Author's Note

This is what led up to the adventure the main six, aside Fluttershy, are about to have. NOTE: This is in a timeline before the Season 4 finale was aired. Any continuity errors should be considered to be part of an alternate universe. For those who managed to view the story, you are smart (: . Prologue

Rainbow Dash was cleaning her house and all the wreckage that was there after a tornado managed to disperse the cloud her house was on. The house survived, but everything inside had failed to stay at their proper place. While Rainbow Dash was cleaning up the wrecked table in the kitchen, she had heard a intense knocking on one of her cabinets.

"Rainbow Dash? Could you let me out? Its a little bit tight in -" Pinkie Pie broke the cabinet door and fell out "- never mind.

"Pinkie? How did you even manage to get in that cabin -" Rainbow Dash just realized something. "- how did you even get on this cloud anyway?"

"That isn't important." Pinkie Pie said with a weird smile across her face.

"Anyways, could you help me clean this mess up?" Dash asked. "It will only be for a little bit."

"Sure!" Pinkie Pie said more cheerful than Dash had expected. While they were cleaning the house, none of them had made a sound. Rainbow Dash was done with the bedroom, but went to check on Pinkie.

"Pinkie Pie, where are -" Rainbow Dash was surprised at what she had saw. "- Pinkie Pie? How did you manage to clean the whole house in only half an hour?" Dash said in awe. The house had looked like it did before that tornado came.

"A magician never tells his tricks." Pinkie said with a huge smile. "Did you know that there is a pony who can control our every movement by just talking? He could also write it down on paper and it would do the same thing."

"I don't understand what that meant, but I'm not gonna question it." Dash said. "I'm going out to get some furniture to fill this house you magically emptied out." Rainbow Dash was amazed that despite all what had damaged her house, the saddlebags had not looked like they had been touched by any of the flying rebel that put her house in shambles. Rainbow Dash picked it up to examine it further.

"Well, I have to go." Pinkie Pie said. "Twilight told me that she needed help at her tree house."

"Okay, but if you need anything" - Rainbow Dash put on her saddlebag - "I'll be at the furniture store." Pinkie Pie nodded and trotted away from Rainbow Dash's house. A few seconds after Pinkie left, Rainbow Dash heard a zoom. When she went to investigate what that zooming sound was, all she saw when she looked below her somehow rebuilt house was a trail made up of a lighter pink and a darker pink. Rainbow Dash was thinking if Pinkie Pie was even fast enough of making trails. She just shrugged and went on her way to the furniture store.

"Twilight? I'm here" Pinkie shouted while banging hard on the door. When Twilight let open the door, no-one was there.

"Pinkie -" Twilight looked outside the door "- where are you?" said Twilight.

"I'm right here!" Pinkie shouted. Twilight was startled when Pinkie Pie somehow made it inside her tree house without her even hearing a footstep.

"How did you even get in here?" Twilight asked while looking very confused.

"You will never know." Pinkie said. "What did you even need me over for anyway?"

"I need you to help me organize my books." Twilight said. "That severe tornado put my books all over the floor."

"Okay, but can you step out for a second?" Pinkie asked.

"Why?" asked Twilight.

"No reason, just step outside for about 15 seconds." Pinkie ordered. Twilight stepped outside her house until the 15 seconds were up. "Narrator, you know what to do, just say that I organized the books in 10 seconds!" Pinkie Pie shouted to the air. Pinkie Pie managed to organize all the books in 10 seconds. When Twilight turned around to see what all the noise was about, Twilight's mouth dropped.

"Pinkie? It surprises me that you even manage to complete even one shelf when you told me to turn around. I must ask, how did you even get through it all? Its not really possible to do that, especially when you don't even have magic." Twilight looked around to see if every book was place in the order she wanted them in.

"I have my own techniques of doing things. Also to mention, I'm just taking out the continuity errors that the mess was bringing." Twilight did not understand what Pinkie was saying, but her mouth dropped again when she saw that every book was in alphabetical order.

"Thanks Pinkie, maybe you can give me that technique sometime." Twilight said while giving her friend a very bright smile.

"No problem!" Pinkie shouted. When Twilight turned around, all she heard was a zoom. Thinking it was a fly, she swatted her ear. Twilight almost forgot to close her door. As she approached the door, she looked outside. All she had seen was a trail that she often saw Rainbow Dash give off.

"Well at least I know how she did it now, she can run faster than she speed of sound." Twilight said to herself.

Pinkie Pie had realized that she had not seen Rarity for quite some time. Trying to be the noble friend everyone thinks she is, she went to Carousel Boutique. She bounced up to the front door.

"Rarity?" - She knocked the door several times - "I know your in there."
Rarity had heard Pinkie Pie knocking and went to go answer the door. When she opened the door, Pinkie Pie looked rather exited.

"Pinkie? Do you need something?" Rarity asked.

"I just came to see if you needed any help." Pinkie Pie said.

"Actually, I do." Rarity said with a smirk across her face. She gave off a signal for Pinkie to come inside, but as she was turning around, Pinkie Pie had already cleaned all the fabric and needles off of the floor and put them into their proper place.

"Anything else you need help with?" Pinkie Pie asked as if it took them 4 hours rather than the 2 seconds it took Pinkie Pie to clean the Boutique.

"Nope, you kind of just did what I was going to say we were about to do." Rarity said while being amazed at how fast she had cleaned the room.

"Well, if there is no work here for me to do, I'm off to Applejack's farm." Pinkie Pie said trotting out the door.

"Thanks for your -" The door slammed shut. "- help." Rarity said while looking at the floor. On the floor had been something she had never seen before. The wall for a second curved and then went back into it's proper position. "Strange." Rarity said. "Maybe I need a nap as well, all of that working must be messing with my head." Rarity went upstairs and tried to get as much sleep as possible before she had to open the boutique. Pinkie Pie trotted all the way to Applejack's farm.

She was happy to see that Applejack was bucking the apple trees. It gave her an opportunity to help her friend.

"Applejack? What are you doing?" Pinkie asked while examining the tree she was bucking.

"I saw this tree in the orchard and I tried to buck it down, but whenever I buck it -" Applejack bucked the tree "- see for yourself." Pinkie watched the apples fall off the tree, but a few seconds the after, the apples flew off the ground and back onto the tree as if time was reversed on each of the apples that had fell off the trees.

"Maybe its the pony in the sky who talks and makes everything happen using words." Pinkie said. Applejack didn't understand what Pinkie Pie had meant by that, but didn't have the time to figure that out.

"Sugar cube, I just want to test something." Applejack said.

"What are you gonna test?" Pinkie asked with a confused glare.

"I need you to buck down the tree." Applejack said hoping her friend could actually buck the tree correctly. Pinkie Pie bucked the tree and the apples fell off the tree. What was different about the time she bucked was that the apples hadn't scurried back up the tree like Applejack's buck did.

"Looks normal when I do it." Pinkie Pie said while examining the apples further.

"Pinkie Pie? Do you know what is going on with the apple tree when I buck it?" Applejack said. Applejack went to the tree to buck it one more time to see if there would be a change. When she bucked the tree, more apples fell down, but something happened. The apples that fell off, along with the apples Pinkie bucked off the tree, went back up the tree as if they were never bucked or picked off the tree. "I'll worry about the trees later, I must be dreaming." Applejack convinced herself. "I'm gonna go take a nap." Applejack yawned.

"Bye Applejack!" Pinkie shouted as she walked away. "I wonder if Flutter -" Pinkie Pie had almost forgot that Fluttershy was out of town volunteering at the zoo "- oh yeah, she is not in Ponyville. Well if all my friends got their share of help, I minus well go back to Sugar Cube Corner." Pinkie trotted off feeling satisfied that all of her friends were happy because of her own actions.

As soon as Pinkie Pie walked through the doors in Sugar Cube Corner, she felt odd. She went up to her room to look out the window, but she saw nothing. All of a sudden the lights turned off. "Who's there!" Pinkie Pie said in a very scared but loud voice. She was suddenly smacked on her head, and fell unconsciously onto the floor.

"She is waking up." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie sat up and rubbed her head.

"What happened?" Pinkie Pie asked as quietly as Fluttershy would.

"You looked like you were unconscious for a few minutes at least." Twilight answered.

"Where are we?" Pinkie asked.

"That question I can't really answer. Twilight said. Pinkie Pie looked to her left and right. To her left seemed to look like some kind of sign. To her right were all of her friends, but one of them were missing.

"Wheres Fluttershy?" Pinkie asked worriedly.

"That question I can't answer either, lets just hope that she is okay." Twilight said to reassure Pinkie Pie that nothing bad had happened to her.

"We are all here, and we were unconscious like you were, but Twilight managed to help us out." Rainbow Dash said.

"You must be glad to have Twilight as a friend, don't you." said a mysterious voice in the sky.

"Who's there?" Applejack said.

"You will know eventually, but not right now." The voice said with some enthusiasm. "Welcome to my dungeon. Make yourself at home." The voice continued. "The adventure that you 5 are about to have I guarantee you won't be easy."
