Cries of anguish, screams of torment.

Gunshots.

Horrid laughter.

Another gunshot.

The one who fired the shot takes my face in his hooves. I stare through my tears deeply into his eyes, the color of death, stained from the blood of many. His breath stings of liquor, and I can feel the dirt caked on his rust - colored coat as he moves closer and closer.

"Wake up, bitch." He raises his other hoof, and strikes me across the muzzle.
