//-------------------------------------------------------// Let's Start Over -by Tranquil Stone- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// All Over Again //-------------------------------------------------------// All Over Again Soarin was at his home, getting ready for his date with Rainbow Dash. The last few weeks had been tough for him and Equestria. With attacks occuring all over the place, the guys wanted a vacation, train ride. Their marefriends found out there was a ticking bomb underneath, and tried to warn them. To save everyone, Rainbow dettached the bomb carriage from the others, being trapped in it herself. Soarin shivered at the pain he felt when he watched the train explode along with Rainbow. Fortunetly, she surivived, but lost all her memory. Soarin sighed. He really wanted to tell Dash that they were an item, and loved each other. But Rainbow was too busy learning basic things, like how to fly, eat, drink, stand up, sit down. Imagine knowing hardly anything about yourself, and than being told you had a coltfriend you don't know anymore. He flew out the door and quickly reached Rainbow's cloud home.He had been there like a billion times, and he knew the route off by heart. "Rainbow, ready?" Soarin asked knocking the door. "Coming" called Rainbow. She opened the door and trotted out. Soarin was still feeling weird. Rainbow always flew out. "Can you help me get up into the air? It's still a bit hard" said Rainbow blushing. Soarin extended his hoof, as Rainbow grabbed it, trying to flap her wings, only to fall down. Soarin demonstrated, tilting his wings, flapping. Rainbow looked at him sheepishly and did the same flying up. "You said I used to do this all the time?" asked Rainbow. Soarin nodded. "You were the best flyer in our squad" Hearing that, Rainbow chuckled. "Must seem pretty weird to you, huh?" They headed towards the restaurant. Ordering their meal, Soarin stared contently at Rainbow. He didn't know whether he would ever see her again, and tears welled up in his eyes. Seeing him crying, Rainbow stared, "Everything okay Soarin?" Soarin wiped his tears, "Yeah. I'm just really glad you're okay" Rainbow stared at him strangely, "Since when did you care THAT much?" Soarin sighed. He had to tell her, "Well, I don't know how to say this. We used to date before your accident" Rainbow froze. Soarin didn't know how she's take the news, "I don't really know what to say Soarin" Soarin's heart sank, "No, I understand" "No, I'm sorry. I'm not the Rainbow Dash you know and love, I'm a fake" said Rainbow, tears welling up. "Please, don't cry. It's my fault. I should have taken this slower" Soarin said. Rainbow dryed her tears, "I'm just so sorry. I'm not the girl you all know" she choked. "You nearly died saving your friends and me. You think anyone cares that the old Rainbow is gone" Soarin said, as Rainbow looked up from her hooves, "You were and are the most wonderful mare we ever knew" "You mean it?" asked Rainbow. "Of course. Sorry, I shouldn't have told you we were an item" said Soarin. "Don't be sorry. I'll try" smiled Rainbow. Soarin dropped Rainbow back home. Despite what he said, he wished the old Rainbow was back. Soarin really missed her, her touch, her kiss, everything. The next week, he had a lunch with Rainbow. "How are you Rainbow?" asked Soarin. "Still a bit rickety at flying, but I'll get there. My mum and Dad were really happy to see me" she said. Skarin unpacked the picnic. "Should we eat?" asked Soarin. Rainbow nodded and they ate. "So that story you told me, was ours?" asked Rainbow. "Yep" replied Soarin, chewing on his sandwich. "We had it nice, didn't we?" she asked, staring into the distance. It went quiet. "I really loved you" whispered Soarin, inching foward. "I hope I was the one for you" said Rainbow. "You were" replied Soarin, leaning in for a kiss. Rainbow dodged him. "What are you doing?" she said. Soarin felt really stupid. "Um, what we were meant to?" he said uncomfortably. "I'm sorry, I don't know you. And I can't be with someone I don't know well or trust. The Rainbow you know and loved is gone" As Rainbow said those words, Soarin closed his eyes, as tears straked his torn face. "Don't say that. She's not gone" said Soarin. "She is. She burned with the train" cried Rainbow. Soarin felt his heart break. She was right. Rainbow he loved died with the train. The mare he loved and would support him no matter would was dead forever. "YOU'RE WRONG. SHE'S HASN'T GONE. I'LL FIND HER IF ITS THE LAST THING I'LL DO!" screamed Soarin, rocketing off into the sky. Rainbow slammed her hoof onto her face. What did she say? How would she feel if she had a coltfriend who lost his memory, and said her coltfriend was dead? She groaned. Rainbow never should have said all that. Soarin raced off into the Everfree forest, rage flowing throught his veins. "She's not gone. She's not gone" he chanted wildly to himself. The forest got thicker as he ran. Eventually, he ran into the Castle of the Two sisters. He felt an urge drawing him near, and Soarin heard voices. "We know how you feel" hissed the voices at he walked in. "Read this and find your Rainbow" continued the voices. A scroll appeared in front of Soarin. From this world to another Within these words you'll find the other Now turn back time And cause a little crime Soon your lost love Will return back above As he read those words, a large ball of glow emitted from the scroll. It was lifted up, and ripped, and a beautiful mare appeared. She was a lovely cyan blue pegasus mare, with amazing rainbow hair. A glow emitted from her, and she smiled and said a word, "Soarin" Soarin sobbed loudly and kissed Rainbow as hard as he could. "I love you Rainbow. I love you so much!" he cried. "Me too" But what Soarin didn't notice was a bright green gleam flash in Rainbow's magenta eyes as she hugged him. Author's Note Sequel here! Enjoy!! Done my my friend awesomeponies03
