saddle Arabians and Griffins held out against the barbarians and their Pony allies. Inside Equestria itself, Resistance cells formed in the forests and they were helped by Discontented Caribou who rejected Dainn.
The largest rebel group was that belonging to Starlight Glimmer, who was at first a pony who sought to equalize Equestria by removing Cutie Marks, until the Caribou attacked her Town and enslaved all the ponies in it, save for Starlight, who escaped. Vowing never to run away again, she gathered followers and taught them to fight, even to use De-marking to remove the Cutie Marks from The Corrupted Royal Guard Stallions. Her group would continue, despite propaganda by The Caribou that Starlight was captured and turned into a purple, which was found out to not be true and the ‘Starlight’ on display was a Changeling slave.
But it seemed that things would get worse for Equestria as Food shortages started to happen, causing famine in many parts, killing Pony and Caribou alike. Political corruption by the Canterlot nobility and Caribou High Lords did little to stop it. Farms were left bare and the wars against Saddle Arabia and The Griffins were causing a lack of males for the non-enslaved workforce. Dragons and Diamond Dogs attacked many settlements across the land, with many Pegasi short handed, the weather was out of control and it soon became apparent that things were leading up to disaster.
Then came the attacks.
The First Attackers came from the North from the Yaks, who were joined by rebels hiding in their lands. They struck against the Crystal Empire itself, joining Crystal Ponies that had finally had it with their enslavement by the Caribou. Both Shining Armor and Cadence were driven out along with the small Garrison of Equestrian Ponies and Caribou. The Rebels also took their unnamed daughter, which they would name Furry Heart. The Royal Couple returned with a larger army, only for the Yaks and Rebels to retreat, but not before destroying most of the buildings and food stores of the Crystal Empire, leaving Cadence and Shining with nothing but ruins.
Then from the North West, warbands of Elks attacked, sacking Vanhoofver and other settlements, defeating an army of Caribou and Equestrians before returning to their lands. over 120,000 left dead in their wake and more raids would come.
The Griffins would be conquered, but not by Dainn’s forces as The Tambelonians attacked and conquered what was not taken by the Caribou before attacking them with overwhelming force.
The Ottomare Empire then attacked the South-East, taking Fillydelphia and burning it to the Ground.
Then from the North east, coming across the sea in large ships came a nightmare.
In the South, a despot by the name ‘Storm King’ attacked from large battle airships, enslaving pony and Caribou.
Manehatten would be the first to fall as the large ships unloaded hundreds of thousands of bipedal wolves riding on Deer-like mounts and thirsting for the blood of Caribou and Pony alike. They were the Hyrcanians; old enemies of the Caribou race who had attacked them in the past and now had followed then to Equestria!
Forced now to act, Dainn himself marched with an army of over 230,000 soldiers to Manehatten, only to receive more bad news about other old enemies.
The Reindeer, cousins and blood enemies of The Caribou, had landed a force of 800,000 warriors at Baltamare like Cloudsdale was struck with an attack by the winged terrors, the Preyton, who were deer like beings. The city of clouds was destroyed, all males killed and all females taken to the Preytron homelands.
Overwhelmed with the attacks, Dainn was to retreat when the Hyrcanian Army struck, millions of the warriors; male and female, attacked the Caribou with deadly force. Dainn fought like a lion, screaming out his hate for the Hyrcanians and his belief of Male Superiority over Females, before he was killed by Arrows shot by the Hyrcanian ruler: Tarkhanena Rei'kashi IV.
A female had killed him.
It was then that all Tartarus broke lose.
Back at Canterlot, the Caribou Noble Council started fighting among themselves for who should be the new High King. the Argument soon turned into a bloody Civil War in the Capital itself as even the Canterlot elite started fighting. Brother against Brother, Friendship was gone and soon most of the Caribou and Ponies of Canterlot were dead on the streets. those that survived were fleeing the capital or were staying to see what would happen as the warring leaders had left the ruined city to other places with what was left.
It would be the Dragons, lead by the new Dragon Lord Ember, that would take Canterlot. Looting all the jewels and gold fro the capital, then blasting it with Fire and burning the ruined Capital to the ground!
and Equestria Broke apart...........
Warring fractions soon rose up from the Caribou and ponies, each claiming their right to rule Dainn’s Empire, even through now there was no Empire left. The land was divided and with Invaders attacking, Equestria itself was in ruins. The Two sisters were gone, unknown what had happened to them and it is still a Mystery to this day. Twilight Sparkle was still hold up in Ponyville, controlled by Gunne and Big Mac (The dragon Spike had been killed under Mysterious circumstances.). Cadence also disappeared after finding the ruins of what she used to rule and left Shining to rule over his Corrupted Stallions and Caribou that stayed. He never even tried stopping her.
Yet there was one mare that sought to bring hope to the lands. a Star that shined in this new Darkness..........
